It's illegal but sometimes you have to check the project you are sending your real ID to before having issue. I know of a friend that told me one scam project demanded KYC which many did and they ran away, so tell me what they wants to use the kyc for? Many corrupt projects changes minds of many so I would say big companies should always be strict and ensure users kyc is safe but some can still use parents or friends own.
if they ask kyc maybe there is a reason, but we must ensure that the project is indeed true and not deceptive. some scam projects ask kyc to steal data from others and use it for their purposes. I kyc about large exchanges like binance, and I don't think that will be a problem. |

I feel cryptocurrency will be more engaged in the near future but I think some of the top coin will still stay on asset class while the stable coin might be pushed to daily use currency. I also think countries and their central banks will introduce currency with own country name that they can control the size. The problem those currency could have is the non volatility and laundering but the daily volume use will be high with time.
every country will surely develop its own digital currency after getting a picture from crypto about payments using digital. and sure enough in my country fiat money that is commonly used has several digital uses. I mean on average when people want to shop online they make payments digitally. |
