Also DEV, if you are very serious about it, then definitely start a crowdfund.

I`m sure a programmer costs much money and the resources (stock photos, animation, etc).

So i think a fundraiser would definitely fit it, it would be glad to donate to it, but only if you are serious.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 30, 2015, 07:24:32 AM
BTC likely has a better risk/reward ratio

But altcoins have even better RR.

I would personally use it like this:

Asset above 10.000 €/$/£  -> Gold
Assets between 2000 and 10.000 -> Bitcoin
Assets below 2000 -> Spread out between a baskett of altcoins with no or very low inflation

Perfect portfolio, so stop bickering about gold vs bitcoin, instead of fighting lets unite them.

People always like to say, DEV is gone.... Smiley

In fact with Trex this coin can move up nicely. Suggestion is to buy and hold , hold for some big returns...

Wtf bro,         Last Active:    June 29, 2015, 10:43:54 PM

The dev wasnt active for 1 day, so what?

But actually this coin starts to gain attention, i will hoard it dev or no dev...

I`m writing this with 1 hand... no joking ... seriously, who would do that?

But definitely it's tempting, these hot babes definitely deserve some "inspection"
1065  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: June 30, 2015, 07:18:07 AM

The prospectus is good, i like the fact that it has a large "breathe room" between 500 sat and 800 sat, so we can always buy low and sell high.

However i think the long term trend is up, this coin has already proven itself to be one of the easiest and trendiest altcoins out there.

Big +1 to the community!
1067  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 30, 2015, 07:15:21 AM
In 20 years, Bitcoin will have crashed down to $0 at least once.

Yeah ... like gold, it has crash since 2000 years ...  Roll Eyes ah ? no ?

And by the way :

Nah c`mon stop the fearmongering guys, bitcoin will be here until the internet is here.

And we know people cant live without it, even if it gets destroyed, we can rebuild it anytime, the data can be saved, it only needs about 100 blockchains backed up by 100 different people, and we can resume bitcoin anytime after the internet is back.

I`m talking about even if a solar flare wipes out tech items. Dont have to worry about bitcoin, big exchanges already use faraday cages.
1068  Other / Archival / Re: Best bitcoin faucets? on: June 30, 2015, 07:12:37 AM
I think it has to be the freebitco.in or the similar .in extension websites.

There are also proprietary faucets, not just massfaucets from free script, but customly designed ones.

I would rather just check out a faucet game like farmsatoshi or stuff like that, atleast enjoy the work.

Is BOD still alive, no joke (i head guys saying this coin is dead)?

I still have 100.000 coins in my pocket, should i sell it or hold?

What do you think about this coin's future?
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 30, 2015, 07:09:07 AM
Greeks need to realise that this is actually the greatest opportunity they have to carve out their own reality and a new destiny..The mass media are trying to put the fear of hell that if they leave the EU they will be in a big disaster, but what they can't see is that this is a the best excuse they have to be able to create a new reality.  They have a Prime Minister that cans see beyond the matrix and is giving them this opportunity, wake up GREEKS!

Big words but nah, they enjoy living off other people's money, why should they change?

I mean c`mon isn't that what socialism is about? But instead the poor class living off the middle class, it's more like a geo-socialism, greece living off germany lol

1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 30, 2015, 07:05:07 AM
invest your money is always better than to spare them , choose a long-term investment whit little risk you'll never made a wrong choice.
if you want to earn some , long-term investment is the one to choose

That a good Idea, long investmen is better choice. some short term invest is scam like ponzi and hyip
long investmen is make your money save and your health save too

i ever see assurance where we can cash out money after some periode maybe 10-20 years but we get health insurance  Wink

long time investment can also be disguised as a ponzi as well.

you also have to be careful just because majority people have their money in something doesnt mean to avoid to do your homework.

none of them are ponzi, trading isn't a ponzi at all, it is your capacity to analize well the market and act accordingly, in a ponzi there is always 1 man only that is taking everything, do you see this in a trading enviroment?

i would say no, not at all, trading is one of those gamble way to make money, where your ability will actualy count something and not zero, like in pure gambling

gambling != ponzi

Depends if the devs are scammers, they just sell the "air" for 200 satoshi a piece , the traders buy it, and then the dev abandons the project and runs with the money.

It could happen.

1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Virocoin (VIRO) Crypto Currency on: June 30, 2015, 07:01:18 AM
Now this is a really interesting altcoin. I was searching through all day today between altcoins, because i was curious what new altcoins pop out these days.

And then I stumbled across this thread, and quite frankly this is the best altcoin so far that i`ve seen , net to maybe NXT, but this on is baby still, so it can be a better investment.

Now i downloaded the wallets, and started out mining, but i`m also lazy to join an avatar campaign, but instead of letting my avatar space go to waste, i decided to feature VIRO coin in my avatar.

So i`ll promote VIRO in my avatar, let's hope we can get attention to it. I also got alteady 120 VIRO, so i hope it can go up massively in price.

An innovative coin like this with advertising feature must be worth atleast 0.01 bitcoin/ piece Cheesy Cheesy

Now i`m excited, checking the trade history on yobit, its all green.

Seems like everyone is buying up this coin now. I think it will get to 600 satoshi this weekend, so lets buy it forward!
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 28, 2015, 11:32:50 AM
Having money in the form of fiat paper rectangles and token coins, contra a bank deposit.

Nowadays people conflate the two, because having a demand deposit account with card and stuff is so practical.

But in fact they are different. Depositing in a bank means you lend your money to the bank, so it is an investment via lending.

You could also ask the bank to hold your money for safety without lending to them.

If you compare the risk of lending with the risk of theft (when holding the money directly), the risk factor may be in favour of bank deposit under normal conditions. But conditions are not always normal.

tl;dr Bank deposit is lending, which is a form of investing.

Sorry for my french but that is bullshit.

They also put your checking account into short term loans, but they dont give interest to you on it, thats why a checking account is free (nothing is free they just dont tell you about it)

So if a bank loses everything, your deposit & checking account goes with it too.

If the investment insurance fund cannot bailout the bank, then they go bankrupt too.

If the government cant bail out the I.I.F then they go bankrupt too.

If the central bank cannot print money fast enough to bail out the gov bonds, then the whole system collapses.

It's all a house of cards, based on empty promises, which will fall down like a domino one day.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 28, 2015, 08:50:22 AM
Saving: Safe, keep value.
Investing: Possible profit, but risky.

it depend on the risk of the investments, if the ratio is in favor of the possible profit, then the investments would always be the best choice

actually thre is some risk in saving money, due to thieves, maybe you save a big amount in your house, and you get robbed at the end...better if you used those to buy a small garage and rent it

So how about if you save it in the bank? It has a lower risk than save it in your house right? Big amount in the bank sure get some interest. It will earn

you possible of amount so you can just sit at your house and get paid every month

still bank aren't 100% safe and their return is abysmally(if you plan to lock your money for the usual 1-3% per year or what it is) low like their chances that they will be robbed, so you see the ratio between safe and risk is always about the safe

low risk low return, high risk high return

Haha but not by a burglar but by them. With a low return you would expect low risk right?

Well hell no, they will just take it as collateral the minute the "Investment insurance fund" gets bankrupt.

Or wait, we got tax money reserves there right to bail them all out?  Cheesy
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: June 28, 2015, 08:47:40 AM

* Do learn how to quote properly, corrected the wrong quote anyway

Good example you got there however none of it is correlated with the topic. Perhaps you should read the main point of my statement again (bolded my main point, some people tend to not read giant wall of text I assume ).

With all what had happened recently especially with the Greeks, Id assume people wont trust banks anymore but that doesnt mean that people will shift their choice to BTC. If actually people shifted their choice into BTC, I'd assume we could see some huge increase on some graphs like number of Transaction per month or so .

Which means that people do not shift their choice to BTC just because the banking system in their country is failing. So the chance of BTC being adopted to the failure of the banking system is actually low. On another note, the failure of the banking system on a country will mostly lead people to shift their choice to another banking system in another country ( high chance for this to happen but not shifting into BTC )

Because they dont know about it. We need big advertisement campaigns telling greeks to buy bitcoin with their money under mattress.

I`m not saying all greeks to adopt bitcoin, but if we start with a healthy 15% that might do it for now.

We need awareness raising for them, and also quick greek language websites for bitcoin, i`m sure not all greeks speak english.
1079  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ╣█├ Research about Faucets ┤█╠ on: June 28, 2015, 08:44:48 AM
I have finished and submitted the survey, I hope my answers will help. Also, I will keep an eye out for your faucet too, I can't wait to try it.

I have the faucet list (based on this research) in my signature, but i`m not planning to make a faucet, atlest not in the next 2 weeks.

My faucet list already pays more then your average faucet so i dont need a faucet for now Smiley

Oh, sorry, i thought you were making your own faucet, i did not read your signature until now. Your research has helped gather a great list of faucets, some of my favorites are there. I like it, nice work!

I am considering making a faucet too, but not in the near future, no ad network is present now that could finance my faucet. I`ll guess i have to wait until more of them popup.

Try out Mellow ads or Bitclix, they are both 2 new ad networks just popped up, they all pay in bitcoin. Perfect for a faucet!
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 28, 2015, 08:43:43 AM
Some great comments here.  I think I am gonna go ahead and buy a bitcoin.  I notice the price is already back up at this point.

Like qiwoman2 said,  I believe the Greeks have problems with money management.  But, I think the people of the US are similar to the Greeks,  Greece can't mess with their currency like the US can.  Monday will be interesting at the banks in Greece.

But 10 bro, the price is only going up from here, the geo political situation is inside a pit right now, markets are crashing soon, and bitcoin will go up!
