1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRA] Ratecoin POW/POS - No ICO/ No premine / No ninja on: June 26, 2015, 10:12:45 PM
Well look, here it says no premine, no ninja , no ICO.

So its alredy more trustable than other altcoins. But now we need some enthusiasnm and perhaps a bitrex listing.

People should tweet Bitrex guys on twitter about this, it could help Smiley
1104  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: June 26, 2015, 10:11:05 PM
Dollar is affiliated with lots of imports and exports, it has a strong position in the economy right now and its is pretty much indestructible in the moment. It is terrible to assume that it can be destroyed so quickly, and so easily.... But nothing is impossible Wink
The bigger the bubble, the longer it takes to collapse. The dollar has had a hundred years of global number 1 currenncy status. Even the final stage of a bubble this big could outlast a lifetime.
Or it could collapse tomorrow due to a seemingly small event.

I think the FED should buy some altcoins, it would help our investments alot. Perhaps bitcoins too, i would love to see 100000000% returns on my investment.

I dont understand why they buy stupid bonds that have no value Cheesy
1105  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: June 26, 2015, 10:09:16 PM

BTC is absolutely different but again it is still hackable. With all the hacking that occured throughout the world and also alot of bank robbery that happened , it will take more than that to shift people's choice into BTC as an alternative to secure their belonging.
Mainly the reason for that will be that because not everyone know such tech-things or that people will still have some confidence with banks because it has been some sort of "tradition" or "common sense" to secure your money in a bank ( even you learned it when you are in your elementary stages that you need to save your money in a bank )

Hahaha ask that from Argentinians or Venezuelans or now from Greeks...they will simply laugh at your statement.

These guys have experienced what happens to the economy when banks play ponzi schemes. I think if this collapse happens nobody will take banks seriously anymore.

They already have bad reputation so it's common sense to keep your money near you, and not in the bank.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 26, 2015, 10:06:11 PM

Hahaha thats a really nice artwork, please post it on facebook or twitter, we need alot of people to see this, its very hilarious, and in the same time it would help bring attention to Bitcoin from Greece!
1107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: June 26, 2015, 10:04:38 PM
Made 0.05 by buying DUB at 200 and selling at 392, it was a great ride.

Now its 200 again , it could go to 392 again Cheesy

1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRA] Ratecoin POW/POS - No ICO/ No premine / No ninja on: June 26, 2015, 10:03:20 PM
I dont worry personally, the price is a bargain, on CCEX we see bigger prices, i think we can see a pump soon, back to 30 perhaps 40 satoshi.

I have a strong feeling about it!
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DUB] ******DUBSTEP****** [FULL POS][NO MINING][NEXT GEN WALLET] on: June 26, 2015, 10:01:40 PM
If it gets listed on Bitrex, then its to the moon guys, so wise people buy now not later Smiley

It will hit Trex, i think Wink All coins that you buy below 400 sats is cheap, i believe, that is a marketcap of 30 BTC. That seems a good entering point. Was ICO... and DEV is still around, so a legit coin.

Alot of activity on twitter, both the dev and some other guys promoting it so it will turn out good:

https://twitter.com/DUBSTEPcrypto/status/614537927951974400

https://twitter.com/Splatters_Huge/status/614523623936757760

So watch twitter, alot of people are getting interested in it!

mmmmmm.
This sound as bittrex soon?

Definitely, so buy up alot now, or regret it later that you missed the train. It had a pullback to 200, it wont be this cheap for much lunger Smiley
1110  Economy / Economics / Re: I need bitcoin to be $690 to break even.....will I make it? on: June 26, 2015, 09:59:49 PM
Ah forget about bitcoin, buy altcoins.

With bitcoin you need to wait like 2-3 years to reach 690$, with altcoins you only need to wait 2-3 days.

Some altcoins give 600% returns in like 30 minutes.

You'd better choose yourself a coin with some proper market depth or your 600% gain will instantly turn into a 60% loss when you cash out a heady 0.1 BTC.

Alts can hit the spot but they're pure guesswork at the mercy of some totally merciless traders. I'd never bother with anything other than pin money again.

The swiss frank also had a merciless swing this january, is that a crappy currency with no market depth. It seems so.

This is the problem with speculation, no market is safer than others, so the only parameter left is % return, and i`d rather chose 600% gain in 1 day then 0.001% gain in 1 month Cheesy

1112  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 26, 2015, 09:56:27 PM
Gold is a very interesting element out there, but despite it's appeal, it is very hard for me to consider it money.

Its the same as diamonds, emeralds and rubys, all of them are shiny precious assets, but none of them are money, they are just valuable commodities Smiley

Bitcoin is money.

as a far as i know(joking here), the value to a thing(any thing) is given by us, by supply and demand, and not by an astronomical entity, everything has value and in the same time everything has not it

this is the reason why something cannot really be considered more worthless if one day there will be more adoption for it

something is really without value only if no one care about it

Anything that can represent value that you can use to exchange goods is money.. including diamonds, emerland and ruby, but in modern society it was constituted that fiats are money.
Bitcoin is a objectively superior form of money, still unknown to society. This is a paradigm shift that will take time.

I don't think it is something that could be called a paradigm shift. I can't figure out even one conceptual difference between gold and bitcoin that would justify such a claim

As for intrinsic value, nothing has intrinsic value, except food, whater and shelter, because everyone needs those, so those are ALWAYS in demand, therefore it can be deduced that they have intrinsic value, because they'll be forever in demand.

What about air? If it has intrinsic value (which seems to be pretty obvious), why there is no market demand for it overall (but please don't repeat the old story about clean air vs polluted air)? I guess that not everything that has what you call intrinsic value, is always in demand...

Aren't you missing something?

Who said, or why do you think money has to have an intrinsic value. I think its the contrary, it doesnt need to have one.

It only needs an established trust, or some sort of transactional property to be recognized.

E-money doesnt have intrinsic value, so its only based on trust, the same could happen with bitcoin.

Gold is just a commodity, its not money, admit it Smiley
1113  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 26, 2015, 09:54:30 PM
We can take in loan for gold and can deposit in bank and achieve interest on them.

Did you mean using loan to get some gold bar then put that gold bar into bank and get interest to pay the loan? If you mean that way I dont think that

your interest can cover the loan of gold bar because the payout for bank interest is low. Btw if you do that whats the point of having investment? You

will get nothing then

I dont think you get interest on the gold, but if you do its better.

No i meant pay the loan interest from your salary, then just buy gold, and after the crisis happens the fiat will be extremely devalued = loan shrinks, and gold will be valued alot, so you make money.

It should cover all the loan expenses and you can make money too.

Perhaps negotiate with the bank a favorable interest rate lol.
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 26, 2015, 09:50:47 PM
I also heard that the retail housing industry is booming in southeast asia, specifically Indonesia, Thailand and Philipines.

It might be a good investment for the guys in the retail speculation business. Unfortunately not much other investments in other countries, you have to think for long term.

I think about 40% bitcoin, 20% gold and 40% asian retail markets, is a nice savings portfolio.
1115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: June 26, 2015, 09:45:39 PM
Ah man you totally spinned my words.

Look DUB made today a big rally into 490 satoshi, from 210 satoshi, that was a double your investment in about 60 minutes.

Now its 200 satoshi again, so it will get pumped again soon, its always good to buy cheap then regret later lol

1116  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: June 26, 2015, 09:43:24 PM
My research shows that if the bitcoin becomes the "de facto" world currency then based on the current World GDP (not that it might grow later) it can easily reach 1m$ / coin , if the majority of population will use it de facto.

And that is only if they just put their piggy banks in it. If they put in serious money, it can be even higher!

"IF" words actually shows that you are uncertain about your research as well , noticed how many times you use the word "IF" ? that indicate about your uncertainty . Also I doubt you conducted any "research" at all considering that it is only words of yours without any calculations or whatsoever. You should take a look Johny's post just above yours, that is how you should do your "research" , Math and calculations rules this universe

Also that what do you explicitly means for your words "de facto" world currency ( this sounds like a "NOUN")? your statement is quite confusing and a quick search of wikipedia lead me that "de facto" means some thing like "in fact" or "according to fact" . According to which fact are we talking about because you keep on using the word IF?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_facto

How about showing some proof to support your statement instead? Some simple maths will do on why you are saying this is a gold mine instead of too much of IF words there. Basically I am on the side that oppose BTC as a retirement account though ( feel free to dig up my post on this thread regarding my reason on this )

But you can buy it if you want...

Smiley ( no insult intended whatsoever )

Well i`m not a shaman to see the future but, i can only tell what is likely to happen under those conditions.

Making the BITCOIN a defacto currency will realize those, but nobody can guarantee that bitcoin will be mass adopted, we can just hope its trendy enough Smiley

The proof is simple just check the big numbers, the currency supply of all currencies in the world or to make it easier relative to the dollar and compare it with the global GDP.

All info you need is on wikipedia, so you can calculate it in about 30 minutes.
1117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Am I the only girl on here? : ( on: June 26, 2015, 09:40:11 PM
The official ratios are probably way off.
Not many people are comfortable disclosing their gender.

Except scammers, they love to say they are women.

I'm really surprised that fabiola never did any kind of trade or never tried to take a loan or something

Haha just wait until she makes a bigger reputation.... Joking! Smiley

Wait until what? you guys totally love me already Smiley Just remember to be careful with people impersonating me now that everyone's seen my pics (already happening to me on Facebook). I will NEVER ask for anything so if some other "Fabiola" comes on here pretending to be me and asking for loans DO NOT send anything.

I havent seen your pics, can you show me again, or any facebook you got? It  seems i missed it lol...
1118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll - Where are the most lies told? on: June 26, 2015, 09:38:57 PM
Political candidate by and large considered as self interested people, everywhere in the world, be it Western, Middle east, African, Asian, call it anywhere, their blood and veins act as one with other politicians, their promises and talks to be always written on the layers of the water, never to be noted down in the books and theories.

They are the biggest sophists of them all, they talk and talk and talk and only promises, no results.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 26, 2015, 09:36:51 PM
How about trading it on altcoins? I`m sure there are many many good altcoin investment, now only a few cent cost, later it can be worth thousands of dollars!
Alt coin trading is the hardest and riskiest investment. If you have less knowledge about the alt coin you might end losing more.

Kinda like another form of gambling which depends on your luck and skill.

It is not hard if you try to search and learn it. Yes it is risky but the payout is good so it is worth enough. With gambling you need a lot of funds but
trading you will not need that much, you just need to be patient and have faith and it is safer than gambling

Thats what i`m saying, but altcoins are almost totally predictable, they go up and probably 99% of them give nice returns!

1120  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you want? [Serious] on: June 26, 2015, 09:35:37 PM
Wat I want from btc?
I just want to earn money :/

I want that rather from altcoins, BTC is a smaller investment compared to the altcoins that can go to the moon at anytime Smiley
