For example, the Bitcoin blockchain is built on POW and your goal is to create a POS coin, why do one need to fork the bitcoin blockchain when it is possible to fork a coin that already has the POS algorithm in it's code (pivx), so what you are saying doesn't really make sense and it's never happening evening years to come.
