441  Economy / Speculation / Re: ??? DECISION TIME FOR BITCOIN?!?! 4k or 3.5k?!?! ??? on: March 09, 2019, 10:22:48 AM
One thing I can say is that I know there will not be a dip in the price of bitcoin beyond the $3000 range unlike what most people are saying that the price of bitcoin would get to $800, we just need a few months from now and we word begin to see the magic of the bull run in the price of bitcoin and other crypto currency like ETH and EOS.

My guess is that it would begin fully in the 3rd quarter of the year. But, if there would be any big positive news in between time, then we may start the journey to moon at that time itself.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex - ROE% changing despite having a x1 short? on: March 09, 2019, 08:08:55 AM
I haven't traded on bitmex before but I don't think that's the only way you can retain the value of your Btc or any other crypto in the market, the best thing I think one can do is to swap their coin for USDT since it's a coin with a stable price of $1, the only flaws about changing your coin to USDT is that the coin would only be able to retain the dollar value as at the time of swap and won't go up even if the price of the coin you swapped as increased tremendously.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO! What is the main difference? on: March 08, 2019, 07:17:25 PM
There is no much difference between STO and ICO since both of them has the same goal of raising funds for a project. Though users of crypto will have more confidence in investing in STO than ICO since STO is controlled by a regulated body and the companies that conduct this STOs are companies that are already well known and can not in anyway scam it's users since they already have a working project. I think I would invest in STO this 2019 than ICOs.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins daily.. How do they do it? on: March 08, 2019, 06:58:01 PM
If you go to www.coinmarketcap.com/new/ , you will see that there are new coins added EVERYDAY..
and they have a decent market cap worth 1000's of dollars..
How do people just make there own coins that easy? and how are they raising so much money??
i mean like, whats stopping a normal person like me, doing the same thing.. just making a random coin and making thousands of dollars??
this is so stupid.. what is the need for all these useless coins?? when is it gonna stop?
A lot of peoples are starting their own start-ups for which they regulate a new coin which would be accepted as a payment source on their platform.

These coins are regulating into circulation and are getting the fund raisings from various angel investors, big whales, etc. There are thousands of ICO projects who launch their own coin so you can imagine how fast the numbers of CMC coins are been filling up.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current Bitcoin Price prediction on: March 08, 2019, 05:13:07 PM
All I know is that this year is a great year for Bitcoin price because we are going to see a moon in the price, though this moon is going to happen unexpectedly, this is how it's going to be, we might not see a significant growth in the first quarter of the year but Btc will get back to the $4000 range and stay there for a while, then in the 3rd quarter of the year we would see an increase to about $6000 and then $8000 in the last quarter of the year.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all altcoin return to zero in 2019?Money does not return to btc on: March 08, 2019, 04:37:57 PM
It is never to late to buy your first altcoins. Altcoins are been playing a major role in trading with the cryptos.
There are thousands of altcoins and you need to choose some of them which can really have great markets ahead for your investments.

Potential altcoins won’t make their value fall in the coming future if that coin has the guts. If you are choosing a week coin to invest into then you can not expect price doubling in the future.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: March 08, 2019, 04:15:52 PM
Of course the strategy change needs to be done because the current market situation is not profitable, you can find ways or ideas on how in the current conditions you can still benefit even if it's small, rather than you don't get any results from the trade you are doing
You can always gain benefits in the cryptocurrency market if you follow one rule which is the investment at all time low.
This is something that can help you make at least nominal profits regardless of the fall in the market.
Look at those people who invested in 2013. They spent $150 per Bitcoin and if they are still holding, they can make more than $4k if they sell/trade their coins. So yeah change if strategy is very important provided you walk with the market.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on: March 08, 2019, 03:51:03 PM
not only ethereum, some other altcoins like that. has an effort to replace the limited functional Bitcoin. Like BCH, BTG, waves, LTC. etc. but it won't be able to change bitcoin. because all of their technology is adopting Bitcoin technology. so he altcoin was born from the bitcoin network, namely blockchain.
I think that Altcoin is one of the best coins in the cryptocurrency market and you can have some good profits in it as well but it does not prove the allegation of “Bitcoin being a dysfunctional currency”. Had it been dysfunctional in the crypto market, it would not have been use so widely in leading markets like the European and American.

It is currently the top coin in the cryptocurrency market. So ETH or ripple cannot replace them and this is for sure.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest Crypto Analysis March'19 on: March 07, 2019, 09:19:53 PM
Thank you for always giving us an analysis of how the market is going each week, it is a very good thing you are doing here and I just hope you would sustain it because I am already showing my friends your weekly analysis, it is also a good way to explain how trading works to a newbie without having to give a lot of speech, keep up the good work for this great community.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DUMP CENTRALISED CRYPTO !! on: March 07, 2019, 05:57:58 PM
I don't really support centralized coin, this is why up until now, I don't own any ripple in my wallet and I am not thinking of holding ripple in the future even if I see the price getting to $5.

I believe that crypto was created so that we can have a decentralized means of finance, having a centralized means is against the original plan and must be fought against. I came into crypto because I don't want to be controlled by the government or central banks.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to put some BTC back into altcoins...suggestions? on: March 07, 2019, 12:16:14 PM
It depends on how much Bitcoin you own and how much the 5% would be, if the 5% of your Bitcoin holding is large enough than you can go on splitting between this altcoins, eos, tron and ethereum because I believe that this coin still have more potential in the market than other altcoins and you cannot regret making purchase of them for future purpose.

If the 5% of your Bitcoin holding is not so much, then instead of buying up to 3 crypto coin and splitting the money, it just better you make purchase of the best one and I can say that the best one for now is eos.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you compare before joining any Crypto broker? on: March 06, 2019, 07:39:52 PM
There are MANY people here who do Crypto trading via exchange but also a lot of people who prefer Crypto Broker. So, how do you make your selection of a broker? Do you make comparison before joining up any broker?

I certainly do, and I consider it extremely important as well. I find it simpler with this site https://fx-list.com/crypto-forex-brokers, where all brokers are AVAILABLE to make comparison. Although, it got all types of brokers available with their reviews, but with Crypto brokers, it makes comparison so much easier!
I have made use of a crypto broker just once, this is because I had a lot of work to do within those period and I don't want to loss money from trading, I never compared my broker with anyone because I have known him for years and one thing I know about him is that he is very good in trading, he makes up to $1000 daily from trades and takes it as a life job, he also own a office where he takes funds from people to trade.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: March 06, 2019, 02:33:32 PM
Ok neither of these are easy but as a long term strategy to do think its best to day trade and try and get 1-2% a day or invest in a couple of coins and try and get 20% over a month
I don't think getting 2% everyday is very realistic because the market cannot be good all of the time, and if I do my maths well, getting 2% daily will give me a total of 60%  in a month which is double the 30% which I was supposed to get, so why will I like taking 30% in a month than taking 60%.

It is just like saying that I should choose from being paid $500 daily or I should get $5000 monthly, if it were to be you, which are you going to choose? Let us talk about things that are realistic.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC: Crypto Trading Terms Beginners (& Even Veterans) Should Know on: March 06, 2019, 01:51:19 PM
Yeah, thanks a lot for this information I believe it's very useful and will help the newbies who want to learn about trading, it is a term that everyone in crypto has to know and not just those involved in trading or those thinking of getting involved in trading.

For example, there is a term we call HODL, were by users who purchase coin would hold on to their coin even if there is a dump in the market, the full meaning for those that doesn't know it is Hold on to your dear life. You can make a list of more terms please.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Gains Acclaim as One of Silicon Valley’s Best Places to Work, But Roblox on: March 06, 2019, 01:21:06 PM
I don't really like ripple because it is a coin built by the banks but I see this as a good news for crypto as a whole and I take any good news that come to our great community, this is to show that this technology is here to stay and going nowhere even in years to come.

It is high time government of countries stop fighting a battle that they cannot fight and start working to taking crypto mainstream faster, they should learn from what happened during the coming up of email to lamplight and join the race quicker.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: March 05, 2019, 05:12:33 AM
Yes, it is undeniable that I am very depressed because of the current price, but if it continues to be considered it will cause a very high level of stress for me, so I personally try to think positively and keep trying to rise from some losses.
That’s the same thing everyone here is facing at the moment, but the best thing you can do for yourself is to have patience. One reason I never bother myself about this is that I knew from the beginning that there is risk and I’m either going to lose or make profit, so I invested what I can afford to lose.

No matter how it is, I’m still going to have patience and it’s not even up to two years that there have been a bear market.
457  Other / Archival / Re: Experienced <> Newbie trader ? We are paying you in BTC and USD to test SIFR on: March 05, 2019, 03:32:22 AM
I don't think anyone would be interested in using your service until somethings have been well known by the users, this is because we have scammed a number of times and don't want to fall into any scam deliberately.

First of all, can you tell us why we should make use of this exchange instead of using binance, what is the unique feature of the exchange. Secondly, is it possible you give us a signed message of the address of where the prizes won are kept.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here’s How the 2.09 Million EOS “Hack” Really Happened on: March 04, 2019, 06:58:16 PM
TL;DR

Quote
A new top 21 block producer, games.eos, didn’t correctly set up the blacklist. So previously frozen 2.09 million EOS got transferred from a blacklisted account. The account immediately spread those funds all over the place, too quickly for EOS block producers to plug the leak. “I can tell you they’re no longer a block producer,” says Rose.

A key takeaway here is that this isn’t a “hack,” per se—and it didn’t happen over the weekend. The transfer that resulted in the moving 2.09 million EOS happened a long time ago. From Stokes’s perspective, the real problem is that the blacklist was a temporary fix, a bandaid covering the larger problem of preventing theft from bad-acting accounts.

That's wild that such a coin was able to be taken over by such a simple flaw. Whoever ransacked those 2.09M coins is laughing all the way to the bank.
You are funny, I kept laughing for over 10 minutes when I read your post, you said that the money the laughing to the bank not even to the exchange which makes more sense. Just a little flaw in the blockchain can cause a lot of evoke which we have already seen from this hack.

I just see it as a warning to blockchain developers out there, they should be careful in checking for bugs in a program before launching out to the world for use.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Launch A Cryptocurrency Exchange With Margin Trading Facility? on: March 04, 2019, 06:14:31 PM
I love the way you did this advert, from the topic I was actually thinking you were asking how possible it is to include margin trade to exchange and I would said we have a lot of exchange with this feature already.

But from what I read, you are trying to provide a service so the best thing for you to do now is move the thread to where this kind of topics are accepted, you can move it to the service section of marketplace here in the forum.
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yobit about to take off ? on: March 02, 2019, 08:41:23 PM
I won't advise anyone to make use of yobit or hitbtc for trading because we have a lot of complain from users of how their account where frozen and their coin stolen without anyone being able to intervene because as it is, I don't think they have a physical presence where one can actually go and make their complain.

I will also advise that you take you coin off exchange and take it to a wallet where you have access to your private key.
