541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: May 25, 2017, 04:52:35 AM
50$ is not that much, but with proper handling of money and right investment you can make it grow (if you're thinking to go in trading just not now, build some proper knowledge and accumulate experiences or else you will be just like a person who swims  with no knowledge on how to swim). Buying alts is an option but bying by and hold it till the price go up is the best choice but it would take time before you see the result. It won't be enough to make a small store because in real world there are so many license that you must comply before you can make a business and 50$ ain't enough for that. Just hold that dollar or buy BTC. Earn more and along the way earn what is the best investments. Think throughly on how you spend your money.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2017, 04:22:02 AM
Kids mind is flexible that means thier retaining of information is so good that they can learn anything faster. Don't just teach kids about money, if they willing then teach them programming, if they will learn programming then they will discover more and they will also discover BTC. Teach them engineering economics and proper knowledge about computer hardware and software. You're going to raised him with knowledge not raised him like he is reaching for money.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re:  INTERNET OF COINS ⛓ blockchain freedom (r)evolution [ CROWDFUND OPENED ] on: May 24, 2017, 10:03:54 PM
So after the crowdfund ends in June, approx when will teh HYBRID tokens launch?  I see on the roadmap a weavechain testnet launch in the beginning of 2018, do we have to wait until this chain goes live, or that's some different story?
From what i understand ,since the ico ends by June 21st the coins will be listed within a week in exchanges and since they are planning to distribute the bounties by July 1st the coins will be launched well before that, the test net launch will be deployed by 2018 it is an internal development from the team and that has nothing to do with the launch of the tokens.

Where can I find the IoC bounty thread?  It will be glad to speak out about this coin, though there is no much people knowing about it now.

True. I've only seen these about 3 days ago. I also don't know how they process the mode of payment because there is no wallet address required in the sign up form.

I believe as you cannot right now hold the HYBRID tokens in a wallet, they will wait until the sale ends, then give you a platform to get an address to which they can the tokens to by verifying the payment / email you got after you paid.

Ahahh. So that's how it will work. It's been troubling me in a couple of days. Thanks for the information!Ation by the way. I think the hybrid tokens are changing its price through time,so we will get our hybrid when it has a value of 2 US$?
544  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 09:58:15 PM
Bitcoin is a very good investment. Starting to invest in bitcoins years ago can make you a millionaire today. Of course a mere 12 years old can barely understands the complex system in the code or the way trading and investments works but we can give them idea on how they will cope with that age in that things. Life's begin at 40 and so they say so we need to work hard when we are young and just live the dream after 40 years old. What I'm trying to say is this is a very good opportunity of course because this is how the world works now (in digital age) and this is a very good background but don't let the youngster forget thier own career. Don't just depend on BTC alone make other investments like education.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You only lose if... on: May 24, 2017, 04:19:00 AM
Well there are various of reason why you lose.
You're a gambling addict. Gambling considered to be the most risky action you can take. There are many people who got engukf to gambling not knowing that their wealth is fading and some can't be stop that they are doing unnecessary things just to gamble like stealing.
You've made a mistake in trading and buy and sell. Well some considered trading as a gamble and if you don't have enough knowledge, you will lose in the end no matter how many is your money.
You gave up early. Well some of us lose in life or in business because we always expect fast results not knowing that it takes time or it takes a leap of faith first.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Be Dethroned by an Altcoin? Not in This Life on: May 23, 2017, 11:08:24 PM
everyone is caught up into the hype of the altcoins these days, the price has blinded them all. the fact that an altcoin can simply rise up nearly 800% in 2 months should be as a warning to any investor to move carefully because no matter what that altcoin is, that huge price rise is a bubble and can not be controlled forever. it will pop at some point.

True, everyone is caught up with altcoin hype these days because of the price but I know a lot of people who's investing altcoins because in the end they would still convert their profits from whichever coins they have to btc. So that really means Bitcoins can't be dethroned by an Altcoin. It won't happen I'm sure of that.

Yup. Some are just going on with the flow because it is better to be early in something take the risk in altcoins because it might be surpassed Bitcoin. Some are earning in altcoins and investments that's why they go to altcoins but when they get their earnings they will convert it to btc also. Bitcoin will be hard to overthrow by altcoins but still the possibility is there. I'm more into BTC, but I'm more into countermeasures. I can't just le all my wealth online into one Cryptocurrency. BTC will be at the top I'm sure of that too but I'm not ignoring also the alternatives.

548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: May 23, 2017, 04:16:31 AM
Well when it comes to planned gambling I don't actually can call it planned because I compete with my friends with a bet in checkers and chess so I think when I am more skilled in my opponent I can call it planned.
In sports betting I always bet with my favorite team in the league so I can say that it is impulsive. Sometimes I bet with the combination of the two.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does this community use bitcoin? on: May 22, 2017, 09:49:14 PM
Well since I'm in this industry for just a year, I'm using bitcoins as a mode of payment online and when having a transactions to people that know BTC also. The habit of " cash out when needed and hold when not " have become the system of mine when it comes to btc. Well as we can see the price it is at the 2000 plus us dollars so I see at as a store of wealth and if I had a lot of cash I would buy at least 10btc.

551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 21, 2017, 11:04:32 PM
If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, would you:

  • reveal yourself?
  • if so, how would you do this?
  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
  • what would you think of altcoins today?

No, I won't reveal myself. Just like in anime the legend is always a secret.
Do what?
I would keep a million BTC in my pocket then spend it time to time
Well I'd say that Bitcoin is doing pretty good these days.
Alts are not bad, if it were to challenge Bitcoin to the top so be it. The thing here is that we must improve cryptocurrencies. If it can provide all the misimperfection of Bitcoin then it will be better.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2017, 03:21:20 PM
Well my classmates ask me lot about what is cryptocurrencies and bitcoins. When I started to be fucosed online and spend my time online, my relatives ask me what I'm doing so I just answered that I'm working here in this community. Since I've joined here maybe about 25 person asks me what is BTC.
553  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: May 21, 2017, 08:57:57 AM
The question of why do Islam hates people?
Well we can make it better.
Why do people hate each other?
The problem is not the religion, the science, the beliefs or country. The problem lies on ourselves.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: May 21, 2017, 08:41:26 AM
Well if you're a old person that is not a fan of technology nowadays then I think when he will first heard about Bitcoin the term "coin" will be familiar to him but the term "bit" will be itchy. When it terms of sound then I can't say that Bitcoin sound as money, in order to understand the big picture behind it you must have some knowledge behind.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: May 21, 2017, 06:19:02 AM
True, bitcoins potential is huge in the near future, and I'm keeping my BTC as I can. But being a working student who's just depending on BTC and other work even tho I want to save more BTC I'm ending up cashing it out. But look at the price of Bitcoin now compared to the price last year, that reason is alone enough to invest and save BTC.
556  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 05:04:10 PM
Well, base on the history of bitcoins price, there are no such thing that is on par in bitcoins unwavering rising of value. Like land and sure win businesses, it is worth the risk. If I have the money I will invest 80% of it on bitcoins.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 20, 2017, 10:26:10 AM
The answer is yes, but the possibility if it will happen anytime soon is low. The dollar has been one of the most backup system by the global monetary system. According to some sources anyone that go to to to against the dollar reserve might need some freedom (like what happened in Seria). This will be a bloody war before that happens is if it will happen soon maybe then maybe the people behind dollar is plotting a plan against Bitcoin. It will but not now.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you care? on: May 20, 2017, 08:21:51 AM
Of course we care and I believe that is so selfish if we don't tell if the casino is legit because we have know the feeling of being played by the casino administrations and unless we are a casino staff then we won't tell. But watching others fall and lose all their money just like is unbearable because we know the feeling. We maybe gamblers but we all human first.
559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: May 16, 2017, 02:31:39 AM
I feel sad because for me there are causes worth dying for, but none worth killing for.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: May 15, 2017, 10:24:04 AM
In my own view Bitcoin is not useless. I've decided to step up on this field because my mom is the only one supporting me. I used to work on construction and storage rooms and having sideline world on a fast food chain. Then a friend of mine told me that he is earning online through Bitcoin , that's why I decided to be here.

It's not useless to people who make Bitcoin as a sideline works especially students. Just being online and having a good internet connection is enough. Bitcoin help many people like in the third world countries. It maybe useless to the legal world money system but it's not useless to someone who desperately need money in everyday lives.
