961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 07:23:08 AM
its MY implementation. in my computer. github is for those that need teams to work together.

Yup - can't really see anyone wanting to work for "team Franky" can we.

Now - if you actually have a point that is relevant would you care to now make it (without a wall of text)?
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 07:17:58 AM
Maybe you should post less and code more (where exactly on github is your wallet software)?
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 07:11:19 AM
my implementation does have save as..

Well - don't forget the "copy private key to clipboard" right-click menu item while you're at it. Wink

You do realise that there are other wallets available for Bitcoin and that UI is hardly what the core developers should be paying much attention to?
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 07:01:01 AM
Surely your VB wallet can have a "Save As -> Epic Facepalm" feature?

Cheesy

Perhaps also add a "hover to show private key" while you're at it!

(and don't forget to add a "copy private key to clipboard" on the right click menu)
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estranged Core Developer Gavin Andresen Finally Makes Sensible 2MB BIP Proposal! on: January 30, 2016, 06:45:47 AM
Your signature didn't. But your personal text did say this:

 Tongue

Ah - yes - that was it (didn't think I was imagining things).
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estranged Core Developer Gavin Andresen Finally Makes Sensible 2MB BIP Proposal! on: January 30, 2016, 06:00:24 AM
Nope.  Never did.

Okay - but your sig support for Classic is duly noted.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estranged Core Developer Gavin Andresen Finally Makes Sensible 2MB BIP Proposal! on: January 30, 2016, 05:49:57 AM
Funny - didn't your sig used to say "I support XT"?

Wonder what it is going to say next week?

Why not just change it to say "I support whatever 2MB project Gavin is pushing this week" just to be on the safe side? Wink
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 04:58:29 AM
Without a doubt if they raise it to 2MB now then next year we'll be having the exact same stupid arguments about 4MB.

From the perspective of day-trading this is actually very good (no day-trader wants the price to be stable) but from the perspective of Bitcoin changing the world the roller-coaster ride has to become smoother.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 30, 2016, 04:15:39 AM
Maybe what should be done (politically) is to give Gavin some sort of "title" (but not actual control) such as "Esteemed Core Developer".

This way he can get back to contributing to the core and stop jumping on every new project that is trying to wrest control from the core developers.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a team and is what not a team. on: January 29, 2016, 06:19:01 PM
All this egomaniac discussions are pointless IMHO. we should be discussing how to solve the 2mb block issue, not who's better fitted to be among the " CORE"

There simply is no 2MB block issue - so your post just shows you don't very much (but don't worry as you are part of the majority of people that don't know very much who seem to think that they should control this project).

971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is a team and what is not a team. on: January 29, 2016, 06:12:43 PM
So with all of this stupid debate about trying to replace the Core Devs with whatever thing Gavin wants to associate himself with this week (as we all know he might change allegiance next week).

Can we just instead have a team that works?

(oh - yes - we have one - but Gavin is not happy because he left and thinks that he should still be in control after he left)
972  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 06:03:54 PM
Lol conflating btc with usd. Fucking retard.

Calling someone names doesn't make you look very good "asswipe" Cheesy
973  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 06:02:17 PM

Start with the arguments. Only then will you gain my respect.

Fact 1: r/btc is censored

 https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/

So what has that to with this forum?

(I was being accused of being off-topic but I think that this is far more so)
974  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:46:36 PM
3. I did that only because you watered down the topic again using your offtopic tactics.

Stop with the nonsense please - if you want to properly debate something then let's do it.
975  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:43:59 PM
So you just keep repeating your original post.

That shows that you have no interest in actually debating a single thing but instead want to just insert your opinion.

(you'll notice that I don't do that)
976  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:39:22 PM
Mine is a joke, because that point is so ridiculous.

Then why not actually contribute something of some worth?
977  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:36:45 PM
You know you are probably hated in the poor world where they have no [insert currency of your choice] to buy internet?  Are you proud of the fact that you make poor people feel sick by using the internet and having internet access?

Well - actually that is exactly where I pointed out that you are.
978  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:35:18 PM
Please stop putting words in my mouth.  I never said BTC was Visa, nor did I say it was Paypal.  I also don't think I am "wasting" BTC on my purchases.

Every single bit I spend I buy back, immediately, to replenish my stock.  I spend Bitcoin to support the network (there would be no miners if there were no transactions to confirm) and because sometimes you get great deals, like Purse.io.

What you're saying makes no sense.

Do you really understand what Bitcoin is?

(clue - it is not a new payment system)
979  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:33:26 PM
So basically, by saying that "Bitcoin shouldn't be used for normal transactions" you are actually saying that all of these companies should go out of business. (because Bitcoin shouldn't be used for buying coffee or some other ridiculous thing).

Why is it that you want to keep putting "words into my mouth" which I don't do to you?

A basic standard of respect is not doing that.

So I am simply going to not respond to you now as you can't even manage a basic level of respect (you have to shove words into my mouth to make your points).
980  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 29, 2016, 05:31:13 PM
What kind of argument is that?  I'm a teacher, I make less than 33k a year.  I am hardly rich by my countries standards (I qualify for social assistance for the love of god).  I buy my BTC through multiple sources.  I also participate on Purse.io so that I actually DO help people in areas who can't buy BTC like me get BTC for rates cheaper than Localbitcoins.com.

If I concerned myself with every purchase I make, and how that would make someone who can't afford it feel, life wouldn't even be worth living.  I don't reprimand people who make more money than me for buying a nicer car than I can afford... what?

If you really want to waste your BTC on coffee then that is up to you.

But it you really think that Bitcoin is more than just a PayPal replacement why on earth would you do that?
