Like circa 1980 Migs?
No. Like the Sukhoi PAK FA, which is 100 times better than your $1.45 trillion Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Americans still think that the Russians are stuck with Soviet-era weaponry, and there is your mistake. During the past 10-15 years, the Russian military technology got improved by a great deal, while the American one got stagnated. American military technology is 30 years ahead of released public knowledge. You also need to look at sheer numbers of these equipment. Russia has the best tank force and more nukes. That's all. The US has air and sea superiority. Bottom line is if they fight, we all lose. Ok, and you honestly think that russia for example is sleeping while DARPA is trying to invent something new.... Well, you are very likely to be disinformed about other nations capabilities my dear friend. If your statement would be true, why should i wait a single day if i am 30 years ahead of my oponent? You are not able to think logically Ad hominem attack? We know nothing of other nations capabilities because they don't do anything.

why USA do that?do you think they will win?
No one will be victorious in a war between two nuclear powers. And Russia is too large to be "conquered". I don't think that the Americans will be able to achieve what the Mongols, Napoleon, and the Nazis failed to achieve. To conquer all that territory, they might need 2 billion or 3 billion soldiers. And might need even more to hold on to those territories. Yup...real wars between USA, Russia, China, etc. are Civilization Enders...weapons are just too powerful.

if USA attack in RUSSIA, usa will fall piece by piece i think, the russian technology its 1000% more updated than the americans , its like to fight king kong(russia) vs monkey(usa) i dont say that usa he has low weapons and technology but russia its the first power in the world.
You might want to have that crack habit checked. Russia has 1000% better technology? Uh yeah... Yes he is mistaken, 10k % better technology.. Like circa 1980 Migs?

I agree with the "outdated hardware" strategy. A lot of slower ASICs to stack up hash power. Your operational costs will be small, but initial capital matters.
Remember: 1) The facility needs to have the electrical infrastructure to handle potentially high load. i.e. a 15 amp breaker can only handle so much 2) Waste heat - be able to vent (or use) the waste heat. I was running four Antminer S4s and they heated 1200 sq feet in northern NY through the winter...it can be a bonus or a huge pain in the ass.

I've seen these on ebay - quite a few. Thehy just sell BTC at inflated prices. Although not a scam (usually), it's a price gouge.
I could sell .1 BTC for $50 and make ~$270 profit.

Bitcoin... backed up by nothing you cannot hold it, you cannot associate it with any tangible asset it is worthless code that can be changed on a whim...
This says it all about the OP. You can hold gold, but what is gold other than a great conductor? You can hold a USD paper bill, but what is it beyond the trust in a nation that has more debt than the world has money? How many countries have you seen fail and try to print their way out? Calling BTCers sheeple is so 180 degrees from true.

What a landslide today on the S5 hash, went as low as .00069 and been trading around 75-77 all week. Think its due to the S7 coming online or the next diff increase tomorrow which looks tame at 2-3%, lower then the last 2 increases. Sold most of my hash but thinking of getting back in at the 69-70 level and see where it goes over the next several days. But just trying to better understand todays slide and what the catalyst was. Any feedback from users that have been trading hash for a while would be appreciated.
Thanks,
I thought it would bottom at ~.00075, but guess not - I was buying still at .00077. My hope is that the S7s will bring up total pool hash and S5 will be the choice of hash power when people see how much S7 costs...for now, I hold.

The killer app is the wallet. Putting an interface between fiat and BTC just feeds the thought process that 1 BTC == $x.00 USD - just a commodity.
The POS (point of sale) is the killer app; use BTC like you would paper bills, coins, credit cards. It's got to be a currency to succeed, not a function /conversion of a fiat currency.
I'm not into bitcoin to get rich (if I do, all the better), but to make an attempt to overtake government-issued currency. If they control your money, they control you. The "land of the free..." is the biggest load of shit ever.

Dammit, I want one. Has anyone run ROI through a calculator based on ~$.10kWH?
I can go do it, but if someone has it off the top of their head...

Under 7KW is nothing. You will go over that plan with ease especially if this is also where you live.
I have about 68KW of miners at my house and I typically spike the power to 82KW.
I would plan on a 20KW to 100KW plan and if you can not get to 20KW rent some power out to host miners.
I had no illusions of grandeur with that kind of plan. Just a couple of newer miners if/when they make sense. The link has the larger commercial/industrial rates though.

I'll just leave this here: If the countries on the left fight each other, the game is over. It would be Armageddon.

I have to call these guys to see what I'm looking at for fees & taxes under Plan 1 (below). Whatever this "PPAC" sort of leaves this a mystery right now. Thoughts? http://www.massenaelectric.com/businesscustomer/nonresidentialrates.htm Commercial without Demand (small general service - Demand under 7kW) Customer Charge $5.00 Energy Charge ($/kWh)$ 0.04309 Purchased Power Adjustment Charge (PPAC) fluctuates Sales Tax 7.25%

We are happy to announce our referral system.
Here are the rules: 1.When a player registers with your reference link, you will earn 3% Ghs power of that player from their purchases from the "Shop" unless they keep the miners in the account's inventory. 2.Miners that have been purchased from "Trade" does not count for the reference system 3.You can be reference for unlimited number of new registers 4.Reference system is valid for only miners. Employee (engineers, technicians), cooling units and power supplies does not count for the references.
That's great news! Referral system will bring more users to the game! But I suggest to change the Ghs. You can make it btc. Because how will others manage those refferal ghs'es? Because btc is an unknown quantity over time. GHS is known.

Electricity cost -0.00001920฿ Maintenance cost -0.00002540฿ 2540+1920=4460 sat 10 GH mining not worth it pays 6000 sat a day and cost is 4500 sat a day so left with dust only and minimum withdraw is 50,000 sat it's a game. And it's an investor based game. No deposit no profit. Free 10 Gh/s will show you only how the system works, it's not for profit. At first, I was a bit skeptical about this because I figured that the owner would lose funds because of the free 10 GH/s that was given out to so many people, but I've had an account running the 10 GH/s for a week and a half (I forgot about it after creation lol), I've now gotten 0.001 BTC. So I now understand how he makes the money. Regardless, I love it when people complain about how a "free" activity isn't making them money. It's a fun game, you won't get rich, if you don't like it then don't play.

I got a free 10 Ghs miner when I registered. Yesterday I bought another 10 Ghs miner from the trade section for 0.01 BTC (91.1% health). The miner I bought yesterday is missing.
Contact MinerFarm and see what their response is. Mining power can decrease over time, but the day after would be a bit soon IMO. I know mining power does decrease daily, but from 91.1% to gone in a single day Check the room temperature, for the highest efficiency of mining devices, system rooms should be between 10-28 Celcius degrees. In order to maintain the optimal heat you should use cooling units. Since the time I bought my first 20 GHs miner, the room temperature has been 18 degrees. Yesterday it was the same. I have 3 air conditioners. You are saying that my 10 Ghs miner with 91% health vanished in a single day because the room temperature was 18 degrees Please recheck your account now. Now I have 70 Ghs, but still the 10 Ghs miner is missing, instead of that you refilled the health of my existing miners to 100%. That is fine, hope miners will not go missing in future You had three AC units for 80 GH/s hash? What was your inventory? The first 10 GH/s, an additional 10 GH/s and three 20 GH/s miners? Just curious because I run more than that with one AC unit.
