41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: December 10, 2023, 11:27:44 PM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?

For the most part just keep them away from the conversations.  If it's within your own family just tell them to talk about gambling away from your kids.  And yeah if gambling is a heavy part of your family's culture it can definitely get them turned onto gambling themselves.  It's hard either way because of how much kids are exposed to everything because of the internet.
These days kids are more observing and easily grabs what we're discussing. As suggested having these kind of conversations away from kids is really good. Fantasy leagues have been more popular in my country and some people are lucky to win whereas the majority just spend like they're buying a lottery ticket. Surely young generation will follow the footprints, and they're much aware of these applications as they're openly promoted on televisions.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: December 09, 2023, 11:59:39 PM
I was addicted and slowly I've come out of it. I've shared my story of losing big in gambling Be a Responsible Gambler. During those days I know I was losing, but I don't have control and lost big. Even today I was running hard for what I've lost, only then I can able to settle the debts and come out of financial issues.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 09, 2023, 11:59:12 PM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling.
Of course there is always a behavioral effects at everyone gamblers if it is not proven in a displacement then it is one of the facial expressions.
There is always joy in the heart that sometimes not easy enough to hold within and must just have to express it out even til across your endings as long you still holdings your winning. There is said to be tendencies of cheerful giveaway out of excessive excitement but sometimes it depends how much won at when considering if there had been previous lost or not.
But If it was a lost, then everyone becomes a bridge to your progress and then, there is really no called of tolerating and joking around because you are feeling depressed and losts in your gambling. You just have to get pissed on everyone who fails to understand your state of being and wouldn't care if anyone knows about your emotions.
However, there is always that transagression of anger at when lost and that sharing of excitements at when won.
Dependently on the gamblers ability to control its emotions.
We often forget the delicate line between excitement and sadness when we play gambling. Winning makes us happy; its natural. Gamblers often lash out in frustration when losses pile up. Isnt it ironic how rapidly gambling feelings change? You can be on top of the world and in despair in an instant.

This emotional rollercoaster emphasizes gambling self-control. Not how much you win or lose, but how you handle it. Responsible gambling is a mindset, not a buzzword. Gambling is amusement, not life. The ultimate win in gambling is staying calm and not letting wins or losses affect you. How you play your cards is just as important as the cards you're dealt.

unfortunately, most degens don't have that kind of self-control. this is why they got to the degen stage. if you are a player and would want to stay within your limits, then better be do some reality check about your financials. frequent assessment of yourself in front of your games would be a very good activity to check on yourself.
Regular financial assessment as well as making self analysis about our gambling activities is really good way to be on the safer side and overcome the gambling addiction. When we make financial plans we'll know the limits on spending. Regularly trying to stay within our limits will make a change within our gambling activity.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Women's Cricket Prediction & Discussion - T20 & ODI on: December 08, 2023, 11:59:44 PM
The second T20I match between India Women and England Women will be played tomorrow at the Wankhede. The first match ended in a rout for the Indian women and they need to quickly recover from it. In order to salvage the series, they need to win both the remaining matches. And a series defeat at home would be humiliating for the Indian women, especially after all the progress that was achieved over the years. Anyway, the good news for India is that their strike bowler Renuka Singh Thakur is back in form. She picked up 3 wickets in the first match.
I believe India could make a comeback in the second T20. In the first T20 England got two players Wyatt and Sciver-Brunt scoring 70+ runs. For India strong scoring came from Verma 52 runs. Few more players should've contributed big runs. Also 197 runs isn't easy to chase. India reached 159/6, and this time India might bat first trying to set good target whereas in the first T20 India women won the toss and decided to bowl.
45  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Binance exchange delisting the crytop currencies and the sport trade pairs on: December 07, 2023, 11:41:28 PM
Binance had notified users regarding the delisting. Same time the BUSD is getting conversion to FUSD. It looks like kind of marketing plans and I'm not sure of it. Lets wait and see as they've provided detailed schedule on delisting of trading pairs along with BUSD as well as requested users to convert to other assets or it gets automatically converted to FUSD on 1:1 ratio after the specified time period.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to sell a computer to raise money to invest in Bitcoin. on: December 07, 2023, 11:17:19 PM
With the computer costing $600 he could earn the same money in a month or within few months time. All that required is the development of skills. He need to find the right choice of his interest and learn it. We're in the advanced world where each and everything is connected. Computers play a big role. His plan to invest on bitcoin is good, but he needs to think twice before selling the computer as it helps in learning more. Also the guy is very young and he can explore more things.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling FOMO like I am? on: December 05, 2023, 09:28:17 PM
I don't feel the fear of missing out the opportunity, because during the year end the price used to bounce and this time it is happening at the right moment. Most of the time close to the days of Christmas we experience major price rise. Start of the year itself there is good push in the market. $44k+ price from the range of $26k is a big bounce in short term. This can cross $50k with few corrections interrupting in between. Crossing $50k the growth will be in much faster way than the current movement.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 05, 2023, 09:20:26 PM
I don't know how many of them stick to the resolution taken for the year. In my view people who have the mind to stick to it were successful. A resolution is something that needs self control as well as makes us to be dedicated on something else. Every year gambling is included to the resolution, but the outcome of the resolution used to be the same every year. Mind says just wager few dollars that has been provided as bonus or for some reason. Further it might get lost and the gambling for the year continues.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Women's Cricket Prediction & Discussion - T20 & ODI on: December 05, 2023, 09:21:53 AM
Pakistan Women's team won the match in a a comfortable manner chasing the target of 127 runs. The important thing, Pakistan Women have won in the home ground of New Zealand, which used to have completely different pitch conditions. Within an hour the second T20 match gonna start between New Zealand Women and Pakistan Women. The winning probability were in favour of New Zealand and they'll surely play better so to keep the chance of winning the three match series. Pakistan Women's on the other side want to win the series.

Winning the series against New Zealand can be considered as a big achievement for the Pakistani women. The state of women's cricket is not good there. Even the men's domestic tournaments are in disarray and the PCB doesn't give much importance to the women's game. They don't even have a proper first class competition for women. The PCB was supposed to start WPSL sometime this year, but now no one is talking about it. And also, once Ramiz Raja was replaced with Najam Sethi, the focus on women's cricket has declined within the PCB.
Even without the proper support from the board Pakistan Women's team had achieved big. Winning against New Zealand Women team isn't an easy thing. In the first T20 Pakistan women chased the target and in today's match they've defended and won the match. This could give some hope to the Pakistan Women team players and the PCB should give importance and help them progress better.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 10:42:42 PM
After all he's your friend. We don't know for what purpose he got the money. Maybe it can be for some good reason or for gambling, because he had assured of returning it after three hours. This looks like he had spent on a match and lost. Today you've got lucky/have analysed to pick the right odds in a multibet and you have won it, fortunately you weren't able to bet big money. In the same situation if you had spent that $10 and lost, then you'll be thinking he(friend) could've given back the money later. Just enjoy what you've won.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 04, 2023, 10:27:49 PM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.

I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?

This is not a total shutdown of mixers, they're only banned on Bitcointalk, so they'll still be in business because they're going to take their ads to somewhere else.

Most projects advertising their services on the forum are normally under public scrutiny to make sure that they're real and they deliver top notch services. This in a way gives users some kind of trust. With mixers ban on the forum, it might help to increase the activities of money laundering through casino as visitors may not be able to know some of the reputable mixers to use and may have to resort to casino. That being said, Casinos are registered and regulated businesses and as long they're regulatory compliant, I don't see them getting shutdown.

End of the day everything is business. Whether it is a gambling platform, mixer, or something else connected with cryptocurrency. The prime purpose is to make money out of it. It can be the owners who want profit and the customers who want things to be dealt in a secure way. Money laundering isn't new, it had been followed long back itself. Now the mixers gave an easy way and that had been well utilised by the launderers. As said the restriction in our forum is good, but people continue using it and I don't think much of them will jump to gambling platforms for the purpose of money laundering.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 10:17:34 PM
I have seen some facial expression gamblers that I am emotionally touched about and feels they have loosed more than they can handle and feels they deserves an condolence winning.

No body gives a gambler a consolidated winning no matter the losses they have encountered and that is why we have to face every gamble like it is suppose to, bet as you can afford and you can move on in peace if you lose. There is no friend in gambling, every stake is weighed according to what options that it is opened for.

That might be an area of improvement for online gambling casinos, don't you think? Give the gambler who just lost something small back, as a token of customer appreciation and I think it will help a lot, because some of the weight of the guilt from losing can be lifted from that poor gambler. Not all of it, of course. But a small portion will let him feel better than before.

Perhaps it does not even need to be of monetary nature.
Whats been mentioned last could make gamblers in loss to have a positive move. When one had lost in gambling, automatically they feel low. Particularly when they had gambled beyond their limits or gambled with the money that had been kept aside for something very important. In such situation someone to hear them is a consolation. When it comes to gambling we don't loss by intention, it is human nature wanting big. They never think of the consequences, later used to feel bad for their activities.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 11:59:55 PM
There are people who had made themselves millionaire through sports betting. For this one needs dedication and the learning. Above all one needs the patience, because when we start small and move slowly it takes time not everyone is lucky to make a multibet and enjoy the outcome successful. Everyone won't have the ability to make this precise prediction and what OP have achieved is really great and congratulations and what he had achieved.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 30, 2023, 11:59:28 PM
When you have the limits and you have control over your activities it is possible to make regular earning from gambling. From my experience as a gambler who tries to earn from gambling, it is really hard when your capital is small. When you've got atleast $1000 it is possible to make $10 regularly. Beyond that is kind of risk, so based on the capital will be our chance of regular earning.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 26, 2023, 05:08:47 PM
Tomorrow is not a normal day in cricket. This a such a sad day for Australia and in cricket history, 27 November 2014 is a really sad day for cricket because on this date Phillip Hughes passed away from this World due to the tricky bouncer of Sean Abbott. That was a harmful bouncer and Phillip Hughes can’t play it and passed away. This is a black day. He was 25 years old when he dead. He is the youngest player of Australia and he was such a great player but unluckily e can’t see him for a long time. Black Day. He was dead during the match.

It was definitely a depressing news and cricket fans will never forget it. It is certainly a sad day for a great player to pass away in such a manner at such a young age. Australian players handle the short pitch ball well, as the wickets there are fast and bouncy. That's why, when the short ball was delivered, Phillip Hughes turned around, and tried to hit the pull, but spun first and the ball came later.

As a result, the ball hit his neck and ruptured a jugular vein, causing all the blood to go to the brain, and he died. Short-pitched balls have always been Phillip Hughes weakness. However, it is being said that the helmet he was wearing in this whole case was not a good quality helmet.
In recent years it was the only incident that happened in cricket, and none have thought his life will end. Unlucky, and it is a reminder for every player to prioritise the safety and then get into the pitch. Poor quality helmet as a reason, and in the recent world cup match we were able to see a historical wicket of Angelo Mathews that happened out of his poor helmet straps which got broken.

Phillip Hughes is remembered forever, and if he was alive he could've been one among the leading players for Australia. At the very young age he performed really well. When he was just 20 years of age scored his first century. Australia missed an able player.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy with unusual/strange gambling sites on: November 26, 2023, 04:38:48 PM
Think before going for big deposit. Try to analyse and find if the platform have got anything better than the list of trusted gambling platforms. If so, going for it is fair. If not it is kind of risking your money. The competence is high and so marketing is done through all possible ways. We can't directly term the platform as fishy, but according to me trusted platforms were the one promoted through our forum. I haven't encountered any problem using different gambling sites promoted through our forum.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 26, 2023, 04:29:00 PM
One won't directly get into gambling out of loneliness. If he had the practice of gambling earlier, then he gets directed into it whenever he feels lonely. I personally experienced it and I've lost much out of it. Being lonely after his wife had left, it surely makes him frustrated. By the time he should keep himself active on something. In most of the motivational videos after breakup, I've seen the guy focusing on building his career or his body workout. This is the right thinking, when we get into gambling we'll enjoy the win at the beginning days. The same won't last longer and this easily ends into addiction and makes the person lazy and never lets him think beyond gambling.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 26, 2023, 04:22:13 PM

India set a target of 235 runs in loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Top 3 bastmen scored fifty runs Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 53 runs in just 25 balls, Ruturaj Gaikwad also scored 58 runs in 43 balls and ishan Kishan batting performance is outstanding scored 52 runs in just 32 balls. Rinku singh also batting well at last scored 31 runs in just 9 balls with help of 4 fours and 2 sixs and reached the india total to 230 runs plus against Australia. From Australia Nathan Ellis bowl well picked 3 important wicktes by giving 45 runs in 4 overs. Australia current score is 47 runs in loss of wickets in 5 over they needed 189 runs in 90 balls to win this match.

A target of 235 runs is a big target in T20 and it will not be easy to achieve. Such a big target often benefits the bowlers and the batsmen are under pressure to play big short from the start. Openers can suffer when a high run rate is required. Australia's opening batsmen were soon out due to the this pressure.

Glenn Maxwell getting out I think is a big loss for the Australian team,  because in the T20 format, he is a player who, if he stays at the crease even for a few overs, can cause problems for the opposing team. However, now Smith's wicket has also fallen on 58 runs, which definitely seems to be Australia's defeat. Now Australia need 173 runs from 73 balls and this is very tough target I think India will win this match easily.
More 10 overs left and Australia need another 132 runs with 6 wickets remaining during the drinks break. Stoinis 22*(12) and David 22*(11) in good form building partnership could pressure the Indian bowlers. For now India is on the winning side, yet we can't be conclusive as T20 matches can turn at any point. It looks like India T20 team is performing better after the World Cup loss.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Carreer skill benefit of gambling on: November 26, 2023, 04:17:15 PM
Professional way of critical thinking and what gamblers does in gambling have got difference. Gamblers look for a way to overcome the loss, which is to try the strategies and simple tricks. Not everyone succeed, only the luckiest succeed whereas the majority end up losing. In professional manner of critical thinking it needs to give effective outcome of atleast 80% success.

When it comes to socializing most of the gamblers feel isolated because they weren't able to be successful as the fellow gamblers. Through gambling many things can be learnt, but how good it helps with our life is still a question. It turns effective when people consider gambling as a means of entertainment and not as a source of income.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 25, 2023, 11:59:12 PM
A team can consistently win games but sometimes they lose the game due to their luck and disruption in their preparation, sudden exit of a good player can have many reasons to lose a match like India lost the final match. It's true that India played well, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll win. Australia is known as a good hall in cricket and on that day Australia prepared very well and were able to bat well with it so they came to the final match and won. And if they were not a good team, they would not have qualified for the final match.  So there is not much surprise for Australia to win
It may actually seem unusual to many that a team goes from being unbeaten to losing in the finals. But I will also tell you that Australia as a team is not much less strong than India. When Australia won against South Africa many thought that Australia would win the final match.  Maybe it would have been different if another team like South Africa lined up against India in the final. Because Australia team has always been seen as a strong team against India.  And we saw the result of this in the final. The T20 series between Australia and India has started with India narrowly winning the first match and with four matches to go we now turn our eyes to the T20.
Australia is stronger than India. The real cricket is test match, then it is ODI and last it is T20. India being the host nation had the advantage and able to win all the matches. If these matches were played away from home, surely India could've suffered. Few players it is exceptional, in all conditions they'll contribute and does things in a responsible way. Remaining we can't believe whereas with Australia scenario is different. Till the last order we can expect the player to give the confident performance which lacks with Indian players. Just to stand wicket Indian players keeps eating balls whereas the Australian batsmen doesn't do it.
