1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: right time to buy eth? on: September 01, 2018, 11:39:15 PM
I personally buy ethereum at this point as much as I can since the price is cheap compared to the price in recently years which is about $1.3k. People predict that it will go up in a few months. Some people said that they have sold their ethereum and change to its alternative such an EOS and NEO it makes me so confused since between those coins are competing with each other to prove which is the best smart contract platform.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 01, 2018, 11:30:33 PM
The thing that I don't like about the ripple, it's centralized and controlled by the bank, and for this reason, I choose ethereum rather than ripple, XRP might be good either cheaper and faster but as an investment I'll go with ethereum. Additionally, ethereum always give me profit and from what I've seen people keep buying it because of it so popular and used widely as a smart contract platform.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest and most reliable altcoin? on: September 01, 2018, 11:15:59 PM
What for you is the safest and most reliable altcoin that any beginners of cryptocurrency can buy and invest in to? Because bitcoin is unpredictable I wonder if I can start buying altcoins instead, however, I do not want to buy an altcoin that will just be a waste of money. Any ideas?
one thing that you have to know, investing money in crypto is totally risky since the market is very speculative you should be prepared if you lose your entire investment if you're not ready for this you might find another alternative such a traditional investment like property or gold. I'm just advising you to invest in the top 15 coin on the coinmarketcap you only need to make your own research before investing your money.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to ETH ? on: September 01, 2018, 01:41:27 PM
I just want to tell you that currently there are already 17,243,687 bitcoins in the circulation meaning that still remain 3,756,313 bitcoins that will be mined since there are only 21 Million bitcoins in this world, and in the future people will hard to own even a single one because the amount of available bitcoin will decrease over the years and this is called as deflation. What I'm trying to point out before you buy the altcoin make sure that you already have some bitcoins it will be good if you have a whole one since probably bitcoin's price will be skyrocket.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: September 01, 2018, 01:01:12 PM
Bitcoin is just too expensive if you want to buy them as a whole, however, you can buy them in a fraction though. IMO collecting crypto is better if you can buy them as a whole, not in a fraction you can get a lot of profit by doing so. There are so many altcoins out there which cheaper than bitcoin and those coins probably gonna cost more in the future than they do now, well all you can do for now just make your own research predicting is that coin will give you some benefits in the future or not ?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keys point you look in ICOs before investing or supporting. on: August 31, 2018, 11:52:39 PM
First of all I have to check the team behind the project is real or not by checking they LinkedIn profile or any social media and after that checking the team whether they are having a good programmer or any blockchain expertise. Learn their whitepaper I think it's very important, in whitepaper all information about the project is available there. and the idea of the project and the roadmap also, the community behind the project also plays an important role here.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too manu alts? on: August 31, 2018, 11:40:27 PM
Sometimes it's very confusing, there are lots of coins out there, but if you can see each coin has different functions and features. for example as a smart contract, payment method, storage purpose etc. but what I'm concerned about is that there are too many duplicate coins, where the difference between the original and the duplicate is just a little. Anyway there is a typo in the title you should edit it asap.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You looking for in ICO? on: August 31, 2018, 11:24:24 PM
Nowadays it is hard to find the best ICO, but if you ask me then everything that NXT and LISK own, like has a clear purpose, great team and community, popularity, etc. I participated in their ICO just for your information about their ROI, as for LISK is about 6414% while NXT is 598054% which is crazy, I'm surprised that some people are being a millionaire by participating in this ICO, but now too much failed and scam project.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin vs Tokens on: August 31, 2018, 11:14:30 PM
The difference between coin and token is very clear as op described above, somehow it's quite confusing that people called coin as a token or token as a coin, You can find them even in the crypto related site which is bad, coin has their own platform and operates independently while token is not, it requires another platform such as ethereum to exist, people have to know the difference between these two things.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good ICO? on: August 31, 2018, 10:56:33 PM
Icobench and other trackers show a low rating. The hard cap is incredible = 35 000 000 GBP. They will not reach it.

Also, I am not sure did they get SOFT cap 3 500 000 GBP (on June 5th 2018)?
Yes, the softcap is just too high, according to this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3379079.860 since I didn't find any information on their site, they have sold 1 255 972 tokens where 1 token equals to 0.5 GBP meaning that they have collected 627 986 GBP. I don't know but I just feel like that this ICO isn't quite popular that's why it's not getting enough participant to reach the soft cap.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-exchange without any fee - Is this Interesting? on: August 30, 2018, 11:51:29 PM
Well, I don't think that people will not interested in the exchange without any fee, as people have mentioned above liquidity is very important here rather than a low fee. For this reason, I think you have to find a better strategy to make your service on top, you have to find something unique that other exchange doesn't have. Don't forget to run a campaign or referral competition, it will attract more people to join your site.
12  Other / Archival / Re: Future of crypto is good or bad? on: August 30, 2018, 11:36:03 PM
I want to invest my savings into cryptocurrency. So I am thinking about the future of cryptocurrency. What do you think? Do you think the future or cryptocurrency is good? Or do you think, the future or cryptocurrency is bad?
Please help me, because I am going to invest all of my savings. So if I make a bad decision me and my family will be on the street.
I highly don't recommend you to invest all your savings into the crypto, it's not about this industry has a good or bad future but it's about how risky it is. One thing that you have to know before investing your money into the crypto that the market is very volatile and speculative, you can lose your entire investment even just in one night so you might prepare for that, I think you have to find safer investment for example gold or property you may invest in crypto but I'm just advising you to invest maybe 50% of them while the rest go find safer one.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good projects should start on: August 30, 2018, 11:22:57 PM
All the things that you've just mentioned above are the way to make the project success, the project won't going well without support from the community. If the project allocate big capital for promotion purpose then more people will buy their coin. But this isn't a must some project which succedd not held ICO as well as not held bounty campaign since they have raised fund in the private sale, I think it depends how the team make their own strategy.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alternative that rivals the ETH on: August 30, 2018, 11:04:24 PM
There are so many ethereums competitors out there, let's say NEO, EOS, Waves etc. As long as the competitor has the best feature than ethereum then it can surpass the ethereum. This topic has been discussed so many times here and people always mentioned that EOS or NEO will surpass the ethereum, I'm holding ethereum for long-term and a little bit worried if the community will leave it and use another platform.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO price and Listing price on: August 30, 2018, 10:53:33 PM
I don't think bounty hunters have power here since the coin that they got is a just small percent from the supply comparing to the coin that the investor bought, usually less than 10 %. Once a coin launched, the team don't have any control to manipulate the price, the Investor has control over their money they can do whatever they want whether to sell or not, early investor usually doing a sell in the beginning.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be to the online World what Dollar is to the World economy. on: August 29, 2018, 11:42:50 PM
The reason why bitcoin still exist along with its competitor which better than it whether faster or cheaper. I think due to bitcoin is the first crypto and people more trust on it. On the other hand, not all people here use bitcoin as a payment option but as an investment tool. I personally use altcoin for purchasing something, bitcoin's fee is just too high I'm holding them like a gold.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are becoming like mining on: August 29, 2018, 11:34:51 PM
It seems like bounties are becoming more and more like mining each day.  Simply not profitable.  The amount of dollars you earn vs the total amount of time you spend completing the tasks is less than minimum wage.  Are you guys moving over to trading or are you sticking it out hoping for better days?

Good comparison. People will make a thread like " Is Bounty Still Profitable?" similar to "Is Mining Still Profitable".
Well for now it's hard to earn from bounty since 80% projects is scam or failed. Have some useless coin on my wallet and don't know what to do with them, I think we have to change people mind to work only if you get paid with the coin that available in the market not a coin from the project itself.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the Future Holds to Crypto on: August 29, 2018, 11:26:00 PM
Basically, we can not predict the future but as we can see more and more people interested in crypto meaning that this industry is promising and maybe have a bright future, well the problem is regulation of the government. They see that bitcoin and crypto is a big threat for them, and this is what I scared this industry will vanish by them, on the other hand, I don't see many merchants accept crypto as a payment method, it means that most people use it as Investment tool, so I might say its future could be like a gold of internet.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risk of scam ICOs is more during Bull phase on: August 29, 2018, 11:12:50 PM
people will invest their money without doing research first since they don't want to lose that opportunity, this hype market is used by some projects to catch the Investors to buy their scam token. I think as an investor we must be aware of that situation and not take rash actions, make your own research before investing in a coin or project. I can't believe there is a service for creating a coin less than $100.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are you still using MEW? on: August 26, 2018, 11:36:15 PM
I'm still using MEW as I consider it one of the safest wallets out there. It's true some of its developers left to start mycrypto project. But that doesn't mean MEW is now an abandoned project. Just ensure you prioritize your safety by ensuring you don't enter your private keys on a phishing site.
Technically MEW is just an interface for creating your wallet, and I think you've misunderstood that MEW is the safest since it's very risky moreover if you access the wallet using your private key. The safest wallet is where you can access them without giving your private key or store them offline, the hardware wallet for example. MEW itself not recommend people to use private key as a method of login, since their site always got attacked yeah it's better safe than sorry, just a friendly advice.
