501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: July 27, 2016, 08:15:39 PM
Many people would have saved a lot of money who have lost while gambling.  I do not believe that bitcoin would have become as successful as it has become if it were not for the gambling industry. Since people sit at home and gamble with their btc.
I'm not ready to agree with you. Only the gambling industry has benefited more by adopting the payment system of bitcoins. Because, many of features of bitcoin ecosystem are wonderfully fitting into gambling industry. If gambling is not existing, there is no harm for the growth of bitcoin ecosystem obviously.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: July 27, 2016, 06:17:16 PM
I think the dice is a game of luck, but it probably will be very good if you use strategy when playing. Well, it's probably not the strategy but the kind predicted. you have to estimate what your bet will win, because if you do it by random, it would be very boring, but win or not depends on the luck you have. better not to use bitcoin in volumes that much if you play
IMO, in the game of luck, there will be no chances for any working strategies to play with that to get profits from it. So, concentrating on developing any strategy to get profits from dice gambling must be waste of time and effort. When you want to kill your time, dice gambling must be a best choice by testing your luck.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 27, 2016, 05:52:22 PM
Investing in any newly launched site is more risky than gambling. There are some online gambling sites which are well known and well reputed and are in need to increase their bankrolls to provide more bigger prizes and opportunities by extending features. If you succeed to get one of those site then go ahead with confidence to incest money. Otherwise investing in gambling casinos could be more worse and easy to loose money.
Yes, investing into a new site is the equivalent of throwing out your money. We must go for investing into a bitcoin casinos only after studying many reviews about them in order to take the decision of investing there or not. I believe we can get enough information about the credibility of a gambling site from this forum itself.
Yes, in order to decide about your investment into a gambling house, just this forum is more than enough to get all your required information. But we need to have our own responsibility for how long a gambling site will be maintaining their reputation unlike some cloud mining sites now a days.
504  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2016, 04:11:40 PM
Plan to get rich with bitcoin, for my opinios. Spare your money to bitcoin then hold it cause bitcoin will be rising price and make bitcoin grow, so there you can gets some rich or goal. Waiting for yours day and this be happens.
Your suggestion shows how much you are confident about bitcoin ecosystem to hit some big values. From the past records of bitcoin value appreciation, anyone will have such a plan to become rich with the big bitcoin hoarding. Because, it is simple to save all your extra money into bitcoin and holding them for some long period.
Do not underestimate holding bitcoins as a simple task. You have to challenge your greediness when bitcoin is goes higher value in upcoming days, for example $800 or $1000 or $1200 price levels. Many early adopters had failed to win that challenge and sold their bitcoins just due to the fact of not fully aware of how big bitcoin value probably would go.
Yes, having a plan based on the bitcoin's potential must be a practical one. When bitcoin goes to big value, all the bitcoin holders will become rich. So a simple plan, any bitcoiner would prefer to have is saving bitcoins for some long period. But your "long period" will be decided by the amount of bitcoins you're holding and what is your definition of rich.
505  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 26, 2016, 08:39:27 PM
Like many people here I also started to get bitcoins through faucets. After a year of hard work with the many faucets, I came into this forum and joining signature campaign now I am making some good amount of bitcoins with my campaign. Signature campaign is the best way to get bitcoins in decent amount for efforts we are putting in.
506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk banned this post two times on: July 26, 2016, 08:05:40 PM
people have reported before that Coindesk censors the comments on their site. so this is nothing strange in my opinion. they may be protecting some interest of their own by blocking anything remotely negative about anything they don't like!

One of the first giveaways of a scam or something being hidden is the lack of negative comments. Every company no matter how good has negative comments it is very suspicious when there are no complaints. I would never trust any company that has no complaints it just doesn't add up. A complaint is not going to make me less likely to follow buy or invest in something.
The same goes for bitcointalk as well where they do allow criticism but not bashing. It's only third-party websites that allow you to post negative comments about a website/company/brand as they are neutral while coindesk moderates our comments and decides to approve/reject it.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 26, 2016, 04:42:13 PM
Gambling is wrong when you always lost but you always try to win and lost again. don't do it as addiction, dont put your money you don't want to lose by gambling ,and dont do gambling as a job because there's no sure profit in it.
Gambling itself is not wrong. The person who abuses himself in gambling is the one who is to be blamed for being wrong since gambling should only be considered as a hobby wherein the player should be disciplined enough that he would not give in to addiction.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: July 26, 2016, 04:22:53 PM
I am sure that kida are most time gambling in real life.My friends under 18 years gamble in real life casinos, real life machines, but they more bet online but they also bet in real life.
I think when you want to gamble at the casino offline. a guard or security guard will ask your age if you look young. maybe you will need some of proving such as ID cards. because the rules that gambling should have a lifespan of over 18 years. I do not really care if you have a lifespan of 18 years and play at online gambling

apparently you have never heard about fake IDs Cheesy
but yeah all of these places have age restrictions and check for ID but that is only because they will get into trouble if they don't check. and since online gambling especially with bitcoin is not regulated yet so they don't have these rules and in fact they don't care how old you are as long as you play there.
They only check IDs if you actually look young. But if you look professional and old enough, they wouldn't even bother to check your ID. I've had some personal experience because I was able to get in a casino when I was still 17. I never really did made any profit from gambling. I only got out of the place with the same amount of money as I went in.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: July 26, 2016, 03:43:29 PM
Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.

there are few guys that won a lot because of their luck, but there are much more people that lost everything, i think that only silly people gambles because everyone loses

but it is also possible to make some profit from gambling, it is not always losing. you just have to know how much to risk and how much you can lose before you end up with nothing.

if you design your strategy based on these things you can make a profit from gambling. also there are some games like poker or betting on sports that need skills, so if you are a professional poker player you can indeed make profit.
Winning from gambling is only an 'extra'. The real reward for gambling is supposedly the entertainment that you get from playing. That is if you played good and enjoyed it very well.
Most gambling games are designed that way, for you to lose the game but enjoy the adrenaline that you have felt from it. Having to win from the game is just a bait to get you to spend more.
510  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Free Lance For Bitcoin on: July 25, 2016, 06:12:06 PM
Coinality, xbitfreelancer have already been mentioned so I'm just going to be adding in this one here.

https://www.cryptogrind.com/
I have no personal experience from this site but I'm pretty sure this one is a reputable site, since it's been featured in an article from bitcoin.com
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 25, 2016, 04:36:42 PM
I live in Lithuania and there are some places where bitcoin accepted, but mostly of it in capital city. There are some restaurants which accepts bitcoin, few taxi companies accepts bitcoins. Also it's possible to pay with bitcoin for some flight tickets. And also heard that one barbershop accepts bitcoins.

You are the lucky one, in my country i can't even try to use my bitcoins because it's illegal here, maybe in future our goverment will change their mind Angry
Well, I can say that bitcoin in my country are not fully legal. Central bank says bitcoin is not a currency and recommend to stay away from it.
Maybe the central bank just worried if bitcoin will accepted in your country . Worried about if people loose the trust to use bank. But actually it will not be a problem if their work with each other.
Our central bank here is kind of stopping any bitcoin mass media attention currently because they are thinking of ways to properly publicize it. They are not stopping it, in fact they are preparing to officially fully accept bitcoins as one of the currencies as per many reliable spying resources.
512  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 25, 2016, 04:07:53 PM
I will never prefer to get my salary in bitcon as it can be very risky if price falls to extreme level in future then it will give me less payments.
You are just talking about the one side of bitcoin price fluctuations. Like many people here, I'm too buying some bitcoins every month for the purpose of getting benefits when bitcoin prices are reaching some good price levels. So, directly getting bitcoins as a salary would eliminate my hassles of buying it regularly.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: July 24, 2016, 07:44:35 PM
Gambling produces poor people because you will never see a rich person who gambled and became rich. We can include even lotteries in gambling category where 99% winners of big amounts lost money in gambling in first 6 months. Gambling has one way traffic to disaster to lead to towards poorness.
If you consider lotteries are gambling, then there might be some people who won big amounts in lotteries are rich people are right now. Those who bought lotteries and lost need not to be poorer because they invested very little amount in lotteries.

Unlike lottery, we do not have chances to win big in other gambling, but it's a dream of every gamblers to get their richness by gambling. But the dream remains dream for ever for most  (almost for all gamblers? ) of the gamblers here.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 24, 2016, 07:10:21 PM
Well, alcoholism is considered a sickness, so I could agree with this. But just as with drinking alcohol, if you don't let it consume your life(some of us have that type of control, surprising, which is probably why it's legal), then it's okay.

Just because I gamble, doesn't mean I'm sick, but I'm not betting my life away either.
But many gamblers bet their life's earning in gambling and got their life sicked thereafter. That is the reason we are spreading out the awareness how gambling could spoil your life similar to a disease. Gambling is more dangerous than alcoholism or any other bad habits. Because, it would spoil you and your family happiness. That is the reason sometimes we do call gambling as a social sickness.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many BTC do you gamble with? on: July 24, 2016, 04:40:00 PM
It depends on how much I earn per day. I take about 20% of my earnings which I approx 0.03-0.05 per week and I gamble that amount for high odds that give me usually good results. I also don't bet the entire amount and break it up into 0.001 BTC per bet. I don't take high risks and hence the amounts are too small and affordable to lose.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 23, 2016, 09:54:07 AM
The fact the the people who are addicted to gambling think that they can win again that is what keeps making them come back.
People who think that need to know should stop it.
It's hard for an addicted gambler to stop coming back to gambling at his own will. Even after knowing about how gambling will ruin his life, many gamblers keep on coming back because of their severe addictions which leads them unable to stop gambling even they prefer to do so.
Other than addictions, the young gamblers keep on coming back to lose their money in gambling just due to the fact of greediness. They are simply believing into gambling to get their life's fortune. Even they  get losses in their first few attempts, they just come back to recover their losses and to continue their journey towards the goal of making big fortunes of life time.
Yes, every gambler has different reasons to coming back. Some people are coming back because they are greedy to make big money with gambling and others are when overstaying with a gambling get addicted and leaving of gambling is not at all possible for them. This type of people needs external help to stop themselves from coming back into gambling.
Yes, external help or proper advice from professional psychiatrist must help a gambler to stop returning to gambling even they are aware of gambling dangers. Addicted gamblers are well known for keeping on coming back to gambling even with borrowed money.

Coming back to gambling is similar to going for office regularly for addicted gamblers. Only a proper treatment could save them.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: July 23, 2016, 09:20:51 AM
I do hate fiat money but I still have to use it in my daily life. With all the yearly inflation rates fiat currencies have, mot of the world still use it and trust it

Inflation rates of fiat is almost not changing if you will based it on yearly basis.

I don't see any reason why you hate fiat since when you are born fiat dominates all the money transaction worldwide.

I guess everybody is still using Fiat these days so you can't really speak of hate, maybe more a dislike. Once you get your salary in BTCs and pay all bills in BTCs you could talk about hating Fiat =)

The inflation rate doesn't really show the change in the actual cost of living. In my opinion the inflation numbers are flawed due to the low energy prices.

Well that is really the real score. If all financial transactions can be supported by bitcoin then there's a reason now to hate fiat. But that won't happen.

And inflation is a normal economic thing so treating it as a factor to hate fiat isn't applicable technically.
If we look at it as commoners, we really do not feel the changes that are happening.
Even if we say that there are inflations happening, we do not really see it's effect since the cost of life's essentially needed things is not heavily affected. Bitcoin would give different changes in my perspective other than these, so there is no meaning in continuing to keep on believing in fiats.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 23, 2016, 08:04:44 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Who addictive?

Maybe it's because of the adrenaline it gives you while playing. There is a mixed emotion of excitement, pain, and worry that you might get busted. When you lost, you want to get back and if you keep losing, you tend to chase those loses. Most of all, gambling is designed for entertainment. The more entertained you are, the more it gets to your system. The trick therefore, is to control that emotion and bet with a system.
Yes, gambling target our emotions, and we are getting the feel of what we exactly want to get soothing. That is the reason gambling becoming addiction. Whenever you want to feel comfortable with your emotions then you might go for gambling.

All the above, the entertaining for your emotions might give you some cash too then you must get addicted with that.
But, I do see many gamblers are getting tension and frustration from gambling. None of this feeling would definitely sooth them. Still, they are going for gambling regularly due to their addictions. I do not see, gambling is comfortable to many gamblers in emotional way but they are still addicted for gambling.

520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: July 20, 2016, 07:29:10 PM
All my wins are more them all my losses .
That is good.  Grin
It is mostly a lose for people, I am lucky !  Tongue

Yeah, you are really lucky, But it will not happen for longer and the normal routine of gambling is more lose than win, so the best time is with you try to invest your earned money in some good business so that you not lose that money.
You are right, he should not have to remain there for longer as with long run everyone lose at gambling, the better option for him will be that he withdraw his money and invest in some other place like bitcoin or business.
