81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you guys gamble BTC? on: August 18, 2017, 08:36:33 PM
I'm usually gamble on primedice and stake at the moment
I know gambling world because of bitcoin and my first game was primedice and even until now, I'm still play it all the time since they are legit and long run over three years
If you have survived for long in the world of gambling and are fully aware of all the pros and cons of gambling, still I suggest quitting it. Especially give up on gambling using BTC. Your luck might have helped you this far but the opposite can also happen anytime. Quit before it is really too late.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: August 18, 2017, 08:06:01 PM
Find something else that are brightly helpful to you, Because if you become an addict or already addicted unto it, it will be hard for you to quit and surrender it. The addiction was one of the reason why majority of the gambler can't leave the gambling sites. So, Why not change your game in PSP, or mobile android games, DOTA in desktop.
It is really hard to quit in gambling if we are already attached into it most especially if we can't control our ego, but if we can find something else that can make us entertained and not bored then that is also good. Online games can also help but maybe it is not that good, it is helpful if that addicted person can do zumba or jogging, or maybe go to gym for his/her fitness.
Addiction of anything is very difficult to shake off. It becomes a person's second nature and essential like air.

I do not really get how people can really become this desperate that they do not even fear hurting their own selves. Probably, they are not in their complete senses. Diverting your interests and consulting a specialist may be help.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 15, 2017, 07:22:29 PM
I just wanted to earn one Bitcoin and now I am seeing that happening. Then I can spend all that together for buying games and stuff which I can't ask my parents to buy me. So 1 Bitcoin is just a lot for me and I hope I keep earning.
I'll tell you, it would not be a lot if you have already achieve to get 1 btc, you will surely aim for a bigger one
because human nature is like that. We do not have satisfaction and as long as we can get more we will surely continue doing it.
Firstly I would like to congratulate you on your this achievement and secondly I will suggest you the same. You just have only one bitcoin and it surely doesn't make you a very rich person.
Although, the price is rising day by day but you really need to gather more bitcoins in order to secure a lavish life. It is not that difficult.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: August 15, 2017, 04:48:24 PM
I used to panic when I first started trading and didn't have much experience. Now I don't easily panic because as long as you buy at the lowest price possible and you have patience to wait for the pump, then all is well.

I like to say, "he who panics first panics best." Cheesy I have no problem insta-dumping if my system tells me to. I know the OP is talking more about emotional panic, though.

But in all seriousness, you really can't always just "have patience." Sometimes a trade is dead, and some assets never recover. In those cases, you can baghold forever, or dump to preserve what capital you have left and live to trade another day.

Well yeah there are times like that and it happened toe a couple of times as well when a coin i've invested on died and i was left with the lowest amount possible. Though that can be avoided if you're trading with known altcoins. Still in general, being patient applies to most trades to avoid large losses.

Definitely agree. The major coins generally will recover if you have patience. And certainly, we can expect bitcoin to (as we've seen time and time again). It was the low market cap altcoins I was talking about, which can see a lot of hype early on, but die and never recover. Once it's on the chopping block for de-listing, you better hope for an exit pump and get out either way.
I agree with you in the regard that famous coins do have the potential of recovering after a bad or even worst dump and bitcoins is on the top of list among these coins.
Bitcoins really demand patience in order to be a successful investor with them. The coins with little support often die in dumping stages.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: August 15, 2017, 04:04:42 PM
Now you can make a lot of money selling bitcoins, but buying them now is very expensive anyway, you can pay off even more.
Selling your bitcoin doesn’t mean opportunity loss, though it’s always good to at least save some of them. And if you’re buying, always know that no amount purchased is too low, even if you purchased half of a bitcoin, it’s still a good investment cause the will surely grow.

If we go for analyzing only the long-term holder is are making use of the good returns, bitcoin is providing. So, we must try to hold bitcoin without selling them for whatever reasons. We can save and holding bitcoin which must be ensuring great opportunity in coming years.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is money, everything else is credit. on: August 15, 2017, 01:21:22 PM
Bitcoin is not an investment, Bitcoin is money. In fact, everything other than gold and Bitcoin is simply credit.
~snip~
Bitcoin has all the properties of money, and in my humble opinion, is a better monetary unit than gold.

The idea of bitcoin is become a digital currency, Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. Satoshi intended to created a digital form of money, but current situation lead bitcoin as a trading object, that's why people state it as an investment due to their money growing on bitcoin. But it's likely to change if most business, groceries, retailers and merchants accepting bitcoin payment, so people don't have to convert bitcoin into fiat currency in order to cover their daily expenses. Bitcoin will achieve that because it is a better monetary system than fiat currency if blockchain can afford thousands transactions in second.
Yes, that’s true. Most people sees it as investment due to the growth and the rate profit they make from its growth. But the real fact is that Bitcoin is money in its own way, and as the OP said, anything apart from Bitcoin is credit.
I do see lots of matured men and women that served their country for many years and when they retire, getting their payment/pension becomes a problem.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 15, 2017, 10:38:07 AM
Trading is part of tricky investment in which you have to be very patient about your goals. If you get greedy while trading then you are almost finished with that trade no matter what you do. Your loss is not much and it should not happen but it is really temporary and bitcoin will rise up again. Most if the people do even greater trader strategy than this by holding at least 5-6 coins at the same time and they never get panicked with fall situation because they always have mind set that they can earn big with their trade. So try to learn these strategies and control the emotions. Rest is yours.
Getting greedy and losing patience are the problems usually all day traders are facing. In the case of long-term trading, trader never need to worry about these things as there will be no need of emotion control for long term trading plan.

Again, strategies and money management other things a trader need to worry only for day trading and definitely not for just holding. In my experience I am always suggesting to go for long term trading with the respect to bitcoin and surprisingly it is always profitable for all the people.
Instead of struggling with different aspects of trading, it is always easier to buy and hold to make big profits with bitcoin.

I am also have switched over to long-term trading plans as short-term trading was most of the time leading to losses. To secure my capital I decided to stick with holding for longer haul.
That must be a right decision. I guess only for full-time traders day trading will be good because they only will be having enough time to watch market movements to make appropriate decisions on time. For all other people, holding for long period must be the right way of trading as it does not require any monitoring as well there will be no need of any on-time decision making.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Long Bitcoin Will Bullish on: August 15, 2017, 04:55:10 AM
Now... this year 2017 is a reflection of 2013...  Bitcoin prices rose significantly along with increased adoption and problem-solving. But whether Bitcoin prices can still rise in 2018 later? While the price correction of the price spike has not occurred at all. So what do you think guys?
You know what? I always wish I had an opportunity to invest into Bitcoin when it was around at least $250, by now I will only be making withdrawals, gathering profits an saying a very big thank you to the bullish price, lol. Congrats to those who made it then, now they’re enjoying the benefits of an early adoption of bitcoin.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: August 14, 2017, 08:17:07 PM
Actually, it would be very difficult to control the nerves while playing gambling. Well, if you've played, and have fun in that, all you feel is interest in gambling, and that's very hard to stop.

Stopping the feeling of having an interest in gambling is always like that. We never know that gambling will just always give us the feeling of greediness and that greediness is starting to be in our veins and you will have a very hard time to remove that attitude.
Gambling could be a problem for a person if he is really targeting money instead of having fun time. People get greedy once they earn huge amount of money without putting any effort. It really becomes difficult to eradicate gambling from your daily routine once you become addicted to it. You could only take on your nerves and control your greed if you consider your losses and the risk of addiction to such immoral
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: August 14, 2017, 07:31:20 PM
The use of gambling is to provide entertainment for the people after the long period of work. Other benefits of gambling might be dependent on the situation whether you are lucky enough to win or unlucky to lose. Yet, above all, and as far as I know gambling sometimes plays a vital role in the society. Smiley
I totally disagree. Gambling could only be considered beneficial with reference to the stance that it allows you to earn a huge capital effortlessly if you really have a lucky day. Otherwise, gambling could not be taken as a fun at all because once you become addicted to it, then consistent failures might cause you to sell your possessions as well.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 14, 2017, 06:10:29 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
I didn't hear bitcoin back then. I wish I could also here bitcoin back in 2009 or 2010. I've just heard bitcoin in 2016. But I am not regreting even if I am too late to know bout bitcoin. I still want to earn and save it.
I didn’t hear about Bitcoin for a long time until early 2014. But the price was still low back then when I discovered it, so it was quite affordable. It wasn’t even up to $1000 dollars, but people were saying it would hit $2000, and I was like “these people are very stupid, it hasn’t even crossed $500”. I later quit, but came back and saw the price high. But, I’m not regretting since I’m getting along.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 13, 2017, 09:11:57 PM
I think the Bitcoin is the foundation of all cryptocurrency that exist currently. Developers can make potential virtual currencies but  I think it is impossible to replace the First and the widely used and supported Bitcoin.
Yuppie! Agree with you that bitcoins could not be replaced by any other crypto currency as the number of bitcoin investors and its price is increasing day by day.

It is becoming famous all over the globe due to its extraordinary features such as volatility, security, easy and remote access etc. It is the fundamental digital currency and has no present replacement in the market.
The Bitcoins was the first digital currency and after that many were introduced. It’s the root of crypto currencies. There is no doubt in it that it has competition now but we all know no other currency can surpass it. Not now not ever. Also, the number of its user is accelerating with passing time. No one knows the future but with present statistics we can predict that this currency will be ruling the world.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 13, 2017, 07:22:00 PM
Everyone would want to get rich moreover me a lot of short of money if true bitcoin can make rich i will focus on bitcointalk. Grin

Yes, everyone have a desire to get rich, and bitcoin is seriously short way to make rich.
But it is not enough just you are focus only on bitcointalk.
Better to start altcoin trading, and gambling. I know mostly people disagree with gambling point of view, but in fact gambling is also shortest way to earn money. And trading is best way to make money.
Well, but trading also requires enough skill in order to gain profit. Well, maybe that would be an easy way to get rich. But each trading has a high enough risk. But, if you are proficient, it will be easy.

in my point of view that is very good choice to focus on bitcointalk at beginning to found more knowledge on trading because if you still don't have a skill for trading this forum bitcointalk.org is very proper place to gain your skill of trading. you should go to trading discussions  section and take a much knowledge as you can.

after get enough knowledge you can brave your self to start trading, i am totally agree that trading is very risky so needs preparation before decided to start.
Bitcoins has certainly proved to be a quick way of getting rich for those people who have invested in it in the past. Today, we all agree at this one point for sure. Today it is the most expensive digital currency and buying it is a little bit difficult now.

Still, people are investing in it because they are aware of this fact that its value is going to touch the sky in near future as they say, "its better late than never".
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategy for most profit in 10 years from now on: August 13, 2017, 03:15:27 PM
No amount invested into bitcoin is small. Even as the price is $3,950 now as I’m writing, you can still invest your $100 and leave it to grow as little as it can. I believe you will profit from it. But, lol, what do you $500,000 in 10 years ? Lmao…that sounds a little bit funny.

If you want to invest into an altcoin, I will recommend Ethereum. I believe in few years, Ethereum will be sold at a higher price. You better invest now you have the chance.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: August 12, 2017, 09:28:02 PM
Patience is key to success.
Patience is very rare character now a day and those who have high level of patience and are not short-tempered, they are blessed people. No matter whatever work we doing, if it is not done in haste, definitely maximum chances are there that we will succeed in that work. In short, trading also demands patience to show miracles.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer on: August 12, 2017, 09:08:11 PM
For me I ask them if they already know cryptocurrencies if not then I have to teach or tell them a short tale of how do I know bitcoin and how do I earning from bitcoin so that I got there attention and they are eager to listen. I give them bitcoin links, presentation and specially I show them my earnings. To be honest I'm not really very good on talking and convincing people but I already have some recruit of my friends to have bitcoin just what I did now. Wink
This is a clever and effective way to introduce bitcoins to newcomers. Firstly, you must make the idea of digital currencies clear in their minds and then what bitcoins are. At last, tell them about how BTC is ruling the crypto currency world and all of its cool features like high level security and huge profits due to its increasing value. To keep them in business, give them temptation of luxurious life. Simple and efficient tactics to persuade people!
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 11, 2017, 09:36:31 PM
If miners keeps support to BCC then for sure it will rise more then BTC.
Block size is larger then BTC and there are transaction problem occurs on BTC.
Lets wait and see whats going to happen but for sure i will buy on dips BCC

Bitcoin are much more valuable than bitcoin cash as any of the currency which is been used while on the net then it has much less chance of getting in corruption so bitcoins are great way for making money

We all know how valuable bitcoin is than bitcoin cash. Also, bitcoin cash is just the continuation of the dream of the creator of Bitcoin; Satoshi Nakamoto. So I think that people like the idea of Satoshi Nakamoto if he is present the time bitcoin is having a lot of issues. If Satoshi helped the developers and include himself or themselves in the debate I think they can understood and this will not come to this where there are two parties.
I am glad that at least true bitcoin lovers are still with bitcoins and are not attracted by similar currencies like bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash was a useless invention that has disappointed many around the globe and it just gathered hatred from the true bitcoin lovers. I will suggest the team to focus on producing latest versions of the classic bitcoin.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: August 11, 2017, 08:07:53 PM
I think that when people say everyone has heard of Bitcoin they mean anyone important xP Such narsisistic behavior. xD
Well I'm pretty sure anyone into technology and computers knows what Bitcoin is. How could you not ?
As far as computer users are concerned, yeah if not all then most of them are aware of this digital currency but to say that everyone knows about it already is not the right thing for the moment, I am afraid so. Also, on the other hand Bitcoins are becoming famous day by day and is attracting masses all over the world which will ultimately make everyone realize its existence. People are talking more and more about bitcoins nowadays.

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio on: August 05, 2017, 03:31:18 PM
I also think that it is very hard to follow more than 10 coins in once. I hope you don't put high amount. I guess Stratis, DigitalNote and Status may be added. Please check them.
It is tough to manage such a diversified portfolio. Besides the coins you have mentioned are also not bad but there addition will make things more complicated for him. I am amazed that he is using bitcoins for short term trading when we all know they produce unbelievable results in the long terms.
