1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 21, 2019, 12:11:26 AM
There is nothing wrong with investing in bitcoin. You only need to study before investing to know the risk involved in bitcoin investing. Learning and knowledge will help you to understand the risk and benefits of investing in cryptocurrency like bitcoin. Also it needs patience, you can't earn instantly after you invest, you need to wait. Bitcoins value is volatile and through that people earn profit.
Many investor do not learn before investing with bitcoin, they always heard what other people said when buying bitcoin or selling bitcoin, they never understand when have to buy or sell bitcoin, we need patience become bitcoin investor. Not always bitcoin on top price but we have to control how to buy bitcoin on lower price then you have sell price up, never waiting after price pump for the big thing again.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: October 20, 2019, 05:37:46 PM
I did not like kyc specially when wwe bounty Hunters promote projects that we need to pass this kyc, its is just a piece of commonsense if we did this, we are only promoting the project while we need to pass kyc? Then for me its not a good rule for many of bounties that offers kyc and this is a barrier for bounty Hunters also.
Very easy if you hate KYC when joining bounty campaign, almost every bounty campaign manager give information about their bounty needed KYC or not at the first time bounty campaign open for public or bounty participants, if you dislike submit KYC you not allowed for joining this bounty campaign, but if you found with bounty campaign without KYC you can join because you want your data safety.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: October 20, 2019, 04:56:19 PM
Or you watch TV too much?

What you are saying is the terrorists create blockchain product, write a WP and set a website for an ICO. After collecting personal information from people they close the shop and go out to use identities' people?

If you prefer to live in a sphere with a currency controlled by authority controlling everything then you can always use your local money.
How come terrorism know with bitcoin and blockhcain, how they will cash out bitcoin assets become cash money without registered with bank account, terrorism will delist from bank member and they will never can get cash money from bank, with bitcoin you need bank account when you withdraw your bitcoin to be cash money, now stop saying bitcoin and terrorism have relationship with KYC document data.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early investors and adopters backing out or losing their hope is a warning sign. on: October 20, 2019, 04:03:29 PM
So I'm reading daily these news about Bitcoin, Blockchain, cryptocurrencies etc and I sometimes find some surprising articles.

A few weeks ago I found this article I'm still thinking about almost every day, because it's a scary thing going on and it actually is the truth: most of us are not looking at technology anymore and the way Bitcoin could change a lot of things around us for the better, but for the money and profit we can earn.

Back in the day when Bitcoin had close to $0 value, everyone was in it for the tech as almost nobody thought and believed there is a chance of it touching even half a dollar. The fascinating Satoshi story and everything made Bitcoin so interesting and the early investors and adopters of it made a lot of progress. If you watch the documentaries of those people adopting BTC in its early stages I'm sure you'd be so jealous you haven't heard of it "at the right time"...

but but wait a minute.. what are you thinking of when I say "hearing about Bitcoin at the right time"?

I'm sure more than 60% of us think about the price when reading these words. Bitcoin is here as a different payment system and as a solution to a lot of world's problems, and yet we're ignoring all that and going all in for the price?!

That's disrespectful to the early adopters, and that's disrespectful to Satoshi himself. Take a look at his wallets - billions since 2009 and yet not a little part of a Bitcoin has been moved. Dead or alive, doesn't matter and probably nobody knows, but we should take it as a lesson. Instead of focusing on the price and profit, we should all focus more on its influence in the world. We should focus on turning the possibility of it changing the world into reality, and trust me.. the price will come with it.

Here I'm not talking necessarily about miners. I'm talking about all of us who've heard of Bitcoin and are using it. Imagine it's 2009 and Bitcoin had close to $0 value, what would you do? Leave it forever because you couldn't get money profit off it, or would you continue to support it and adopt it knowing its potential? If you were the early adopter, what would you do?

We do have some members here who've adopted Bitcoin in an early stage. Actually, we have a pretty large number of members since then who are still active here considering the community size of 2009-2010.. even 2011. Today almost everybody around the world has heard of BTC or at least the Blockchain technology, but most have only heard about its volatility and that's what scares them away. Another thing is Bitcoin being pretty hard to be understood by newcomers, just like it's been hard for me and everyone else around in the first year of using it.

And now let's talk about the real purpose of this topic. Let's talk about Jered Kenna, who has posted one month ago the following tweet after 3 years of pause:

Quote
25 Sep 2019
Everyone scared by the @Bitcoin dip. Amazing how many people stuck around for $31 to $2 and the next year. Passion for the project vs current focus purely on making money.

Link to the tweet: https://twitter.com/JeredKenna/status/1176892921230086146

25 Sep 2019
Also fwiw I don't really hold any crypto. I think I have like half a BTC a few BCH and 50,000XRP.

I love the tech but lost the love for the industry. I still think it's brilliant but I'm not active. If I say something like "buy the dip" or HODL it's what I'd do if still in

Link to the tweet: https://twitter.com/JeredKenna/status/1176947341682794497

And that's scary. Jered Kenna is the creator of TradeHill Inc., the first Bitcoin exchange in the US. If that still isn't scary enough, we have this more recent tweet which gave me goosebumps:

Quote
3 Oct 2019
We used to say: "people will be able to send money home to their families for 5 cents"

now we say "keep HODLing for 100k or 1 million"

We used to say let's build something amazing that will create that value and now it's how many people can we get to buy in.

Link to tweet: https://twitter.com/JeredKenna/status/1179820820631359488

Just as a reminder, he's a very early adopter of Bitcoin and he basically lost his love and hope for it. This should be a big warning sign to all of us, because he has accomplished a key point in the Bitcoin adoption by creating the first US exchange and yet we're all looking right now just at the money we could earn from its volatility.

I would give a suggestion as a key to switching the focus from money to technology and adoption, but I don't know what to say except: try finding a way to make a change. Try making a change in the crypto world, not by creating another coin. Focus on Bitcoin and its capability. Make a change and profit will come as a default.

I have a question for all of you: what have you done to make a change in the Bitcoin world?

Here's the news article I read that made me think of this entire post: https://business.financialpost.com/technology/blockchain/why-an-early-bitcoin-millionaire-says-hes-lost-his-love-for-the-industry
Bitcoin is not technology but how to manage profit with investing in bitcoin when price down buy then sell when price is up, many adoption by technology is not really important because my goal is how to get much profit with bitcoin, many people talking about bitcoin have good technology for payment system and have transparent payment history but I think is only benefit for companies.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 20, 2019, 11:06:32 AM
According the report in the article https://medium.com/@sherwin.dowlat/ico-quality-development-trading-e4fef28df04f more or less 81% ICO turned out scams. This is data from 2018 year but to be honest trend is predictable.
Higher percentage of ICO scam above 81% ICOs project listed or not on exchange market are scam, some ICO scam without listing with exchange market and woner have run away without give feed back for investor to get profit, almost ICOs project scam by listing with shit exchange and have lower price than ICOs. How long you hold ICOs coins price still down and never touch how price on ICO time.
1246  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down on bitcoin again on: October 20, 2019, 08:04:10 AM
The latest attempt features Alipay (payment processor):

https://cointelegraph.com/news/official-alipay-to-ban-all-bitcoin-related-transactions

Quote
Alipay, the digital payment arm of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, has declared that it will be banning any transactions related to Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies.

On Oct. 10, Alipay reiterated its anti-crypto stance in a Twitter thread, which warned that the company is closely monitoring over-the-counter transactions to identify irregular behavior and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Alipay wrote:

“If any transactions are identified as being related to bitcoin or other virtual currencies, @Alipay immediately stops the relevant payment services.”

This move follows various reports that Alipay is being used for BTC transactions.

Binance uses Alipay for buying crypto

On Oct. 9, major crypto exchange Binance confirmed on Twitter that it has begun accepting fiat currencies through online payment service Alipay and mobile messaging and payment app WeChat.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, clarified that the exchange is not working directly with WeChat or Alipay, and users are still able to use them for peer-to-peer transactions.

This announcement followed the implementation of Binance’s peer-to-peer trading for Bitcoin, Ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT) against the Chinese yuan (CNY) earlier, as reported by Cointelegraph.

I think what has happened is this: China closed down all the cryotocurrency exchanges back in early 2017.

Then Binance tweeted to their Chinese users that they could buy bitcoin with Alipay. The Chinese authorities then put pressure on Alipay to close down any bitcoin related transactions, which is what they've done.
Early 2017 China have banned bitcoin transaction make bitcoin dump and investor panic for selling bitcoin, after few week bitcoin got good respond from Japan want to adopt bitcoin as legal investment, one day after Japan accepted bitcoin price of bitcoin wake up to higher price and many panic bitcoin seller very disappointed have sell their bitcoin assets with lower price.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders Protection on: October 20, 2019, 01:53:00 AM
Can you protect a piece of paper with 12 words written to it better than a third party entity yes or no? If yes, you don't need any other (State/Private) protection gimmicks.

If no, go place it in a bank vault and pay the monthly fee to have it secured. At least you are forcing that bank to play by full reserve rules, without they even knowing it.

Banks by themselves are not evil, its the current version of banking, under fractional reserve that is more akin to a ponzi scheme that is.
Sve with the bank and pay monthly payment fee I think is better than we hold in our wallet, saving in the bank more safety than we hold or save our bitcoin in wallet, by saving in wallet we faced with thousand kind to stole our balance where many hacker try to get access to our bitcoin wallet, its not worry to pay monthly payment fee if our bitcoin keep save for long time.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: October 20, 2019, 01:23:04 AM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
When you checking $5 on spreadsheet is not the same when you receiving your coin after bounty distribution, maybe higher or lower what have you counted, many coins bounty campaign make down after distribution where team of ICO sell coin with higher amount, they fault fro bounty participants have sell but only 2% for bounty participants reward how come make price dump.
1249  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: October 19, 2019, 04:21:25 PM
The world economy keeps crashing with many incidence of inflation. What is happening at the moment is  a clear indication of a world that has failed the minority. Although the underdeveloped countries could partly be blamed for the high inflation that exists in their respective economies. Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?
Almost fiat currencies will inflation with lower value after several years later, maybe when we have about 10$ in our pocket for last ten years we can buy anything, for today we just can buy several kinds of candies because our money $10 have lower value by inflation, but if we use bitcoin as currencies still keep price with higher and not have reason for bitcoin become inflation value.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 19, 2019, 12:35:05 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?
Don't worry the future of bitcoin still fine, you can get much profit with bitcoin and altcoin investment, still worth with bitcoin price today and the future bitcoin always have higher price. You can ask with old trader have invest money in bitcoin where they bought when bitcoin under $100 and how much profit earning so far if still holding bitcoin today, you need to trust with bitcoin become profitable at the future with bitcoin price always on the top.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 19, 2019, 08:46:10 AM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...
I see you've joined minter project bounty, its actually one of the ways to earn money and reinvest in other good projects but this might not come to past if you rely on bounties only, include trading if you want to change your earnings, trading is more active that promoting bounties, all you need now is to learn how
Minter project bounty is good because they sent distribution according how team minter announce in bounty group, I am happy with bounty campaign give faster payment and we can earn altcoin by free, I have sell minter coin on minter market and joined about three week I got about 0.6 ETH, I think is higher payment for bounty campaign today just running three weeks.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 19, 2019, 08:18:28 AM
Africa as a good place for crypto? Yes it would. Africa is a continent where some countries are ready to embrace good things. Ofcourse, banks are there to oppose certain things which are likely to pose their businesses to threat. Once africans realize crypto will fetch them money, they will quickly embrace it and work into crypto. However, in an instance where the money is keeping them to wait longer, trust me they will back off. Crypto will be good in Africa but the issue of patient can be a challenge.
Every country good place for bitcoin and altcoin if people want to adopt and government give regulation for bitcoin, but for Africa's people are they interested for investing in bitcoin and altcoin, look they like for investing with buying or selling stock or other online investing, have to try for listing legal coin there and look how interested african with bitcoin and altcoin.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 19, 2019, 06:40:37 AM
I found this article on cointelegraph :https://cointelegraph.com/news/nearly-10-billion-in-btc-is-held-in-wallets-of-8-crypto-exchanges. I wonder  if they had the control over the price, they can make a bearish run or even they can wake the bull up? Well for sure there is only one thing to expect it is having a good price in the future. What is your thought if the 10 billion worth of bitcoin will move?
I found with halving bitcoin at next year and give us hope for bitcoin back to higher price, I can't trust because today bitcoin still down and do not have way when bitcoin back up. We need regulation for bitcoin first to make we believe bitcoin at the future have good price and investor can get profit with bitcoin and altcoin investment, worth or not with holding bitcoin today is depend with how situation at the future with bitcoin.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 19, 2019, 06:19:04 AM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

I have made research before joining bounty campaign, looking with how much coin sold, who bounty campaign manager but always get lower price and little reward, last payment from curio invest coin look the shit coin, before distribution raise above $1 and after distribution price down to $0,3. Maybe for ICO you have buy as pre sale with much bonus and sell after one second listing on exchange market.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 19, 2019, 04:14:22 AM
1.faucets

2.Affiliates

3.Bounties

4.campaign management.

Become campaign management look interested to earn free altcoin, but very hard how accepted by ICO or IEO project, best solution joining bounty campaign without hard and just doing bounty task every week, use social media account from twitter, facebook, telegram and linkedin account for joning social media bounty campaign to earn free altcoin.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: October 19, 2019, 03:43:37 AM
Lack of crypto with lower price only, when you buy coin with higher price and suddenly down you have take faster cut lost without waiting or holding for long term, you can lost all if you not cut lost because is lack of cryptocurrency, they only give profit when price up and lost your money when price down, keep take moment to know when bitcoin or altcoin down by reading forum discussion and check many channel news.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 19, 2019, 01:16:56 AM
Bitcoin is an online currency.  Even if started with a lower price.  Now its value is beyond the reach of ordinary people. But, nowadays, it seems that Bitcoin is losing its popularity.Because, not receiving validity in low income countries. It may be the main reason.

Bitcoin dominance this year is very high this year, I wonder what is the basis of your statement. Even if it is beyond the reach of ordinary people but it doesn't mean that we cannot afford it.

We can buy whatever amount we like, it's not like we need to buy 1 bitcoin or more. We can choose how much we like to stock or it can be your saving if you have spare money then you can put it in bitcoin and few years from now, you can see how much is your savings worth.
Bitcoin still dominance and not lost popularity until today, look at market how many percent dominance bitcoin than altcoin, last day I checked about 66% dominance bitcoin than altcoin and look bitcoin still not lost popularity, better if you keep invest with bitcoin and stop heard bad news talking about bitcoin have lost popularity and make price will be down, keep focus on your bitcoin as investment assets.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 01:03:11 AM
Most of us have been through this sad phase of life wherein we have wasted our precious time spanning to months on scam projects wherein the either the project turns out to be a scam or else the developers refrain from distributing the tokens to the bounty hunters for first few months after launch and by the time we receive it the value of token is negligible. Should bounty hunters boycott the ICO's and look for alternatives?

i think for many bounty hunters they may have no choice but to gamble with getting paid and put in the work
the payouts, if successful, can equal many years normal salary in their respective countries Sad
SHOULD they boycott ICOs? we all should, i really like the idea of DAOs, in an ICO the people putting in the money seem to have the LEAST say : /

Bad effect if many investor boycott ICO's because there are not available for joining bounty campaign anymore, I know how investor feel with many time failed with ICO's although success with ICO sale but price always down, you can join ICO's investment but check how their road map running, based on shcedule or they are running ICO's without according the road map.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 05:03:18 PM
There is nothing more appealing to a crypto enthusiast than an environment suitable for holding or trading cryptocurrencies, In my opinion here are the 5 most crypto-friendly countries.

Malta
Topping the list is Malta. The country has become a haven for cryptocurrency companies and businesses due to its tax-friendly policy, even for foreigners. This country has a prime minister who fully supports all cryptocurrencies.

Bermuda
Bermuda is a small island with a population of about 65,000 people in the Caribbean. This country has attracted companies with a free tax policy. This also applies to cryptocurrencies as the country aims to become a haven for the cryptocurrency industry

Japan
Japan is a leading country in the cryptocurrency space. Japan is the first country in the world to accept Bitcoin as legal. The country was also the first to adopt extensive regulations for more than their cryptocurrency exchanges.

Germany
Cryptocurrencies are considered to be a separate unit of money and an accepted means of payment in the country by the German National Tourism Board 2018. Germany has a cryptocurrency-friendly financial system.

Singapore
Cryptocurrencies will be considered commodities, not currencies in Singapore. Any company dealing with cryptocurrencies is required to pay GST (Goods and Services Tax)

In your opinion, which countries are crypto friendly? Please list
Could you tell me where is Bermuda country? have good destination place for holiday there? I like if country have legal bitcoin because when we make travelling we not worry have to change our money become local money country with higher convert, I want to check best destination place in Bermuda country, I am interested with name his country.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this how we regulate Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2019, 03:44:04 PM
I'm happy with the current state of bitcoin. As you can see, many people who do not agree with bitcoin regulations, including me. I personally think many negative sides if bitcoin is regulated. IMO, the thing that will happen related to bitcoin regulation is that bitcoin will be controlled by the government which in my opinion is not good. because if bitcoin has been controlled by the government, bitcoin-related things like taxes, markets and circulation will be regulated by the government. because of this I disagree about bitcoin regulation
By regulation bitcoin can control by some country about how bitcoin price, we need bitcoin price based on how supply and demand where investor want to push or make bitcoin down, just give regulation for bitcoin become legal payment or allow as investment assets without control or manage bitcoin price at the future, lets make bitcoin running and control by investor when have to higher or lower price.
