It is correct that we should at least spend our bitcoins not just hold it because it's a way to support merchants and promote bitcoin as well. Not only during black Friday or holidays but anytime we feel like spending it. Though I haven't bought anything because I don't want to spend my bitcoin on not so important things. And recently, I just bought something necessary so I have to save up before spending again.
I honestly didnt buy anything. Because I want to save more coins so that in the future I could use it to buy more and to buy anything that I want. Invest now, save your money and produce more of it so when the right time will come you may now enjoy your investment and savings as well together with your offspring. I didn't buy anything with bitcoin on black Friday, I miss chance on black friday because I lost my bitcoin have trade with higher price, I will try next season with bonus discount and pay use bitcoin. I think it's a bit true that it causes bounty hunters not to receive their rewards, but in the past I often saw several bounty managers escort rewards for bounty participants and the surprise happened because bounty manager corrupted by manipulating spreadsheets as if it were a participant's account even though it was is a fake account created by them and from there they took a lot of profit and the great thing was that it was an altseason so I think they got hundreds of thousands of dollars easily, and because of this I think we go back to old tradition of waiting for the team of project to share rewards but I think if we choose the right project we will still get paid.

The problem with that promise is that it is enormously expensive for consumers to run Bitcoin nodes.
i don't know what scale you use when you say "enormously expensive" but it sounds like you have never bothered trying to run a bitcoin node before you make this statement. of course you aren't downloading a tiny app like a music player that takes up 20 MB!! but the cost is by no means "enormous". not to mention that there are a lot of different options to reduce the resources it needs such as limiting upload rate, connection count, storage space,... I was about to say that and looked for a similar comment. I guess OP wanted to say mine Bitcoin not run a node, because running a node is pretty cheap. For most people a 1TB drive is very affordable and that + any computer, even an outdated one is enough to run a node. You can even buy an old laptop for $100 and run a node on it. What governments can make expensive is mining as increasing the cost of power can make it impossible to mine in a given country. That does make BItcoin dependant on the government. You can't effectively ban it but you can ban mining and you can ban fiat trading. Government will regulation using bitcoin as legal currency payment transaction if know by their many people, when bitcoin only know by several people in their country can using for fault mistake like crime cases, but when many people have know whit bitcoin and price of bitcoin they will allow using bitcoin as legal currency payment and increase their economic country become better. |

Everybody is complaining about bounty projects that failed to pay bounty hunters after bounty ends, these projects are not fake and they are trading with good volume on exchanges, they intentionally ignore hunters, there are few others that pays half of the bounty hunters and forget the rest, i feel your pain and anger but i think you should consider my thought, follow good bounty managers on this forum and you will always get paid, among good bounty managers i 100% trust arteezy and bubbalex, i don't know how they always do it but hunters always get paid, seem they take their job very serious, most projects that don't pay hunters are from new bounty managers or self managed by the project teams.
Do make sure you do your research though, sometimes not all projects from good bounty managers are legit.

There is nothing to do about it since as we gain trust to each and everyone of us here like as you want to follow those bounty managers. there are no new problems that happen there because most new projects only want quick profits without regard to investors after they get a lot of funds there. so i guess it is not surprising why many new projects are created just to die, even though softcap is not achieved but at least they have benefited even though not much, in contrast to good projects at least they will continue to strive for projects to continue to grow even though growth is slow

HODL is about choice and particular coin to hodl as for me I do not believe in long hold unless it's a project that does on me or a project I think they have working products but if it's just to hold for long I prefer trading. $9 worth of any crypto is really not much and if the are in an exchange the you are going to pay good amount of fees to withdraw as well. Guessing that you have them in you own wallet and in this case my advise will be to exchange them in Bitcoin if you like too coz this bitcoin cash is not going to last long. Their hash power is dying. If you are interested in crypto then find a job that pays in crypto or from your regular job why not buy very often. Talking about trading or thing like that ? I will say stay away unless you know the things. You will not need 9 seconds to lose your 9 dollar . A friend from my street came by today to tell about a coin named LCC (Litecoin cash) and he told me he has already invested on the coin, i asked him what makes him invested in it, like what is the real use case of the coin and he have no straight answer, after a while i found out he invested in the coin because of what a analyst said about the project, are there people like this on here? after so many scams since 2018? i decide to do few diggings and i see that LCC is not that bad but my point is why invest on a project because someone said they are good?
