1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: May 02, 2019, 10:21:35 AM
Kind time of the day, with every day in ICO we meet more and more fraud. It is clear that no one forces us to invest in these projects. But the idea of a cryptocurrency does not imply any regulatory department. What do you think that could help in solving this problem? I just see only that the advisors were responsible, or they took a pledge from the projects they are entering.

we still cannot overcome this problem.
and as long as this business is profitable as long as the scammer is always there
this is a fact
and I think we will really need a true regulation that can prevent scammers acting up. some countries that legalize crypto must participate in this matter
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: May 01, 2019, 10:57:43 AM
If I can't find a bounty project that's already listed and trading I'm done joining bounties.
No matter how reasonable a project might be if the teams decided to stay anonymous I will pass by
Whitepapers and roadmaps aren't enough anymore, developers should be ready to face the public and be ready to show me they are ready to work ,not experimental on 'it might became success or failure .

that's the real problem for most ico today. there are many investors who are hesitant to invest now and in the next few years, I think the problem is not what you say. but we really need regulation to be a liaison between developers and investors, communities
regulation can be a good option for investors and legal guarantees
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram forced invite on: May 01, 2019, 10:54:48 AM
So I noticed I've been forcefully invited by bots into multiple telegram community which I never wanted to join.. and most of these communities are either ponzi schemes or from #icos which claim to be legit companies with one or two things to offer in the crypto space..

What can you say about this??
Can you really believe a good project with good concept would forcefully invite you into their community without any prior notice??

You can leave it if you have big doubts, I think that's the way the scamer works to get the hunt they are after.
You can report it to the telegram so that the channel can be suspended.
be careful because in this industry it is still very vulnerable and very vulnerable in cases of scams
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: April 29, 2019, 08:35:09 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

the most rational reason is because the price of shitcoin is not really meaningful, even transactions are more expensive to sell. so what else to do besides just leave it on MEW.
I don't think that all the alts that I have will grow or even recover to the price of ico, even I am sure most of them will only become trash in the wallet.
so I don't have a lot of time to think about it, I started to trade with potential alt that could benefit from daily trading.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops still favors on: April 29, 2019, 08:30:42 AM
Am I just lucky or was it because I'm more careful when picking airdrops? Many are complaining about airdrops been shitcoins or worthless but my own story is plain different, even when I blindly joined airdrop in 2018 im still able to make few good money out of airdrops
1)i make 100$ plus from MTC airdrop, I was given 400tokens and I sold on bitcnia, MTC coin is a Korean project and I was shocked how it manages to keep price at 0.30plus even in bear market
2)another one is originalmy ,a Brazil based project and I did make 70$ worth of tokens and I'm able to sell off too
3)was Apollo currency airdrop, I earned 23,000 pieces and able to sell at 0.0023 which was 53$
And many more, I don't know why people are complaining about airdrops, they arent that bad as stated

I no longer follow Airdrop or join Airdrop programs other than the bounty campaign.
in my opinion, it is almost impossible for now to benefit from airdrop, even for any bounty campaign. just look at it and you can compare the percentage of the last few years and now.
I think if you want to make a profit in this industry not only become a bounty hunter or take part in an airdrop program, but you must try to become a trader or investor
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protecting Your Computer? on: April 27, 2019, 10:56:19 AM

I think there are many recommendations for the security of your laptop. like installing antivirus and internet security. the second is very necessary to anticipate the existence of a torjan virus or that will malwhare.
the rest you have to be careful to store your wallet and make a backup in a different place. for example an external or flasdist hardist
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right desicion not to join on: April 27, 2019, 10:53:04 AM
I made the right decision not to join Yobit campaign every one is jumping to join the bandwagon but I cannot betray my friend who was scammed by Yobit, I can lose a friend if he saw promoting Yobit, who scam big money and for a few dollar, now Yobit promoters are now banned here, what do you think , are you also tempted to join Yobit when everybody are joining ?

yes, I also received e-mail from yobit to join the campaign.
but in my opinion to reach the target must make a post 20 and that will be problematic.
and absolutely right, there are many who follow the yobit campaign and finally get bad trust even suspended
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2019, 08:15:43 AM
New bitcoin? no, or in what term? Why people seem to think that there will be another or next bitcoin? Don't compare any altcoin to bitcoin as they're all different. Binance is a tiger coin and its huge increase has made it nearly back to its ath prices but it has a different purpose from bitcoin. I like the coin and on how the development team of it works for the progress of this coin and I appreciate all of that. But when it comes to this kind of thinking, I'll refuse to say that it will be the next bitcoin or so.

yes you are absolutely right
but maybe what the OP means is that BNBs can increase like bitcoin.
but again, your explanation is very useful for all of us to have a proper discussion that really understands the opinion trail
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 26, 2019, 08:13:02 AM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.

I think it can be seen clearly for now.
You can compare the percentage especially in 2018 to date. only a few really benefit from the results of the bounty campaign. so the possibility of a bounty will not last long, because from that knowledge and experience will be very useful if you still want to be involved in this industry
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake allocation on: April 25, 2019, 11:42:52 AM
More percent of stakes goes to senior members like Sr member, hero member or legendary under bounty campaigns. But except for few cases, their performances are similar to those by junior members like member, Jr member.
The percentage of stakes allocated is much far between senior members and junior members. Moreover, it is really hard to get merit nowadays unlike in the past when merits would be given based on the quantity of posts. Except for few cases, merits are awarded to only the nearer and dearer.

So what do you guys think about it? You are welcome to comment.

I guess now is not the time to think about something like that, I don't care if my rank won't go up again without getting merit.
I am more focused on exploring other sciences such as learning technical analysis for trade
so I can benefit in any field without relying on bounty campaigns.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 24, 2019, 12:09:10 PM
Do many people around you claim that bitcoin is bad? yes this happened around my place.
I don't care what they say, even though I haven't been here long, but I'm sure bitcoin isn't as bad as they think, this is a future technology where when the future comes, we are ahead and they are still behind  Cool. I am sure of that!

there are lots of bad views and news for crypto currencies especially for bitcoin. so I think this news is not new
but if we look at it in the perspective of ordinary people, it is very common because it is clear that they are not familiar with blockchain technology and especially there are many influences coming from many ico projects. however, it will not drop Bitcoin
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Fought Back? on: April 24, 2019, 12:06:11 PM
More and more Project are not paying Us bounty hunters for are work example of that 👉 ATHERO this project fooled us keep saying dates of distribution, is their any way to get even with this Scammers or is their any way to get them reported so that people will see what they really are?

for that you have to investigate it first and try to discuss on the telegram channel.
I know the project is good, but as you said I didn't hear about distribution for the bounty campaign
currently there are many similar projects that do not distribute rations for bounty hunters. some rumors lead to scams, hopefully not right
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: April 18, 2019, 11:02:08 AM
Hi,
I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.

I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?

there are actually many choices for daily trading. however, you must first know the altcoin that you want to trade or short investment.
I guess if you don't know about other altcoins you should, but invest and trade what you know
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: April 16, 2019, 06:57:29 AM
I was ask if I could teach what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is all.about. Since, I am.not.knowledgeable in technical.part then I may have some.difficulty on explaining it. All I know is that bitcoin has volatility in terms of.its market price and this is the only thing I can share with the guy.

I just want get ideas from you guys on where to start teaching the guy. Should I start on joining exchange?, creating Wallet?, how to transfer btc?,

Bitcoin is indeed a complicated technology. Is there any chance that this all could be done easily or simplied? Could you suggest that to me. Post your replies and thank.you in advance.

it's difficult to explain directly to lay people who don't know bitcoin or blockchain at all. this takes a long time so they can understand first, I think someone if they want to know they should try to read a lot and explore about crypto, bitcoin and blockchain. now the rest can only discuss
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cardano Replace Bitcoin in 10 Years? on: April 15, 2019, 06:07:22 AM
If Cardano manages to successfully launch PoS, and it really gets so decentralized as Charles claims, I think in the next 10 years Cardano can surpass Bitcoin, not just as a utility but as a marketcap and a store of value.

Any thoughts?

I replied no
there are lots of crypto that are believed to be replacing bitcoin. but that will never happen I guess
just look at the history of this industry, there are many altcoins that have more sophisticated technology than bitcoin, but bitcoin remains the king of all crypto and is very binding in every trade
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: April 15, 2019, 06:05:00 AM
No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail, this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki, haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.

sorry I just want to comment on what I think is conflicting.
You say ICO makes me sick with everything you think.
but this is contrary to your own joining a signature campaign, this is what becomes more hypocritical you say
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: April 13, 2019, 08:03:02 AM
The situation is plain and clear, the market is growing steadily and not bullishly.

Everyone (incl investors) were hopeful of 2018 being a better year than 2017, it failed and left a lot of people in losses, now there are several blogs, posts, speculations and hope that 2019 will be the year and do better, but who knows if it will be more loss ? Or new profits ?

Let’s learn to things the right way, dyor, cash your profit and maintain a balance in your portfolio

Kindly contribute your opinion

the most basic thing about mistakes for beginners is the high returns on investment, especially in ico, even though in fact every risk is very vulnerable to occur in this industry, and it is evident that today there are many people who experience huge losses on their portfolios.
and the market won't get a bull in a short time. so this is where an amateur trader and investor gets experience to be able to overcome every mistake
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 13, 2019, 07:59:40 AM
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??

human nature
I think everyone has a side like that, so it's only natural especially those who have no experience in crypto trading and trading. high profits make many people try to pit their fortunes in this industry as it did in 2017. I don't think there is anything that can prevent natural human nature
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: April 12, 2019, 02:39:23 PM
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and some promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystem

it's very clear and visible to date. there is a lot of crypto left by the developer and his team and then becomes the next shitcoin.
that's why you should be able to make this experience for every investment or trade.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins? on: April 12, 2019, 02:37:36 PM
Hi guys

First of all - i haven't been sending anything to a wrong address, I Always Double check the addresses if not tripple check  Grin

But!
I've been thinking about all those post about people sending their coins to a wrong address - isn't there a way to fix this?  Smiley

What happens if you type in a wrong address and send it? - You probably just lost your coins. Someone might be lucky enough to have this address, otherwise your coins would be stuck in wallet controlled by no one.
Im not sure how the delegation of addresses works, but could i end up with a wallet with x amount of a coin in it just by creating new wallets?

Wallet addresses is a hexadecimal number, which cointains more possible addresses, than humans existing on the earth - Of course not 100% correct beacuse a coins address whould be same lenght +-
which will restrict the possible amount. Why? Because of safety? Or maybe the posibilty to scale the network?

is there any coins with some kind of function that checks if the recieving wallet address has ever been active? If not - Why? would it ruin any kind of privacy/anonymity?

one negligence can have a bad impact, as you say.
we can't change it or get it back, that's the risk and I've experienced it when I first became involved in the crypto industry.
but as other friends say, you have to research and check every time you want to make a transaction or move from the wallet to the other wallet.
