Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?

what is clear is that there will be no right answer, because until now bitcoin still has a large community or maybe in the future its existence will be greater than at present, with mass adoption in all countries.
and I don't think it ends quickly or in the next few decades

1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: March 08, 2019, 01:09:29 PM
With all the buzz lately of governments cracking down on cryptocurrencies, there has been fear among people with regards to Bitcoin and altcoins. This is one of the many reasons why 2018 experienced a sharp decline in the value of the whole crypto market, leaving many wonder the outcome of a complete government crackdown towards Bitcoin and other cryptos in the future.

As such, what do you think will happen with Bitcoin if all the governments of the world ban it? Will it collapse after the massive crackdown on every single cryptocurrency? Or will it survive? AFAIK, Bitcoin is largely dependent on nodes distributed geographically. The Internet is controlled by ISPs which are subject to government demands. If a global government crackdown happens, then the growth of Bitcoin and other cryptos might stale for sure.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

I think differently from you.
I am sure that in time, crypto will be adopted by all countries in the world along with the development of the era, especially in technological matters.
and the global government's problem with banning, is just as big and most of it is wanting to monopolize the crypto trade.
for example, JP Morgan strictly prohibits bitcoin and crypto but eventually they adopt crypto even though it does not have its characteristics
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a better store of value than gold on: March 08, 2019, 01:04:11 PM

I agree, but the problem is not just as you say.
however, everyone has a different perspective, especially for virtual currencies such as bitcoin. every risk always exists, because both contain elements of money that are not small.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption: Don't just sit down, do something on: March 07, 2019, 12:38:45 PM
We all want bitcoin to be globally adopted right, you want to be able to use your bitcoin as a currency to buy foodstuffs, goods or service in your local community then what are you doing to encourage that? No one here can tell me that he/she hasn't sold anything before, so you have no excuse of not accepting bitcoin in exchange for what you sold be it your books, gadget or anything salable expect you never knew of bitcoin then.
I walked into my barbers shop yesterday then notice something was different (i took a closer look at what was printed on the A4 paper pasted on the notice board and it reads "We now accept Bitcoin & ETH as payment options" it went on to explain that ETH will be accepted for the $2 and below fees and bitcoin accepted for fees above that. It gave me joy because I was the one who introduced him to bitcoin few years back. As an act of encouragement I have promise to promote his business both online and in popular blockchain related gathering I attend.
Few of my previously sold gadget monetary value were received in cryptocurrency and i have come to realize if we want the world to take us seriously we have to act ourselves so I'm encouraging the service providers and others we have on forum to start accepting bitcoin, charity begins at home.

I appreciate what you do, but the real problem is always a scourge in every level of difficulty. in my country, it is very difficult to be true, because until now bitcoin or crypto is still not legalized. so this is the main factor. As for the other things, because of the weak selling value in the market, this lowers many concerns for beginners or new investors
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: March 06, 2019, 11:56:52 AM
DJ Khaled and Mayweather had an issue about shilling an ICO. And other celebrities hyping or promoting scam coins. Who would actually rely on their words? If you're listening to celebs then you are not ready for this type of market at all.

We all know that this is a developer strategy to attract sympathy, especially for new investors, and in fact it is a joke. because celebs don't know about crypto or bitcoin.
so this is where you have to use your experience and knowledge even more in every investment speculation
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan 2017 - 2019 on: March 06, 2019, 11:53:20 AM

I think there are many of my friends who say that what will be done by JP Morgan will only be the next shitcoin.
however this is good for crypto adoption by banks. although some experts say that JP Morgan does not have characteristics for crypto
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 05, 2019, 11:25:52 AM
The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?

The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

at the moment eth competition is stronger with xrp, in the last few months eth and xrp positions have changed. although this is from the effects of decreases and corrections that often occur. But I see a lot of news for XP for the next few months. and the possibility of the price can soar, it is not impossible to replace the eth position again
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is getting green and is improving? on: March 05, 2019, 11:22:54 AM
Well, it seems like the crypto market has started to improve and we can see together until now. Ethereum reached the price of $ 144, I observed rapid movements. My question is, how long will conditions continue to grow and at least not decline next week. Hopefully it doesn't go down.
Thank you,

I think the current situation is very difficult to predict, especially in every long growth that you question.
I don't see there are many indications that will make bullrun happen quickly. Market patterns are still difficult to guess in its growth, especially there are always corrections that occur
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What choices will you take now ? on: December 29, 2018, 02:07:00 PM
What do you do with your junk coins? almost all new Altcoin don't have good prices to make a profit.
Will there be a rule about a good project that doesn't produce junk coins? Disappointing. Undecided

there is not much I can do but hold back the truly potential to grow in the future. I think everyone does the same thing as I do. this is not easy, because the market situation tends to be in the red trend. I trade to take small profits with local currency. the rest I waited until the situation returned to normal.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: December 29, 2018, 02:04:11 PM

I suggest, you should choose for the top 10 altcoins.
and if you do a short trade, maybe with a temporary growth situation you can make a small profit.
or you can choose eth and even eos ripple. yes, in my opinion
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: December 28, 2018, 09:40:22 AM
Ever since the market went red, have you guys received any tokens from the bounty campaigns you have joined? In my case, I haven't received any and I've asked the devs of the projects that I have participated in and they told me that they are following their roadmap and focusing on their product. Are you in the same situation as me?

yes, I think this is a natural thing. there are many ico developers who cancel distribution rewards for bounty campaigns. I guess this is to avoid the dump. Try to note that there are no altcoins that really can survive, especially those just entering the exchange, surely the price will dump and become dust
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 27, 2018, 02:49:36 PM
1. Speculative/trading/buying coins hoping to get rich.

2. As a medium of exchange, currency to buy stuff just like you would for money.

3. As a means in itself to make money, i.e mining.

Also why did you get into bitcoin?

1. You were one of the first movers? You thought it was cool, interesting, you were here from the start?
2. Revolutionary ideas that it's going to change the world, banking system, etc.
3. You were just curious and then the more you looked into it, you saw how cool it was and promising(me).
4. Speculation, wanting to get rich.

I think everything is interconnected, from all the questions and answers that you give are always related to each other. this is the fact
Bitcoin is always used in terms of trade and that is the most important thing. As for online stores that can pay to use Bitcoin, it cannot be separated from innovations that have been developed. so I think the most important part is the knowledge and experience to speculate whatever you are planning
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do you participant in Airdrops? on: December 26, 2018, 01:34:15 PM
Obvisouly for the free tokens, but other than that, what else incentivise you taking the time to do the airdrops? Most of the time, I found that the airdrops often give little to no return. I just started to get into the crypto thingy. I feel like it is better off finding those ICO projects and considering investing in rather than chasing like 5 dollars?

I don't think the goal is like that, and if you want big and large profits, why don't you try to trade or invest?
so try to use a more rational mind
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy value and not price on: December 26, 2018, 01:28:11 PM
Buying a coin because it is cheap is not a wise thing to do, the reason being that you might not know what the lowest price could be. It is possible you buy and the price continues to fall. So instead of buying with the price in consideration, buy the value. A coin with value will have good products. A product that is needed by investors and those who would like to use it. Although, you might be fortunate to buy it at low price, which then increases your chances of having more profits.

that's why you have to understand more about market patterns, especially in every market assessment, it's not easy indeed. because this really requires patience, especially in terms of technical analysis
studying and observing is a must if you want to speculate especially for fast trading
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trouble of Altcoins on: December 22, 2018, 02:29:10 PM
Friends today I checked the market in the morning and it's just awful, falling, falling, and falling again. What altcoins do you think should be kept from top 10 or buy or drop part of the portfolio and keep only Bitcoin and possibly Ethereum that has fallen? As much as I understand this year it's better to hold?

Prolonged market correction does not provide many options for the right choice, especially for altcoins
because after all bitcoin is very binding on market movements, therefore both growth and decline will have a major effect on all crypto traded
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 21, 2018, 10:23:41 AM
We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?

it seems that it is still too early to conclude that bullrun will occur, because I don't think there is a really strong indication to ensure that. maybe it's best to do a short trade.
but I think at the beginning of next year the market will be more reliable

of course this is common especially when the market is in turmoil. this was to prevent the dump after entering the exchange, I followed a number of signature campaigns and to date have not been paid. there are many delays until the ico team decides which rewards are distributed
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What needs to happen in 2019 for the market to recover? on: December 20, 2018, 01:37:24 PM
I read a tweet this morning saying: "In 2018 everyone wanted to be in crypto. In 2019, we will find out who really wants to be in crypto."

Who's ready to invest in 2019?

2019 - a year for more applications? More useful use cases? Proper token economics?

I know the Elrond Network team will be here in 2019 - buidling as always Smiley

there are many opportunities for growth that will occur next year, yes we can examine the number of Q4 that are running. plus now there is a lot more profitable news on crypto trading, but again I say.
the market will need a long enough time to recover as in the previous year
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: December 20, 2018, 01:35:09 PM
Today bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, eos, has gone up over by 12% gain on coinmarketcap over 9billion dollar has been trown into the market in less than 6hours.. is this the pump?? Are we looking at a bull run??

I'm not sure, but we all hope that growth will be even stronger at the end of this year. I don't see any indication for bullrun occurring in the next few days, but my estimate could be wrong.
I still have to analyze it
