not anymore, the rise of 1337 brought many new people to 1337 and the team thats working on 1337 has grown quite bigger. on top of that, i finally found someone who can help me with the payment processor for the website so most of it will be automated.

This is just an example of what is possible with a bit of funds and some goodwill. Not only does it benefit the Fold At Home Project, it only gives people an easy way to earn some 1337. there will be no swap. 1337 CAN be used for the w00t ICO but you dont HAVE to. ive heard many concerns about this. mostly from the newer investors. there is nothing to worry about actually. i dont think there is much demand for it anymore now that we are at a much higher price level than not so long ago with 1337. i could be wrong and maybe people are waiting with big anticipation. or maybe ppl are glad now that they didnt get a chance to get w00t earlier because the price of 1337 went to the moon?

transactions between old and new chain shouldnt be possible after everything has settled. this is not a block halving like with bitcoin. they use a certain blocknumber, 1337 uses a certain epochtime. if your new wallet isnt synching after a while, close it, go to your 1337 folder and delete everything except wallet.dat file and restart the wallet again. it will start to re-synch from the beginning.

go to debug window/console/type repairwallet/hit enter/restart wallet

in that case;

D. one of the 2 isnt updated or fully synched yet. coinexchange reported that theyve updated already. havent heard from nova yet.

in case A youll need to update your wallet and youll see that the coins that you sent out are still in it. if you send them to nova again AND nova is on the new chain, you should see them appear in your nova balance soon. in case B you need to wait yes

1337 wallet is back online on cryptopia

w00t was meant to save 1337 actually when things were looking much less promising than they look now. i asked the community for their input and feedback and put it up for a vote. Halving of the APR of 1337 was also something that was suggested by the community. not sure where your 51% comes from but i made it clear that all w00t that wasnt used for the ICO/Swap would be send to an provable unspendable address after the swap period of 3 months. also the 1337 that would be used for the ICO/Swap would get burned in the same way. i would not make any gains from this. in fact, its going to be a major headache for me for the coming months BUT its something i promised to the community and i will stick to my word.

did you compile your own linux qt wallet? some linux users are experiencing this problem. i would advice you to use windows virtual machine for now.

As for about the halving an how it works, its a complicated process and the network will block nodes from older versions and it will need to reconnect so you might see low connections. you might even see other strange things happening in your wallet. dont worry, your coins are safe and everything will be back to normal within a day or so if not sooner.
