141  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey Caramels **VALENTINE'S DAY 10% OFF!!** on: February 10, 2014, 10:28:33 PM
Got the remainder of the night reserved for cooking and getting packages sent off.

A package going to the east coast needs to be shipped by Tuesday,  the west coast by Wednesday in order to arrive on Valentine's Day.
142  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey Caramels **VALENTINE'S DAY 10% OFF!!** on: February 08, 2014, 01:32:52 AM
Do the regular honey caramels contain traces of nuts?

We have separate equipment that we use for the almond honey caramels, but the almonds are stored in the same room (in a closed container).

If we are making or wrapping the almond caramels, we do them last after the non-nut items are put away.  Almonds are the main nut we use, but there is a small amount of pecans and sunflower seeds at the kitchen.

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed the various products I've eaten this week made by the bees bros. The honey roasted almonds are something else, going to be ordering alot more shortly! The raw honey in a jar is lovely too with some fresh pancakes.

Thanks alot Bees bros

Your welcome, and thank you.

Trying to score on another 200 lbs. of almonds.  The honey roasted almonds keep selling as fast as we can buy them, and almond prices keep going up an up...

149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charitable Giving Question - Not Request for funds on: January 17, 2014, 08:58:08 PM
What if the focus of the charity was to actually go out and get more charitable organization to accept bitcoins?

Something like this?

We are in the area this week and it looks like we will be able to attend and hear Andreas' presentation.

Got my 45 boxes for christmas gifts. Thanks!

We have done big orders before for stores or a convention, but that was our biggest order to an individual.
Have fun driving around delivering the presents! Cool

beesbrothers.com appears to have expired according to godaddy!  Is there a new website to place orders from?

Thanks for that reminder!  We've been so busy that we totally forgot to renew it.  Fixed that.

Beesbrothers.com just sends to BeesBros.com.

153  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey Caramels on: December 16, 2013, 03:30:43 AM
Just ordered some Salt Caramels, Raspberry Caramels, and assorted honey caramels. Shipping was a bit steep at $16.50 but the website says "We try to charge actually costs for shipping, but that is not possible with the way the cart is set up.  If there is a large discrepancy between charged and actual shipping costs, we will refund the difference." so I assume that will happen. Can't wait to get my order! Grin

Yes, we will return the excess shipping charges.  Just be aware, we are swamped with orders and running behind.  Spending every extra moment at the kitchen cooking.  After we get the orders shipped, we will start on refunding the overpayments on the shipping.

We were late in leaving town.  Got up early and got 50 orders shipped out before we left.  Feel bad leaving with so many orders still to do...

Checked in at the MGM  (they put us on the 12 floor too...way at the end of the hallway.

I created an event on Facebook for those that would like to meet up and grab some beers on Monday night.

Suggestions for an alternate location are welcome.

Heh, I'd go, but I'm 15.  Maybe lunch on Tuesday?

We got the same thing...a 15 and 13 year old...
Maybe Circus Circus?  (just kidding  Wink )
Hah!  I'll probably see them when I pick up my honey!

By the way, do you want to be paid in BTC or cash?  If cash, you better have change!  Cheesy

Cash?  Do people still use that?
I guess we had better bring some so we can get some dinner.

Which ever you prefer.

We had an overwhelming amount of orders come in this week!!

We are cranking them out as fast as we can, but you can only make them so fast.

Our goal is to get all the Bitcoin Black Friday orders out by the end of the week.

We suspect that the vast majority of the orders placed were not by forum members...another sign that bitcoin adoption is growing in other venues around the world.

Thanks everyone.
157  Economy / Marketplace / Re: the Official "look at what I bought" on Bitcoin Friday thread. on: December 03, 2013, 03:34:03 PM
I can't be specific, cause I bought some cool Christmas gifts, and the recipients frequent this forum.
In total about 5 btc was spent.

A couple days before BBF, our fridge started going out (its a very old fridge). Wife picked out the a real nice one at Lowes. Paid with bitcoin > gift card > fridge..and getting installed right this minute.
