6341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does not it bother anyone that BTC value increasing too fast? on: November 16, 2013, 09:52:24 PM
Don't worry, the wild value swings is an everyday occurrence in Bitcoin. I was actually amazed by how stable the price was at around $100. Tongue

Gta V is a good game. Now I have had chance to play it. I liked it and it may be in my top 20.
I saw the gameplay. Too bad it's not on PC. Undecided

You do know you're spamming the blockchain? Sending constant payments of outputs lower then 0.0000543 BTC isn't good for the coin. And I think your 2nd transaction includes outputs as low as 0.00001 BTC. I tried the script for my site, so trust me, I know. You should get someone to modify the script so it would stop spitting out dust,
I have it set to only send payouts once a week.
Well, I don't think it really is 100% effective as there were multiple outputs of dust in your 2nd transaction.
6344  Other / Meta / Re: Where can we sell shares? Whats the best sub forum? on: November 16, 2013, 04:23:11 PM
Well, go have a look at Securities. I only see people issuing shares. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Why does it seem like a freaking manager for stolen CCs? I already imagine crooks, organizing them: stolen business CCs, stolen personal CCs... Undecided

So what happens to all of the mining pools? I have gHz over at CEX. What will happen?
Well, by that time, the bitcoin value will be really high so there will be no difference. The profits by miner's will be received from transaction fees. Also, the 21M cap is so far away, you don't have to worry. This chart is a prediction if a block is created perfectly every 10 mins.

As you see, even by 2033, we shouldn't reach the 21M cap. Also, Cex.io will probably have closed down by then.
6347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 12.000000M BTC! on: November 16, 2013, 02:45:40 PM
What happens after the mining BTC reaches its cap?
The new blocks won't include any bitcoin, just fees from transactions.

Please $500 reach me before you hit 0  Embarrassed
It won't ever reach 0.

Why not? There is always a chance that Bitcoin will just die...
I agree. No matter what chance, there's always a possibility for anything to happen. Even though that chance might be lower than 0.000000000000...1%, but it still exists.

In many cases mods on consoles would cause massive lag. The game, created on a console, is usually optimized for use without changes. If it was prepared for mods, the game may have to be stripped of some features and advanced graphics. For example, Skyrim's graphic mods, hunger, thirst and sleep deprivation mods and pretty much any others that add more mechanics. Also it would be pretty tedious to troubleshoot the mod without full access to the files and limited computing resources. However, it can be done, just not for every game.

True. If game developers included moding from the start and did sanity checks on mode to ensure they don't exceed performance limits it would be great, not many do that but its getting better.
Some devs (not sure which ones) were recently thinking of including mods for their game on XBOX 360 however they dropped the idea due to performance issues. There are simply some games which are too performance-heavy to include modding. Though that might change with the next gen consoles.

Haha maybe that's the explaination Tongue. I never understood fanboyism (not calling him a fanboy). Some people just defend their brand of choice, without even giving something else a chance. I prefer consoles but I can really understand why people prefer PC. GTA4 is a great example of that. The amount of mods for that game are just unreal, the modders improved the game by miles!
Well, some people, like myself, who play on a PC simply don't like consoles since they have worse graphics in most cases, not so many games (especially the free ones from small devs) and the restrictions of not being able to mod your game if it's possible on PC. It's just that some people express their opinions differently than others.

I think the whole modding thing is a decision from the developers. Unreal Tournament III did allow modding on the PS3 and X360. Installing mods could easily be done using a USB stick. Too bad more developers don't allow it, since modding can improve a game significantly. Take Skyrim for example....

Guild war 2 currently, waiting for new fun MMORPG...
My friend has been playing it for a while. Is it fun? Do those world-vs-world battles actually happen?

A practical solution to the cryptolocker virus issue:

1) Pay the ransom. Word on the street is that when the ransom is paid within the time frame the data is unencrypted
2) Back up the data to an offline storage
3) This is the most critical step Replace Microsoft Windows with GNU/Linux and propriety software with Free Libre Open Source software. This has the following advantages:
   a) It prevents any further infection from cryptolocker
   b) It allows the victim to recover the cost of the ransom over time by not paying for proprietary operating systems, proprietary software and proprietary "security" solutions
   c) It helps deter further criminal activity of this nature by removing one potential victim from an operating system that has over time been proving to be notorious for malware, viruses and the like.
If you are a gamer, the choice to go over to Linux isn't really an option. Some software is just made for Windows. Sad

Karma buying is the best strategy... knowing when to stop is the only other skill needed to profit
Man, I wish I was there. With the current exchange rate, a gift of 2 BTC definitely won't get in the way.

was there a ps4 - xbox one thread /vote?

or are they both expected to be disappointments?

Both disappointments. But xbox is far worse.

How is the PS4 a disappointment (apart from the issue with the analog sticks)?
Maybe in a way that PCs surpassed them before they were even out? Or the hype: people expected a freaking gaming angel to come and instead they just got a console. They expected more than it was possible.

I doubt people will actually expect the PS4 to surpass a PC. Calling it a disappointment less then 24 hours after the launch isn't really a constructive comment imo. The sales numbers will probably say otherwise. I think the PS4 is a really promosing consoles, with great exclusives in development. PC will always be superior when it comes to graphics/possibilities, but I'll always prefer a console.
Well, you are looking from the console gamer's standpoint, while he stands at the PC gamer's standpoint. Add in some grumpy character, a bad day and some love for bitcoin and here you go: a post, quoted above. Smiley

The more attention you give him, the more fun it is. Just press the ignore button under his name, and he'll won't bother you anymore.

Thanks, what that ignore button exactly does? People will see his posts at my threads but me not?
You simply won't see any of his info (or the content of the post for that matter) while looking at a post excluding his username and, well, the fact that he posted something.
