1041  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [GUIDE] How to Sign/Verify message in NEW Blockchain Wallet on: October 06, 2016, 06:23:28 PM
I am missing something or it is no longer possible to sign message from new HD Blockchain.info wallet? That 'more options' tab is missing.
You simply can't sign/verify messages anymore - is there some hidden option to enable this option once again?

Well you are surely missing something because we can easily sign message from NEW Blockchain.info wallet.
Well if your More Options tab is missing try refreshing your wallet or use different browser. Because its working at my side i just checked it.

Sorry, but your favorite bitcoin game is currently under maintenance.

We promise that we'll keep it as short as possible!

Bets sent during downtime will be processed once LuckyBit is restarted. We guarantee that no bets will be lost.

I question how long to wait for the site reopened?

It depends on them i guess usually it takes 3-5 days but this time it has taken long time. Better you "Private Message" BRE about this he will guide you in a better way and will tell you how long you have to wait!

Fuck that Bro, i want my 0.18 btc back. already 9 days and still on maintenance? Its sound SCAM for me.
Or are the admin using a 10kbps internet speed to backup?

Don't use that kind of words?
Luckyb.it is the most trusted site for me and i am sure your money will not be lost and the bet will be played as soon as the site is up so peace. They must be mixing and i guess now after this maintenance our bets will be played immediately without any confirmation.
I guess we will see HH OR CH soon Tongue .
1045  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: October 06, 2016, 09:42:25 AM
That's not what I meant. I mean the bitcoin itself is already complete and just some minors issues to be resolved like network, confirmation time etc.

You state the bitcoin in one's life. That is already out of the context of technical aspect in bitcoin. It's community role to develop that thing you mentioned and not the bitcoin itself like the one you mentioned of holding coins and using different online transaction.

For me,the confirmation is the one problem for now.It will take more than 30 minute or more for getting one confirmation. This is why most of the seller or merchant in shop, not like to take bitcoin as a payment. At least,we need to have one confirmation to ensure the payment is complete.

In future you will be able to buy things even with a 0 confirmation, once incoming transaction will appear in merchant's wallet then he won't make you to wait till it gets confirmed.

Well how? How in future? The risk of getting double-spend will be the same can you please explain how we can buy the things even our transaction have 0 confirmation? It's kind of impossible everyone waits for 1 confirmation at least, and wait till the transaction appears in network.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: October 06, 2016, 08:31:33 AM
If I had the skill then I maybe would try it but I do not even know where to begin with. I am earning my Bitcoin in a free way so I am goin gto make money fair and square.
Hacking is not my thing and it will never be my thing.

It cannot be hacked ever if you area able to do then everyone will lose faith in bitcoins and will stop using it and eventually bitcoins will die i hope no one tries to hack the bitcoin if he knows hacking then he should stay anonymous however its not possible.

Site is Upgraded. Now it works more faster than ever. Please check and give us your valuable Feedbacks.

Yea its working really faster then previous version the new upgrade is awesome now we don't need to go to other page for the payment (which sometimes opens or sometimes not opens). So this upgrade is really good and really appreciated your work i have tried it several times but i guess you put 1 confirmation to confirm the payment and to process the order right? (Because its not instant but after 1 Confirmation Top-up is received)

It's coinbase, if you pay with coinbase it's instant, if it's any other bitcoin wallet, they wait until they can be sure there is no double spend. It's not necessarily 1 confirmation, sometimes they don't wait for it, but in most cases they do and it was like that for the past 2 years.

I don't know its happening to me now maybe because my wallet putted low fees? Before the upgrade my all top-ups are instant if i don't receive any topup instantly i had to write email to you.

Gambling is not an investment or a method to earn BTC imo since it's just random playing and can result in losses as well as profits and not like trading with an edge but the opposite with an edge against the player... Get paid to sites are profitable if you are in the US but faucets are rarely giving any decent profit.

Gambling is surely not an place to earn bitcoins but its a place to loose bitcoins and it is the most risky way to depend on earning bitcoins, if you are a safe player then best choice for you is signature campaign.

Well if you have extra money and just want to throw away then you should gamble. If you have high bankroll and afford bitcoins to lose then you can gamble. As earning bitcoin with higher bets easier then go from lower to high but the risk of losing a big amount of bitcoins is high too. But at the end it always depends on how much you can afford to lose. BTW its not the way to earn bitcoins.

Why the thread has been removed did you talked with any one of moderators?  Or did they gave you any reasom for doing that?
I guess this is a bitcoin related forum that is why it is removed.
Well only one thread about "Stake Your Altcoin Address" will cover all the altcoins so it must be on board.

@ja23 why don't you stake any bitcoin address it isn't so hard!

I was able to speak to someone quite a while later and they indicated it was due to this being a BitCoin forum and there is already a "Stake your Wallet Address" thread.

So no Alt Coin staking here (just mention one from time to time in a relevant thread post).

So it means that altcoins will be or must be staked here no need to create a thread for "Stake your Altcoin Address" and the name of this thread must be Stake Yiur Address not Bitcoin Address.

Btw good luck everyone.
1051  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: October 03, 2016, 04:34:11 AM
Does it have to be a Bitcoin address? I just tried to unlock my locked account with an NXT address that was posted in a post from my old account.

Well the topics says "Stake your bitcoin address" So yes it has to be bitcoin address.  I don't know that it can be possible too with NXT Address because we have to sing message with it too. Does NXT addresses allow us to sign messages?

Yes, I was able to post my current user name, my former user name, today's date and sent the link to a mod. Along to the link where I posted that address two years ago.

I twice started a "Stake your AltCoin Wallet Address and it was twice removed by "BitCoin Forum", so it would seem very likely that staking another coin's wallet address would get the same kind of reception (the thread link is in my signature)...

Why the thread has been removed did you talked with any one of moderators?  Or did they gave you any reasom for doing that?

1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: October 02, 2016, 05:59:44 PM
Well Wow, If a person can hack a bitcoin network why should he only takes 50 Bitcoins and pays the rest 950 bitcoins to him instead there are many addresses with many thousands bitcoins in it why don't hacker hack it and takes the bitcoins.

it is not possible to hack the bitcoin network. You can hack somebody's computer and take some bitcoin.

Exactly, What i am saying is no one can hack the bitcoin network if anyone can hack it then bitcoins must be dead by now! Also now-a-days people are clever enough to protect their computers from hackers. So its not as easy as its sees.

1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: October 02, 2016, 02:06:22 PM
Yes it can be considered as sickness but it can be cured also like just save your money in cold wallet? and forget to touch that wallet for a month and then withdraw to your local bank when you need it?
And yes, I agrees with OP that we win in first but when we get greedy we get aggressive we lost all. Like happened with me i won a few bitcoins then i get greedy i just lost that all bitcoins in 15 seconds. Better stay away from gambling.

I do not think you can cure gambling addiction just by keeping away your money or resources. As long as you are the one who controls the location and access of your money, you will be prone to cheat your own protocol and continue to gamble. It takes more than that to cure gambling addiction specially if it has is a long time addiction. And probably you cannot cure yourself, you need your friends and a professional to help you get out of gambling.

Well you know i cured myself when i lost 3+ bitcoin in just a day i just lost my head. So i just stopped gambling i got out from bitcoin and came back after 5-6 months. From then if i want to gamble i just gamble small amounts like 0.01-0.02 just for fun. When a person loses money in gambling more then he can afford then i guess he will stop. The best way is getting yourself busy in something like in the company of friends? When i get free i get some lectures online or in some organization.

the best way to generate a bitcoin is, the signature campaign. I think it is the safest and the best, besides following the sig camp, you can also get a lot of information about bitcoin
I learnt its the safest and the lowest form of earnings on the bitcoin. To earn more you risk more, but it is advised to put the only amount you can afford to lose and wont only break you but kill you.

There is no risk in earning bitcoins, more you work, more you earn and risk is always in investing them at any place as there is no assurance that you will make profits from it.

Investing bitcoin have become headache nowadays as there are not many places whom we can trust and we may loose all our investments in long run as majority of them will scam you.

The one and best only investment with assured return of money is investing yourself your bitcoins in altcoins in trading but at low sell at high but you really need some good skills in trading otherwise you will lose your bitcoins yourself. however all the mining sites all the investments sites of bitcoins ends up by scamming.

The best way to earn bitcoins is start offering your service like if you are good at anything go to services section post your service and asks the users to pay in bitcoin (well that's a bitcoin community so you will be get paid in bitcoins). Do micro jobs for people and collect bitcoins. Otherwise join signature campaign/twitter campaign too that's just an extra money. Always keep an eye on services tab.
beware of phishing site, though, so you don't get your profile easily doxxed even if your fund is lost.

there are certain methods to get your wage in bitcoin, IIRC. Smiley
btw, do you have enough time to make posts in bitcoin for a signature campaign? it is as well a great way here.

It is not about time, It is about threads. There should be some interesting threads about bitcoins so you can post and get knowledge too by reading the thread not threads like "Which song you are listening to" "How to gamble" etc. This kind of information can be found on wikipedia easily.
