I thought I was reading about bASIC 2.0 with these new excuses.

For people that paid by paypal, make sure you are still in your 120 day chargeback window for Visa and Mastercard.  As you have probably seen in the bASIC thread, some people couldn't get their money back because they were past the 120 day mark.

I paid as guest and Walletbit slowly timed out waiting for a first confirmation and kicked me back to the order page on Avalon Asic store.  My coins are also gone now and I have sent a ticket hoping I can at least get them back if the order never went through.

any DHL updates?  I know people were calling and asking if there were any inbound packages to their zip code/name etc.

I think you would be justified to say the delivery date was in December so you should qualify.  I still have the screenshots of the forums on bitcoinasic if needed.

I have to admit BFL is clearer for their products.  I don't feel that horrible missing out on Avalon batch 2 now.

I'm guessing Walletbit was chosen because they take the juice from the buyer whereas the other processors charge the seller.

well not cancelling placeholder amounts would be unfair to those that saw it but knew something was obviously wrong

same here.  I had the 0.05 BTC on my walletbit so I went back and now it seems I self-owned myself.  I had the chance to put in all of my address and contact info so I hope Team Avalon sees it on their side.

maybe they will honor the price error!

I still hope Tom will come clean and describe what exactly happened over the past 4 months to have to the project end up like this in the end.  At this point, it seems bASIC is out of the game and talking about it likely won't preserve any competitive advantage anymore.

Makes sense as it's a stand alone unit.  When quoting BFL's numbers, no one includes the PC it's hooked up to either.

True, this makes long term earnings a bit murkier now but there's still gonna be enough ppl who missed these power figures and buy anyways.

I don't think it's that crazy to expect some bugs in the first batch.  Hmm...should we wait for the kinks to be fully worked out first- mind you these units haven't been stressed tested in real-world conditions yet as they probably just rolled off the factory floor.
