Hi Tom I'm sure you are likely swamped by bASIC stuff, but I was wondering if you had a chance to get my PM regarding my orders.  Thank you and I look forward to further updates and information with your product.

any eta on a custom client?  It seems to defeat the point of loyalty points if people are getting them via FPGAs.
263  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Buy BFL Now a Good Idea? on: October 02, 2012, 06:04:42 AM
BFL's success is both a pro and con for the customer.  You know you'll probably get a good working product, but the lineup for it means you may get it way later than you want.
264  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: What will happen to all the "traditional" mines once the new ASIC based miners on: October 01, 2012, 07:40:15 PM
I'm surprised not more people are using Coinlab to hedge their GPU mining.
265  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining (temporarily) on the testnet with 1GH/s for fun on: October 01, 2012, 12:12:26 PM
Mining on it for fun just makes it harder for others to test for real.  Plus you get nothing for it so why do it?

Maybe start taking a shower and those black spots will stop accumulating.

It's advertising and lets BFL know that they don't hold sway over everyone.  I'm not sure why it's disappointing?
268  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7990? Guess on cost, power usage, output? on: October 01, 2012, 02:05:41 AM
any test screen shots to show how it mines?

are we able to add more units to a previous order to save the shipping charge of a new order?

272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Qt/bitcoind version 0.7.0 released on: September 23, 2012, 05:26:38 PM
I am having trouble copy and pasting addresses into Pay to box when trying to send BTC in that it won't even give me the option to paste despite it being in the clipboard and working for all other applications.  .  Reverting to 0.63 works again for me.

I'm on windows 7 x64.

Hi Tom,

if I were to place a bASIC order now, do you think it will still be shipped with the first batch?  Thanks.

are you still taking on new miners?  I only have 3 GH/s but would love to be a part of your pool.
276  Economy / Goods / Re: [ANN] BTCGear.com - Get Your BitCoin Hat Now! (now w/ Gunnar Optiks) on: September 04, 2012, 07:19:08 PM

277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ModMiner Quad High Efficiency FPGA Bitcoin Mining Devices 840Mh/s BTCFPGA.com on: September 03, 2012, 10:24:08 PM
Thousands of ppl gave their money hand over fist to BFL in nonrefundable BTC when they didn't have a prototype.  I think BTCFPGA's product should be held to the same.
278  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ModMiner Quad High Efficiency FPGA Bitcoin Mining Devices 840Mh/s BTCFPGA.com on: September 03, 2012, 09:34:57 PM
I look forward to more news and am eagerly awaiting more solid details before I plunk down the cash.  It's great that we have a solid competitor to BFL.
279  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: **FOUND** 2 x1>x16 riser cables on: July 13, 2012, 12:25:52 PM
Received.  Cables work great.  Thanks for the smooth transaction.
280  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: July 02, 2012, 03:56:00 PM
Finally snapped a good shot of my rig. Smiley

Currently 2x 5870 and 2x 5830. I have a 5850 in the mail, and I'm trying to grab a third 5870, in which case I'll sell one of the 5830's.

Would you be able to show a couple more pics just so I can see how you built it.  Love the clean simple design.
