That's fine, understandable even. Hopefully over time we will come to be a trusted provider within the community. I don't expect that to happen overnight. I am a firm believer in the potential for the future of PoS crypto, and plan on working to perfect dedicated staking devices for years to come.

I would also like to chime in here. I think that inyereye raised some very valid points that should be addressed, not just ignored. Your response, telling him to "get your shit and get out" is wholly inappropriate. We are all human, we all screw up. What sets us apart is some of us have the ability to own up to our mistakes, apologize, make things right, and move on. Hopefully you, Shawn Kent, can be one of those people, that is the type of dev and community leader this coin needs. If you want to bring more investors into the fold you will need to change your current M.O.

I see a lot of potential with this coin, we have a network with a 20MB block size that functions perfectly. Now instead of hyping your investment in actual beans with all kinds of silly pictures, go and figure out how we can put that 20MB block size to good use and I think you will see people begin to sing your praise, rather than call you out for your misdeeds. Once you have a track record of setting and achieving goals feel free to post all the pictures of your breakfast, or pantry, or whatever.

Maybe get us that updated roadmap we were told would come, but don't set goals you can't keep. If the next thing you complete won't be for several months be honest about it. If you get something done ahead of schedule, that's much better than months behind, with constant promises of soon, or next week.

I hold over 4 million BITB, not that that should make a difference, but I'm just throwing that out there since you foolishly seem to care more about those with a sizable holding.

From a fresh install of Raspbian, execute "git clone https://github.com/stakebox/LiteDoge" and "git clone https://github.com/stakebox/extra-libs", that will get you the wallet binary and the additional libraries.

This is compiled against libdb5.3, to get that you need to use the debian jessie repos. Execute "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list", in the first line change "wheezy" to "jessie", then press control+x to close, then "y" to save, and then press enter to accept the location. Execute "sudo apt-get update" and then "sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev". There are some services that will be needed to be restarted, you will be met with a prompt asking if you would like them to be restarted automatically, just select yes and press enter.

After this, you should change your source back to wheezy, just "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list" again and change "jessie" back to "wheezy", and then "sudo apt-get update" again.

Now simply copy the files in the extra-libs folder you downloaded into /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf with "sudo cp -a extra-libs /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf". Go ahead and fire up the LiteDoge wallet.

As far as promoting LiteDoge PoS mining on my website, I don't promote any coins in particular. I am looking to provide people who don't want to muck around with all of the jumping through hoops with a plug and play staking device for any PoS coin they want, not to support any individual coin. I make my work available freely to anyone who doesn't mind getting down and dirty and doing the work themselves via GitHub. I feel like promoting LiteDoge is outside the scope of the bounty, which remember is only worth slightly more than $2. If you disagree, than that is fine, enjoy the freebie.

    A new dedicated staking device is now available, the StakeBox. Are you tired of worrying if the web browsing, or other activities you do on your home computer may be putting your coins at risk? Cryptocurrencies are a prime target for hackers, and all varieties of malware. All of your online activities on your computer that is also hosting your wallet are a potential vector of attack on your precious coins. Interesting, I never saw their product. At first glance it would seem that you are half right, it does initially appear to be half the price, not sure what you think makes it's better though. The half price appearance falls apart when you attempt to order one. First, it seems that there is no way to actually get one for $50. Clicking on the custom configured staker option the price quickly changes to $60, that will get you the staker with an 8 GB micro SD and one wallet of the 4 coins that you can select, it doesn't even include a case. It is hard to make an apples to apples comparison between this product and ours, as 2 wallets seems to be the most they allow for and they seem to charge $5 per wallet. The prices they list also don't include shipping, a power supply, or the ethernet cable we include with the StakeBox. The closest comparison would have to be their 16 GB staker with 2 custom wallets, a case, and US shipping comes to $93. Then you have to go get a power supply and ethernet cable, lets say you get those things for $7, which seems reasonably inexpensive, you are at $100, the same cost of our product. I would argue that the availability of more wallets, and the lack of a need to source the power supply and ethernet cable would make our product the better deal.

That said, I don't mean to bash their product. It's just that if you want to make a more objective comparison, there it is.

Yes, OS is Raspbian. Correct again on the pre-loading and compiling, and each one is set up custom for each customer. After imaging the micro SD the web interface is set up for the desired coins, then just the wallets requested are thrown on, and set up in an auto-start script.
