Help please? !

I have done everything from the guide but the wallet cannot start because it needs some libraries - this info isnt in the guide and my RasPI2 is fresh installed and up-to-date. Thanks for any help

sudo apt-get install libqt4-core libqt4-gui libqt4-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb5.1++-dev

if u have a problem with socket connection, use this: sudo modprobe ipv6

or you can download compiled wallet from StakeBox:

cd /home/pi
git clone https://github.com/StakeBox/DigiCube
cd DigiCube
sudo chmod 755 DigiCube
./DigiCube

Say thanks to @DigiCube and @Stakebox ,
I had a similar problem to your and they helped me to solve it Smiley

P.S

I do not know why, but my arm wallet has worked to ~120,000 block and after this i received "error, db exception" ,
I used Raspberry Pi B,  u have Raspberry Pi 2, so please let me know if it works with you Smiley

You can also use the wallet from https://github.com/stakebox/DigiCube, it is statically compiled and requires no additional libraries.

As far as the database error, I am not sure, I haven't experienced that issue. I would start by deleting everything in the data directory except the wallet.dat and restart the wallet. It sounds like your copy of the blockchain somehow became corrupted.

We need to make sure Hyperfuture is truly gone before a takeover is discussed. I would say give him 30 days to login, and if he doesnt then consider it abandoned, and open to takeover. Someone will pick this up. Someone with perhaps a massive team with many talented devs.

Vegas

If you are in here, so we could finally see new life here! That Hyper is unsure actually! And that is the reason, that we have to wait and see the direction where Hyper goes, before we add it to staisybit.com!

HYPER is going to have a big year, please add us to your staking web wallet Smiley

Hey there! Long time supporter here.  I made the videos. Put me in the drawing but I'm also going to give my vote to Ranlo for sure.

SO many nice folks on here deserving this unit.

Here's another vote for Ranlo.

Thanks, guys! Smiley. If I win, I'll also be doing a review of it here and on CryptoPlace to help gain more awareness (and will have its primary focus on HYPER, of course).

I vote for Ranlo and Ignatius. Ignatius runs most of our game servers (CSGO etc) and definitely deserves the 2nd stakebox.

What does everyone think?

Yes, also agree, Ranlo and Ignatius should get the Stakeboxes. Thanks for your continued support of HYPER.

Anyone on here using Stakebox for HYPER? How do you like it?

Thank you for the votes everyone.

I do not have a Stakebox but I did get the webui code running on an Ubuntu VPS with only minor changes. It very worked well and the software alone is worth the price of a Stakebox, hopefully he is encouraged to continue development.

That is very cool that you like the WebUI, thanks for your words of encouragement. I have a list of things I would like to add to the WebUI, and am always open to suggestions. I had a pretty busy non-crypto life this holiday season, but now that that is over I am looking to get back to working on it.

I actually already awarded 3 StakeBoxes to members of the HYPER community, ranlo, djhomeschool, and jtnichol. I had a bit of a delay due to running out of SD cards, but they came in today, and I should be shipping them out on Saturday. I feel bad that somehow you got left out, if you are interested let me know, I think I could stand giving one more away.

OK, I got busy yesterday and wasn't able to get in here to post, but here goes...

Obviously, with 6 votes ranlo was in first place, even if it wasn't exactly clear one or two of those votes new what the vote was for. I will be PMing him in a minute about his StakeBox.

the way I see it there were only 2 others who put their names in the hat for a complimentary StakeBox. I was thinking of extending the vote for another week to determine who would get the other one, but in the holiday spirit I am just going to send one to each of them.

Thanks to everyone who voted, and if you still haven't, make sure you stop by and check out the StakeBox at StakeBox.com. It is a small, secure, energy efficient, dedicated staking device. It is also a great way to get new, less technologically inclined folks into crypto, it is completely plug and play, no need to compile or install wallets, create .conf files, or any of the other headaches related to setting up a wallet. Plug it in, go to stakebox.local on your home network, send some coins to the address shown in the WebUI, and watch your balance grow with every stake.

While you are cruising the interwebs, don't forget to check out www.cryptomercado.com, that is djhomeschool's site. He is selling mostly coffee and foods, but you can also buy a StakeBox through him. He accepts a variety of altcoins for his merchandise, including HYPER, you even get a 2% discount when paying with HYPER.

So I was waiting on the OK from HYPERfuture before I posted this here, I didn't want to clog up this thread without his blessing, and his hiatus had things on pause. He is back now and let me know to go for it. So, without further ado.

The HYPER community has been the most responsive of all the coins I have enabled on the StakeBox. I have sold far more StakeBoxes with HYPER on them than any other coin, I really appreciate that. It was while the price was a good deal higher than it is today, but I think it will come back from the recent losses, thanks to a strong community, and a dev who has now welcomed help from said community. To show my thanks, I would like to give 2 StakeBoxes away to members of the HYPER community.

I am not going to choose who gets them, but I will put it to a vote. If you would like to be one of the recipients, post your desire to this thread. The 2 members with the most votes one week from now will be the winners. Don't vote for yourself, think about those who have done the most to help the community and the coin. I would hope that the winners would show their gratitude by reporting back here, and maybe elsewhere, with their thoughts on the StakeBox, though that is not required. If you have no idea what I am talking about you can learn more at StakeBox.com.

Again, thanks for your support, lets work together to get this thing back where it should be.

I have looked at buying Stakebox, but the one question I had after looking over the site is (for other coins), do you have the ability to see your stake weight/network weight and expected time to stake? I know it's not the most accurate thing in the world, but god I enjoy it.

Consider me entered, though.

It depends on the coin. The web UI uses RPC commands to get the information displayed. If you looks through the screenshots you can see the the BitBean wallet shows the information you are inquiring about. Generally, if the Qt wallet displays the staking info when hovering over the leftmost icon in the bottom right corner it is displayed on the main page of the UI. There is also a page where you can see all of the available RPC commands for the wallet and execute them, so any information about the wallet not immediately available in the UI can be accessed pretty easily.

I also became a shareholder, mainly thanks to the promise of dividends. Wondering when we will hear something about that, just like everyone else. If the company wants to sell more of their coins I think something has got to be done in that regard. It has come to the point where ignoring constant questions about dividends, and trying to pump the latest promo is not going to get the desired results.

Oh no, next problem...  Angry Error: Couldn't open socket for incoming connections (socket returned error 97)

That error message is because you need to enable IPv6. You can execute "sudo modprobe ipv6" to enable it instantly. It won't stick through a reboot though, to enable it at startup execute "sudo nano /etc/modules" and add "ipv6", withou quotes, on a line by itself.

Someone uses raspberry wallet?

I have a problem, after install i click on desktop to DigiCubeARM icon and choose "Executable", after that nothing happens. When i click Executable on terminal, terminal show up for a moment and disappears... Is the wallet requires additional packages? I use Raspbian Wheezy and Raspberry PI Rev B2

Thanks for the report. Ok, open terminal in the folder with the Qt (/home/pi/DigiCubeARM) and type:

sudo chmod 755 DigiCubeARM
./DigiCubeARM

Then wait for it to load. This should all be done with the script though. After this, you will be able to double click to open and not require a terminal window to be open. If that doesn't work, we have another build that StakeBox uses: https://github.com/StakeBox/DigiCube - If this one works and mine doesn't, I will adjust the script to use this one instead

To automate the new wallet download, use this:

cd /home/pi
git clone https://github.com/StakeBox/DigiCube
cd DigiCube
sudo chmod 755 DigiCube
./DigiCube

Should work and make it executable so you can double click to open instead of doing so through terminal, although I have not personally tested StakeBox's yet. I use the one on my Github, but I also have my Pi set up with a ton of different stuff so my build might not be as global as I had hoped (totally possible). I'm using Raspian (Wheezy) on a B+

Thanks for fast reply! Actually i tried to run from the terminal and displays the missing package, i installed it and now another missing package... Cheesy
Trying to install all of them and see what will happen next... This error are probably those who do not use any  cryptocurrency wallet  on raspberry.

It's working! Smiley

For future reference, run ldd against the digicube executable you will see the additional libraries that are needed to run it. The wallet atgithub.com/StakeBox/DigiCube is statically compiled and will work without additional libraries in both Rasbian wheezy and jessie.

You can found a bootstrap here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6j9mgq2rcpyldiy/bootstrap%2818-11-15%29.dat?dl=0
Updated to 18-11-15
You need to rename it to bootstrap.dat

Very cool, I really appreciate it.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CAPT] CAPTcoin on: November 20, 2015, 07:40:27 PM
Can anyone upload a bootstrap somewhere, I have a customer who has requested a CAPTcoin wallet for the StakeBox, you can learn more about it at StakeBox.com. I have the wallet compiled, but it has been syncing for about a week, it keeps getting stuck, so I restart it, rinse, repeat. A bootstrap would be great. Thanks.

You guys seem to have two threads running here, one regarding bounties, and this one. I already posted this in the other thread, but I am not sure if everyone here looks at both, so... Thanks to a request from s3v3nh4cks, Sprouts is supported on the StakeBox, check it out at StakeBox.com. Also, for anyone who already has a Raspberry Pi, you can snag the Sprouts wallet from github.com/StakeBox/Sprouts, I have tested in in a fresh install of Rasbian, both wheezy and jessie, you can just drop it in and use your RPi to stake your Spouts. I have only tested it on the RPi2, it should work on the older versions as well, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks to a request from s3v3nh4cks, Sprouts has been supported on the StakeBox since the beginning of September, check it out at StakeBox.com. I have been going back through and doing static compiling for all of the wallets supported so that anyone with a Raspberry Pi can benefit from my work. I just uploaded a statically compiled version of the Sprouts Qt wallet to github, you can snag it at github.com/StakeBox/Sprouts. That will drop into a fresh install of Raspbian wheezy or jessie on the Raspberry Pi 2 and work without any extra work. I see there is a bounty for a Staking RPi wallet, I am not sure what is meant by auto bootstrap, though.

Wow. New wallet already? Way to go! This is really great. I'm so glad I'm holding this coin. It pays out dividends and it looks like it will continue to survive for the next years. Price is really cheap right now, and it would be the perfect time for me to buy more and become a shareholder. By the way, I was thinking if it was possible to stake Ambercoin with my Raspberry Pi 2?  Smiley

I have already compiled the Amber wallet for RPi2, you can snag it from github.com/StakeBox/AmberCoin. You should be able to drop it into Rasbian wheezy or jessie and be done.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Raspberry pi POS coin mining ( stakeBox ) on: November 16, 2015, 10:31:44 PM
How many different crypto wallets can the pi2 stake at once without running out of ram or other hardware issues?

StakeBox.com/FAQ has a list of the RAM requirements for a bunch of PoS Qt wallets. The RPi2 has 1GB of RAM, some needs to be reserved for the OS about 850MB can safely be consumed by other programs, i.e. crypto wallets.
So 2-4 depending on the coins, well really wish the pi had more ram now, I currently have been using a mini windows pc only 2gb of ram and running 6 wallets but it is more than double a pi 2.

I know there are some Pi alternatives that use PI images, maybe one has more ram and accepts this image.

Yeah, more RAM would be nice, but you can't beat the power consumption of RPi2s, and the price is right. For a more capable version of the StakeBox I am playing with an Odroid XU4, getting everything setup hope to release it in the next month or so.

Finally staked my way past 5 million BITB, price has gone up a bit this week after sinking into single digit satoshi range, I am feeling pretty good. Not as good as I would be if the price were where I bought in at, but, maybe things here can turn around. What's up dev, any news for us? How about the November goals on the updated roadmap, where are you at with those?
