I've got mini rigs hanging after some time with cgminer 2.6.1 so I switched back to bfgminer 2.5.1. It does produce almost 1% more rejects (cgminer had almost none 0.07%), but at least it works  Roll Eyes.
No, CGMiner has them - it just hides them from you, along with other shares that would have been accepted...
So, you're saying that I should see a difference in U or shares accepted between cgminer and bfgminer? I'll check it. Atm I'm having 51.7Ghs very stable speed with cgminer 2.6.1b. Do you mind telling me how to update bfgminer from 2.5.1, so I can make a fair comparison of both up to date miners?
342  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner: modular FPGA/GPU, overclock/fanspeed, scrypt, RPC, Linux/Windows 2.6.1 on: July 31, 2012, 06:02:02 AM
Since the newest version 1 out of 4 singles dies after a few minutes. Restarting bfg miner gives me another few minutes.
Same here with my mini rigs. Right now I'm back to bfgminer 2.5.1, its more stable, but gives around 0.75% rejects. Hope that either luke, or ckolivas will fix the issue. I will definitely donate aftewards  Grin

Since my computer is running on Linux and I'm a noob in linux, please don't ask me to send you debug files or anything like that  Grin. I didn't have "bitforce:" line for every device btw, if that helps.
Um, why bfgminer 2.5.1 and not cgminer 2.5.0?

EDIT: never mind that question, I suspect people actually believe luke-jr's FUD.

I think the minirig is probably burnt by the same thing affecting the singles.
Well, I had 2.5.1 installed, so I run that one. Don't know how to update, and I guess since you guys share the code, I would've got the same issue with bfgminer 2.6.1. Maybe its a good thing I still have 2.5.1  Grin...but I do need to learn how to use linux

The latest build seems to mess with something on one of my machines. After about 2 to 4 minutes, the temperature for "BFL 1" disappears, and it starts saying error: temperature celsius or something of the sort. It also starts saying send work reports: errunknown! It then goes down to 0 hashrate. It (seems) to always be the same Single. I'd blame the Single itself, but no previous build does this. It's also present in BFG's 2.6.1. Using Win7x64, and if it matters, the operating host's environment is 1x7970, 3x5850, and 7 BFL Singles in one prompt.

EDIT: Seems my other machine has fallen to this as well, it just took longer to happen. For this one, it's BFL 2, and it gives the same errors:
error: get result reports: OK
error: send block data reports: ERR:UNKNOWN!
error: send work reports: temperature <celsius>
error: send block data reports: temperature <celsius>

After the <celsius>, it will actually have a number that seems to be the correct temperature. But the temperature is not shown above, and it won't show any hash rate, and it's not being declared sick.

Having the same problem on Linux... I'm not entirely convinced it's not the hardware, but it seems unlikely I have 3 units failing like that.

Inaba, I just had a miner crash, but couldn't see what was the reason. Previously I used BFG 2.5.1 and you know that I had same problems with units you have now. I'll keep my eye on the miners, and hope that its not the same error again.

Roll Eyes.

Graet, I've noticed that shares from us1 show up in statistics with more delay than those appected by us2 server. Does it affect payouts? For me its more convenient to work with us1, in terms of distance, but as you said earlier us2 has been upgraded  Grin
delayed stats should not affect payouts, all the shares for a round are tallied for that round.
US2 was put onto a faster link, that is the only recent upgrade Smiley
BTW, switching servers is recognized by the pool as being disconnected for a few minutes, and then connected back, hence reducing the payout (even if the switch is instant)
I have never experienced this, there may be a delay in stats and a few stales as you switch over but certainly not minutes.
how have you come to this conclusion?
Indeed I get some stales, but only a few. It can be seen from the user hash rate graph, also round credit gets reduced. However, as I just switched back to us2, I didn't get reduced hash rate. On the contrary I had 20% bump up for a few minutes. So, I guess it evens out  Grin. You might want to check if there could be a bug allowing people to get some extra shares accepted by both servers because of delay. It could be beneficial on the start of every block, as if the block is small, you get higher percentage of it...but I hope everything is fine and this is just an interface lag.

Ozcoin never sleeps.

US2.ozco.in mining server has just been upgraded to a faster link. Also more memory for the server. Server is located in the midwest. We invite our eastern and midwest miners to use this server.

Thanks for all the great work, we just hit 2Th mark today, I made a screenshot  Tongue

What about the mobile workers page, is that correct?  I will need to look over the API code, I don't mess with it much so it's possible something has gotten broken since I've been working on the hashrate tracking.

Are you saying your estimated rewards have dropped to 0 on the Quick Stats on the web page?

*EDIT*  - Worker stats is definitely broken on the API.  I will fix it.

I'd love to check that for you, but you probably allready know why I can't do that atm. We'll see on Monday.

I see your worker on your mobile worker page, it's hashing at roughly 50 GH/s.  Can you send me a screen shot of your browser perhaps?

It sounds like you are using the wrong API key.

Here is a screenshot of how it looks like on my phone. I've tried to rename workers back and forth, but now none of them would appear as working. You're right about wrong API key in the browser though. I've noticed that the button on the web site uses old API key, so I changed it and it works.

P.S. Wow, I just renamed my workers, and my estimated rewards dropped to 0 and 24h earnings got reduced by 2btc...

Which worker is not working? I am looking at your workers and all of them are not active except for 1 (the minirig worker), so none of them would be visible.

I just changed one of yours at random to active and they show up on the mobile workers page if I activate it.  Can you be more specific on what steps you are taking?
Yes, currently I have 1 worker with 2 boxes attached to it, and I can see it on the "my workers" page, but neither on mobile workers, nor on API and apps which are using it (like BTCmon for iphone). The weirdest thing is that if I put my GPU rig online, it shows up just ok, everywhere. The steps I take - well, I press mobile workers link, or refresh the stat page on my phone, if that helps. Its not a big deal, but would be nice to have it on my phone through API.

Inaba,
I'm having problems with the API and mobile workers page. It doesn't show my workers speed. I had an old worker for video cards rig, and it shows the speed, if I switch it on, but not for freshly created workers. I've tried to change my API key a few times, but no luck.  Huh

I was finally able to contact Kimitobo and he graciously agreed (and has) returned the erroneous 138 coins.  I'd like to thank him for being honest and quick with a response!  Only down about ~850 BTC now!

Gratz! I really hope you can get back more  Wink

P.S. For some reason BTCmon app for iPhone doesn't show freshly added workers for mini rigs. Well it does, but the speed is 0  Huh
