Undecided Undecided https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80146.msg1108218#msg1108218

303  Local / Трейдеры / Re: Новый пузырь? on: August 16, 2012, 12:15:00 PM

I see that:
- there are 19 devices Huh
- the devices that report higher hash rate (MH/s) have few accepted shares (A:...) and low utility (U:...)
- there are no hardware (HW:0) errors

... to see this in easyminer I would have to connect it to a windows machine :-(

This is just a few minutes after start. Keep it running for at least 1 hour, then make a screenshot =). I've got 1 box with 19 units too btw.
309  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: August 14, 2012, 04:38:32 PM
hmm is the pool having problems i noticed my hash rate is only showing 235 should be around 1600+ and it seems my coins are lower then they should be right now.
It's quite a comprehensive patch we're rolling out today, and there were some issues with it. The pool was unavailable for a while, and some shares have not been accounted for yet. We will adjust your balances for that in the coming days.

Things have stabilized now it seems, but I can't promise that we're out of the woods for today. We'll continue to monitor the pool closely.

I'm sorry we didn't provide you with more advanced warning of this.

MC

But they will, right? hope everything goes well
310  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows 2.6.4 on: August 14, 2012, 04:26:11 PM
Working great, 7970 with flashed Ghz edition vbios at 1220/700, Windows 8, on air cooling (fan @ 100%).  700+Mh/s.  Love it.  Going to watercool to get to 800+ this week.

Does the Ghz edition bios let you pass the 150 mhz max engine memory clock diff?

Well, I'm not really sure about that - my card seems to report that it's still clocked at 1500Mhz no matter what I set the mem clocks to or what software I use (CCC, Afterburner, Trixx).  Trixx seems to think the settings are working, but I'm skeptical.  So, my quoted 700Mhz memory clock is what I set it to, but not necessarily what it is running at...

If anyone knows of a way to unlock this Diamond 7970 a little further, I'd appreciate any advice.  Especially voltage-wise since I plan to watercool soon and I don't think my VCC settings are taking (according to GPU-Z).  It's a pretty cheap card - $399 at newegg after rebate.
The best way to monitor real readings is to use GPU-Z

I thought using I higher than 9 makes cgminer load CPU to 100%. How come you run it with I=13?
312  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: August 13, 2012, 04:58:09 PM
It seems that for a few hours my workers were sending shares to unknown destination. There is no public work atm, and I can see only the private pool counter change. However, I did check the private pool, and it didn't have any work routed for some time now. I've stopped my workers, and switched pools manually, but shares counter on GPUMAX's dashboard still running, counting private shares as I write this message. I lost around 1btc, before I realised there are no shares coming. I suggest you check your accounts too...made some screenshots with a few minutes interval of my GPUMAX account page, and PPS pool page on same screen, if you want I can upload it.

[EDIT:] I do hope this is only GUI bug, and there is a public work

315  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: August 12, 2012, 06:20:54 PM
do you prohibit your address to be pinged? it doesn't respond (pool.abcpool.co)
Missed your post initially; to answer your question: Our systems are behind Amazon's load balancers, which cannot be pinged. To gauge response time you may time a fetch of http://www.abcpool.co/ping.php; it should be comparable to ping response time.

EDIT: This made me think.. why wouldn't the load balancers be pingable? So I poked around until I poked a little hole; and now pool.abcpool.co can be pinged Smiley

By the way, for those concerned about ping times: each 100ms of ping-time translates to only 0.017% invalid shares. In the grand scheme of things quite insignificant.

Thanks for fixing the pingability Cheesy. Its just that BFL devices are more sensitive about delays, trashing more shares on every LP compared to GPUs.

Anybody want to sell 1 mini rig to me?

Please PM me.. what are your conditions.. (Shocked no weird conditions please)

Located in Sacramento, California

Smiley

If my doctor tells me on Monday, after viewing the ultrasound images and blood work done on Friday, that I have terminal liver cancer or something in that ballpark, the miniRig is of no use to me, and I can sell it to you for what I paid for it.
(I'm not kidding - I wouldn't be kidding about topics such as this one.)

Of course, I sincerely hope that the tests show that I do not have any kind of cancer, and no liver cirrhosis, either.
Wish you all the best man. If you do need to sell the rig, do it on eBay  Grin
317  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: August 12, 2012, 07:36:18 AM
I'm currently getting public AND private work at the same time.

Load balancing since it has went into action I see that all the time, it only takes as much of your hashing power as it needs to do the work it has in the pipeline.
thanks, I realised that now. It used to be 100% load a few months back. Too bad I cant get the gpumax pool to stop giving any work at all, when there is no public work. So my workers can hash at other pools with less latency and rejects.
318  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: August 09, 2012, 01:47:37 PM
I'm currently getting public AND private work at the same time. Tried to change PPS price back and forth, same results. Is anyone else getting this?  Huh
Also, for some reason my miners are running at a lower hash rate, around 1.7% less.

P.S.: got the hash rate fixed by latest version of cgminer

We’re proud to introduce ABCPool.co to you, the highest paying Pay-per-Share (PPS) pool, making miners happy since 2011-08-02.

This is untrue, isn't MtRed the highest paying PPS pool?

Is ABCPool online? I've tried to get to Mt.Red's admin on irc, but he's not available  Huh I'm trying to find the best PPS pool atm.
We'll be online all day for your hashing pleasure. And also the days, weeks and months after that into the foreseeable future Smiley

Anything specific we can help you with?
Good to hear that =) Maybe uptime % for the last month? I'll setup backup pools, but it'd be good to know what to expect from ABCPool
Since the beginning of july we've been offline for about 75 minutes, so that's >99.8% uptime.
