341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Thing That Could Stop Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 01:57:09 PM
We all know that a major population of btc mining is centerd in China and they constitute a large portion in terms of bitcoin mining hashrate but still i doubt that China unfavourable attitude towards bitcoin industry will have some major effect on btc and they cannot stop btc to grow in any way. They can be a obstacle in its way but can't stop it. So just relax and don't create panic among others. Bitcoin is decentralized currency which cannot be operated by a country or an individual. It is working with the help of people all over the globe.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now you can buy Bitcoin from the grocery store on: October 09, 2019, 01:37:49 PM
In the U.S. there are these machines in grocery stores called "Coinstar"...they were originally used for fiat coins but now they've modified them so you can buy Bitcoin from them. This is great for mass adoption!

This news is really good for bitcoin enthusiasts and all the crypto lovers. The world is on the path of becoming digital and digital payments are most important part of it.Many countries are now recognizing the importance of btc and implementing it in their legal system to boost the technology and economy. The fiat will be soon replaced by digital currencies like btc all over the globe.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 11:44:55 AM
So, we are moving into a new era where Fiat currencies are getting some competition from Crypto currencies and multiple other payment methods. People are simply not interested in using cash anymore, because cashless payment options are more efficient and also more convenient. < Debit & Credit cards / Crypto currencies / Gift cards / E-Wallets / Cheque / PayPal etc. >

So with the endless alternative payment options available, cash payments are slowly being replaced by more practical and convenient payment options.

Is there still a need for Cash <Fiat currencies> in this evolving world?

You are confusing Cash with fiat currency. Fiat currency doesn't only include cash but every type of money considered as legal tender by the government. So, even though use of cash has been decreasing rapidly but other means of fiat currencies like plastic cards and net banking are still intact and increasing.
There have been already numerous discussions on the forum regarding fiat currencies and why these could never be replaced by cryptocurrencies due to the deflationary nature of cryptos. I don't think we need another thread here.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 09, 2019, 11:28:31 AM
I was planning to join the campaign, i asked one already join more than one, the answer is choked me,
Although the project not bad, he received only $6.8 after worked for 6 weeks is it fair?  Is it normal?
What you think?

Joining campaigns in 2019 is not as lucrative as it was in 2016-17. The problems are numerous, lot of things have change since then. Some of which are:
-> Number of participants have increased rapidly. Earlier, hardly 150-200 used to join Twitter campaigns and used to get rewards like $500-1000 but now unrestricted campaigns have over 5K participants thereby rewards have declined to $5-10.
-> Too many spam projects. I remember in 2017, 5 of the 10 projects used to get listed on big exchanges and tokens of such projects did sustain value. But now, 1 of 20 project actually able to get some big exchange and most of the listed projects get their token value dumped on exchanges.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A better way to bring about adoption of blockchain and crypto-currency on: October 09, 2019, 10:43:26 AM
There are some serious problems that need solutions and we should overcome some hurdles like:

1) Pools and large operations centralize the mining power in the hands of a few. This is troubling and someone needs to solve this by providing proper incentives for being a solo miner and not joining pools

Yeah, this is serious problem which needed addressing. Due to increased competition and concentration of mining power in pools, there is a sort of monopoly developing in this area. During the period of increased number of transactions, people have to face very high fees.
There are several issues which have to be rectified before we think about increasing Bitcoin adoption but I doubt it is possible to rectify in Bitcoin Core.

347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE BITCOIN HALVING EXPLAINED! on: October 08, 2019, 07:42:07 PM
Nice infographics! Thanks to CryptoManiaks for providing this technical information in easy understandable language for beginners. Other online articles usually make this topic tough to understand for starters. I would suggest you to move this thread in 'Beginners and Help' section, this thread would be more appropriate there.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are mixers illegal? on: October 08, 2019, 07:00:18 PM
I would love to have a general conversation around mixers and if they are legal. I've heard both sides. Would be great to have someone involved in the legal side of things like Ciphertrace or a regulator to shed light on this topic

Anything is illegal when law explicitly quote it to be illegal. I don't think any country has law that clearly mentions mixers as illegal. However, the working of mixer is surely questionable. Why a person who earned/bought Bitcoins legally and paying correct taxes on his incomes would try to anonymous his holding? Mixer is the tool that is mostly used to anonymize gambling earnings and other shady earnings, however I am not judging.
So if you want to try mixers as a user, you can go ahead, there is hardly a chance you would be tracked back. But if you planning to start one, be prepared for contingencies as authorities will surely poke in their noses once you grow in size.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 08, 2019, 06:12:59 PM
The situation at Milan is very similar to Man Utd, both fallen giants so far away from their glory days. Football goes in cycles though, I’m confident they’ll both return to glory one day. It might take 10-15 years but they’ll both be back.

And you know, the situation for Milan is worse than just defeats. Milan has lost 4 of 7 matches this season. But to make the situation worse, Milan players have got 5 red cards in last 5 matches! This clearly shows how frustrated the team is right now. On the top of that, Milan is banned from playing Europa League. So even being at number 5 in table last season, Milan is not playing EL. Overall, Milan is looking like lost cause even worse than ManU.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 08, 2019, 03:12:20 PM
Hi, many people are still complaining how many ICOs ended up as a scam.
The cryptocurrency idea is to create a free worldwide decentralized ecosystem. Free for all, for honest but also for dishonest people. It is free market and you should protect yourself before losing your money. You don´t like it? Then you do not understand crypto.

The number of these types of ICO scams are increasing day by day and we are no longer in safe environment for investors.Although the market is free we cant take any legal steps so we need to be on safe grounds on our own and ignore such ICO.Have a complete knowledge in this highly volatile crypto market.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc price is allready too high on: October 08, 2019, 02:52:40 PM
For me personally i am long term holder of btc and for me the prices are not too higher compared to the past when they cross $10-$12k so we cant say they are high. But this is the time of investment for the investors because the correction can take place any time in market and prices may even go lower to $6000 and then hodl until you can sell to earn maximum profits.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: October 08, 2019, 02:29:24 PM
Hi, I’m not sure if I’m posting in the correct category. If someone could let me know that would be great.
I recently had a conversation with a person from Tradenix. As I am completely new to this I thought I would search reviews of other peoples’ experience with this company. I cannot find anything that doesn’t seem sort of made up. I did find one negative review but didn’t really understand why it was negative.
Does anyone have a suggestion where I could start to educate myself on this process and does anyone of a positive experience with any broker?
You can simply start trading at yourself and all you need is funds and proper knowledge about the coin in which you want to trade. Simply deposit your money in one of the legit exchange after submitting your documents like Binance. And follow trading tips of the expert and have patience and trade successfully and earn profits.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: October 08, 2019, 02:09:26 PM
The cold war was started months ago between the two and still there is no clear sign on the postive effect on cryptocurrency as China has already banned all the crypto related transaction in their nation and Hong kong people have not shown much greater interest in cryptocurrencies and opting traditional way of payments so far.The predictions are that prices will still go down below $6500 so what are we actually talking about? But we can hope that large population will covert their savings into btc and other coins which may push prices higher again.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: October 08, 2019, 01:51:43 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?
I am not a trading expert but still i can suggest you some tips that were helpful for me in trading successfuuly. Some of the points are
1-Control your sentiments in crypto trading and use your brain
2-You will always not be able to make profits sometimes you have to face loss this is simple rule
3-You must have complete knowledge about the coin in which you want to invest and monitor the growth regularly
4-Have patience and don't get panic in dump situation and hodl for long term
5-And most imprtant learn from your past mistakes and experience and try to diversify your portfolio by investing in different coins which will reduce your risk.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: October 08, 2019, 01:35:16 PM
Strangely James Bilal Caan claims that he was the founder of bitcoin.. But lost his hard drive.. Is this possible??

What you guys think about James? Why he use this type of statement.. Specially his explanation about his hard drive?
Why are people giving so much attention to this topic and similar threads have been created many times. We don't know who is real founder of btc but we know that he has created a digital currency that has given rise to blockchain technology. So just ignore all these fake people who are claiming to be founder as this list will be added with more such names in future.Just make potential use of this digital currency and be happy.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: October 08, 2019, 01:14:00 PM
Hey, this recently published article on how to avoid risky investments and spot frauds mentions our forum  Cool

Link: https://medium.com/@Peter_UXer/how-to-identify-cryptocurrency-scams-813c32816ddf?source=friends_link&sk=da150ce8128c348da4b0dfdbf57e8e12
Seriously speaking scams are all around us and we need to outrage them or say avoid them with our experience. This article is really helpful and deals with technical aspects and provide us guidelines for how to be safe from them. Some ICO looks promising and bold but they are mere fake projects in reality formed by the scammers to collect money from peoples. So we need to understand that we ignore scam mails, twiiter accounts or any such thing which offers something without any cost. You need to investigate throughly like background of team, white paper, objective, market cap and other neccesary details of the project.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WERE YOUR STOLEN BITCOINS EVER RETURNED???? on: October 08, 2019, 12:59:43 PM
I know once you are scammed and robbed, its hard to reverse the Bitcoin Transaction ! But any of you were ever scammed and were returned your bitcoins by the scammers ! This is not a great topic but was curious if there is a Robinhood in the scammers ! Guys I meant scammers, few mine bitcoins few use their hard earned moeny to buy bitcoins, please dont grab away from the innocent souls !!
I have never encountered with such situation but i have never heard that some hacker returning your money after stoling it from your wallet. The owner never gets it back and you must be careful beforehand and never wish for such miracle to take place.
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price you will buy and sell btc? on: October 08, 2019, 12:15:18 PM
The price you like to buy the btc?
And sell! ?

I think 7k I buy and sell 10k.
The predictions are that prices will go low to $6500 and this correction will took place soon in the market so i am waiting for this time and hold until the prices surpass $15k whether it takes time because its good to gain higher profits.
The question is when is the buying point? That is still unpredictable and how about this strategy. I would prefer to buy if the price is around 6k dollars and I will sell it when the price reaches 12k dollars in order for me to be able to earn a big profit but I know it will take a long time but I am willing to wait. I will just think that I am saving my money on a time deposit and I need to wait patiently.

Yeah, I just wrote that. I would like to fill my pockets at the price around $6.5K. As Christmas and holidays are approaching, people generally spend more money than normal season. Large chunk of such spending goes to investment. Bitcoin being $6.5-7K would be good bargain and perfect destination for most of the investors. This could lead to long rally and BTC price can reach $15K by January.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 07, 2019, 04:08:48 PM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...
There are some simple ways by which you can earn free altcoins such as joining bounty campaigns or signature campaigns which requires some skills and you can get good amount. But if you want to do nothing than simply join airdrop by filling application forms. Other ways include faucets or other online sites which provide coins on completion of tasks. You can opt anyone of them.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH experiences the deepest downfall this year on: October 07, 2019, 03:56:37 PM

Ethereum has confronted an accident underneath $160 this year, learnt by The Coin Republic. It is said that this week has been unsafe for ethereum. The destruction was unforeseen of it as in the ongoing occasions ethereum was performing truly well like it generally does. It would hold a gathering in Osaka this year. The destruction was in reality a cruel blow on it.

It was at that point dropped to $220 and after that to $160 per token. The following day ended up being random as the value rose to $175. Positive thinking and confidence in ethereum were reestablished in brokers.

News Source: TheCoinRepublic
This year starting point was good for all the crypto enthusiasts but after that we have seen a major downstream in all the coins and ETH is one of them. The prices have drastically gone down and stands below $200 at current. It may take some time for it to surge again so have patience and be careful if you want to invest as the prices are low.
