Nobody knows what will happen by end of this year. People were saying we will see bullrun by end of 2018 but situations is getting worst. People are in losses and many people are criticizing cryptos right now. I think there will be some good news in q1 of 2019 before that am not expecting anything good from cryptos.

Yes, i always invest in top ranked coins because there are more than 1k coins available in the market. Nobody can do research about each and every coin. Its better to save time and refer some good websites for necessary details. I refer coinmaketcap for detailed information . And i always consider top 10 coins for investment.

Hold your all investments for some period of time. As we know in red market you won't able to get profitable returns from invested money. Its better to have patience instead trading your investments in less price. I am not talking about XLM specifically, am considering all coins in my statement. 

As per expert's predictions and assumption bull run was supposed to start in the q4 of 2018 but unfortunately all predictions and assumptions proved wrong. Nothing is happening right now. Market is struggling and investors are not at all happy because they are not getting what they were expecting in this quarter. 

Long term holding are always preferable if we compare with short term holdings. Because its quite hard to understand price trends in short period of time. I personally like eth , btc and dash. These are most trusted coins among all coins. apart from mentioned coins you can consider these coins too.

It could reach $4k or maybe go low than that as the price isn't showing any improvement yet. But it won't go to such levels that its existence would be at stake.If you are in for long term, trust the code not the market at this point. Price will recover but all what is needed is patience.

Bitcoin has gone through more worse dips back in years. This is indeed a huge dip but we are still at $4k+ which is decent enough to trust in Bitcoin. Even after all the panic sellers left, BTC is holding good. This was like a reboot and would help in bull market as who are left have trust in Bitoin.

The BCH hash war is a reason behind this heavy selling. Or maybe the institutional investors want to bring the price down before the BAKKT launch so that they can enter at better price range. It could be anything. But I think such reboot was necessary before a bull run.

If you want to get massive returns then you need to get out from your comfort zone. Cryptos is only for risk takers. If you are afraid of earnings or returns then you should go for traditional investment where you will get stable returns. Don't bother about the losses. Cryptos is all about timing. Just hold your investment and wait for the best time.

There are more than 1500 coins available in cryptos. You cannot do research on each and every coin. Out of these all coins most of the coins are shit coins. It largely depends upon your expectations from your Investments. If you are in for long term, hodl is the key. These short term market volatility shouldn't be bothering. But if you are in for trade which can be short, mid or long term. Hodling won't be the right strategy. You would like to make profit out of the every market movement.

What i have seen is that bounty hunters can be a reason for the drop in some cases. But nowadays, the investors panic as well. They might be less in number but in the starting volume is less as well. So panic sellers can bring that dump which creates further panic. Listing an ICO token while in bear market is risky.

A lot is dependent upon the identity of the team behind the project. Me personally, would stay away from a project with an anonymous team unless they justify the anonymity with some viable product already in existence. Knowing the team behind the product where you are investing makes all the difference.

In this bear market where prices have been falling since January, investing in low cap coins isn't advisable at all. Stay in coins with big marketcap like btc, ETH, xrp etc. I would suggest you to stay away from bc for a while. But be in large cap coins for less risky investment choice.

With this hash war, prices have gone down pretty badly last week. We saw another dump yesterday as well. This indeed is a best time to invest as i don't see any reason that price would go down any further below $5000. So make your Investments and once the bash hard fork shit ends. Price will again rally up. This downfall was temporary.

This is quite difficult to identify whether projects are scam or legit. As you have mentioned there are many projects being established. How will you identify whether its legit or scam. Most of the projects are scam nowadays. You must have appropriate knowledge to choose best project. I personally think investment is better option because investment is not time consuming and you will get good returns if you have invested in legit coin.

Alt coins are good option to invest. But do remember one thing there are many shit coins available in the market. You need to be very vigilant whether alt coins are legit or not.
