362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: October 07, 2019, 03:00:44 PM
Yesterday the price of Bitcoin was $9700 and today the price is $8500. Yesterday the price of Ethereum is $200 and today the price is $170. So which coin is prefer to buy?
It totally depends upon the interest of the investor that whether he want to invest for short term or long term and it also depenss on the funds you are ready to invest in the digital currencies. If you have less amount then you should go with ETH.Both currencies have capacity to grow rapidly in future due to their technology so you can have both on your list.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools to improve your trading on: October 07, 2019, 02:38:46 PM
With my goal of becoming a full-time trader, I have recently spent a lot of time researching different tools. I learned that most tools are just ways to earn easy money for the creator, but there are some that truly make a difference.

In order to save your time, this is my shortlist of the four things I use most, and that have given me the most value:
- TensorCharts (https://www.tensorcharts.com/)
- 100eyes Crypto Scanner (https://www.100-eyes.com)
- CryptoPanic (https://cryptopanic.com/)
- Tradingviews Ideas (https://www.tradingview.com/ideas/crypto/)

Also, I wrote an article summarizing how I use them:
https://medium.com/@100eyes_crypto/4-tools-for-the-modern-crypto-trader-4ea13cd3130a

Let me know what you think, and if there's something else I should try.
Yes its good to have tools if you want to trade but what actually will help you to earn profit is your knowledge, experience and trading skills that you use in making investments that will lead you to high rerurns in future. You can learn from trading tips and tools but always use your wisdom to pick the best suitable technique in trading.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today returned to $ 7,800 on: October 07, 2019, 02:20:38 PM
Bitcoin price slipped to $ 7,800
Many experts have foresaw Bitcoin's downturn as all eyes are on Golden Week * in China. However, when the Chinese return to the cryptocurrency market this week, will they decide to buy at the current bottom? Or will they continue to stand out of the game to watch the support break down?

(* Golden Week is a policy applied in China since 1999 for two important holidays: Chinese New Year and National Day (October 1). Before 2007, Chinese people also had a "Golden Week". "Tuesday is International Labor Day May 1.)

With Bitcoin's daily price chart, the usual price range is $ 7,600 to $ 9,500. When Bitcoin is put into the sideway, the buying and selling forces will fall into equilibrium. At the same time, the market is about to have big fluctuations. Therefore, Bitcoin is best to keep a stable support level of $ 7,120 to gain momentum in the near future. If not, the market could witness a new plunge.
You can read can track Bitcoin price today right below:

Bitcoin (BTC)

$ 7,923.84 (-2.57%)

The prices fluctuates very frequent in this highly volatile currency and this time they are below $8000 and might go down as the predictions are there so its not time to discuss prices but this is oppurtunity for the investors as momentum can be shifted towards them and they can enjoy profit when the prices go high.We hope that the market hits bull run soon after the correction so HODL.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: October 07, 2019, 02:06:38 PM
Undoubtly gold has more stable and increasing income but the return is very low compared to the time.Like we can say that the prices slightly increase over a year and on the other side Bitcoin is a risky venture to invest but the growth is very fast and returns are high. But as we know high risk high profits. So you should counter your risk by investing in both say 60% in bitcoin and 40% in gold. But you must have patience as both are long time investments.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: October 07, 2019, 01:47:56 PM
With increasing craze about cryptocurrency among people the businesses are also making changes in their strategies to attract more customer like this bitcoin cafe.It sounds good but it would have better if they offer payment in btc but the government didn't allow it and have declared it as illegal. The governments all around the world should appreciate the importance of virtual currencies and use them to boost the world economy.Hope we see that time soon.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 07, 2019, 12:00:57 PM
April 1st signaled the start of what seemed would be yet another bull run… however, the rally seems to have been cut short without getting close to the all-time high.

What do you think would be a smarter way of hodling bitcoin other than standing still, bag in hand, while watching the price go back down to the $3K range?

The problem with hodlers are that they blindly trust Bitcoin. You can't just put X money on any random day and expect your investment to go to 2X after a while. Investing in Bitcoin requires deep-laid strategy else you may lose money due to dynamism of Bitcoin's price.
So to become smart investor, it is required that you keep changing your position after a while. With USDT coming to play, changing situation have become easier than ever. Rather than keeping your money in solely in BTC, try chasing rallies and sell at higher prices, then again return to your position during correction by buying at cheaper price.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation around the world and Bitcoin on: October 07, 2019, 10:20:20 AM
There are definitely a direct correlation between what happens in global markets and what is happening with the Bitcoin price. We see a lot of third world citizens buying more bitcoins to protect the value of their wealth, when their economy are struggling. Bitcoin as a store of value has proven that it is just as good as Gold and in some instances even better than Gold as a store of value. <It is easier to buy bitcoins and it is less regulated.>  Wink

Hyperinflation in Fiat currencies are Bitcoin's best friend, because it serve as a alternative protection when these currencies fail to protect people's wealth.  Grin

There may be some instances of it but we can't say bitcoin has prominent share in investment market in third-world countries. People still rely on traditional means like gold or invest in stock markets. Although Bitcoin is quite popular in these countries but hardly 2-3% population really invest in Bitcoin.  It may be a good investment at individual level and several lives do change with Bitcoin investment but it is too soon to link Economy as whole with Bitcoin.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 07, 2019, 09:05:26 AM
It's true that people are incentivized more to keep their Bitcoin over actually spending them, and we're seeing the effects as early as now, even while supply is still rising. There's no way it will work as a replacement to fiat with the way our economy is set up, where growth is driven by debt and spending -- the question is, why would we need Bitcoin to replace fiat in the first place?

True! Bitcoin wasn't created to become mainstream currency or a direct substitute to fiat. It was created as a mean of online remittance without involving third-party like PayPal, etc. - A P2P direct cash system. It surely fulfils this promise. We can conduct an anonymous transaction, anytime, anywhere with Bitcoin.
But the problem is people's misconception. Lot of members here advocate as well as promote Bitcoin as a currency. Well, there is no denying that Bitcoin has most of the features a currency could have. One can certainly use it to pay for goods and service. But it's just one aspect of Bitcoin. It is wrong to limit it to this particular use-case only.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 07, 2019, 08:08:42 AM
Manchester United has lost again Shocked. Can Ole Gunnar Solskjaer survive the sack. It is so sad that he is not addressing the situation and the fans are very disappointed.

I'm done with Manchested United. First Crystal Palace, then West Ham and now Newcastle. ManU is achieving new low every day. I already lost around 0.015 BTC on ManU this season, it's time I drop ManU from my betting list.

Manchester City loss at home came as big surprise to me!!  Shocked No body was expecting them to be beaten from side like Wolves. Now there is healthy 8 points difference between Liverpool and Man City. It is looking like Liverpool will clinch their first Premier League title (new division) this season. Well, still load of matches to be played, let's see how table progresses.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 07, 2019, 06:57:37 AM
As the market becomes more saturated more users are turning towards the top two crypto coins and those who had already invested into other altcoins have starting shifting their funds towards Bitcoin and Ethereum as other altcoins have failed to capitalize the market. If this continues then how will altcoin survive? is it just the matter of time or something which altcoins need to work on by working on the missing link.

Crypto Market is usually driven by few big players. These whales pump coins which is then taken to moon by rest of the investors. Altcoin pump of 2017-18 was one example of this orchestrated pump. 1 sat coins like COLX were pumped to 70-100 sats by big holders of such coins. So the market we all have seen  in 2017-18 was not the genuine growth. Thus, it makes no sense to compare that market with the present one and get despaired. Altcoins still have lots of potential and these will surely grow in coming years but only invest in valuable coins, not shitcoins like 1 sat coins.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 06, 2019, 06:10:45 PM
Some people have been bounty hunters for a long time (e.g, for the past 2 or3 years) and till now, they are still on the act of hunting for more altcoins.
It is true that the reward hunters now get is so small compared to what was obtainable 2 to 3 years ago and not only that, it now takes more time to be paid than it was. So, instead of complaining, why not through some of the experience you have got, since your sojourn in the crypto space, explore other means through which you can earn more and fill your portfolio.

Nice suggestion. I have seen many users growing from the status of bounty hunters to individual service providers. All one needs is an area of core competency. It could be blog writing, twitter, translations or any other kind of promotion. I have friends who are making $200-500 per project just from twitter every week. ICOs are ready to pay them upto $500 per week for just writing few tweets and that too in BTC or other listed coins in advance.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: I wan't to believe on: October 06, 2019, 05:40:25 PM
I remembered that I read Some of the articles, just forgot to save the link in which is someone saying like this,
"the bottom was December 15 2018, just look at the charts. We are in the bull market, We are currently in the last 3 months
of accumulation stage. After that We will slowly rise and rise. Then We will boom, Screen cap this

April 2019         - BTC5300$
July  2019         - BTC9200$
October 2019    -  BTC16,000$
February 2020   - BTC 29,000$
July 2020          - BTC 56,000$
November 2020 - BTC 87,000$

According to them this will be a 1.5 trillions in market cap.
The dominance of bitcoin will only be 40%-46%
Does the chart never lie? Just trying to get your opinion on this matter.
But honestly, I want to believe on this Smiley
Have a good day to all here. Smiley

This is not Technical Analysis. This is random prediction made on the basis of single trend. People usually take at least 2 trends to form a graph line however, three Is preferred. But in this case there is only one trend i.e. 73% rise from $5.2K to $9.2K. The article you stating has made predictions for October, Feb, July and Nov on the basis of just single data! This is entirely wrong. I would have believed the prediction more if atleast 4 of the above have already been happened.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: October 06, 2019, 12:11:31 PM
-snip-

Crypto-based gambling sites are still behind in the competition. Sites like Bet365 have over 35 million users whereas biggest of the  crypto-based gambling sites have at max like 1M users.
But the thing is crypto gambling is much more anonymous and non-traceable. These features surely attracting more and more people towards crypto gambling. The only condition when all online gambling sites start using cryptocurrency is when users demand for that. Consumer is the king! As far as users are ok with fiat gambling, I don't see any reason why sites like Bet365 will switch to crypto.
Gradually the numbers of crypto based gambling sites is increasing although they have not meet up to sites like Bet365 as you rightly said however as the numbers of cryptos users and enthusiast increased more gamblers will divert to crypto based sites based on it anonymity while the compulsory KYC for fiat based gambling sites is quite discouraging and shelving new gamblers switch over to crypto based ones.

Yeah, KYC on gambling site is tedious job especially when laws regarding gambling are stringent in your country. In my country, we can't claim deductions on gambling income and we have to pay flat hefty taxes on such income. But good thing with crypto gambling is that authorities will never know which income is from gambling and which from other sources which save lot of taxes for me.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: October 06, 2019, 07:51:34 AM
Anonymity and popularity of Cryptocurrency are two of it's the best attraction.
And Cryptocurrency games are more transparent.
Will, there comes a time that all online gambling sites will be Cryptocurrency based?

Crypto-based gambling sites are still behind in the competition. Sites like Bet365 have over 35 million users whereas biggest of the  crypto-based gambling sites have at max like 1M users.

376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is? on: October 05, 2019, 08:09:23 PM
Susceptibility towards political control IMO is the biggest vulnerability of bitcoin currently. We may have seemed to get past the horrors of malleability, 51% attacks and other technical complications that could arise in bitcoin that the last thing to ever cause it some problems in the future is the people who runs the show, or the people who have large control over other people in this decentralized network of computers hashing to mint money. Accept it or not, there will be assholes and greedy scums who will walk the scene with their ever-so-malicious intent of just making money and nothing else for the good and development of crypto, and to me they are the worst enemy of bitcoin, and not the technicality per se.

It is not that easy. Political control of Bitcoin is just a theory, it cannot be executed at all. Do you really expect government to go to the doorstep of every miner? Anybody can mine crypto, I don't see governments of whole world coming together to not allow their citizens to mine bitcoin independently. Well to make it full-proof control, every single country has to join hands, isn't it!
377  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 05, 2019, 06:59:45 PM
Hello Yahoo,
I would like to give one suggestion, hope you would discuss it with YoBit management and implement if possible.
Currently posts for any account is counted and accounted for in YoBit panel in 3-4 hours. This opens the door for negative accounts and spammers to take advantage and withdraw payment for 10-15 posts before getting banned. Won't it be better if stats are updated after 24 hours (once a day would be good) so that you will have adequate time to ban anyone before he/she makes any withdrawal? This will help in longevity of campaign as well as reduce spam to certain degree.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 05, 2019, 06:39:12 PM
I think that it was an unfair result for Leicester.
They managed to face the best team in Europe equally and they conceded a goal from the penalty spot in 95th minute.

Are these players made up of feathers? I mean, seriously Sadio went to floor with that minimal clip! I really expected more fair gameplay from the team which is Europe Champion and have such a lead in the table! I am not denying that it wasn't penalty, there was surely a contact and referee was 100% right to give that as penalty but players have to show more perseverance rather than falling like chess pawns.  Angry

I was going for 1-1 with 0.005 BTC and the odds were 7.2x. It could have been a great Sunday night with family but 95th minute penalty ruined everything.  Cry
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 05, 2019, 05:33:43 PM
This is why you should never ever lose your eye on the money you are betting. This is the reason why I always double check or even triple check the amount. I was a victim of this mistake myself that's why I learned my lessons the hard way. I remember betting .0005 and I lost all my money since I forgot adding another 0 after the point. Ended up betting .005 btc.
Honest mistakes that really ruined your day after realizing that all funds that you have are all emptied. You need to double check and keep your eyes with the amount that you select before starting the game, hard lesson to learned but that's life around gambling activities.
Next time make sure to be attentive and not to make same mistakes again.

Although I agree that adding 0.0005 instead of 0.00005 was his mistake, being a Bitcoiner one has to be fluent with decimals but there is another aspect to his loss i.e. the tricky interface of gambling sites. They usually enable options like 'double bet after every bet' in default thus making it easy for users to lose everything fast. So I don't recommend people to use automatic bet unless one becomes too familiar with the site.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading chat on: October 05, 2019, 01:44:42 PM
Guys, do you know good trading chats where traders share their ideas, discuss trading and so on? I know some in russian telegram, but wanna join english speaking community.

World is not as good as we assume it is. I would suggest to never join such channel. Reason? Most of such channels are created with hidden conspiracy. They will act like they are giving some valuable suggestions but in reality they will suggest you coins which they already bought at lower price. And when price will pump due to large number of people buying such coins on their words, they dump their coins making profits.
