Today games brought some really unexpected result as Manchester City lost the derby against Manchester United further compromising their title fight,tomorrow Arsenal has a golden chance to further gap the distance between them and City.Another unexpected result,which I would say humiliating is the loss of Liverpool against Brighton 3-0 and seeing that Liverpool played in a very poor way,totally out of the title fight and maybe totally out the top four fight for a place in the Champions League.

I think in tomorrow games we will not see such surprise results but we can expect anything as that is what Premier League is all about,surprise results every single week.

Manchester City also had difficulty scoring goals against Manchester United.

Manchester City could not score because Manchester United did not give them a chance to score. They applied the same pressure that Manchester city usually applies when they play other teams and it paid off. Manchester United will have a shot at winning the title if the leaders of the league loss tomorrow. Another result that is shocking is that of Liverpool that lost to a team no one expected could win them. Liverpool and Chelsea are not having a great season.

Right now I'm observing some coaches who look pretty bad. They experienced a decline in achievement. I see clearly at the moment is Chelsea with a new coach. Graham Potter, Chelsea were unstable during their time with him. Although at this time Potter has tried to bring in new players.
In addition to Potter I also saw, Lampard, Gary O'Neil, Moyes, and Nathan Jones. They can't get a point and this time their club is in danger of relegation. Maybe they could even be fired.

You missed a name. Jose Mourinho is another one who is currently not living up to the expectations. I believe that he is a good coach but the problem is without a good team he cannot bring in good results. And the team has to be really good. And that is being proven with his time in Roma.

I almost forgot about Allegri as well. Even though he was able to bring in good results with Juventus in recent times, however, he did start this season very badly with Juventus. And a lot of people were also talking about him being sacked as well.

Brighton at half time did not play very well but in the second half they succeeded in tearing apart Liverpool defense, there it was seen that Liverpool playing as not a big team, that match Brighton really dominate. Indeed it seems like Liverpool must be to make a big change, maybe their defense must be improved, so far they have been helped by Nunez but when he was absent Liverpool couldn't score a one goal.

Liverpool have 20 matches left in Primer League and they should be consistency for winning on every games if want back to the top fourth standing position and have opportunity for Champion League spot standing next season. Seems not only with Liverpool but also Chelsea having the same poor performance in this season until dropping at 10th current standing.

Manchester United gave a good fight to Manchester city despite that the opportunity that was gotten by Rashford was not utilized well in the first half but that is football you make mistake to learn is only when you always repeat the same mistakes that you are tagged an unskillful and bad player, manchester city got the total possession of the match but the fail to defend the first goal the scored in second half which caused them the victory, the rate at which Manchester United aqualized the game was surprising, congratulations to Manchester United for a well deserved winning.

Manchester united climbing the 4th position is a sure deal for them if they continue playing with this momentum. Manchester United gave a good fight in the first after Manchester City took possession of the match.

I wasn't expecting the win though from Manchester United. I predicted a draw match from both teams. Lucky was damn on Manchester United after scoring an offside goal that the referee didn't blow.

Honestly the outcome of this match surprised everyone many soccer analysts had tipped Man City to win, I predicted a draw, Man Utd played brilliantly infact Marcus Rashford two chances in first half of the match would have settled the match, this is indeed an improved Red Devils who played their best match under Erik Ten Hag today, it's unbelievable that Man City had a single shot on goal throughout the duration of the match, Man Utd midfielders never gave Kevin DeBryne much chance to link up with Haaland who was equally well marked which I believe is Man Utd game plan which was well executed.

All Arsenal need to do now is win Tottenham and they will be 8 points clear at the top all thanks to Manchester United.
I didn't expect United to win Man City but they just proved to the world that their recent form is not a fluke. They have been in a really good form lately and managed to come back from behind to win Manchester City.

Take nothing away from United but I think that first goal should have been ruled as an offside. Rashford made interference with the ball even if he did not touch it. He ran for the ball while been in an offside position and allowed Bruno to shoot. I have no idea why the referee allowed the goal stand but I would like to hear his reason.

Manchester City could not score because Manchester United did not give them a chance to score. Even though Manchester United won the game in the second half, the first half was the most memorable to me. Clear game play, fluid transitions, and accurate passing were used to find weaknesses in the City defense.
Both Casemiro and Fred were excellent. wonderful pushing and defense. In the final minutes, Manchester United's players gave City very little opportunities and took the strain in defense.

Any titles this season are out of the question, they won't be able to... But to try to get into the Champions League zone to play there next season can try, I think this is more than a feasible task. Over 10 defeats now for Everton and with the way its going, they aren't looking looking like a team that can beat anyone. When I saw them get a draw out of Manchester City on new year eve, I thought Frank Lampard's management was going to find his way to being on track in the new year and the next thing, you find them losing to Brighton Hove Albion. Today, they've got another lose from a come back and at a home side. How humiliating can it get and you can clearly see the fans staging there protest at the boards. Frank Lampard needs a page out of Ten Hag's play book.

Manchester United have done well to win the day but, the B. Fernandez's goal is one that is questionable for a good reason. Rules are really finding a way to keep certain decisions.
How do you question if the runs from M. Rashford made impact or not? Of course it js got to make impact and you don't expect the players to all halt to know that. An offside would have been a much more and less debated decision.

This was actually the case at the beginning of the season, and they showed this feeling with the game they played. But the points lost show that they are not invincible. I was saying that after the Everton draw, there might be occasional loss of points in the draw. Manchester United played a very different game today, they created a very comfortable position, there were many missed opportunities in the first half. Moreover, 1 goal was ahead City, Manchester United finished the match by scoring two goals in two minutes.

I don't know why Klopp expects to win games with the likes of Oxlade Chamberlain & Henderson playing every week. A truly surprising display, the midfield has no legs, 3-0 makes Liverpool even further behind the top 4 in the standings.

The midfield lacked energy and the attackers up front were less and less creative from the midfield leaving the back 4 open. Now Liverpool is in a slump. Shame to lose a game with Brighton. i hope liverpool have to buy 2 midfielders and 9 lethals to compete in EPL.

For Chamberlain, I really think he has no other choice there, especially if losing Diaz is still difficult to replace, but that's not an excuse because they really are clowns in this case.
Their meeting this season ended with a score of 3-3 and at that time they also struggled and in the second meeting now they are completely destroyed.
This makes it even more difficult for them and I have serious doubts about Klopp's future now under these conditions.

I was quite surprised by the results of this match where Man City lost to Man United. If you look at the game statistics, even though Man City was in control of the game and launched many attempts at goal. But indeed they still can not be effective in finishing it. different from Man United, whether because of plus luck or not, but they are very good in terms of finishing accuracy even though they don't control the ball much. Even their various counterattacks gave Ma City a hard time. Even though Man City was able to excel first, they were ultimately unable to increase the number of goals. With this result, the matches in the Premier League are even more interesting, the race for the title is increasing with the joining of Man United again.

The match  was supposed to have ended draw all things been equal if the controversial equalizing goal by Manchester United was given the right decision to it according to football new rules concerning offsides. Today game when compared to the first leg between United against City that end in 6:3, in favour if City I wouldn't say united outperformed City in anyway, except that there were improvements in their game today and that is something to be proud of them for.

Next, was Liverpool now tagging along with Chelsea down the table, what an ugly season for both teams.

Manchester derby game ended with one side earning 3 points while the other got nothing. There are things to consider in the game especially Marcus rashford IQ on the pitch, he was offside but confused the goal keeper and the defenders with his peaking movement and allow Bruno Fernandes to take the slight shot which ended in the post, ederson couldn't get a hold of it, united are third on the table.
City dominated the game but united won, not too hard to interpret, was it?

Everton lost 2-1 after leading at half-time. It's a sad situation to lose at home when you're ahead. We can say that everton under the management of Frank lampard could not give the desired result this year. When we look at their last 4 matches, we see that they have no problem scoring goals, but they are very good at conceding goals.
I can say that Liverpool lost the match with 2 goals at the beginning of the second half. After conceding the goals, they lost control of the game. Liverpool need to recover as soon as possible.

James Ward-Prowse's quick goal in one minute of the first half really added to the confidence of the Southampton players in this match even though they continued to attack each other but Everton failed to gain any points in this match.
It's a shame really but admittedly it is not to be regretted and they must now plunge to 19th place on the same points as Southampton and West ham in the relegation zone.

Man United is on fire, they always win in the last 5 matches. Now, they find the best line up and use the most effective tactic. These factors have a big role to besides good performance of Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Casemiro. The winning against Man City, makes Man United almost overtakes Man City in the 2nd place. If they can continue to perform well, they have a chance to compete for the title.

Anyway, in theory, I believe people predict Man City will win the match. So, not only you, most people should be suprised with the result. However, it is good for Man United that they finally can prove that they have returned to their best form.

The Red Devils really knew what they were doing today. Even though Manchester City managed to score first Manchester United made an insane comeback. This isn't an easy job to do against a team like Manchester City. One of the goals was debatable but I think the call was right. Because the player who was offside didn't touch the ball despite running for it.

This win was very important for Manchester United. Because they are right behind Manchester City now. If Arsenal also lose points this week will completely be great for the Red Devils.
