We are excited to announce that work is in progress to integrate Clef with our friends at ToshiDesk.

We have been collaborating and we are finalizing the integration.

About ToshiDesk
The ToshiDesk concept is based on PHP Yii framework that utilizes a custom social networking platform - closed source.
ToshiDesk will host a social trading platform where Masters will share trade information, charts and analysis with Traders.
The platform is tied into a compensation system and Masters receive tips, depending on their success rating and following.
Trading API's will be a premium feature which will accurately track and mimic your favorite MasterTrader’s trading techniques.

Our goal is to enhance the way people trade by building a true trading ecosystem allowing ToshiDesk to Evolve the Face of Crypto

- MasterTrader777

By using Clef, ToshiDesk will be making their platform login process easier and more secure.
We look forward to working together.

LTC : LUr6nLj8Vues2NajTbqF3N1vFvVxwH9RbE
Doge : D5ndyZkgHRC4cypAwfiAJL58kjozrj856E

I would like to see a modular miner where it can start at say 500GH and then you can buy cards and just keep adding cards and increasing the hashrate.

Just saying, but any exchange could list any altcoin, mastercoin(omni), or counterparty assets. The coin creator doesnt really have to approve it. I mean it is nice if they do, but its not really required.
Good point. I guess the more the merrier right?

haha, well I am not sure about that, Just I mean I could open an exchange tomorrow that only sells factoids, but that doesnt mean factom endorses what I am doing.

I think for most people it's hard for them to justify switching providers if they've been using one that works well for so long. Incentivizing the switch could be a good marketing move. Signature campaign, contests, draws and/or more media and user engagement is the key. I know for me I like to listen to recorded interviews or watch vids. Keep it up guys, you're doing great stuff here.

agreed, I think most companies dont realize how insecure other 2Fa solutions are until it is to late.

190  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF3301 sample chip is available [Updated 04/05/15] on: May 06, 2015, 02:25:42 PM
....
as from what I have seen the sample chips are usually a lot more expensive then final products.
Only in Bitcoin world. When you look at chips manufacturers sites you will find plenty of "get free sample" buttons.

Normally I think samples are cheaper/free if you have proper credentials.  Normally I think companies do this so you choose their chip to develop.

But I will admit this is not the standard.  It looks like they spent quite a bit of time to make a nice dev kit.  With low volume I can see why it has a high price tag.  But chips I'm a little worried with that being price.   Makes me look down the line and wonder what final price will be.

Based on gridseed's past history it will be price as high as possible as long as it sells.
This thread reminds me of an old school porn movie attempting to go slow  to get us excited.  The first 20 minutes of the movie is all tease.  This took 20 pages to offer any kind of product.

I try not to sound jaded  like other older members here , but I would be surprised to see it cheap.
Secondly if it is cheap bitmaintech will price war the fuck out of them  that was done to Sp-tech's sp20 and you know what happened when the price    war happen with the two of them coins dropped to under 190 in January 2015. I hope they price it so that is is slightly better or worse then the s-5.
Not like the Avalon 4.1 which is far better then the S-5 but cost a shit ton more.

So far I have added them on skype and still have not heard back which is really pissing me off -

But in anycase, I am not sure what type of math you have done but how exactly is a Avalon 4.1 better then a S5. A avalon 4.1 is .7 Watts as well as only 1000 GH

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SOFTWARE SALE LIVE] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: April 16, 2015, 07:08:34 PM
Dont wanna be annoying, but I found this comment under the one of Factom videos.

"Here's another easier way to secure the integrity of 29,000 books.
Create a torrent for each book, or a torrent that contains all the books, keep the .torrent, you'll have SHA1 hashes for each torrent, and you'll have the file pieces hashed as well. A .torrent file is a Factum used to validate the integrity of files transfered.

Then grab the .torrent hash and put it into a Bitcoin transaction.

You can create torrents of just about any data source, and add those torrent infohashes to the Bitcoin blockchain.

I still don't see why Factum is needed."

Can someone elaborate? Im not techie, but I guess simple solutions always win.
That is interesting. While I think it probably is possible to do it the way you mentioned, I think that would increase spam on the blockchain where factom's way seems to offer the most minimal way of putting spam(bloat) on the blockchain

Would be nice to have a bit of explanation next to the types of attacks to explain how they work
