1681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks vs Crypto | What is The Difference Between Crypto and Stocks? on: October 18, 2021, 07:04:48 PM
Backing one's opinion based on current situations is a short term measure, the long term does not change, is what I feel.

Today this one is doing good, tomorrow that one might come back into action. You are forgetting that situations change with time and it is better to use a backing statement that is not reliant on changes in situation but is backed by your own strengths.
Short term is the trader, long term is the investor. If you are calculating what is going to happen based on what is going on right now then you are going to end up being upset in the long term, but you may get lucky during the short term. This is why I understand the ones that make decisions in short term by looking at what is going on right now.

Stocks are great for long term as well, I have been investing in stocks for over 12 years, and I am not upset about that, I have a lot more money in stocks then I have in crypto because it is easier and never really cared about moving them, but if you look how much money I am putting in both then I have been putting more into crypto. Which means that my crypto worth will go beyond what my stocks worth eventually, not right now but it will happen in the future. Being good in crypto is not really that hard, you could do it by simply buying and waiting, it will go up eventually anyway.
1682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: October 18, 2021, 06:26:29 PM
Sports betting arbitraging is quite common, I guess. I have read multiple topics here in the gambling discussion, and you need to be aware of the odds on different sites. That way, you could try to take advantage of multiple sites and more profits.
I'm sorry I could not remember that I have come across any kind of discussion on sportsbetting arbitraging. I guess this is the first time that I come to know that arbitraging is possible even on sportsbetting. Thanks for opening eye. I guess this will be more effective for making easy money because we are having lots of bookies these days to find different odds to take advantage of.

We need to consider about delays on process time of our withdraws and most of the time prices do converge when we are waiting for something.
Catching the price gap quickly is more important aspect of arbitrage trading and when you are not able to move funds instantly then you should not go for trying it at first hand.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: October 17, 2021, 09:10:18 PM
Speaking of that, I remember that Chainmonsters is about to launch their play-to-earn game on Steam. But since Steam announced the ban, looks like Chainmonsters are gonna stick to being a standalone game that doesn’t rely on any game engine (unless someone out there is building a Steam-like game engine that is exclusive only to blockchain games).

I’ve read a post somewhere on Facebook that “Steam is gonna regret their decision to ban blockchain and NFT games”. I also see that MIR4 is on Steam, so I don’t know what future holds for them. If they wanted to remain on Steam, they should remove their play to earn feature which lets us earn real money or else they get booted instantly.

There’s also a crypto game called “Crypto Against All Odds” which is similar to Plants vs Zombies tower defense game on Steam. However, this one is acceptable by Steam because you play for fun and not earning real money or NFTs here.
That idea could be insanely awesome. Think about a platform like steam, but it is to play games in the blockchain world. All those NFT play-to-earn type of stuff could get listed there, it could have greenlight situation going on that players could decide and so forth. That way you would both have workshop type of place where instead of selling the game itself, people could sell NFT's of the game.

You would have both a place to start any game, "buy" them or just download them since almost all of them are free, then you would have a market like opensea in it, and you could just use that to start the game by clicking on it, then close it, and move to next game and it would all be there in a library.

It saves you from both having multiple games in different folders and put them all in the same place, it helps you build a profile for yourself which goes beyond just one game, and it allows you to have a marketplace at the same time. That idea could be a billion dollar idea, I have zero investment possibility and not a coder so I can't do it, but anyone that can execute it perfectly could get rich beyond his wildest dreams, it is literally awesome idea.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Dark Side of the Art Industry Foretell NFTs Future on: October 17, 2021, 08:24:05 PM
There has been a lot of talk about how the art world was just a way to wash the dirty money that they have. That way they would basically just pay millions of dollars for stuff that they would pay with the dirty money they have.

It is a marvelous method of doing money laundering and this was true while the art was something physical as well, this was going around for a long time and people are not understanding the differences right now we are in the NFT world. Why? Because, there are regular people spending thousands of dollars into stuff that makes no sense at all, and there are people who are doing money laundering on NFT as well by doing the exact the same thing. How could you understand the difference when regular people are making investment wrongly as well? We are in a weird world right now and it will take some time before we understand the difference.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 16, 2021, 09:34:16 PM
PSG has enough players that they could actually do something that they would not need Messi or Neymar honestly because they have good enough players. I mean Mbappe is by far the best player in that situation.. However they have Di Maria and Icardi as well which means that they have a great roster without Messi or Neymar as well.

I believe that there is a chance that they could be winning the league if those two players did not play at all for the whole year and that is the important part right now while people do not understand how important the players they already have. I get that people are expecting a lot more from them with the players they have and when there is missing players then everyone thinks that they are going to be worse but even when worse they are still better.
1686  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 16, 2021, 07:12:59 PM
Quote
Can't they both be used together?
The living proof is right under their nose. In today's world, they are both being used together. What better proof does anybody need?
I do not get why people do not understand that bitcoin and fiat can used together. Can you trade them between each other? You could give dollars and get crypto or you could give crypto and get dollars right? We are doing that right now. Do you spend crypto to buy something? I have been spending crypto to get so many things, especially for talent as well because people accept to get paid in crypto and I can get their services.

This is why I believe that we are in a situation where we are making crypto payments easily. This is why I believe that we should not be forgetting that crypto is something that we could use with fiat without a problem. Yes, it is not so much yet, it is going to need to grow a lot more and eventually it is going to happen and I do not know when that will happen but I know that it is dual right now and could continue like this in the future.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: How to protect from inflation? on: October 16, 2021, 05:59:44 PM
Actually, as long as we still use fiat for daily transactions, we will definitely be affected by inflation and that is unavoidable. Therefore I agree with your explanation, we do not need to worry about the impact of inflation as long as net returns are higher than the inflation rate. Our job is actually to find ways to increase our income, be someone who really knows how to make a profit. That way we won't panic about the rising inflation rate, because our net returns also increase higher.
Depending on what your income is and where you are getting in. For example I have been getting my income from crypto for a long time and I do care about how life got super expensive but I am capable of paying it a lot better recently. Inflation got super high but my income got high as well thanks to bitcoin going up in the past 2 years. This is why I am quite happy with what I am making and I am richer even though there is a horrible inflation in my nation.

It is really not something that important as long as your income is getting bigger faster than inflation. That way you may lose 10% because you are losing a lot more money compared to what you used to pay but you are making 50% more than what you used to make. This is why I believe that crypto is the way to get out, even if you are spending fiat, you are making crypto and that is something profitable.
1688  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: October 16, 2021, 09:41:33 AM
Damn, once again, he hit a nice shot for that game.
He might stop if he can hit the biggest money or loss everything after playing for some time.
Maybe he is not interested in joining that contest and chooses to play as well, but once he is interested in joining, I think he can hit the other biggest money.
So we can follow him to just playing without any intention to join in the contest.
At the end of the day aren't we all here to gamble? Some of us do go for the competition while the others are here just to have fun and do not care about any competition but what we all do in return is to gamble. If we are gambling and do end up getting something for the competition then someone who doesn't even care about it will share it because why not, it is free money.

However I prefer not to gamble for competition, I prefer to gamble for fun and if I am doing it properly then I am going to have fun. I rather have some competition prize in the end but if I am going to lose more than I care to admit just because I wanted to participate then I am not going to risk all the money I am putting in there, hoping that I would be winning even more than I am, and end up with literally losing more than I already am. This is why it doesn't make sense too much to compete if you do not want to.
Trying to hit the biggest return is not something that would be the simplest way to make money, I am not saying that it should be possible or easy, all I am saying that we should not be focusing on getting it considering it is not something that would be common or impossible, it is somewhere in between. I personally do not gamble for it, I gamble and sometimes it hits and that is how I get it. When you do not look for it or seek it out then you make something a lot better in return.

This is why there are so many people who try for something and end up losing while there are so many people who gamble regularly and they end up winning a lot. The main reason for this is bankroll management because if they are managing the bankroll properly then you are going to end up with something that will be profitable since you get to gamble for a longer period.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 15, 2021, 09:11:35 PM
We see both teams have weaknesses on a different side so a draw seems deserved for both but this is just a prediction, sometimes Juventus is unpredictable
They can do things we never thought of , lose against a weak team for example or vice versa let's just wait
Draw is not seen as a situation right now because draws are not easy to predict and when you look at how many draws a team gets, the odds of having a win or a loss is a bigger one and that is why people do not bet on draws too much and the odds are usually higher. It just means that you are not going to be getting something that would be basically just something that people would be willing to wager.

I would say that Juventus is a good enough team to win for example, of course it is not going to be easy and I understand that it is going to be something difficult and specially if you look at how people seem to think that Juventus is not as good as they used to be, it is understandable. However I believe that Juventus is on the right track back and they are going to be doing a lot better and this could be the game they start back to becoming good.
1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools and Indicators on: October 15, 2021, 08:11:43 PM
Aside from tradingview I do not think that we would need something. If you need to pay your taxes in a nation that request taxes too much and you are worried about it then use something like cointracker or koinly in order to pay that as well. Aside from that I do not think that there is anything you could do that would make any changes for you. Do not get me wrong, I am not saying all the other tools are useless, there are many that people use and they are super happy about it.

However having a good tool versus having a tool that you "need" are different things. If you are wondering what you need then tradingview and a tax calculator is enough, if you want something that you would enjoy then you just need to end up with something that you enjoy by testing and not from what people are saying because what people say as great may not be great for you and you may prefer something else.

Seems like my affiliates are once again bringing diminishing returns. I have been using the banners you guys have, and that had good results so far to be fair, depends on where you put them of course, I am sure there are places where you could spend thousands and get nothing in return, but I put them in gambling related places and it did bring in quite a few people.

However would it be too much to ask for better and more sizes in affiliate parts? I would be so happy if you guys could hire some more new designers and get some new banners made and possibly in many other sizes as well, banners do come in all sizes and shapes so it does make it easier if you guys would do it. Otherwise I would have to pay out of pocket to get banners for you and for me of course, these ones are a little too old, and doesn't give the full picture, something more inclusive talking about everything instead of simply just "chance for 200 bucks" would be a lot better for my marketing. However it is your choice, you may ignore it as well.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 14, 2021, 03:29:53 PM
I believe 100% that Kyrie will get the shot. He said many times that he is not against the vaccine itself and he is only against the fact that there are mandates and people are losing jobs for not getting the vaccination and he believes that's wrong. I believe that not getting the vaccination and dying while also making everyone around you sick and causing the world so much trouble that you would be willing to not get the vaccination and cause death and suffering is a worse outcome than losing your job.

So, I am in 100% full support for anyone who doesn't get the vaxx to be fired, we need people to get it so that we can go back to the world we used to live in. However Kyrie will get it as soon as he realizes he will not be playing while he watches others do. All of this "this is not me retiring" and "I am not against the vaccination" stuff are just path for him to change his stance later on.

1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you suggest a small marketcap project with high potential? on: October 12, 2021, 09:10:17 PM
I would say that small marketcap projects should be out of first thousand in the CMC world. If it is anything in the first thousand in the ranking then it is not too small cap. Of course by the end, we are talking about smaller ones but it is still quite high (you could make an argument for the late ones because it is not a clear cut from 999th to 1001th) yet it is still quite obvious that anything obviously over few million dollars marketcap will not be a small one. I believe the max should be around 2-3 million dollars marketcap in order for it to be considered a small marketcap project, anything above that line should be considered a "below average" one instead of small.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Diem thoughts on: October 12, 2021, 08:25:08 PM
It is obvious that any stablecoin type of deal, or even a payment processor that allows crypto would be basically a great thing for the crypto world. This way we end up with something that would be great for all of us, and it brings crypto to a lot of people. People who are in third world nations would be able to move money around via social media without the worry about anything else.

Everyone has social media, starting an instagram account or facebook account is free and you would basically be giving your information anyway, and even more than what you give as KYC as well, you are sharing everything about you, even what you are doing or what you did. So a crypto currency from facebook would be a good thing for us for sure.
1696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: October 12, 2021, 09:12:53 AM
you are better off using something like 1H if you want to be successful and then move into the lower timeframe for higher risk trades. Because the higher time frame trades usually end up working out unlike the mess that sometimes you see on the 1m charts.
If we take candle sticks then 1m time frame for scalping and this way when we go up with time frame then we can extend the period of holding our open positions. Smaller time frames are known for predicting non-clear trends which means such time frame predictions may trap us at any time. Overall, moderate time frame anything between 30 minutes to 1 hour or 2 hours might get us up to 80% accurate predictions.

I usually trade along with 4hrs time frame which is consistently getting me stronger reversal signals.
I guess you must be having more patience. How often you open a trade and what would be your profit/loss hit ratio. I am just curious to know you stats because I am not seeing most people do recommend 4hrs time frame here.
1697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Entering the trading market on: October 12, 2021, 08:12:00 AM
for long-term trading there is less risk and if the market pumps and takes it at the right time, you will get big profits. therefore we must know our trading style so that it is easy to carry out the strategy according to our personal wishes and comfort
I am sure in this crypto space, most people are into long term trading and also enjoying big profits over the time.
Most beginner in trading space, looks for active trading so that they do assume to make quick and massive profits whereas long term holders may make big profits only after years of holding but ending up losing all the capital. So, rather than listening to personal wishes and comfort, I guess listening to experts and pro traders may help.

Precision is something always been unknown due to this unpredictable market. You would really be seeing that kind of confusion.
When we cannot deal against accuracy then we must need to adopt a strategy which is suitable for our skills. I mean if you analytical approach is not helping you to remain precise then you must need to go for long term holding as it does not demand you to be precise.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your best investment tool recommendation??? on: October 11, 2021, 11:15:46 PM
Gold is still worth investing but prioritize more on bitcoin and ethereum since they are both heading reaching their new ATH. Or you can diversify your funds into these three investments so that you'll have more sources of profits, just do the math. But seeing bitcoin and ethereum's price as of this moment, they are already expensive so maybe wait for a little drop of price so you will have a good entry. I'm sure there will be price corrections along the way so just wait patiently.
I believe I will no more consider gold for investing purposes because after entering into this crypto space I am fully investing only with different cryptos by leaving off all other traditional investment opportunities. Because, I do believe that when you are heavily investing with bitcoin then probably you will never need to diversify your investment things. This might be sounding inappropriate for most other people but for the people for believing completely into the futures of bitcoin, definitely will sound like a highly reasonable.

I'm not suggesting anyone to leave off their diversification plans but at least we must focus on investing with  bitcoin more than any other altcoins and any other traditional investments.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most performing altcoin for October on: October 11, 2021, 10:35:20 PM
This month of October has started on a very remarkable note for the entire cryptocurrency market with ethereum almost recovering back to $4500 and Bitcoin seating above $51k price which is a good sign that October is going to be a remarkable month in the prices of most crypto coins, I will like to see your predictions on altcoins market for October which altcoin do you have faith in and what are the indices that will make that happen?
The current month of October is only 11 days old hence I guess it will be too early to look for most of performing coin for this month. Still, I guess we can go for only bitcoin investments in this month so that you will not get any big disappointment in the end. You may wonder because that you are asking for altcoin but I'm suggesting completely different one but I'm just mentioning about what is going to be highly profitable in this October month rather than risking with any other altcoin.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: October 11, 2021, 08:54:35 PM
I believe Musk is not behind anything. Not only he is way too busy to be behind anything, but he is also not the type of guy who would shut up about it neither. If he was behind shiba, he would have talked about it a million times already, not just shiba but also talk about how he is the mind behind it. He would also give himself the half of it instead of giving it away to others. Dude is a big narsisistic person literally by textbook definition and that would be impossible for him to shut up about.

This is why him not saying he is the one that created it so far is the biggest giveaway to him not being the creator. Dude didn't even invented tesla cars, he bought it and then started to rule it, and yet you never hear him saying he wasn't the founder.
