1761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Urge or Trading Surge on: May 08, 2021, 07:18:25 PM
If you are very confident about the project and willing to hold it long term, then go ahead, invest all. You would be risking everything. Either its going to change your life or you are going to drown in regrets (and financial problems).
I would never recommend that; why should we go for do-or-die kind of risk?

There are a lot of opportunities are available which will be helping us to diversify our portfolio so that we could earn in definite way rather than risking all at one opportunity which may hit or may not.

Both investments and trading are highly unpredictable which is the reason we are going for multiple options to ensure we are having good returns in average at least.

I'm seeing a lot of people are going all into bitcoin and sharing like they are enjoying good profits because of bitcoin's strong rally on every four years. Still, I agree with them because they are planning for long-term like for decade of holding and not just one or two years. It means we can go for investing into only one thing but that should be bitcoin and more importantly should be for very long period of holding like 10 or 15 years.
1762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MANY PEOPLE % DOES REALLY SUCCEED ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: May 08, 2021, 12:22:14 PM
There has been no survey on the success of the trade so far. You should view and compare statistics on various exchanges which cover at least Profit and Loss of most traders.
I'm not seeing any exchanges are providing such a date on how many traders are making profits or losses (We are only getting which coin is gaining the most in last 24 hours and which one is losing the most in same time period).

Even on social media, only a handful of people were willing to say the losses at that time. The rest are people who have recently made profits, and shared their past losses.
I'm sure social media data and experiences cannot be counted as a real one for any statistical analysis. Moreover people tend to share their sad story more frequently compared to their success in trading. Even if you notice on this forum people more frequently sharing about their losses and only very rarely sharing about their success story in crypto trading.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 06, 2021, 07:43:30 PM
Addicted gamblers are always rushing to play back thinking that it's a good day to win decently, some are to recover and some are just to satisfied their lust of playing.
But, I am not seeing any of addicted gamblers got chances to recover their previous losses but they simply lose again and then will keep trying it out of addictions. Getting satisfied for the lust of gambling is also having an end to gambling but addicted gambler never gets any satisfaction and that is the big problem of not being responsible gamblers.

You need to control yourself to avoid regretting your mistakes, always come to think of it and decide clearly. Don't be move by emotions which leads you to a certain addictions.
Yeah, listening to emotions is the root of all problems. When we start feeling our responsibilities then we can easily avoid mistakes and then regretting but once get addicted then you cannot plan up anything as you cannot think about anything except gambling.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 06, 2021, 07:02:36 PM
Harry Kane to Manchester United which would be an incredible transfer.

Harry Kane ?? For that, they will have to take the title of Neymar as the most expensive player in the world, I would also love to see that happen and I believe it's possible.
I do not think that Harry Kane would be the most expensive transfer in the world. Neymar was 222 million euro! That is a staggering amount and definitely not something anyone will pass at anytime soon. Harry Kane is a marvelous player and I would love to see him in United as well, United is already great and with Kane they could become even better (although they already have a good offense, so maybe midfield could be more helpful for them) but at the end of the day even Kane is not 222 million euro, hell I wouldn't say ANY player would be that much right now after this pandemic ridden and financially horrible season for the teams.

So I would say 100-150 is the max for ANY player to go this offseason, we do not see those huge numbers every year, sure there are 60-70 millions here and there but over 100+ is not common and after such a year I doubt teams would be excited to spend it now.
1765  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 06, 2021, 06:21:04 PM
Dont spend money.  Save money.  Invest money.
Then when you have enough, you can live off dividends and interest, and spend money and not work.  i think they call that retirement, but the idea is to do that before you are too old
I have similar view on my money hence there will be no wonder that I am completely differing from what OP is emphasizing. Money is something we cannot earn after some years of ageing hence it would be better to earn and save for the future. If we are unable to use all of our saving then our family will use our money like what we left will be the inheritance to our families and for next generations.

Saving money is more importance at the same time we do not need to be starving to save money; we need to live this moment and also will need to plan up for tomorrow also.
1766  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 06, 2021, 05:41:48 PM
If we don't raise a generation any different from the generation that raised us then corruption isn't going to go anywhere. And if people that will precede this corrupt people is going to do a different thing and not be corrupted then corruption is going to be destroyed slowly but surely.
I really wish for that, but it’s going to be a really difficult thing as any one of them that goes into politics gets corrupted by the evil leaders that are already there and they end up being the same people. When a good sheep finds itself in the midst of corrupt sheep, there are many chances that it will turn out to be the same.

But, all we can do is hope. Although I do think that sometimes it’s up to the people, the leaders are just like a reflection of what we are. And when we don’t hold these people responsible for bad stuffs they do, things will continue to be worse. So it’s up to us as the people to always react and fight against bad leadership.
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: May 06, 2021, 05:13:29 PM
Crypto currency round the world has come to stay, to foster growth in business and build trust among its users but most world leaders are head bent on tackling bitcoin by making difficult policies to affect its stability, but little do they know that this policies of theirs make bitcoin to become more influential among other crypto ,making it scarce and the most sought after crypto currency thereby making the few people that have it to hod and inflate the price to which ever amount they wish to sale on peer to peer bases...what do you think
Well, you’re kinda correct. But I don’t think any one of us would like to be living in a country where the government has banned cryptocurrency. That’s not the kind of place I would like to live in. But whether they ban it or not, the price of cryptocurrencies will always grow. I think the governments are the ones that are losing in this case. And also because people can still buy and sell it by using peer to peer, so what sense is it going to make when they ban it?

My next reason for saying that the government is losing is this: when there is a law that allows the growth of cryptocurrency in the country, there will be companies that will get into it, and the ones that are already existing will expand to it, and that means more job opportunities and also growth, the government will as well receive taxes from these companies.
1768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: May 06, 2021, 04:30:45 PM
I just discover scalping lately. I don't know but I like its way of earning in short term. Then I noticed one of my friend is doing this. I'm kinda curious so I asked him how does he make profit out of it. Then he said his target was 20% gain before going out the market. But there are times he holds the coin longer than he expected because of the unpredictable market. Stop loss is also not in his line. He sometimes earn, sometimes unexpected comes, sometimes lose. I guess the strategy itself is OK but requires much deeper analysis.
When you are good at deeper analysis of markets, then I guess you can go for any kind of short-term based trading. Because only for catching small trends, we must need to be highly skilled in technical analysis (for the same reasons we do not need of any technical analysis skill for long term holding).

Scalping will be good in cryptocurrency markets if you are able to continuously watching market and able to be trading for long hours along with good in technical analysis.
1769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: May 06, 2021, 03:43:03 PM
Long term buyers or investors have more chances that they are going to be selling at a profitable rate. But for short term investors, it’s going to be difficult, unless you’re highly skilled and can predict the price movement within a short period.
There are big differences between long-term and short-term trading and obviously on what coin you are holding will be deciding your levels of profits even in long run. Because, I am seeing lot of people are crying for not making any profits after holding shitcoins for years. Always planning with bitcoins for long term holding will definitely get us big profits but unfortunately not all the people are listening to this kind of suggestions.

if you can’t do that analysis, your success in trading is definitely going to be a really difficult thing.
People are having alternate when they are not good in analysis; they are going for buying signal from third parties or some platforms/brokers are providing copy-trading facility which gives opportunity for anyone to make profit trading without the need of any technical analysis skills.
1770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: May 06, 2021, 03:28:51 PM
It is also important to have a good friend when it comes to trading with your skills. I learn something new from them you need to come up with a plan that will allow you to achieve your goals once it’s ready just follow it to the best of your ability
You refer trading in groups? I am also seeing there are lots of benefit we can enjoy when we are trading in groups. Because it will be easier for sharing knowledge and other trading related things when we are having friends around while trading. At the same time there are chances for getting deviated just because of fun, friends usually make.

For successful traders their wins can be attributed to a combination of skilled some luck and a good trading plan to rely on.
That list must be very big and we cannot simply remember all of them at any required times and this is the reason just making all of those requirements of trading as the habits will help us not to forget any of them to follow.
1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: May 06, 2021, 01:36:06 PM
Self control will lead us to consistent profits and I agree that controlling ourselves in terms or emotions is not possible when we are newbie in trading.
Consistent profit is something, every trader is always dreaming about. Because, even I am into trading for years, I could not manage my emotions effectively. Market conditions are too powerful to deceive any trader regardless of their level of knowledge and level of experiences. So, always trading within safer limits will help anyone to make some profits rather than aiming for bigger things. I was targeting consistent profits before but later I have changed my mind as even profits are better than finishing a day in losses.
1772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 05, 2021, 09:40:32 PM
alot of people really want to hold but the daily needs of life make them sell off at little profit and solve their needs which is really good. but later they notice the coin they sold cheap is worth enough to liberate them. this kind of occurences are painful but its really not his fault. this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.
Depends on who you ask? For me holding is quite easy, I do literally nothing when I hold, it is the easiest thing in the world. Some people panic and they sell, some people get hyped and buy with everything they own, and those people are not emotionally ready to be an investor that is the only problem, I personally do not see that as a problem, I believe it is not really a problem at all because all I have to do is live my life like nothing changed and that’s it.

I am not super rich or anything but I bought bitcoin when it was under 10k and I made a good amount of profit thanks to that, I also invested into BNB when it was 37 dollars so that was a good one as well, both of which made me a good profit yet I never sold nor had to do anything, I just keep them in my wallet and move on with my life, it is quite simple. I understand others, but if you reach to this mindset, it will become easy.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Wallet problem on: May 05, 2021, 09:19:38 PM
27 % after 24h.....

This coin is really a joke...
I guess only headers will sync up to 100% after that blockchain will not get downloaded. I have been trying for last 3 to 4 weeks to sync my dogecoin wallet but unfortunately I could not find any latest configuration file setting.

You may do the other methods if you know which addy is having balance:
1.You may dump privatekey and add to multidoge wallet.
2. You can use https://my.dogechain.info to import your privatekey.

I used https://my.dogechain.info and it worked for me safer and without any problem even I hate web wallets or using exchanges as wallet.
1774  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy is booming, but people are not seeing it. on: May 05, 2021, 08:52:23 PM
US economy is finally booming and it is a big relief for all of us, but in a worrying sign people are yet not seeing that boom, and this makes me wonder what happens if the general masses can’t feel the boom, will the US economy once again slip downwards?.

Furthermore what do you’ll feel is the key reason why people are missing seeing this boom in the economy, and I have read several reasons in the media but if someone has some personal perspective then please do share it.
In order for people to realize this, first we have to look at the sentence "US economy is booming", I mean is it really? If people are not seeing it, who does? There are few elites that make a ton of money and the stock prices increase because of that and you think that constitutes as US economy booming? Just because stock prices are higher doesn't mean that economy is booming, it just means that some companies are making profit that’s it.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: May 05, 2021, 08:30:29 PM
Yesterday I saw someone mention #Dogira at Bitcointalk, then I went and bought it and quickly made twice as much money!
This is a risky situation, we are talking about something that could make you money and double your profits but we are talking about something that may not end up being that great neither, it is a risky situation and I would advise against doing this constantly. You could get lucky right now and make a profit but the next time it may not be that great so you should be careful.

This is not just about bitcointalk neither, you could see these kinds of stuff anywhere, specially twitter because that is a place where people share their "gems" and act like that is the best thing ever and yet you could lose money there as  well. I have seen tweets under binance tweets where people talk about the same token over and over again like that is the best one ever and getting tens of even hundreds of likes and that coin ends up dying in the end anyway. So be careful if you want to do this.
1776  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: May 05, 2021, 08:16:36 PM
Bull run will continue for sure but I am not sure at where, thats the question here. I mean we are talking about altcoins pumping so much recently that we forgot that bitcoin was 64k at some point and its nowhere near that level anymore. This is the problem here, we are not seeing that bitcoin is not going up that much and we should be able to see that first hand before we can say that there is another bull run.

I do not mean that altcoins going up is bad, they can go up, if you think I am talking about dominance I am fine with bitcoin going to 100k and ethereum going to 15k, let altcoins go up higher faster than bitcoin but we still need bitcoin to go up. When bitcoin drops, when many coins drop, and then dogecoin goes up, that is not a bull run at all, that is just some people making some quick profit and that's it. Which is why we need some more bull run to confirm what we are doing.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a correction in before altseason 2021 ? on: May 05, 2021, 08:01:48 PM
Hey frds what you think is this is a correction before altseason 2021 bcoz major coins are in support range .
That is correct. It is just a correction and that’s it, we have seen a huge increase in many altcoins afterwards and that was a great proof that alt season is in full affect. I understand that not many people may see it that way, but I agree that correction was the proof that we needed and the bull run afterwards is the proof for the alt season as well.

Look at top 10 coins right now, they are all green and they are all doing awesome and the bitcoin dominance is dropping like crazy, just a month ago it was over 55% and now it at around 45% and that means altcoins went up so much. Hell we have seen even Bitcoin cash going up finally, many things went up before that one, XRP as well, those were staying idle during that period and now they are doing awesome. Which is a proof that even coins that didn't went up in the last year (too much at least) are starting to pick up pace.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments destroy stablecoins in the long term? on: May 05, 2021, 07:29:34 PM
someday there is a big possibility that the government will be disturbed by stable coins crypto like tether, not only stable coins, but all coins in the crypto market, because of course if everyone puts money in the crypto market it will be very detrimental to the government, the government will be very short of income from taxes

When the governments of different countries introduce a national digital currency, then in my opinion centralized stablecoins will give way to CBDC. But by that time, the crypto community will understand that a real stable coin can only be decentralized, and in this case, states will not be able to compete with it.
That is the true answer. I do believe that the biggest stablecoin will be a decentralized one, after that CBDC will come and they will make a big noise when they first start but slowly and gradually will go down, and then the stablecoins we have right now. USDT acts as if there is tens of billions of dollars worth of interest towards it, but the reality is that every single day bitcoin rises people are moving away from it and moving towards others, which is why I think it is quite obvious we are not going to see those at the top anymore.

I know DAI is new and not a big deal just yet, but things like that will become the real stablecoin in the future, it may not be DAI, it could be something in the future that is similar to that but does marketing a lot better or people will use it a lot more, but it will be something similar to that to reach high levels.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: May 05, 2021, 06:14:25 PM
today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.
My problem that I have had is with p2p exchangers, and that’s the only mistake I have made in the crypto market that has to do with losing my money. Since then I have been very careful, and avoiding every potential. The mistake did hurt my feelings, but I learnt  a lesson from it and that was how to know when there are scammers and where there are not.

With that kind of experience, I was forced to make really good research and be able to tell when I’m falling into a bad projects and the ones that are good. But it’s always best to not experience things like that, best for you that you learn from the experience of others and avoid problems.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether (ETH) Surges to Over $ 3.2K on: May 04, 2021, 08:58:15 PM
Everyone, ETH pumping, then Binance Smart Chain could be the same (cheaper fee, faster and people are using it). Just buy!

Ether “is already years ahead of bitcoin in everything but price and fame,” according to deVere’s Green. “There’s a real sense that 2021 is the year for Ether. Its time has come.”
With 3.3k+ dollars we are talking about a huge increase. I know that it is doing fine as it is but I have to say do you guys think this is the price in of the drop on gas fee? The gas fee dropped a lot and that resulted with more and more people going back into ethereum again to use that. This resulted with obvious differences, I mean we were talking about at one point 5x higher gas fees than right now and that is why we are seeing the drop on gas fee causing the price of ETH to go?

This is just a guess from me but I think it could be the case as well. July will see it go down even more, if this increase is because of gas fee going down, it shows us that the next decrease in gas fee after July 14th could cause it to go up as well. We have to see if there is a huge increase like this on July 14th and afterwards, I think it could be attributed to gas fee drop.
