681  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack game with side bets. on: November 26, 2023, 04:49:00 PM
the representative of black jack casino has not been able to say anything with respect to this thread
OP never mentioned anything about any casino, and he is only talking about the card game called Blackjack which is why the representative of BlackJack Casino has nothing to do with this or clear any concerns anyone has regarding this thread. It is pretty clear that OP wasn't serious about what they have posted and even if he didn't have bad intentions with that app, he definitely didn't create it himself because if he had done that, he would never just abandon this thread after creating it.

So, since he has created the thread and disappeared into thin air, we should avoid this thread and move on or maybe ask mods to lock it up so that newbies don't click the link and download an application that might contain harmful files and malware or something that can cost them financial loss.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Carreer skill benefit of gambling on: November 25, 2023, 07:40:15 PM
You know when they said that anything that has an advantage must have a disadvantage? This sentence is also applicable here. Gambling helped my life before. I can’t deny that because before, I was using my last money in my pocket to place a bet just to make some changes and survive. by then When we don’t have a job, we ask for help from elders to get what we want, and that was when I gambled. But currently, I often gamble, but not like before again, because right now I do it for fun, unlike before, when I gambled when I needed money.
I don't see how gambling helped your life because you didn't mention any wins or anything, and if you did win some money through it when you were in need, I would say you were lucky because the reality of gambling is that you cannot depend on gambling when you are in need of money because you will most likely lose what you already have in gambling and then regret your decision. I know that a person never leaves hope and keeps looking for ways to change their lives when they are needy but gambling isn't that way.

A lot of people turn their faces towards gambling and lotteries when they have a limited amount of money and want to have more but it's not the right thing to do. Losing $100 in pursuit of getting $1,000 is not something wise in my opinion, that's why, one shouldn't gamble whatever little resources they have only to gain more.
683  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 25, 2023, 06:25:18 PM
That was pretty unfortunate for the lady and all the other people who had their businesses washed away by the flood and will now have to start from scratch again. It's not easy to even start a business, and establishing is even more difficult because there is a lot that goes into that process and one cannot afford to lose everything one has made with years of hard work nature is unfair sometimes and there is nothing one can do about that if they haven't prepared for it.

I agree that insuring your business or anything you own is a good thing as you will get funds if something happens, however, as far as I know, I think most insurance companies have a policy that they won't provide funds for insured properties if they are destroyed by natural disasters like floods or earthquakes, etc. I don't know if that's the case with all but some of them do have such policies.
684  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 25, 2023, 01:00:04 PM
So what my understanding of this is -

1. Operators with fiat gateway have do KYC before you withdraw because they have to keep a track whenever crypto is converted and taken out. Other's who are only crypto do so because to eventually want to comply.

2. Operators who are only crypto do not need KYC to some amount of withdrawal. Also, only cryto have more benefits like they don't usually ban you if from a banned country. You can just withdraw to your exchange and cash it out from there in fiat. I am yet to come across a very seemless and good option for this.

Any reccos for only crypto no KYC sites?
That's not completely accurate because there are a lot of casino platforms with fiat gateways or on-ramp options for gamblers but they still don't ask for KYC for smaller amounts and will only start questioning if either the amount is high or the user is suspected to be doing activities they weren't supposed to be doing and then the KYC is imposed over the player and the player has other option but to comply with the rule and go ahead and complete the KYC verification.

But I think that's not what bothers gamblers the most, what they dislike is the fact that casinos don't ask for it at the beginning and they start demanding it after the player has won some and decided to withdraw the funds because that's when the gambler is most vulnerable and they don't want any sort of trouble.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 25, 2023, 10:28:09 AM
If yes, what had been your strategy ?
When we talk about gambling games, there are no strategies that can save you from losses or make you win, and strategies that people often use such as martingale are better recipes for disaster. So it's better for a gambler to avoid using any strategies and gamble with no intent to chase the losses.

Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?
Changing games doesn't make you profitable, and there is nothing like diversifying your bankroll in multiple games to be able to get profit at the end because your wins and losses are dependent on your luck and not the games. Some people think that when they are losing, they change the game and they start winning but there is no reality in that and it's just a myth or a thought that people create in their mind because something like that can be coincidental but it cannot be guaranteed.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 25, 2023, 06:28:14 AM
This is the most common experience for all the traders especially when they are just starting, like newbies.
They didn't know how stressful trading was and how unpredictable/volatile. That's why when you do trade, you need to continuously learn and have proper risk management.
Like I told those new to trading, don't rush to expect profits, the first thing they should think about is being mentally prepared to accept losses. No one is talented enough to make a profit when they start trading, the traders who are making profits in the market also need to go through a lot of losses to get where they are today. Therefore, as a newbie, if you cannot accept losses or losses, they should not participate in trading. For me, the first and most important lesson in trading is to accept losses.
If we are new, the curiosity and excitement is present. So yeah, that's a good advice for them. I thought the first or the second thing apart from not rushing, is learning but it seems I am wrong. It should be mentally prepared like you said there, as this one is much easier. I mean you are not going through a long lesson. Because I know that there is still a difficulty on controlling our minds.

There are newbie traders who can make a profit early even though they rush, and the one that is responsible for this is their luck. Still, it wasn't advisable to be like that. That is not sustainable. If we stay like that, we can also face a lot of losses but it doesn't mean we are going to be successful later on.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: November 24, 2023, 09:25:01 PM
Ittihad situation is a bit of a weird one, normally I see them as the better team and they should be able to easily win the game but when you look at the situation they are in right now, that doesn't look like the situation and should be considered a bit different.

I think it should be noted that we are talking about a situation that could benefit them on the long run, and they have hired great players but for the current situation they are not doing that great. They may end up losing this one too, we do not really know how they will do, they are suppose to win, they are the better team, they have built a squad that could be very few teams could have in that league, and when you look at the standings you see that they had plenty of unexpected loses and that's why they are not closer to the top.

Taewoon for example is not the same, they weren't expected to be this good and they are doing much better and I believe that we are going to end up doing better with them.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 24, 2023, 07:08:04 PM
Practical life is very different than how we think about it when we are young and still studying and completing our education. We think of doing things in the future without knowing that we might not even be interested in those things anymore when we are in the future and we might go on a different path than we are expecting. This is the reason why there are a lot of cases where people gain great academic success but fail to reach their desired destinations in life because of either of lack of opportunities or interest in their area of expertise.

So, there is no correlation between academic success and financial success because as you said, the brightest student in the class might end up being an employee of a company owned by the dullest and laziest student in the same class, and we can see living examples of this all around us if we look for it.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 24, 2023, 02:46:55 PM
The injury suffered by Gavi was quite serious. Usually, the post-operative healing process for an ACL injury takes months or even a year to allow you to return to normal activities as before. So it could be said that this season is over for Gavi due to the injury he suffered. This was a major blow for Gavi when his career was going well but a serious injury hit him. Usually when players recover from an ACL injury, their performance is not as good as before and this is clearly detrimental to Gavi's career, especially since he is still very young. Hopefully he can get through it all.
He is still young Gavi journey is still long but when he suffered an ACL injury this will definitely be a serious problem in the future that the club sometimes has a strong reason not to take risks. Even though Gavi appearance is quite impressive with Barcelona statistics is significant and has a mental when on the field. ACL injuries are the single biggest challenge for any player his career is always at stake. Not a few players who have suffered ACL injuries have had their fate extinguished and their playing time reduced.
Gavi is just 19th years old with starting his career and having injury like this is surely frustrated with rest of the season is already ended mean things can go from bad to worse for this wonder kid, but it's all about game we can't prevent these from happening, but it's surely needed to settle things before joining again because few players having injuries throughout their career even few lost their bright careers as well.

ACL injury is surely serious problem and Barcelona is surely feeling heat with this as well because as all soccer fans know these injuries can bring big holes in players career because it's never been easy to handle this all, but we can hope best for the Gavi as he will recover, and we will have him in game in coming years for long time.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 24, 2023, 11:55:33 AM
I start to like this TG Casinos.
I just got airdropped a massive amount of their token just beacuse I've been playing in their casino.
I don't know why but these reviews and feedback don't sound legit to me for some reason, it's almost like the same guy who created the thread trying to praise and promote the service with multiple accounts, or maybe someone else he asked for assistance with the task. I wouldn't recommend anyone falling for this and going for the casino just because of all these positive reviews and stuff because we have to make sure that something is safe and then venture into it.

So, for anyone who wants to gamble, there are a bunch of trusted and reputable gambling platforms out there that provide first-class services to their customers, so you don't need to look around and spend your money somewhere where it might not even be worth it, and always make sure to do proper research before getting into anything to stay safe.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 24, 2023, 10:18:15 AM
In house game, I doubt casino will try to cheat on a probably fair game because bet is verifiable and easy to spot if there’s something wrong while slot games by 3rd party is a different story. It’s very hard to conclude if they are not rigging since they are close source. Trust is the only reason why people keep using them without verifying fairness of the game.
It's a different thing if we talk about third-party games because the casino isn't responsible for that and we shouldn't blame a casino if a third-party is manipulating the bets and odds of their players which can't be seen as the bets aren't verifiable as you said. A casino provides those games for the gamblers to play but I'm sure that they have it written in their terms and services that they are not responsible for any manipulation or something that happens from a third-party game provider.

Also, I think if they come to know that a third-party game provider is doing something like that, and if the casino is reputable and has a lot of trust in the community, they will simply remove that provider and all their games from their platform and might even let their gamblers know about the issue caused.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: November 23, 2023, 05:08:01 PM
ethereum is one of the altcoins that has strong fundamentals and prospects, I think it is very worthy of being recommended as a long or short term investment, especially if bought in large quantities, but we have to have great patience, because Crypto prices are uncertain, sometimes they go up and sometimes they go down, but if we hold ethereum, I think there's nothing to worry about, right, because sooner or later the price of ethereum will always increase.
That's right, entering the next bull season, perhaps ethereum could reach a price of 10k, 2x the price of last bull season. There is no doubt that Ethereum investment is a better recommendation. Strong prospects plus ethereum airdrop network events always bring treasure. the community is getting stronger to hold ethereum long term
There is no doubt that Ethereum has great potential, it's the best altcoin and the second-best cryptocurrency in the market. Based on its growth potential and the way it goes up when Bitcoin goes up a little, I believe $10k shouldn't be a big target for it in case Bitcoin reaches $100k as speculated by everyone in the market. However, if Bitcoin can't reach that target and settles down somewhere below $90k, I guess we won't be seeing ETH hitting that mark as well.

That being said, I think it should be a part of almost everyone's long-term portfolio because to me, it's the most trusted cryptocurrency after Bitcoin and if there is a coin that I trust enough to hold it for long after Bitcoin then it's Ethereum. The reason behind that is its consistent performance over the years.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 23, 2023, 03:50:22 PM
I never thought that Napoli were favorites for the Champions League. This team played very well last season, and this season their performance is not weak. Still, a stronger squad is needed if they want to win the Champions League title. They lost against Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage match. Napoli shared the points in the home match against Union Berlin. If they perform like this, they will not be able to qualify even for the semi-finals of the Champions League. However, for the Champions League, I consider Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid to be the favorites this season. Compared to these teams, Napoli is far behind.
Napoli become really different after Spalletti left and Osimhen is injured, they're going back become a mediocre club. Napoli is nothing more than a lucky club where they can perform really good only for one season.

While Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, both of them always consistent and able to enter quarter finals regardless the result is.
Agreed about this all things are going down badly with change of coach can bring some improvement but still it's not going to enough for having spot into last for their performance in Serie A is also down and in last few games they are suffering badly even their chances are high for the round of 16, but after this nothing is predictable Victor Osimhen is also not good as he was in last season and few more changes are expected in coming transfer window which can give them setback.

We have few teams which are at the top for the title and having spots into last four even still upsets and surprises are expected because these are beauty of the Champions League and without surprises having end of any season is also not entertaining.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Crowdfund for a Gambler Who Has Gambled Irresponsibly? on: November 23, 2023, 01:24:31 PM
I wouldn't be interested in doing the crowdfunding for him since he didn't make a mistake or scammed out of his money but he gambled it away in all his senses possibly out of greed and he deserved to learn his lesson. However, if I feel that he is extremely ashamed of what he did and in severe need of funds, I might do it but only on one condition, that the funds will not be in his possession and will go directly to the cause that he is worried about because I wouldn't trust him to do it if he has the funds and can gamble them away as well.

I have seen a lot of such cases where people lost money that was supposed to be used for something important in gambling only because they thought they could make more money with it and then keep the extra money and use the actual amount for what it was for and lost the money and then regretted it badly.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: November 23, 2023, 09:05:00 AM
The crave to continually win is something everyone experiences
That craving is the reason why a person gets addicted to gambling in the first place. When a person starts gambling, the first few sessions, especially the two starting sessions, will have a great impact on their mindset about gambling and what they will think about it. If they manage to win some profits in the beginning, they will want to keep gambling and their mind will keep motivating them by saying that if they could win earlier, they can win again as well.

If they lose in the first few sessions, they might have a more moderate approach to gambling in the future and they will start to understand the actual essence of gambling which is that anyone can lose in it, and there are no guaranteed wins when you are gambling and it's all misconceptions if we think we can earn a living through it or get consistent profits.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is cheaper with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on: November 23, 2023, 04:18:45 AM
If you can make interest and profit in a bank for storing your money for ten years, how about holding Bitcoin for ten years? How much will our capital grow? that will be used here when the ten years are up?

Most likely, you are already wealthy because each time Bitcoin's halving occurs, it increases by x10 more than the earned capital that we can employ here. And I've never seen the market price of bitcoin decline with each halving rather than constantly increasing.
We can only speculate or make predictions for the future based on what has happened in the past but our predictions don't need to be correct all the time. I know that the price of Bitcoin has gone up 10x or more after each halving so far, but it might not be the case in the future. If Bitcoin manages to reach $100k during this bull run then we will be expecting it to hit $1m after the next halving based on your calculations but bear markets don't always let that happen.

So, even though it's much better than holding your money in a bank than holding in Bitcoin, one should know the correct times to exit the market and then the correct time to take a re-entry so that they don't miss on the profits of each cycle and be able to buy even more when the bear market comes.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 9 Years Before He finally claim his lotto rewards on: November 22, 2023, 07:19:52 PM
It depends on the amount you've won and the amount you will have to spend on the expenses of the case and everything. If you have won a significantly high amount and you know that only a small percentage of that will be the cost of doing a case and trying to prove that you are the winner then I guess it's obviously worth it because if you get the money at the end of the day, you will have your life changed if the amount is life-changing for you.

However, if the reward isn't high enough and you might even have to spend about 50% of the total reward in all these expenses then I guess it's not worth the running here and there and attending all the hearings and stuff because even if you manage to win the case, you won't be getting much out of it.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 22, 2023, 06:26:23 PM
I have learned about Rudi Garcia's departure from Napoli newly. I got really surprised as well because it seems like everything happened so quickly. Now Walter Mazzarri has taken over and I'm quite curious about how good Napoli will be from now on. He has a history with managing this team many years ago at the same time.

Those times weren't too bad as far as I remember so this is why I'm curious about him now too. If he manages the team at a level between Rudi Garcia and Spalletti then I think the board would be okay with him to move on to another season.
This was expected because Rudi Garcia was not right person for this job start of the season was not good and now lost at home against relegation zone team Empoli done the job now we are 62 years old Walter Mazzarri for his second tenure as in first he has done good job and Napoli were able to qualify for the Champions League after two decades hopefully things will be improved and Napoli will try to keep their hopes alive for the top ranks in this season.

Board was interested with Spalletti, but he decides against this and leave club after winning title which was excellent decision because now he is doing good job with his national team and remembered as one of the best in this club history for years for his achievement.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 22, 2023, 05:24:32 PM
Altcoins are here to serve as an alternative to Bitcoin and we can see its value by giving a good service that Bitcoin can’t give and right now there’s a lot of good altcoins that helps cryptomarket to be on a good spot. What you can do right now is to look for a good project to invest with because not all altcoins are worth to invest since some are just a hyped project especially with the meme tokens so be careful and know how to manage your risk.
Many new investors make the mistake of investing in new altcoins or altcoins that are rising quickly to ride the wave and get some profits. Still, they eventually lose money because of FOMO and investing in projects that don't have any fundamental value but are just pump-and-dump projects where investors who buy during the rise will have to incur losses since developers will dump their holdings when the price reaches the peak and the price collapses after that.

So, people should rather look for trustworthy tokens and coins for taking profits because it doesn't matter if the profit you are getting isn't very high as long as your capital is safe, less profit is better than not losing your own money, that's what I believe in and that's what I always recommend to others as well.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: November 22, 2023, 01:26:35 PM
The best therapy is your admitting of what and how you gamble , because no matter what people wanted to do helping you but first you need to help yourself .
this is what gambling addiction hard to beat because we don't know what is the source and that is admittance .
if only the said gambler are willing to be helped ? surely his family are enough to make it through the gambling addiction .
Acknowledgment is important, indeed. A person who is addicted to gambling but doesn't admit it or accept the fact that they are addicted and are spending all their time and money on it will hardly be able to get any help because they are not ready to accept any help even if someone wants to help them. So the first step for an addicted gambler should be to accept that they are addicted and they are facing problems because of it so that they can get help for it.

The family or even a close friend can help them get away from their addiction once they admit it and become ready to accept the challenge. If you are addicted to gambling but aren't allowing anyone to get you out of it, you will barely be able to do it yourself because the urge won't let you.
