Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin...

I would maybe make the consideration but I also would really think about the fact to hold your stocks if they are profitable, or gonna be profitable. If this is not the case you should instant sell it and go for the bitcoin!

Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years?
|
on: October 14, 2016, 10:11:30 PM
|
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund. Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything. How many do you think I would need to buy?
Since a number of year has passed when you retire we don't know the price of the bitcoin, it can be so much higher than the price today or even much lower so just get as many as you can. You should also have some retirement fund in your current job of course and your bitcoin should just be an add-ons to it Indeed and due that we cannot predict this so its not relevant to also say how much you are thinking, I do not think that it will add something to this conversation too..

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead
|
on: October 14, 2016, 04:07:47 AM

Now you can securely store your dead coins! YASS The masses shall weep when LTC goes full tard to $150 per coin Why not 1500? 1500? to impossible to consider even on $150 price mark too which we could all see that ltc is almost dying. And for sure who hold of lots of ltc would suffer big loss indeed but who knows it would revive and do make a hard pump. Its no too late i guess. I think the only way to save a dying coin, is for bag holders to dispurse to people who have things they want to sell for that coin. Then, there is a wider interest in keeping the coin alive. I hardly think LTC falls into the dying mode, but it does seem like there isn't much incentive to create with it. Its hard to say what will happen, I think that it has no good future anymore but the fact is also that that is unpredictable these days. I really do not know what to expect from it.

Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a unexpected amount with a small amount ?

It was a really golden days , when I made above $10000 using just 0.02btc only. I am still blaming myself for loosing that all the profit because of my shitty greed. I still remember it was an incident of January 2015.
Wow interesting experience you could got wins a lot of money just from capital 0.02 BTC, because there are not many people who could got is like you, include my self, i never got much money on gambling. Yes for the most people its not possible, but the fact is also that you need an insane amount of luck to win a large amount with a small amount. The fact is even that with a large amount its hard to gamble and make more from it.

I am not using bitcoins everyday and that is only because i dont want to invest my coins into the bullshit you have to do everyday something with your coins but why doing all that bullshit for you if most of the people are just holding...
I think you're free to do anything with bitcoin, you are free not to spending in bitcoin because you prefer to use bitcoin as an investment. yeah it's up to you, but you should know that by spending then you will help bitcoin to be increasingly exist Since bitcoin is money, then doing transactions with bitcoin can only help to make bitcoin more robust in the long run but sometimes is difficult to spend your bitcoin knowing that it can reevaluate itself anytime. Everyone is expecting that price will skyrocket in future and that is reason no one is willing to spend their coins and prefer to hold them till it doesn't reach their target price. While I think that bitcoin will keep revaluating itself, I don’t think we are going to see some kind of abrupt rise in price like 200% in a day or something, but long term profits with bitcoin are within reach of anyone. Yep, long terms are getting profitable in the future, the only thing we need is patience to get rewarded in the future. Its just a matter of time before this will happen people!

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving how will it affect price?
|
on: October 12, 2016, 08:42:26 PM

People keep saying that the price of the bitcoin is going to half becuase the bitcoin is going to half but the halving does not mean that the bitcoin is going ot half but that the amount of bitcoins are at the half!
This is indeed the stupidest thing I ever heard but I think that it can affect the price a lot these days. In 2020 it will happen again and we will see what is gonna happen.

Having bitcoin instead of cash is just nice because you can make some nice amounts with it and its also that you can use it globally. Another fact is that you can make profit with just holding it too!

on: October 12, 2016, 03:12:14 PM

There is no gambling website with a 0% house edge because its something that they need to exist and stay existing. A gambling website is not cheap, you have to understand that..
You are fully right about this, there are no gambling websites with an 0 percent house edge because they than simply would never make profit or money to build up their empire.

Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do?
|
on: October 12, 2016, 03:07:49 PM

If bitcoin achieves that price in future then I will sell all the coins that I would be holding and with that money I would start my own business from where I could manage to get regular income.
Indeed who would not sell all their bitcoins for that amount, it would be such an nice amount and you can make a lot of money with it too. I think it would be very nice!

BTW: How many shares do I need to be a major shareholder?
same question? 51%, AmberTrade LTD is the biggest shareholder. DEV wrote: "it has been sent to major shareholders", so not only to Amber Trade LTD. yes 775011934, just to add, basically we are fishing for any of the major holders who received the stated "Company's roadmap", must have been a very small group (as i'm well inside the top 10), so we are asking what the definition of a major holder was. This "major shareholders" thing is little overheating I am sure nobody from https://www.blockexperts.com/amber# Rich List has any knowledge from roadmap. Except may-be newcomers, who may have some inside information. Major shareholder (owns 51% of Amber-Trade) is company, Capital Group Ltd or LLC ?, and they have more than one Very Important Persons on board (as usually), so Dev and others call The One Major Shareholder (=Capital Group) "Major ShareholderS" - there are several people, persons, and they don't like to share their title-rank-degree (=Major Shareholder). So it becomes Major ShareholderS = the one major shareholder company with 51% of Amber-Trade shares (=Capital Group). Correct me if I am wrong. I think ambercoin is just try to impress us by talking about the major shareholders. Because the only thing they care about is the company and the company alone. Maybe 2/3 friends/ share holders know about it. Can't wait to see a decent price for this coin, so i can dump my investment. What a mess.
