1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY on: January 05, 2014, 02:21:55 AM
Can't seem to sync with this coin anymore, have the latest client for certain. Anyone else?

Edit: Suppose it was simply taking a lot longer than usual to hit even one block to sync.

Appreciate the thoughts, prolom.

Awesome!  Can't wait!
While many have asked for a custom QR code, your request may have been what actually got the idea to move forward. So please PM me a public key and a mailing address, and yours will be one of the first I send out (free, as a thanks).

Very nice! Any thought on the pricing for these potentially?

Perhaps I never properly understood this site, but isn't it a losing long term game to purchase these shares? Or is the concept to purchase some shares, "mine" some coin, then release those shares and hope the mining profit is above that of the devaluation of the shares over the same period of time? Perhaps if difficulty were to experience a decline, but otherwise, is not the trend downward?

Sold to miaviator.
6  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5850s, PSUs. on: December 31, 2013, 09:54:43 PM
Hmmm, I might be looking to buy these soon.  I like the 5850s and find them to be very efficient and I think I can cram 3-5 more into some boards I have laying around.  Need to clean up the house from the holidays first and get my rigs fired back up.

Depending on the price, I might be interested in the mobos as well.  How many PCI-e slots do the mobos have?

You giving up on the mining game?
Each one varies, but as little as 3 and as much as 5 on the MSI.
7  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5850s, PSUs. on: December 31, 2013, 08:39:30 PM
where are you? are you looking for btc or fiat? USD/GBP/EURO etc..

USA,  BTC preferred, fiat perhaps accepted.

Was working a deal with a fellow to Finland, but appears taxes would be too high to receive from the states, so the majority of this stuff is still available.
8  Economy / Lending / Re: Need small loan, 3-6 BTC depending. on: December 30, 2013, 11:49:55 PM
I could do this for ltc collateral that covers the loan.

The only alt collateral I just had was stolen (see a couple posts up) due to my foolishness. The only collateral I have at this time aside from some older GPU mining hardware is my reputation here.
Yea seen that, sorry to hear/read that. But what reputation do you have? I don't see any feedback, just sent ones...

It was my fault for thinking someone was trying to help and not doing due diligence. I feel pretty stupid about it. I swear when I started here the community was not this theft-y (then again, coins were 10 or less and often people would send a quarter or  a whole coin just to get users started, times change and so does BTC value! Now the scammers far outweigh the well wishers it appears).

Almost entirely my trades were made long before this Trust system was established. I've been here for a year and a half, give or take. Feel free to ask user "Projects" for verification of my reputation (as I've done countless transactions of various sorts with him over the past year), or search the "Honest Traders" thread for many feedbacks on selling/buying coin, as well as selling and buying hardware, since that is where the feedback used to allocate. I admit, I have not done a lot of trading within the "trust" system though I do have 4 ratings within it from other users (not sure why you didn't see them).

FWIW, I did one transaction with BitCoiner2012 a few weeks ago. My risk was ~.7 BTC I seem to recall. Transaction was flawless. Would trust again for future transactions.
Appreciate your vote of confidence.

When I am trying to send my NXT, after I click "send" it simply hangs there and does nothing. Anyone experience this? Nevermind, can't relog in either, something must be frozen.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Thread: Main on: December 30, 2013, 08:48:40 PM
So when it claims I can generate the next block in 55 days, does that imply that's how long my coins need to sit to be Stake? What's my benefit to forge in the meantime? None?
Now ROI% of forging lies near 0. If activity'll grow, situation can change. At any moment u'му chance to hit the target. "55 days" — estimated time. May be u'll never generate a block, may be u'll generate next 10k blocks in a row.

Thanks to both of you.

Still haven't received my second tx from DGEX, maybe my blocks aren't updating?

Also, I have a good amount of COL coin, but I'm not sure that's collateral worthy or not. Right under 1 million COL.

Also, if someone was interested in picking up some PSUs/Mobo/5850s from me, that would possibly nix the need for the loan.

PSUs still available?

Yes, off the top of my head I have ~600w, ~750w, ~850w, and either a 900 or 1200, I can't recall the exact level of the last one.

Can't use the 600w... but I need a total of 4 to power a 10 GPU mining rig for alt coins. 5 GPUs per mobo; I'm advised to get two 850w for 5. I don't know crap about this power stuff; not sure if I can combine the 600w with the 900/1200w or what. Guess I need to get some consultation. What are you asking?

You can run multiple PSUs on one setup, for example, main PSU powering mobo, some cards, CPU, and a secondary PSU plugged into the additional GPUs, so yes, that is possible.

What cards are you using? Depending on their wattage, you might not need that many PSUs per grouping of GPUs.

VisionTek AMD Radeon HD 7950s 3GB.

Then 2x 850 or so sounds about right based on my limited research. Possibly you could get by with a 750 + a 850 for one machine?

Is it normal for DGEX to take 2 days or more for transfer..?

Possibly. They may be taking extra precautions with the attacks going on and what not. It is always safe to wait for 1440 confirmation (1 whole day) just to make sure you aren't on a fork.

Edit: Plus I think it is a one man operation and everything is verified manually. So yes, it could take that long. Better safe than sorry right?
Well, it has been marked as "completed" for quite some time, and the TX I did about two hours before that came through almost 36 hours ago.

Also, I do have some NXT. But as I may have mentioned or not, only 500 is sitting in the wallet. I have nearly 5.5k "incoming", but I'm starting to wonder if DGEX just stole my funds, since it has been two days.
