161  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: July 19, 2016, 03:33:43 PM
There is no devotee of bitcoin who doesn't think about profit. If bitcoin goes down to $1, then what's the use of it?? Why would I devote time to earn bitcoin then??

I think that Satoshi himself could be well considered a Bitcoin most fervent supporter, yet he shows total lack of interest to the Bitcoin price moves (given his 1M bitcoins sitting idly in his wallet)...

Provided he didn't lose the keys, of course
Not all people think about the price and you can see most of them on Development & Technical Discussion section. That's the proof that not all people came for bitcoin for the sake of the price but because of it's Technical behavior that benefits us as a user.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 19, 2016, 03:31:09 PM
We will see it this year for sure even over 1000
But all place high on end of this year
We're getting close and the chance that we will meet $800 is so high, I'm thinking for specific month maybe it will be October as I believe people will invest for them to spend the profit on December.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: July 19, 2016, 03:29:21 PM
Hi everyone, I'm Colin cousin, he wanted for me to give you the news because he did not want to do it.
Unfortunately Colin has no more desire and intention to continue the project because he changed his interests, from the very heavy work and by family commitments.
I know it is not easy to accept this for him and for you but tried to give the signal during these months as absconding on the thread, on github and off nodes.

Anyway thanks everyone for the support that has been given over time and for the great adventure that has been traveled. Sincerely hopes that someone has the desire and passion to continue the project.

John Lemahieu

164  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: July 19, 2016, 03:27:15 PM
Some shops already have qr codes to pay. Show them how easy and cheap it is to setup a qr transaction and how to include intirgrate of bitcoin within the store .
I saw someone on Politics & Society section, there's one guy that promoting bitcoin using QR code with his T-shirt and he tells everyone that it might work. So I guess that's a good start.
165  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DoubleBot.com - Always pays,100% guarantee. 195 BTC paid,more than 1 year online on: July 19, 2016, 03:25:52 PM
Wow, someone actually got a payout with 1BTC. As everyone can verify in the Blockchain, this is a payout from an investment done on the sixth of december 2015, so it took 7 months and 13 days for the doubling system.
It moved .01% for me looooooooooooooooooool. I just wonder that guy who got 1btc deposits last December but for me that deposited last November didn't even hit 90%, how awful.
166  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: July 18, 2016, 03:45:47 PM
trading is the best way to earn bitcoin, but trading needs timing and luck. you can earn so high if you catch the perfect timing on a coin that you have traded, you can be rich overnight if you're lucky enough and at the right time, but you may loose tooo much even if you've waited long sometimes because crypto price is very volatile, it sometimes go up very high and sometimes go down to the seabed.
If you got big investment then trading with be fit for you also you need a big time for this since you will be waiting for the price to fall and for the price to rise. It will be a time consuming yet worth the profit if you learn how to do it. You can also code a bot that let it do the trade instead of you doing it manually.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 18, 2016, 03:43:11 PM
The only advice I'd give people is don't have any debt, and have savings of about 6 months expenses. Apart from that, you can spend as you like - just don't get overdrawn, and remember that those who accrue wealth do so because they have no debts and they have capital to take advantage of various opportunities.
I hate it when people lend money like they are nice guy the time they want to lend you but after lending them they will forgot the loan and doesn't seem to care anymore. Don't even take a loan if you can't pay it.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: July 18, 2016, 03:38:55 PM
I have already mentioned this two times in this thread but people do not read the history but rather just read the topic and post their opinion. If it would be a discussion about Bitcoin crash then the topic would be moved to Bitcoin Discussion section.

Back to the topic. Chinese export declined again in April. Imports were disappointed. Japan economy sent horrible economical figures last week. And the Brexit is around the corner. The European stock markets has already sent the fortaste today.

Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.
The title of OP suggests that they are talking about crash of bitcoin but it is i crash of economies of the world. I do not realize how they want to connect them to each other.
Thanks from saying this. In fact I want to know did you compare these trends with the market trends before previous crashes of economies? Are they similar?

Well, if you post in a Bitcoin speculation section a post titled "big crash incoming" most people will assume you mean a Bitcoin crash.

I mean, it's just common sense, and you didn't specify what woukd crash, so this being a Bitcoin forum it's assumed you mean Bitcoin, so your title is misleading if you actually don't mean a Bitcoin crash.

Lol, Have we just gone 33 pages on this thread and realised that op is talking about stocks crashing and not bitcoin. Well if thats the case that the economy is going to crash this year which im not to sure about as ive not followed it close enough to know what kind of indicators would look like but surely this would be a good thing for bitcoin since it will become one of the only safe assets.
There's a possibility that our economy will crash since the money is keep on inflating, I just don't know if that will happen this year although I've seen many speculation that the economic system will crash by this year it still not been seen by people even I.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 18, 2016, 03:34:52 PM
If we are not talking about bitcoins, the best way is to create your own buisness and start earning money, food sphere is the best for this at my opinion.
Yeah! having a business will provide your a steady income because you are earning on a daily basis but you also have to operate profitably in order for you to run your business in a longer period of time.
It's not that easy because not all people can afford a money that can provide them a business. Some people have the lack and the only thing they can do is to be an employee of this big businesses.
170  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 18, 2016, 03:19:41 PM
I guess we can consider exchanging bitcoin to fiat as spending still right?
I've been trading as well like buying some coins such as Lisk, WAVES and BRK lately thru the bitcoins I've earned so yeah i'm spending by btc. Not for a commodity though. if I can spend btc on grocery store i may have spend more to the food i would eat than to the coins.

Yes I guess that is still spending. I do also change it to fiat for many times. I think as long as there is this transaction it is still spending even just putting it in a different wallet for you also pay for that.
That is possible because your bitcoins are both investment and currency, you can easily exchange your bitcoins into fiat and vice versa. It is really good to spend your bitcoins online because it is way more convenient than other payment system.

True. Convenience is a great factor. We dont want anything that takes so long to transact and getting a hard time to send it. This is where bitcoin enters for it can give all of that. Even exchanhing it to fiat is gettig faster.
And the best thing is after you send your payment you can easily see at the public ledger your transaction and that makes you comfortable which gives you assurance that your transaction is transparent.

Bitcoin transactions are transparent for sure and above all the credits are instant which makes bitcoin unique from other payment systems.

It's great that the one doing the confirmation in every transaction we made is the miners that will surely not gonna fool the transaction we process since they benefit from it too. There is also another reason why I want it, the government can't control it.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: July 18, 2016, 03:17:06 PM
for me no.. i always lose , what i mean always is everyday Smiley
Yes me too, but it is still fun for me and my friends because we play gambling with low capital and can lost it. And we don't think become rich people from gambling because gambling is just for fun for me and my friends.  Grin
It's just too stupid that you don't even realize that your earnings is just wasted in gambling games everyday. Like you don't really get the idea that you should really need to stop?
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 18, 2016, 03:14:41 PM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?
If you're talking about online gambling, you can request a ban on whatever site you gamble on. I believe most, if not all, gambling sites will IP ban you if you contact them and explain that you have a gambling problem.

Never knew of this that there's a certain solution like an ultimatum for a person get addicted into it. A good idea and this must be put in all homepage of gambling sites. Like saying "we will help you avoid gambling if your addiction came at worst point"
i dont think that it would help too much, thats like putting the text on cigarette packets, it just doesnt help when person is addicted to it, i think person should somehow take his mind from it
Oh I get it now. So by your older post, it is the user that want to quit his gambling can suggest is the one who's going to ask to block him out by the gambling site IF ONLY the gambling site want it too?
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 18, 2016, 03:13:14 PM
Never actually. how can something fun make you cry ?
Gambling is no a pure fun.

Have 50btc and bet it all once in dice and if you lose, absorb it and after 5 minutes recognize your reaction and let's see if that doesn't make you feel like you want to cry.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 18, 2016, 03:08:14 PM
The next 20 years is really long long time. I think you need at least 300-1000 bitcoins or even more to retire in the next 20 years, but for now you can earn bitcoins for next 20 years.
Even 300 bitcoin would be fine as when the bitcoin will increase as time pass by then the value of what you are holding will be enough to live a decent life.

I don't think so 300 to 1000 bitcoins will be enough for retirement after 20 years. he probably need more and more to spend him retirement life with all necessaries and necessities.
and 20 years are too long period of times. if he start today to make bitcoin I am sure he'll make more then many thousands of bitcoins.
It depends on what type of lifestyle you're currently living, if you use to spend 50 bucks every then probably 1000 btc is not enough but if you're the type of guy that's feel enough for 10-15 bucks 300btc will be great for you since the value of it will increase dynamically you should expect than your 300 btc will give you more money to spend for your 20 years of retirement.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: July 18, 2016, 03:04:51 PM
Yeah, I got lucky a few times last year, I won $400 from 4950x wins on Dice games. How it feels..? Like you just conquered the world haha Cheesy It's an awesome feeling.
oh wow those are insane wins, i guess you had to try it a lot of times to get it, in my opinion the luck feels really great, i remember winning big so my body started shaking
I dont think thats a good idea because we know luck is not always on our side. Actually luck is very rare on our side. Thinking that you can do that again always resulting in loss.
Luck will just come when you least expected it, and you should not expect it when you play because you will just get tired waiting for your luck and you will not notice that you already lose your entire bankroll.

Waiting for luck is like is like waiting for a dream to come true by itself. It is just an easy way to hope for riches without working for it yourself so that is why it barely will happen.
Luck exist you just can't predict when it will hit you so you can't wait nor expect for it. Just let it do the work while you are staking your money in gambling. Luck will neither be your friend nor enemy.
176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: is Russia really supports Philippines and Vietnam against china? on: July 18, 2016, 02:59:18 PM
is Russia really supports Philippines and Vietnam against china about the maritime territory conflict.? Russia and china are well know alliance, will Putin statement is through? if its not, i smell a world war 3.
Good news if we have such alliance like Russia, Russia is a big help for us. Not for starting a world ward but for assisting us.

I don't like the concept of having a world war 3 because even though we have big alliance, they won't stake all their military force just to help Philippines they still think on their own fellow countrymen. If WW3 started any side of it is a losing situation for Philippines.

There is one eternal rule in China, once the army is in motion no one knows how far it will go... Including the leadership in Beijing;-).  Rule 1 never angry a dragon, find harmonious peaceful sustainable beautiful and elegant solution easily reframe by a win-win.
Right but the fact that China refrain from engaging any good negotiation with Philippine it will never be a harmonious as what we think. We can't just simply give our island that's been prove in tribunal that recently happen but at the same time we don't want war that China looks like that's what they want to happen.

Im still hoping China will engage in a negotiation eventhough we're facing currently a cold war.
177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will there still be terrorism from the same groups in 20 years? on: July 18, 2016, 02:53:31 PM
What are your opinions on the evolution of terrorism? How long will it continue and do you see an end to it?
War will never end as long as there are religion that oppress and abuse people, government, world system and human mind that give us the right to think of our own perspective. That's why we have terrorist because their perspective is against our perspective, the reason it conflict with what others want and give division on our race.
178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why You Hate Suicide Terrorists? They are Victims too. on: July 18, 2016, 02:43:42 PM
Because they kill innocent people. And nothing will gonna change the fact that they are killer. I think they are not victim. They chose to become a criminal and thats the point that they do yhe crime in their own will.
They are victim, they kill innocent people because their leader make them believe that if they do that act they will get a reward(maybe that's an afterlife). It's a brainwash act that results to make them do what their leader say.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Facebook is responsible for the content posted by their users? on: July 18, 2016, 02:30:57 PM
There is an anticonstitutionalist organization that what to make Facebook pay for what the users post on it... They believe Facebook is responsible for terrorists attacks Huh

In my opinion it is insane. Beside the assault of the second amendment there is a strong community worldwide fighting to dismantle freedom of speech too...

Anyway good luck censoring steem, synero or what ever uncensorable networks... What I fear is that once they get Facebook responsible they could then censor and make everyone hosting a node on a p2p network responsible...
Facebook has their own ToS to be follow. We should stick with that because it's their own site and we're just participating with facebook site that Mark Zuckerberg owns. I don't see any reason how facebook is the one responsible in it since we'd give a freedom to use it freely as long as we don't violate any certain ToS.
180  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Right to Ban Denial of Traditional Family Values. on: July 18, 2016, 02:28:23 PM
As long as they don't oppress people in their group it's good to let the culture stay but if the teaching on their culture harm anyone then better get rid of that culture and learn to adopt with the progressing world we have.
