361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 05, 2016, 01:24:32 PM
Why gambling is so addicting it is very simple answer we have chance to win very good amount with stake amount on bigger odds, it is no wonder some people are very lucky and making huge profit just by playing on some casino games and they are sharing their success stories which make gambling so attractive and we got addicting by keep trying all the time.
Casino are attracting people but the possibility for winning is rare and always casinos make huge profit. Only some people are extremely lucky to win. Gambling excites the brain of money hungry people. This makes them ignore the risks and keeps on gambling always.
Casino can attract people because of the way to earn profit, it's so easy yet too risky. If people can only know that not only the easy way is the reason on gambling but also the high risk that is being accompanied with it then I think they will know how to mange themselves to gambling.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 05, 2016, 01:16:49 PM
The bitcoin can hit the 800 dollar each at the end of this year for sure i think that the bitcoin price will be 1000 dollar at the end of the year 2016
for sure but i am not very speakable about because the bitcoin is doing strange things.

I think $800 will be achieved after few months of halving, and at the end of the year it is possible to touch $1k to $1200 price, it will interesting to see what will be the price at halving.

I do not think we would reach $1k or more at the end of the year. Let's see the effects after halving, if the price is getting down is really difficult to reach $1k. $800 previously  I  thought to be achieved before halving, because when it has reached the price of $770 but after that prices are falling so far, so I can not see what will happen in the next 5 days when halving occurs.
$1000 by end of the year? Sure it is possible and going to happen. See how rapid the adoption on bitcoin is progressing and keep on making a big way to developed?
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 05, 2016, 01:15:01 PM
Most casinos that I go too its usually the rich Asian community that spends the most money. Most regular middle class white people they end up only playing slots and losing
You are very right, most of the casino have slots which makes people loose lol. Anyways, if I would get very rich then I will probably not gamble because I gamble for money and when I have it, why even gamble more ?

Yeah, there is no need to gamble anymore because you already have too much money. If they will argue that gambling is for fun, there are a lot of entertaining things to do that does not involve losing money. There are sports and other recreational activities that will give you good health and hours of entertainment.
But it is easy to earn moeny if you are rich because you have a good amount to gamble and thus you can bet higher such as 1btc per btc and by that you can safely earn a profit of 1 btc a day.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 05, 2016, 01:08:17 PM
People are buying, accumulating, adding to their bitcoin stack and hodling, anticipating and keeping in mind the upcoming halving.

Yeah I second that. As long as people keep buying Bitcoins and don't sell anything the price will continue to rise. When everyone decides to offload their stash for profit the price will drop then people will buy again and the story will repeat itself. I expect to see a pump before the Halving though as it will be an opportunity for the speculators to make some easy money this year.
There are so many peopel who think that bitcoins are only rising but that is not true there are to many drops in the bitcoin and that is not very
nice because i dont want to see the price dropping becasue there will be allot of peopel not making profit with it.
Normally in the Bitcoin world sudden price fluctuations can be attributed to market manipulation by large holders of the virtual currency, the price is not dropping just it is stablilized.
Yeah. The drop doesn't affect the price because it was easily covered with continuous rise. So even a small drop happened it is still not bad at bitcoin at all because the price is keep on increasing.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 05, 2016, 12:41:36 PM

That really matters on people on how they treat gambling and if they look at it as source of income and keep gambling every and losing so much money with it well i can say its very wrong since were throwing money with that but if we treat it as past time hobby or do it sometimes well thats ok because it can called healthy gambling you will not get addicted nor lossing big money  with it we only want satisfaction and thats ok.

I think gambling will not gonna count as healthy at all because of gambling you can get an addiction and addiction is a mental illness that are hard for someone to overcome if you will not get rehabilitate and will talk to a psychiatrist for preparation and medicine for you or what to do to overcome this kind of illness.

But Gambling can only be considered wrong if it does have contribute to the negative effects that are currently happening to your life,

Even though you are addicted to it, as long as you are financial stability and emotional and social responsibility are not affected, then I think there is no wrong on doing that and continuously play gambling games.

Even if you are thinking that way, gambling will still be wrong because it is just a material thing and I think gambling is not really important in life, and the thing gambling promote is just people just waste money on a gamble and I think that is wrong already even if there are many good side people may acquired in gambling.
Yes very true gambling does throw a lot of money and it was just a game. Maybe people like gambling because they are already addicted and hard to leave. Bitcoin is wrong or it depends on the viewpoint of each person.
We all like gambling in the first place and our intention for the first time is get ourselves entertain but later due to some good times where we win, we do the dangerous things and we shifted our interest more on the amount of winnings, and that would lead us to being wrong and blame gambling due to bad outcome.
Pretty sums up everything. Everything you do will affect you so all the decision you make will result to something wether it's good or bad outcome. You shouldn't blame anyone even the game itself because you're the one who made decisions.
366  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2016, 12:34:19 PM
I think the halving is very Good, the profit is duplicate in one year.

Halving is good for the bitcoin users and the one who have bitcoins with them to get some profit on this event. but i am not so sure if it is good for the miners as the reward is reduced to half.
Halving will not be good nor bad on bitcoin because it won't affect the technicality of bitcoin and only the price of it. The one that will really suffer from halving is the miners.

It will "only" affect the price.... You say it like it is something minor. Supply and demand is the most important basic rule of any market in the world. Also, miners will only suffer if the price goes back to $300-$400's. If the price stays around the current level or just goes up higher, then miners will have nothing to complain.
Agreed. Price is already a major influence that affects bitcoin because a big price means a great progress in bitcoin is happening. $600 is not quite high for miners I think it should be $800 above.

368  Economy / Economics / Re: China currency and effects on BTC on: July 04, 2016, 07:36:16 AM
So with China devaluing currency and the Chinese citizens looking to get their money out of Yuan, do you think buying BTC will be one of their means for doing so?  I dont know much about the capital controls, but if the citizens cant easily take their Yuan and buy other currencies maybe buying BTC will be easier and more efficient for them?  This would be very good news for the BTC price.  Thoughts?

Chinese buying bitcoins, their numbers are large which may bring an increase and huge demands on bitcoin. Given the supply of bitcoin at this moment if the consumers were actively demanding for bitcoins it is likely that the price will go up and many will enjoy. It is one of the most awaited event in bitcoin its increase in price. Chinas passion to bitcoin will help on the increase of its market value which is positive.

I agree, if the price is really making a real demand continuously then we shouldn't see a big dump on the coin, we should only see a slow price increase on it. I really think that the price on the bitcoin is being manipulated by chinese considering the news that I've been reading that more and more chinese are adopting to bitcoin to make a good profit.
369  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: July 04, 2016, 07:33:36 AM

That goes to show you how ignorant evolution believers are. They can't fill in the holes, so they use their imagination. And they intentionally forget to look at the probability math that shows that evolution is impossible - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1454732.0 - and all other kinds of things as well.

Evolution. Fun religion. Neat sci-fi story.

Cool

It is funny that religious people don't want to believe that we have similarities with ape and they don't want it. But if their priest says that humans are made out of a sand, they don't go against it. Lol
370  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 04, 2016, 07:31:07 AM
if I have stable bitcoin income, let says 0.5 per day, I quit my day job and give full time on bitcoin, but as of now saving bitcoin is my first priority then learning for some bitcoin investment to get my goal in the future.
I think you should consider you health because you can do that if you work whole day without sleeping but if you have skills that you can used in online i think you can do that. But I think its good if bitcoin threats as side line.
If you want to consider you health then it's better to have a daily job and stop making bitcoin a side-job because your daily job has insurance that will give you secure your health whenever you encounter some life-risk issues about your health. But you will miss the chance to earn in bitcoin and might get a chance to profit big. So the risk is if you want to take a risk of your health then make daily job and bitcoin job simultaneously but if you are worried about your health then just do daily job.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: July 04, 2016, 07:28:29 AM
Sometimes my friend ask me to teach how to get bitcoin but i do not know how to start to teach them very difficult to says. I just give advice to self-taught if want to know how to get a bitcoin browsing and read an article about it.
That's right if they are interested but what if they aren't. That's how tough ways go, you need to have a longer patience answering all their questions and doubts about bitcoin.

Price will be always manipulated by big whales and there are many people who keep on saying that bitcoin will not survive in long run so that people get panic and they sell it lower price.

I dont think so that btc will not survive in long term cuz all are in for that
Maybe it will be little hold up but that will be for few months

Bitcoin now is a normal currency and people are using it for their normal use as like currencies and its market cap is now much huge so it is false that bitcoin will not survive for longer.

I think Dux2K has a point, even we're using this as a normal currency and more people are get use to adopt into it if there's still a manipulation happening on the coin then it is not good for bitcoin. If there are still whales that can manage the price then if we have a quick adoption to bitcoin it will not change the situation that there are whales who can manipulate the coin.
373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IS THE USE OF INTERNET MAKING YOU EMOTIONLESS? on: July 04, 2016, 07:24:13 AM
I am just spending more of my time on internet than spending it with my buddies i think that is the only thing that internet changed me but im sure that i still have a good social life outside the cyber world and i still have a complete emotion . I can still laugh so hard , i can still feel a pleasure and even a pain physically and emotionally .
very good. i have also the same feelings. i think there is no such element in internet that can make a person feeling less. i also set all the time in front of computer using internet but still i am sound and healthy having sound body and feeling.
well i agree with you with everything you just said except for one thing. this circumstances are more observed in the current generation. young people nowadays have a great deal of tendency to be more snob and emotionless.
I also feel that the youny generation of 21st century who spent more time on internet are becoming emotionless.
They are losing track of the basic human instinct. They are mostly engaged in their virtual life and are less concerned about being together with other people.

Lol, what are you talking about? People who sit in front of their computer everyday has nothing to do with their brain. It's their natural thing, to have emotion. You can't remove it in every person unless they remove the part of the brain that manage to make emotions.
very good i have the same feeling. i think if a person is alive he must have emotion. the only this is that some people have control on their emotion and some do not have control on their emotion. other wise emotion is some thing natural that cannot be removed from a living person.

Yeah but you can't remove the fact that we have an empathy, most of people had it. If you don't, you are immediately classified as psychopaths. People who can control their emotion can still feel empathy if they feel the situation reflect them.
374  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: July 04, 2016, 07:21:05 AM
The most popular and trusted method to earn bitcoin is Signature campaign. Many other option is also available but i think the best other option is buy some bitcoin.. then wait for sometime till value increase and then sale them.
I agree that signature campaign is the most used way of earning bitcoin but I suggest not to do it for a long time, because it will drain your brain in thinking all things that you need to posts. And there's also a disadvantage if you are not good in writing english  sentences. I better recommend to just earn a big amount in signature campaign then do a poker for daily living, there are things you consider to make a sure profit everyday. All the strategies can be learn by using google. I've been doing this for 1 week and give me a decent profit of 7 dollars a day.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 04, 2016, 07:18:17 AM
if there is a exchange site that allows users to invest i might just dive into it without even checking backgrounds Smiley
i only notice gambling sites that allow investments though. bitvest.oi seem good.

There is betking bitdice and moneypot. Betking minimum is 0.01btc and moneypot doesn't have a minimum. Give them a go and see what you think. My investment at mineynpot grew by 2% in only about a week and a bit.

Investing in casinos is a good option to grow bitcoins but these are very high-risk investments and also there is no guaranty that it will repeat the past performance so you may or may not get 2% profit every week. It is better to diversify your investments on few good casinos to avoid big loses.
There's an assurance because not all people who play in the casino you invested will win, there is and there will always be a high-staker that will lose their money. So I think you don't to worry about losing a profit because it will surely give you no matter what will happen.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: July 04, 2016, 07:16:57 AM
Hell no
Any reason behind it ? I think more people here demand stable prices than the ones asking for variable prices. May be that is because users are worried that the price might go too low also.
pff, dont you think that the stable prices are really boring? in my opinion theres no need for a stable price because less people would be interested in bitcoins then for sure

many traders nowadays need the prices to fluctuate as much as possible to be honest, in my opinion there is no reason not to like the price being not stable, i hope that it will keep on moving
I think you should carefully analyze, if this is going to be stable that means it is strong and it will become more popular because the large merchants will surely adopt and we know that they are not interested in investing so they are after of a stable price.
The answer is very simple, more stable means more popular and that is the general rule, we need to achieve that level if we want to attract more users of bitcoins and to generate massive adoption.
I agree, the more we get stabilize the better the result is. It means that things are getting well because we meet the highest demand on bitcoin that no one can manipualte it now. I just don't want to see bitcoin stabilize in this value, we need more numbers and I think the bitcoin should stabilize atleast $200,000 value.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 04, 2016, 07:15:13 AM
the more rich i am the more i want to gamble Wink

i have joined BTC in VERY early stage, im one of oldest guys here.

and im still playing all sports and dice games
The only problem is how many coins you have stake to profit. Because we know that to make a good profit we need a high bankroll. That's what I think is the advantage of rich people.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: July 04, 2016, 07:13:44 AM
I can't see any reason not to use bitcoin, casue bitcoin giving to use an opportuinity to become rich, sure that everyone can't do it but anyway everyone can earn some money.
For sure, it is our only opportunity to become rich just like what happened to the early adopters of this bitcoin, they are already enjoying now and living a comfortable life. To have a good stay here, we need to risk something to achieve something, nothing is free for sure.
For people who make a decent earning in their life for having a business, they don't need to use bitcoin anymore. Eventhough they knew bitcoin if they are earning well, then I'm pretty sure you can't let them use it.

Even I who earn well will think "Why should I need to use this one if I have a decent way of getting rich"
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 04, 2016, 07:12:07 AM
Knowledge about its existence for one? Other than that they are probably just waiting for it to become more used overall.

The moment they can use it to buy anything on/offline then it will be the number one form of transactions for sure.

So the thing that stops people is that they doubt bitcoin. They doubt the fact that bitcoin is really used for online transactions.
On the convenience that it can give to the people.
For those who know bitcoin. yeah.
But the main problem we have is majority of people don't know bitcoin so they can't use the things they don't know. That's the wall we have why other people don't use bitcoin.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 04, 2016, 07:10:58 AM
if you wanted to loan money, you have to think of how you vote that returned it, because it would be very disturbing if that person does not know how to restore it. if you want to lend bitcoin or money for a business, you must make sure that the business that he lived it truly could restore the money you lent. but it is better not to give loans because it is quite risky

Loans are really very risky once you are not prepared on getting loan or you don't have something to pay back your debt.
And tendency the lender will just loss the trust he gives to you.
Or better to have collateral in return.

I agree. But that's why scammers make ways to run the money of the one who's giving a loan. If they can't assure to pay the things they get loaned, they look for things like faking their documents to run away with the money.
