You can't save the planet, planet will always undergo changes. That's the reason we have different era/age. Things will always change no matter how you keep it that way. Accept the fact that the only thing human can survive is  to find another planet that is most likely the same as Earth.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitvest bans me because I support Trump on: July 29, 2016, 07:33:42 AM
Earlier this evening, I got into a discussion on why I support Trump and why I am against progressive politics.  I was as civil as possible and tried to be articulate.  Sometimes, what I say doesn't come across as such but I really do try now these days.   There are a few people I disagree with on the Bitvest website, one is the mod who is constantly there all the time, Sparked.  He made a bunch of silly left wing statements that are easily refuted.  I replied with facts.  This occurred in the in the past week sometime and was forgettable by an large.  Tonight, Bitbettor asked me why I supported Trump.  I stated my position and replied to his answers the best I could.  I lay down for an hour and come back and suddenly I am banned from chat?  Just wow, you can't take any dissension in thought on your puny site?  This is exactly why I am anti-progressive because you ban people for saying thing and having a position you don't like.  People are under the impression that info tech is pro-free speech and pro-privacy, let's be honest, nothing can be further from the truth.  Silicon Valley and info tech loves themselves some fascism.  I say no thanks.

You should consider that there are people that when they lose in an argument they will use another action which is not related in what you guys are arguing so they think they'll win. It is more of an act of being immature.

24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: July 28, 2016, 01:33:59 PM
Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.

I agree with you if you are only considering pure casino games, but if you put poker and sports betting in that equation, then I can't agree. There are many professional poker players, and sportsbetting professionals, that dedicate their life to those games, and are consistent winners in the long run. They don't win every time as that is impossible, but they do make good profit in the long run.

I'm holding a Sports betting competition, we are now going to our VIII edition, and we decided to create an Hall of Fame, to track the progress of our competitors, and even there you can see players that are doing well consistently over VII editions. Take a look at our Hall of Fame:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522.msg13024635#msg13024635

I do believe that you can win in the long run if you are good at poker or sports betting. And you can do that even if you are not a professional, as you can see in the link above.

I must agree with FrueGreads on this one. I'm participating on this competition and I made it to that Hall of Fame, and I'm now in 7th place there.
I'm not a professional gambler, so if I can make profit in sports betting, I guess everyone can, if they take a serious and controlled approach to it.
I see bitbollo and Omikifuse on top of that list, and they have 7 prizes on the last 7 competition, and made a profit of 1.9 and 1.5 BTC just on prizes, and then got the profit form the bets alone. Those competition last for a month so its 7 months now in profit, so that looks like profit in the medium/long run to me

It's because poker and Sports betting give doesn't require pure luck, it gives you a chance to learn or practice your skill with this games thus making you profit even though you'd stayed on the game for a long run.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 28, 2016, 01:29:31 PM
I am still surprised this thread about "gaming being a sickness" is still ongoing. I am pretty sure the OP meant sickness=addiction and everybody here is comparing it to having a disease.
I think sickness way better than addiction, this is something like a possibility that may result to addiction but still this two is not good for you wether the effect is worst or not.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: July 28, 2016, 01:11:55 PM
Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? I think my work is affected due to addicted in gambling like playing online roulette. Can someone help me to get away in gambling. Gambling made my home life unhappy Cry .
My work sometimes is getting affected, because im aving some typo errors in making docs, but anyways that's just small problem in the profit im making in gambling.
wait a minute, you do typing errors because of the gambling? how is this even possible? my life is not effected by bitcoin gambling because i usually dont do any of that
Maybe it's because he's thinking when he can gamble while sitting on his office. It's like you can't focus on your work because you feel uncomfortable when you can't gamble.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: July 28, 2016, 11:45:42 AM
We should believed in bitcoin for the continuous increasing its value and also it helps to build stronger future of bitcoin if we continue to used and promote bitcoin.

Yes we don't have nothing else to do but keep on believing in bitcoin for sure we are going to benefit from it and going to make some profit when ever the price of bitcoin is going to increase for the next months or years. That's why don't lose hope for those people who are late investors.
Just keep on believing and you are going to have profits too just like those big time bitcoiners
Believing will not help all, we also need to move. By how? We should help the community circulate bitcoin so that the supply won't cut. This is what's happening now, people hold most of bitcoin making the circulation a little bit slow.
28  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: July 28, 2016, 11:41:53 AM
Thats the question. Would you keep a twitter account a live and post? Would you translate from english to your language? Would you solve captchas?

What would you do for 1$USD per hour?

Can you do it for 8 hours a day?

And for 2$USD? 10$USD?

I'd rather work in a day job rather than doing captcha's or translating. Because you will have a stable job and a fixed salary . You can also gain more profit if you will be promoted at higher level. But now, I would rather pick to translate language to language because its much easier than others and you also gain profit higher than captcha solving. Captcha solving is also easy to do but the time you use is so much wasteful.

Doin captcha is really tiring in spite of being a very simple job to do. As you said id rather find a day time job than to waste my time on captcha and faucets. In having a job you could earn  a fix amount that would be greater then $1/ hour. If you do have money then invest into trading  it might give you a good profit.
Most people in third world countries is having a stable income in solving captchas and that's right you can get a 1$ per hour in this work but you should be patient and not too lazy when working on this job.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: +$20 in the last 24hrs... on: July 28, 2016, 11:40:22 AM
The +-20 dollar price change in 24 hours is just 4% of the bitcoin price. It is small in the standards of bitcoin.

I think the bitcoin is much more stable than before. Maybe because it has more users and price is also higher.

The time for stability is not just now. It will come if more whales will buy bitcoin. Right now too less people got too many bitcoin.
Which is why it is too easy for them to pump the price.
Stability will be achieve once miners mined all the bitcoin blocks. Once we reach the total volume of bitcoin which is 21million, stability will come in and slow deflation will be the next behavior of bitcoin that will benefit us.
30  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Seeking some advice. How does one start to become an escrower. on: July 28, 2016, 11:37:18 AM
Hi guys.

I want start another adventure here at Bitcointalk.  If you don't know, the first one was asking how to get in a good signature campaign as I posted here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1498626.0

It wasn't easy at first, and I had to prove to the managers that I am worthy enough to get in.  And thankfully, I got in very good signature campaign.  Ros of Betcoin is really great.  Props to him.

Now I am seeking advice on how I can become an escrower.  Where do I start and how do I gain the people's trust?

I'm also hoping this thread will be helpful not just to me, but for the other readers as well.  Thanks.

This is a really basic question just like when you were asking how to join a signature campaign... is your account bought or did you just post nonsense for the past years not understanding how anything works? This is totally bizarre. You clearly can only be an escrow if people trust you. I see no one on default trust trusts you. You're starting from nothing. Want to become an escrow? Do trustworthy things on the forum. When you have more trust than any average DT3 or DT2 you can look into being an escrow. If you start offering the service now no one will use you and some DT2/DT1 members may even tag you.
How to build up a trust? One of the hardest thing to do on this forum is to have a trust on other pioneer users. Others don't even entertain people so it will help user to build a trust.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 28, 2016, 10:07:36 AM
I think bitcoin in whole will continue on this upwards trend, but there will probably be drops during this year. I think that Bitcoin will reach around 850 but it will stabilise at around 750.

You are right that bitcoin will reach to $850 and maybe it come to $750 , But I am not seeing that its price will come back below to $650, now a good time for bitcoin has been started and thus the price will be better with each passing day and one day it will be an established currency of the world.

The bitcoin price shall trade around $660 in the next few weeks, then it will rise to $700 and trade around there.
the price has started rising and i hope that within next month it reach $700 and by the year end we can expect a good price rise around $900 to $1000.
Just keep calm guys as of today the price of bitcoin is quietly stable but we are hoping and wishing that the price will rich $1000 and above before this year was end because we like to have big profit in our investment even without investment is the earning in every method we have in getting bitcoin.
Well it's good that bitcoin remain stable for awhile so people can be confident to give services and offer rate that they know won't make them lose a money.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2016, 10:05:13 AM
Perhaps the network is not as decentralized as many think, I believe that one of the main problems for the decentralization of Bitcoin is that more than seventy percent of the mining power is concentrated in Chinese territory, with low number of mining pools with most of the haspower.
As long as there are whales that can manage to control bitcoin's price, bitcoin will never be a decentralize currency. But at the same time this pump is good for people that doing a trade as their daily income.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: July 28, 2016, 10:03:04 AM
i do buy bitcoin because  i believe that someday i can be reach my dream by means of bitcoin. and for other reasons i used it for online shopping and mostly i used bitcoin as payment method.

Buying bitcoin has a great benefit not just for the buyer but also for the community. Since buying them will make the buyer get a profit, the community will also get a demand making it beneficial for all of us that use bitcoin.

34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 28, 2016, 09:53:15 AM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards
Same situation sir im being addicted too in gambling two years ago everyday i do gambling if one day i cannot gamble i feel sick see what addicted me in gambling. I have no luck in gambling but now i stop gambling i find another hobby not to gamble now i go in trading and here in forum. The best thing you can do self decipline.

It is good that you finally stop/quit from gambling in your own and you made it without any other people implicating.
And for me, your new hobby are much more better that the old gambling hobby, cause for me you can just lose lots of money in gambling but in trading if you have patient then you can earn money in a long run which is good.

agree with you, Im ex gambler too, now im focus at etc trading and mining today i earn arround 0.1btc that's big money for me, because with gambling im never win any amount. and trading make me forget to touch gambling again.

It is really going to help a gambler if you are going to get addicted to other thing because if you are not going to put your focus on other things for sure you are going to have hard to avoid or stay away in gambling. It is better if you are going to be addicted in trading rather than going to be
addicted in gambling, just saying.

Yes, addicting other habits are a good idea to stay away from gambling. But for that don't choose to trade. Yes if you want to stay away from gambling. Then you should stop using Bitcoin. And first, stay away from Bitcoin. Then you can quickly come out from gambling.
This is not a good idea because even though you stop using bitcoin for gambling online, there are different ways to gamble in real life. If you're really addicted in gambling you can find ways to satisfy your addiction and by that removing bitcoin in your life won't benefit nor solve your problem.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you earn 5% interest daily on your bitcoins? on: July 28, 2016, 08:59:04 AM
in my opinion the key thing for that is just trading your bitcoins in order to make some profit every day, i dont know any other ways of making the money with bitcoins
Trading needs a quite big capital to make a decent profit a day. If OP lack that then he's not eligible to start trading, better think of something like a service that OP can offer. It's good if OP has some skill then he can try that and offer on this forum.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 28, 2016, 08:40:12 AM
Investing is the best thing to do with your money especially if it is spare left over money. Keeping it in the bank only makes the bank rich. Also don't waste your money rather save it and build it up in an investment and watch that compounding interest moon baby !!
it may be better to invest the money you have than to just keep it in the bank. if you are a businessman, you will not be quiet until you earn very much and in accordance with the purpose, and may be very risky to invest bitcoin that you have in the casino, but if it was me, maybe I'll use it for trading, as I think it is a good way to generate a lot of bitcoin
Saving your money in bank is only for your future and for possible expenses but never invest your money in the bank because that will never be profitable. Just invest your money in bitcoin if you want to have a great return for your money.

Investing in bitcoin takes years to be profitable, but if some investors in bitcoin will deposit their saving and wait for a long time without spending, it might be worth it for them.
It can't be predict, sometimes price may spike 50% higher. So holding bitcoin can give you profit for a month or a year. All is depends on how the market goes and how the whales act on it.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: July 28, 2016, 08:39:07 AM
It sounds simple, but it is difficult to perform. The volatility is really unusual.
But the history of bitcoin has shown that, in general, if you hold you win. Cool
Well that sums up all things pretty well, since the history of bitcoin told us that wether there's a big dump on a coin it will still recover and make a new-step on it's way. So whatever the price will be wether down by 10% of it's current price, it will still increase as time goes by.

bitcoin movement now tends to improve. there has been a modest increase significantly.

bitcoin looks more stable and safer to use. some agencies have stated that bitcoin

used as medium of financial payments in place.
Bitcoin is really progressing so fast and if this continue we should expect a mass demand on it. I do also hope that other big markets will now adopt bitcoin so that it will be expose in public and building it's name.
39  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 28, 2016, 05:20:53 AM
For me if i have a child I will allow my child to earn money from their early age of their life so they can know how to work for money and they not always asking money from us this will help them on how they use their money in their own way i will teach them on how bitcoins work and how to earn bitcoins  Cool
It will still be their decision and freedom if they want what they are doing, if you're just forcefully told them to do it then it's not good because you're controlling them. So better ask them first if it was okay for them before letting them do the work.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 28, 2016, 04:14:16 AM
For me Gold is much better for long term investment because value of bitcoin not goes down while in bitcoin you do not have assurance if the price will goes higher than you invest due to fluctuation of the price.
But if you not afford to invest in gold it is good to invest in bitcoin.
You are right and you are playing the right way of investment but still not good to focus on new investments alone as there are other opportunities that could give you more profit even with little investment and that is none other than bitcoins.

We should invest some of our savings to the future.
I agree that we need to have more saving than our investments,
And for me i choose to invest in bitcoin because it is much affordable than gold.
Bitcoin has been a better investment choice than gold for the most of the last 7 years. No one could argue that decades from now gold would still be a very valuable asset. On the other hand, the future of bitcoin is way more uncertain. It could end up being 10 or 100 times more valuable than it is now, but it could also be made obsolete by newer and technologically superior cryptocurrencies.

Well put. With gold, you can have that feel of ownership and the price goes up and is tested by time already. With bitcoin, the future is uncertain but we see a lot of potentials to it at present time. The best approach here is to invest in 2 investment vehicles - bitcoin and gold.

After all, life is full of uncertainties and the only certain is death.
Wether what you choose on the two it will still be a good decision since these two has different advantages. For gold, you're certain that you will get profit because the value of it will give an assurance to go higher. Bitcoin can also give you a profit but unlike in gold this is way faster to have because of bitcoin's volatility.
