321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: July 07, 2016, 02:15:33 PM
For me I guess, you should let the person know first how you earn a bitcoin by showing some output just like building an interest on BTC, when a person build his interest with BTC that's the good start and learning is much more easier.
The really best way is to show them a good result that you had experience since that's the most influential thing you can do to make them believe. You know that quote to see is to believe. That would be the best way to apply it.
322  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: July 07, 2016, 02:14:22 PM
Well I don't have a girlfriend but I think this is how you tell everybody about bitcoin. The first step is to tell them that bitcoin is an online currency and explain it's functionality. The second and last step is to tell them how to get some free bitcoin or buy bitcoin and create a wallet. Well if they're not interested that won't do any persuasion wouldn't help.
I agree that the right term to be use is everybody. Wether it's your girlfriend, family, relative or even friends. It should all be the same towards these person, same way of the things that you know they will learn.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world Economy Collapse this year? on: July 07, 2016, 01:58:28 PM
Lol this is s realy strange question why would you think that the economy will collapse this year we already raeched that a couple years ago now it is going great.
It depends on the country you are thinking.
Many people already predicted crisis in eu countries, and america.
Some of this aren't true of course but we can really get crisis in some eu countries cause of UK leaving.
Everything can happen.
That's right. And the inflation on EU is really going higher than what they expect, it makes their economy into dangerous and high chance to collapse.
324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 07, 2016, 01:23:45 PM
It looks closer only when it comes to a number, but in reality things are not simple as we  think, and now it will take a long time to achieve the price of $800.

Right. Just because a value is near at this value e.g let's say $770 is the current price then expected is $800, we can't say it can be easily achieved. Pumps are important thing when dealing for a target price and someone or something must start it. No way it can just boost in a normal accumulations. That's why whales are playing big role when moving the price.
If we're talking in a time range of halving event only then it will not going to happen but if we are talking about this whole year, there's really a possibility that we can easily reach it.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 07, 2016, 01:22:00 PM
I think the usage of paper money was decreasing in the future, many people now are using credit cards, debit cards etc., using electronics currency, and now we facing to the world of bitcoin as an  e- currency , you can buy a things using bitcoin and may be in the near future you can buy anything using bitcoin only.Of course, rarely do any of us walk into Starbucks with a $5 bill anymore. We walk in with a credit card, or a Starbucks gift card, or with an Apple Pay app on our iPhone. And that’s another way money has changed.

Decreasing is the right word but not totally erased. There are many things that cannot be done by electronics. What if everything is down, an electricity outage then what are we going to do to buy our stuff or our needs. That is why it is still needed.

Yeah the usage of bitcoin will increase in future but it doesn't indicates that paper money will simply disappear in future, paper money is easy to use anywhere to buy anything.

That is why paper money lived for many years because of it convenience to every people. If it had not worked for them maybe they will change it but it did so it will be hard to take that away.
If you're going to observe, bitcoin is easy to use to in the future because we will expect a higher technology that is being develop on that time, so if you encounter slow time to confirm your transaction then expect it in the future to be fixed.
326  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: July 07, 2016, 01:20:22 PM

I think it quite strange that cars, rockets, computers and thousands of other complex machines come from people making them. And these things wouldn't have been made if there wasn't the intelligence of people to make them.

Yet, people take instruction for everything they make, from the machinery in nature.

But some people can't seem to fathom that the far grater machinery of nature must have been made, as well.

How strange.

What machinery in nature instructed someone to build a car BADecker? What machinery in nature instructed someone to build a computer and a rocket? Please explain.

How far back do you want to go? Did people invent fire because they didn't have anything better to do that day? Or did they see lightning strike a tree and the wood burn afterward? Or was it a volcanic lava stream that started fires?

It takes fire to melt iron and glass. You need to look through a lot of history of where things came from, who invented them, and why, to get the answers to your questions. It was a long process to go from fire to computers and rockets, but it all comes from nature and natural operations of nature's machinery.

Cool
Isn't human seeing a lighting striking a tree is by a pure chance? That doesn't meant for anything, they just walked by  and see strange event and tried to do it and that's how human invents fire.

I think you guys need to rephrase what you are trying to say. Man did not create fire just like man did not create mathematics. They were both discovered.
You're right. But isn't it similar? If you used to discover mathematics or fire then it means you created it? Like for example I use to discover a vaccine that can cure cancer then I created it.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halvening on: July 07, 2016, 01:16:45 PM
how can the poor people turn into rich because of using of bitcoin if they don't have a budget to invest on bitcoin maybe they can earn it but it is not so big  Grin Grin btw sorry i forgot you are just dreaming about the world where their worlwide currency is bitcoin  Grin Grin
IF you just a middle class person and get into bitcoin on it's early age then there's  a chance that you'll easily get rich in bitcoin if you use to hold it until this year.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: July 07, 2016, 12:45:27 PM
They will most likely lock this thread just like Gamebet did just now  Roll Eyes
might be possible since dev is not giving any update and there's no hope for the future development i think we can still use this since there's still members here willing to buy those remaining Mrai from our wallet.

the last news i heard is the dev nodes are shut down and the block explorer too so most likely in few days there will be now way to transfer your MRAIs check the RAIBLOCKS ANN thread for more details

Yes All the nodes are shut down for MRai. Only 4 nodes are left. And when these 4 nodes will be shutdown then transfer of MRai will not be possible between wallets. So those who are holding Mrai still will be of zero Value and bad news we cannot transfer them to Katelist project if there is no transfer option avaiable.
This really isn't a good news for mrai holders. Is there any solution to avoid this node from shutting down?
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: July 07, 2016, 11:04:15 AM
i will buy a super computer which can make my work 1000x faster Cheesy

You are too wasteful and have no greater desire than maybe you can get. Now you can be happy to get a super computer. But in the future you will become a super computer a useless stuff, for electronic goods always get the latest innovation to help meet the new activities. Unlike the bitcoin, the future will be more profitable bitcoin
What's wrong with having a certain? Aside, supercomputer is so beneficial to you because you can do heavy works that normal control can't handle.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: July 06, 2016, 03:34:42 PM
The thing is some people invested into bitcoin because the huge price achieved for something very new, the 1000 dollars bringed huge investment into bitcoin. The fluctuations around bitcoin were the main reason people close their positions or took their savings and camed to bitcoin.

Yes, the volatility attracted some people.
If price becomes stable, it will attract a different set of people.
That is true for any investment. The VCs are the first to invest and the pension funds are the last.  Smiley
That's right. Newbies only like the coin because of it's volatility. People that really want a change on our economic system will bitcoin as a future for our market.
331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: July 06, 2016, 03:33:10 PM
I am an atheist simply because i have no belief in a god or gods.  I don't beleive but choose not to accept,  i simply don't Beleive in fairy tales.  In this day and age religion is the last of the accepted mental illnesses.
Yeah, and I think people who believe in a god is just being indoctrinated when they are young. Young child is so gullible so anything you tell will mostly make them believe without doubts.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: July 06, 2016, 03:31:01 PM
No if the Bitcoin price was stable forever then of course it would not be as popular as it is at the moment because most people use it as an investment.
With the price being stable then you cannot use it as an investment anymore.
What? It should be the other way around. If bitcoin will be stable you will mostly see people getting interested into it and more merchant might accept it as a way of payment. Bitcoin is not just a coin for investment, bitcoin should be use as what it should be a coin that is circulating.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 06, 2016, 03:29:16 PM
I think there is two reason are there to addict to this gambling. One is Money, Yes if you lost your money in gambling or if you are making money in gambling, people will addict automatically. Another one is Games in gambling some people will addict to some particular games; they will not get sleep if they do not play that game means so like this also people are an addict to Gambling.
I believe there is only one main reason, it is only money because people will not interest in gambling if there is no money involve and since we are just human who are greedy therefore we are doing gambling to earn more money.

Yup! you are right if it is not for money then people would not have an interest in risking their money on gambling well and the habit of a person is always do what they think they can get an instant money by just playing a game but they are not aware that they would end up losing so much in gambling because of greed and emotion when playing.
Ofcourse! That's why I don't believe those people that says they only do gambling just for fun. I'm not believing those people because the time you used gambling, you already have the desire to make a profit.
No there are few people they can play it for fun. I do play gambling for fun, yes when I am get bored from my daily work or any other work pressure to come out that I will play some games. Usually, average person will spend some bucks for their entertainment it may be watching a movie in the theatre or any other habit like smoking or drinking. So I use that money here that's it.

And there are other people that denies the truth why they play gambling even if your the richest person on the planet and you say that you are just playing because you are having fun in gambling I think not, there are other things that does not involve money to play that is fun, the fact that gambling gives an amount when you bet I think people will not hesitate to play gambling because they see a large amount in it and they are playing no worries cause of the big sum in there pocket and no worries to waste all of it.
I agree. Gambling is not meant for fun it is meant for making a profit. So if you just said that you gambling because you do it for pure fun then you are definitely lying.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 06, 2016, 03:27:04 PM
You need to know your limits. Don't gamble with money or bitcoins that you need. Put a stop loss level if you dont have a control on yourself

Indeed when you know your limits you can gamble on a safe way and than gambling is also not bad at all in my eyes.
Gambling is only wrong when you are doing it on a wrong way and this means that you are addicted to it mostly.
In my opinion gambling is wrong when it mess your life .

I mean most gambler get addicted and do everything to bet again and again even they have reached the limit of their bankroll. I will not suggest anybody to gamble if they have not a good attitude to stop when they hit the big loss.

It will really gonna mess up your life if you don't control your attitude towards it well gambling is possibly wrong if gambling mess your life if people would think that way but in my opinion gambling is really wrong it is prohibited in some other countries.
I don't think gambling is that bad if you play it safely. I don't know if its a luck but I have never lost that bigger amount in gambling. But yes its true you have to know your limit while gambling.
Gambling is not wrong. Gambling will never be a wrong game if you choose it in the first place. No one force you to gamble, it is your choice to gamble. So if you lose you're the one who to blame and at fault.
335  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: July 06, 2016, 03:24:58 PM
I am gonna hold it for a long term, at my opinion price should increase much more later and also i don't really need money right now. So i will just wait for something big.
i would definitely hold that too, in my opinion bitcoin is the best investment option possible at the moment, i hope it will give me a lot of decent profit especially after the halving event
Yes, Investment is the prime thing that I wish to do with Every single BTC that I'll earn in my life. Because life need excitement
with optimism cause if we gain profit through it than it would be ours for sure. And if we lose(let's hope never to happent
that) than we'll find a better place next time invest(and that's for sure).
Investment is great but most of investment sites you see online is more likely a ponzi scheme and a chance to scam people. So if you want to invest better do it in real life and directly negotiate with a person that owns a business.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: July 06, 2016, 03:21:35 PM
It seems, all dev RaiBlocks nodes are offline. And only 4 peers are alive.

If your wallet are disconnected, replace in config.json
Code:
        "preconfigured_peers": [
            "rai.raiblocks.net"
        ],
with
Code:
        "preconfigured_peers": [
            "rai.raiblocks.net",
            "138.201.94.249",
            "68.117.169.83",
            "75.143.140.215",
            "185.142.236.2"
        ],
and restart wallet.
Seems fork nodes.
Why? All official nodes are down. Web explorer doesn't working. Without them Rai network is no more.

What can you expect the project is dead so they cut off the nodes it's only a matter of time before everything become useless, the wallet and the coin so we cannot use our mrai to the other ico new mrai ..
So it means we cannot exchange Railblocks to the new coin that Kaselit is developing?  Undecided

I am hoping that it will not be the case we need our mrai transferred when that Ico opened i have more than 3000 mrai in my wallet this could be a good investment if we can only transfer it ..
Seeing the problem that it will only needs time for the wallet to be unusable. I think this is not the news we should be expecting, Im also holding big amount of mrai (10,000). So I just want a clarification on what is happening.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: July 06, 2016, 03:19:25 PM
Being lucky for a moment always feels a bit weird and it is hard to explain that feeling but somehow it just feels like you are a but special at that moment.
You feel like you can handle anything at that moment and that nobody can stop you from reaching your success.
There's no special for being straight lucky but it do feel nervous if you find yourself winning a dice consecutively because anything that comes with good luck will give a certain bad luck in return. So if you think you already get a good profit by getting a good straight win results then you should know your limitations when to stop.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: July 06, 2016, 03:17:36 PM
What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?

Probably after 5 years, Bitcoin confirmation is instant,  Cheesy).  Merchant adoption and overcome bad press, Bitcoin will overcome this bad press because of government participation and merchant will likely confident enough to adopt bitcoin.  More mass adoption since there is more merchant and store to use Bitcoin.

My prediction is that the bitcoin will first get a lot bigger this year also the halving that will come this year will let the price increase to a high amount, after this it will go to a lower amount but stable.
After the halving has been done it will be stable, I think after that it will be boring year till there will come another halving or a big company will step in and the bitcoin will got to a really high amount.

There is a big chance that price do really increase than the current value we have. But if you are saying greater than we should expect like really big, that's not possible and for that to achieve we will be having more time and exposure.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 06, 2016, 03:15:50 PM
well yeah im also really sad when i lose my bitcoins
Everybody feels sad if they lose coins so there's no surprise on what you say at all. Regret comes when we are so confident that we can easily recover our lose coins without even thinking of the risk.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 06, 2016, 03:14:49 PM
For that you will have to switch to another job and have to try to remain yourself busiy in other works, so you will be away from gambling.

Drowning yourself to work might back fire to you. If you get too stressed out due to work then you will seek out something to relieve your stress. And the first thing you will turn into is gambling because that is your addiction. So, instead of getting out of it, it actually push you into gambling more. You should find activities that is fun and entertaining as gambling but not that destructive.
If you are having fun and love your work then there's no reason to be stressed out. Just remember that you choose a certain work because you love what you are doing and not because you just need it. Be confident on the work you are doing.
