901  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 01, 2016, 05:45:32 PM
I think it is better to invest money then saving it. That is only because if you are investing it you are also saving it because you cant spent it anymore. And if you invest good you will get more out of it in the end.

But just a tip for the coming halving, it is better to save somehow today just for this season it will only take almost 1 month for the halving to come.
And if you have save a lot of btc for you will earn a big profit after it's price increase.
And after earning , you can now start investing.
it is somehow better if you half it, like 50% for investment and 50% for saving. but just a safety measure for investing because its more risky than saving

Wow...  I've come to check this coin to see if the price have improved overtime after I exited but it seems it went to shit.  When did the devs turned off the faucet?  Any ETA on the network rollback fix?

Thats the reason price is going down it's because no circulation around the coin. Faucet is still off and no other way to move it, if this goes still for a month this will probably a deadcoin.

904  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: June 01, 2016, 05:05:03 PM
Let's cut the crap. Most of us are just waiting for Bitcoin to finally hit $100 to buy a huge quantity. Am I right or talking out my ass?

Many people with deep pockets would love to see $100/BTC, but the smart move is to already own a good number, since the bear market could be over..
People who got much money to spend would love the price to be a hundred Dollars per Bitcoin. But it would also be good for the people that do not have that much money to spend in Bitcoin.
If you are going to wait for $100 then you are going to wait forever because I am sure that it will not happen again. Even with the halving coming it would not be enough to get the price to $100.

it is clearly impossible for us to see the price around $100. even $400 I think this will be waiting a long time, because of the upward trend continues to rise
I think the title should not be a waiting it should be "If we're given a chance to buy at 100bucks", most people will surely buy it.
905  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 31, 2016, 11:46:48 PM
Price does not matter for newbies, but for traders and sellers is so important cause they are working with this everytime and theirs income depends on bitcoin price.

Price matters even to newbies and it matters to each and every user of bitcoin, if bitcoin would not be holding any value I bet no one would be wasting their time here.

Thats right, other people say that it is not the only price that keep the bitcoin and regulate and alive but to tell you frankly. 90% of bitcoin community came here because of the value bitcoin had while 10% is because of the technical reason. Just to add also, many btc users doesn't know what's really the technicality of bitcoin so yeah,  price matters. for newbie even for pioneers.

Dont trade until everything is fixed. Im sure there are still issues about the chain, just noticed that devs dont give update yet.

Why do you guys keep parroting this nonsense I have no idea what Colin is doing but the wallet works fine and so do transactions.
TRANSACTIONS WORK

The current issue railblock's facing is the rollback problem, he want to avoid and somehow restore the coins user lost.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2016, 09:59:25 PM
I think the halving is good for bitcoin. As you can see now, the price of bitcoin is so high and i think it's because halving. So yeah, halving is good for bitcoin from my perspective.

As of now everything is going smoothly and we hope it continues till the halving and even after the halving, as no one wants to see the major drop in price of bitcoin.
We cant assure that though, since many people here think of selling after halving event so it will surely make bitcoin value drop.

there will be a drop after the block halving for two reasons. 1 - people cash out coins that they bought somewhere around the $400 price level and lower. 2 - people will start selling because they are disappointed as the block halving didn't turn out to be what they expected from it.

Followed by a sharp rise, we all know what happens when supply is cut in half right.

OR maybe not, it will just make the quantity value of bitcoin higher not the other way around. I think miner is somehow prepared already with this.

I believe devs dont care about faucet and they have no plan to open it again.. good luck for holders. .just hope that they releasing it again back in trading sites.. also faucet will get normal back.. just like before..
But you said you dont believe dev will release faucet, then on your last statement you said faucet get back to normal. Are you trying to confuse us? Or just want to leave a nonsensical post?

917  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 31, 2016, 08:34:34 AM
If I had an oportunity to be paid in Bitcoin, even two time less, I would take it on the go !

Well, that's too risky because even two time less is kinda low when it comes full day time job. I suggest to earn that you earn a decent profit first in bitcoin before planning to going full time into it.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 27, 2016, 06:26:42 PM
No I honestly do not think the price for the people that are knowing the bitcoin well matter but for newbies it will.
In fact most newbie's are only looking at the price to be honest.

Isn't it the reason why newbies tend to like bitcoin, it's because of the price. of course, thats how it do. Even I who know bitcoin, will be attracted if I see the value of it is quite reasonable.
Honestly for newbies not only relaying on the price and i think they looking for the best source if where can get bitcoin fast..
I am starting as a newbie before and i am not looking for the value i am looking for new source wheres the best source of bitcoin that you can get for a service..

Yes, but why you want to have bitcoin? it's because you want to profit, but why? its because of the price.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 27, 2016, 06:17:14 PM
If you want to earn money later in the future than it would be much better that you are making an investment in Bitcoin and that is because than you can sell it maybe in the future with profit.
But it is still hard to know what the value will be so saving money will be safe for yourself in the future.

Saving will never allow you to grow your money, no doubt it will be helpful at the time of emergency but investment can give best returns if you invest in right product.
maybe it's true, but if halving make bitcoin prices rose to the height, I think it will make us a profit. actually it depends on yourself, but between saving and investment, the more risky is investing
Risk is a part of everything. Even trusting bitcoin is a risk because it can fail someday. But tsking that risk can sometimes makes us good profit. It is the same with investment. The trick is too make a good choice. Choose an investment that is not likely to fail. That can make your money grow. In saving, your money is idle and not earning anything.
Hey man, all things has risk. Trading has risk, investing has risk. The only thing you can do is to lessen the risk.
Yeah your right all in online has risk.. and the only thing that i can suggest trading because less risk and high profit than the other activity..

But it has requirements, you need huge amount to be able to really profit a alot and you need to know how to trade too. Its not that easy that you enter trading and thats it, it might lose you too. Better to know arbitrage first.
920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 27, 2016, 06:13:42 PM
Full time on bitcoin is mining? or trading? I think no, i am not interested on unstable profit so better to work on daily job getting  my money for sure and also with side bitcoin earnings.
The two has different disadvantages.

For bitcoin:
-Unstable profit
-No stable work
-Competion in services

For Daily real job:
-Pressure
-Workmates that fuck you up
-Stress
-Static work, no excitement

So I guess, it's your choice what's the best thing that you can handle. Anyway, any decision you make affect your future

the static work is my problem, im so booring with my daily activity, it's make me interesting to go full time on bitcoin, where i can get more fun with it.
seems like we have a same case scenario but for me the fuck up overloaded work with unfair salary too is why I am plannng to go full time with bitcoin, this things make me stress.

If you are not satisfied with your full time job then you can give it a try to get full time on bitcoin but then you need to earn descent amount of bitcoins on regular basis.

Its true that I don’t like my job, though it actually has quite some good pay. If it’s possible to earn a decent amount of bitcoin each month, then I’ll go part time with another job and invest in bitcoins to keep earning more.

if I have a job I do not like, maybe I'll leave it, although the pay is better.
because I prefer to work with comfort and what I liked, because it will make us always passion to work
Yes man, hail to you. You got it right! That's what I'm talking about but the situation make it worst. Our country has full of unemployed gradute students and the demand of work is really high but the available work is so low. That's why we dont have a choice too choose what we want we're just find works that we dont even know if it fit us or it will make us happy. We look for work not for passion anymore but just to satisfy our daily needs. Ugh, dont know whats happening in my coutnry(Philippines)
