I'm having trouble finding it. If somebody could lead me to the merit rules it would be appreciated. If I remember correctly it said asking for merit was fine as long as it wasn't done excessively. (paraphrasing but I thought that was the just of it.) If people think its in bad taste ill happily remove that part, don't mean any offense by it.

There is no need to do this and this behaviour is usually seen as 'merit begging' which is frowned upon by the community and may lead to you receiving negative feedback. Keep making quality, constructive posts and you will surely be rewarded over time.

Well I've still not heard about mine yet ... but it's not testing on the live pool, it's wasting mining on a test pool. I'm not gonna switch in code changes for this guff before proper testing. How long on a test pool, if its just a few days I don't mind. If you need it for a month that's another story. Heh - no it's not days even  But it's also a case of if I am actually getting one, I'd prefer to test it myself - we'll see what happens. I think I had read somewhere (telegram maybe?) a post stating that they were trying to ship out units to people that paid first, instead of demo units for reviews. It was more fair for paying people to get first according to them. Personally I see it both ways. I want reviews, but I want my units also. |

Why did you have to create a new thread for one announcement?  It doesn't make any sense. Because I have seen several threads with people complaining about shipping times. @Kano or anybody else. Doesnt 5ND mean that the graph's red area should always be moving on the right? It seems like with the PH/s always changing the 5ND is changing and it should be left to right instead of set in the middle of the screen? According to this graph, my temporary boost wouldnt even apply to this block?  |

Anybody know if batch 2 has shipped, I haven't seen or read anything about it. I am april batch 4, but I don't see getting them this month if they haven't even shipped batch 2 yet.
I've received my order #8xx 2 weeks ago, I have not received what they have labelled as "April 2018 delivery" order #17xx, and that status hasn't changed on their website. I do have additional orders for batch 2,3,4 for April as well. My order is 4xxx and is april delivery also supposedly. |

It does matter though. Supply and demand, if most sellers aren't going to sell at a loss unless they desperately need money, or they think something is going obsolete. The ones going for 1600-1800 are all in hand, which means they paid 1300$(?) for batch one products. If sellers ask for higher prices, then buyers either pay higher prices, or wait for sellers to come down. The price you paid definitely has an influence on the market.
....except when the manufacturer you bought them from and that manufacturer's largest competitor keep selling the uniyts and driving the price down. ASIC's are not like other markets. ASIC's are a snake eating it's own tail. Sorry, the price you paid for a legacy technology ASIC means "nothing". I hope you launch them before Bitmain unloads both Barrels on Halong. Halong is squarely in their sites. Halong will be crushed. I promise you that. Halong hasnt kept selling units, they havent sold anything in over a month. |
