You dont need to evaluate the bitcoin valuation when the US dollar collapses because it doesnt matter at all. Bitcoin dont get hampered just because the USD is collapsing itself. Remember that US dollar is just representative unit for the bitcoin which is being used to know whats the value in simple language. Now how do you know how much worth an ounce of gold is ? By saying it is X dollar per ounce, isn't it? What happens when the dollar crushes? It just mean nothing because golds demand and supply defines its prices and thus it doesn't matter whats the USD behaviour is. Same applies for the bitcoin too.

I still doubt that there are any companies who are having approach for bitcoin and they are willing to go against the crypto regulation. Currently most of the developed countries are banning the crypto because they think it may hamper the economic drive of the country. While on the other hand developing countries are not able to handle the crypto request at all. I think companies will come into existence which are based on blockchain but they will be just another companies based on the blockchain and nothing else. They wont help crypto grow but they will grow themselves using the new technology. No lies, but this is the scenario for now.

If were to answer this question in the current bear situation then surely both the options are perfect because all of the currencies are dipping with the same current rate. I mean all of them are dipping with 40-50% below their ATH prices and thus can give us bets possible profits wherever and any kind of money you invest into it. The crypto currencies are really liquid investment and whether it is BTC or ETH it doesnt matter now a days because they have unlike same potential because its just the value or a number which will be growing someday and will be profiting the same as one another would do. I guess you should do both, split them and see the result by yourself.

All these days and I have not seen any good service which accepts the bitcoin or other cryptos as payment and I like it. This is because I want to use crypto currencies over different products and services which I use on daily basis. If I hit the coffee shop then I read Mastercard accepted here but I have not seen until the day any label saying that Bitcoin Accepted Here. Thats the most demotivating thing I have with me and thats why I use the crypto currency for only being and selling other coins, profit myself and very much stuff related to the investments. Unfortunately, having middle ways like converting the coin to fiat and then using it is not real use of curry because its discomfortable.

Yes a very good initiative indeed. I guess its completely true fact that these days people are more or less focused on ranking themselves. When the merit system came in effect then they got hit more and started crying that how they can get merits and how they can rank up, its very tough and hard task etc. But that should not have been he attitude of people around here. What they should think about is, gaining the knowledge of investing your money in step by step manner over the forum ways and other ways. Spending time can be great deal for our future and hence focus on whats new and how can you use it really rather than technical aspects like ranks etc.  |

That is a very descriptive approach towards the Trading in bear market like the current one. I guess its true that we should not be fearsome of this situation and must stay and trade by applying different smart strategies to make out way through it. Its not big deal when we are in bear if we keep thoughts like these one's and learn from the past experiences. It takes time to evaluate situation so its better to have patience and see what happened in the past to create better future. Over the forum, there are many topics created which talk about FUD's, FOMO type of investment whenever the market is dropping and thus everyone start to create panic situation due to this bear market. May be this guide can be good approach for learning what can be done in the bear trend.Will help for most of the newbies truly and weak handed investors.  |

Crypto currency hasn't changed fundamentally these days, it has always been dependent on it no matter what analysts says about it. The crypto that we see today is very much volatile and this volatility is being gained from different news updates, different summits over the bitcoin, challenges accepted from different altcoin projects, and most recently SEC's matter and many things like that. These are some of the core and not to mention fundamental one's are taking the driver sit to change this market in crazy ways.

First of all you can look after some planning. For example, note down how much time you can spend and depending upon that you can choose the right path. If you gonna be full time then spend your time on bounties and campaigns if not then invest and trade or gamble with risks considered. |

Lets take the following example. You buy BTC at 6k and it goes up to 8K. Do you sell 100% of it or do you sell 75% and keep 25% in BTC.
What are your opinions / tactics?
I will actually take the opportunity to sell everything that I have got so that I can get all those 100% profits. I will take this so that I can again share my profits again with different portfolio and then try to gain more and more coins in it. These could be great deal because I can have more such chances to earn more profits. This is perfect reinvestment of my profits that I gotten in first place. So this is my tactics for now to gain more. |

what is the one ALTCOIN you believe in that you will never sell? and why
If I ever wanted to sell my altcoins then why would I buy them in the first place. I’m here to make money by investing my time and efforts. I have held many coins before but I don’t think that I have hold any one of them forever because I’m selling them whenever I’m getting the profits from it. You should be doing the same otherwise you will end up having huge set backs. Keep the investment liquid all the time. |

the important keyword here is "a little". and it is sad but unfortunately it seems like nothing can secure these exchanges and unless they give us some sort of assurance like having assets legally registered to pay their customers in case of a hack or something, there will never be safety in any of them. Yes love the concept and this should be done promptly so that people can actually trust the legality of exchanges. I mean having registered legally approved exchanger should actually mean something and without that there is no meaning to it at all. Actually you know what, it should not be exchangers who should take the responsibility of returning our money but it should be the strict rules and regulation which must be imposed on such exchangers so that they can abide and return it to us. ;-) |

Oh yeah they suck a lot.  Whenever it comes to the news channels, financial advisors or even rich stupid then they will try to represent the bitcoin as bad ass and they will even suggest you not to invest in these kinds of currencies. They will put pressure on the investors by telling them that bitcoin might dump itself or XYZ currency might get dumped soon because of ABC reasons and stuff like that. The reality is completely different and there speculations are just for showing off the news and nothing else. I guess yes, they have made the crypto very much manipulative that anyone else. |

Its always better to stay away from such people. In the crypto space I have learnt one important thing and that tells me if someone is contacting you without your consent or without your inquiry about that product and services then that is the number 1 scam mate. There is no way one can believe on such people who are making up things so easy for you. A broker in the crypto would be costly affair and scam call too. So watch out yourself from such contacts and take baby steps to learn whats going on. I would say no to you as straight decision.

When do you withdraw funds? Do you sell into fiat or USDT? Im thinking something like this: After a 50% increase sell 20% into USDT, repeat. Reinvest in dips. When 100% increased sell 20% into fiat
Making the USDT choice is not bad when you have gotten the profits and wanna put them securely without getting fire of volatility. However I would suggest that you just re-invest your profits again into the coins which you think are good investment and are currently down in the price. You should always take such shots and then make more profits out of it. That is how I am taking more profits here and not by holding by my profits. I will hold my profits whenever I have sufficient of them. Now the definition of the sufficient depends on many things and personal instincts. |

I don't understand the point of this thread, are you saying people are panicking because they just don't get it or are you saying it's all part of the math and it should rise.
I believe he is saying that current market is going down and people are panicking for that reason. I mean this is just the same thing as we would always see when the market is going down and unreasonable people that is weak handed one's will start panic irony and will always get more overwhelmed with the current situation. I guess this is what we are speaking here and this thread particularly. I think this time people might have gotten crazy about the current situation because everyone was so relaxed after seeing the market recovering itself so nicely and suddenly the mega dump occurred. |
