441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin banned in social media? on: April 09, 2018, 06:10:45 PM
is that real or fake news?...
i am confused of what people are disccussing about banning all cryptos and altcoins in social media, how should we know that its real or not...
im scared, because like me this is the way that i participate in bounty campaign, how can i participate those bounties if theres no twitter and facebook update for cryptos..

If you till can participate in the bounty programs who are managed by fairly sensible managers then I am pretty sure the news is not yet fake. Why? Because obviously the ICO's still can promote their content over the social platforms and your manager still can run the bounties that include the social media posting and promoting.

Also, if you must have noticed then you will come to know that you still can visualise the advertisement related to the crypto currencies all over the Facebook, twitter, and off course google ads can be seen on every crypto related websites. So I dont think there is anything official that has been done about it yet.

451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to get rid of cartels on: April 01, 2018, 01:47:39 PM
I'm kind of new to crypto, but i have a question.

I know that mining cartels are a huge problem, so much so that regular people can't mine anymore.

I was wondering why can't they introduce some kind of limit of how much work one node can do per hour? Wouldn't that massively aid the problem?

I'm no programmer, so I'd really appreciate hearing thoughts about what solutions people are coming up with to solve this problem. Is it unsolvable??

If regular people cant mine anymore then thats not the problem of the cartels neither pools! Its theirs! Why would the other two will care anyway if their work is being done systematically.

Do you think that limiting the work per hour will really aid the problem that you are describing? Have you considered the consequence of this rule? It will limit the way we will earn the blocks and thus our ROI's will also get hampered badly.

As mentioned by @mocacinno some of the people might find blocks with single miner while some of them might not be lucky enough to do it with 100's! Considering that luck facto and after implementing your rule of "limited-work" per hour you will slow down the process even further and might just hit the block after few years or so. This will kill the whole process. Also, it could relay a stress call over the small cartels and miners when the transaction output will be higher. Then increased fees will be the next thing to cool down the whole process and much more consequences like that may happen in the future!
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does EU Privacy Law mean the end of blockchain on: April 01, 2018, 04:43:25 AM
In my opinion it is not looking good for blockchain with this new EU law:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-new-eu-privacy-laws-will-impact-blockchain-expert-take

That's just related to the EU region and EU is not the whole world in first place. It doesn't matter if these countries impose any kind of laws on the blockchain use because they will be limited to their country only and won't cords the borders.

The reason ?
Bitcoin/crypto's are decentralised and are based on decentralised blockchain thus giving it freedom from the regulations. Blockchain runs over the public server and no single government can control it. They can just avoid it but can't shut it at all. So no to worry about such news.
453  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: April 01, 2018, 02:58:38 AM
At the moment I prefer Bitcoin, but I am looking for an alternative. Can anyone suggest me some alternative cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin ?!
P.S: I'm so sorry if I post this in the wrong board but I don't know what is right board for this question. If I post this in the wrong board, please move it to the right one, thank you.

As you can see throughout the thread it seems we have bitcoin as the winner and why it wouldn't be looking after its value, and the way it is far secure investment for us. However as per your demand I would say there is no other currency which is as safe as bitcoin but you can look forward to invest into ETH, XEM, SCL, JNT and with few percentage left you can try out your luck on Tron and XVG. The last two are risky one but could be hype in the time to come. Usually this list is heat people prefer if they want to make an alternate investment and also they keep it versatile so that we can end up in having a coin which is somewhat worth jackpot hit.

455  Economy / Economics / Re: Japanese IT Giant Fujitsu Launches Blockchain Center in Europe on: March 31, 2018, 12:10:46 PM
Maybe a month ago, kodak announced it would create a blockchain based payment system for photographers. As a result kodak's stock price increased as much as 40% over the short term. Many other corporate entities have done the same. They've announced "blockchain" or "crypto" related projects and benefited from their stock price increasing dramatically.

The kneejerk reaction would likely be to assume fujitsu is hopping on the same bandwagon, announcing a blockchain related project they have little or no intent on following through on to increase the value of their stock.

BUT to be fair fujitsu establishing a physical location does represent much more of a commitment to blockchain technology than any of the other vaporware announcements made by previous companies. The location in brussels belgium could also be indicative of fujitsu doing their homework and having good knowledge of crypto currencies if indeed belgium is similar to hungary in that they have taken measures to reduce the influence of central banks in their respective country, which could reduce the likelihood of anti crypto legislation being passed there.

This could represent a legitimate effort to utilize and develop blockchain technology unlike the vast majority of blockchain announcements we've seen which are likely little more than efforts at stock price manipulation aimed at boosting equities value over the short term.

You mean to say that these companies are just using the name of blockchain technology or crypto currencies to spike their stocks int he real world? I mean it does look like the same in many article because there has been the similar announcement in the past but none of them seem to have any real progress in the stated theories. So sometimes it feels really shady. Also notice one more thing that whenever there is positive thing happening in the world then crypto currencies actually get spiked and in the cases that we are discussing here, nothing like that happened. So does that mean its just coming out fo the thin air and there are no real developments going on?
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS to 100$ on: March 31, 2018, 11:37:14 AM
Do you think EOS can reach 100$ in December of this year ?

Its the same thing asking like whether the bitcoin will reach from 7k to 70k, ether 400 to 40000 USD!!  Cheesy
Every coin will spike at its pace of development and there is no way we can really predict when they will spike to specific rate that you have mentioned here. Now I stated the discussion with bitcoin and ether because many times rest of the altcoins will have their dependency on these two coins. If they are really down in the market then you will never see any reasonable growth in other coins. For us to see some reasonable growth in the EOS we must need to see its real application up and running. I know this coin is far better in scalability than the ETH but there are many more factors which it needs to overcome before it can achieve that much high rates.
457  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is telegram "cloud mining bot" Scam?? on: March 31, 2018, 07:32:53 AM
First time hearing this type of scheme and It' sketchy as it sounds, most likely a scam like 99.9%

But anyway, Can you provide some screenshots or link the bot here, I'd like to list some +/- but there's no enough info.

I am also ambiguous about this question and have no expiation about it. The first thing is, telegram will never implement any API like that which other than the bot itself. It has to be checked twice before they could even publish it. I mean mining with browser concept is their but telegram is application with its own boundaries in place. I mean its own API might just act as sandbox for such bots from accessing the phones processor.  Cheesy These are my thoughts about the bots if considered deeply. Also, app will need to have the permission to access the processor anyway which we can set while installing the app. It seems impossible to do so.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex trading or crypto trading and stock exchange? on: March 31, 2018, 06:40:17 AM
I been a trader in crypto since 2016 and i feel more comfortable in cryto trading im not saying that i am a pro trader already but im just know some basic in trading. I never been try to trade in forex and stock exchange and i was looking at this two trading platfrom to all pro traders here which is good and more profitable in this 3 platform
1. Forex trading
2. Crypto trading
3. Stock exchange trading

Thank you and i want to know if where is the good and most profitable and stable at this 3 platform a stable income.

Frankly speaking I never understood the concept of Forex and Stock exchanges and neither I made any bucks from it. I used many bots over there to and until the time I came to know they were all fake ones I had lost much of the money and got exhausted. It gave me shit feeling that I am a customer of Wolf of Wall Street movie. Lolz.

However in the crypto you get lead to choose the coins that you want and you know many more things about it before you can invest money on it. I am also not pro and have only sufficient knowledge to gain little profits at sometimes. But its good platform for its simplicity, freedom to choose and off course the transparency of which is very very lucid. So yeah one up for that one.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with BTC on: March 31, 2018, 05:54:09 AM
Can you buy a house with BTC? Yes! All you need is a buyer with coins and a seller that will accept them. The value of the transaction is as of the date of the contract, when the coins change hands.

After reading through the forum and different section I have seen people selling their houses for the bitcoin. Why not just hit the thread like that and ask those people if they are interested in giving you house for your bitcoin. I am pretty sure you guys will end up with nice deal as being like minded.

Frankly speaking, there are same number of people asking for the house and payment in terms of the bitcoin and vice versa. This clearly states that buying a house with the BTC is possible thing and with some precautionary steps people can meet other people and do the whole thing in right way.  Cheesy
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Furious on: March 31, 2018, 04:35:01 AM
The capitalization of bitcoin transactions reaches billions of dollars but governments of any country can not get revenues or income from these transactions and this makes governments in many countries complain of the existence of bitcoin because it is considered a threat to the economy of a country. Should tax apply to users who do bitcoin transactions? When are users comfortable with this situation? what is the right regulation to address these issues to help each country improve its economy?

Tax is not the thing which government should always impose on you. It is something that you should be paying at your will. I have paid my all taxes which were from the bitcoin conversion to fiat currency into my bank account. I am keeping it very simple by paying taxes, the simplicity in terms of clean cheat. Neither government can blame on me that from where the big money is coming and nor I will be in stress all the time waiting the income tax department to hit my doors. LOL.

So to help each country to improve themselves then it is the responsibility of the individual to pay the taxes whether or not their government has any rules and regulations.
