without direct education by the central and local governments to young people and the general public, I think this kind of parade is not effective enough, it's even obvious, the parade is the initiative of the private community in the area.
This is effective mate , to show slot to the community but what would be the effect is  the issue., because it can be a Positive approach so people will stop slot playing, or this will bring more curiosity to the people and enters gambling instead.
Quote
do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?
If this will continued and supported by majority then why not?
but if this is just a 1 day event then lets forget what it can bring to the country.

The parade may affect locally, but on a general scale, it won't be effective in solving the whole issue. Gambling addiction is complex, regulations are required to prevent and measure it widely. So only by judging based on a single unknown video, the effectiveness certainly can't be measured precisely.
Not sure if this will take effect to the whole world issue but yeah locally there is significant effect , though it may be differently from someone who might quit while others might get interest.
but indeed that surely the parade will effect the whole country adnd gambling may become in the news for couple of weeks.
congrats in advance to the motive and hope the positive effect will win over the turning gambling.
582  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 07, 2023, 12:11:46 PM
This thread is getting a lot of support and discussions is ongoing at least OP should give us an update on how things are going I remember you sent me a message about linking up with casinos so how is it are you successful linking up and are you getting positive response from the casinos that you asked to link up, Bitcointalk community is all out in support of your cause.
I hope you get all the support from the majority of the casinos so you can support those who require help with gambling addiction, keep us updated for any developments.
The ops was last active on the 5th of December but the last comment on this thread from the ops was on the 15th-11 which is a long time ago and for sure with the space in time,  a lot has been discussed on this thread and for such will require some answers, anyways maybe op is taking his time to put out the reply to some of the comments and at such will not want to rush things since the thread already reserved positive responses from members of the forum since its creation as the service borders around what concerned many of us here as gamblers.

Since the thread is already getting more tractions and attention, we can continue with the discussions and also try to reach out to him through PM which i believe that he will get the alert on his mail address to notify him of an incoming message from the forum, if this is truly going to be as the same way it was aimed or targeted by OP, some gamblers will truly have a means of getting helped through various offers in the way they were being challenged while gambling.
because OP sees nothing to talk about as he have already addressed all the important details while most of the recent post are already tackled and generic posts that He believes there is nothing to answer.
OP's dedication has been proven as he runs the project on his own from his own pocket so I think we cannot question His motive here.
but for the sake of arguments, just after you post this? OP replies and shows that he is active here and checking each post if needed to answer or to deny.
and one thing is very certain here? that we are all being asked if we are willing to help Him spread this project .
583  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: December 07, 2023, 09:20:28 AM
this parade at least give an idea that what is the future of most of the people who gamble or simply gamblers.
I think it will make more strong belief for non gamblers that in gambling all people will going to become like this, so he will not think about gambling in future or will stay away from it.
and other members saying that this video will spread gambling to more people but i think no, because there is just written slot, only gamblers or people who already know about slots will know that this is about gambling.

the important part of this parade is that people are going to be more aware of  what gambling can bring them , from newbies to old timers because sometimes we need to see the effect first before we start to believe and follow.
as many kindly says "To See is to Believe" so come what may or come tp see and listen to the people .
In this kind of approach, then this may not be on slot alone, but gambling in general,
correct , that is the best to explain this because Gambling is not only about slot but about the gambling itself .
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 07, 2023, 08:58:11 AM
I honestly don't know what to ask for the poll but I have a gut feeling some of you guys might be starting to think that a correction here is healthy which I agree with...  But who knows, it could go on with another leg up as BTC usually does when it has the momentum.

I guess the question in the poll asks exactly what kind of sentiment everybody is having rn after another green month.  Remember guys, there's no right or wrong answer.  Just go with your gut and choose based on how you feel.  The poll is all about the sentiment not the analysis.

a perfect growth what we are having here in Bitcoin market , just early December we already Hit 44k and the votes really amazing as everyone expect that positivity (of course not counting those 2 who has negative looks)
so I think there are more good value coming to the bitcointalk market and of course all of us will benefits.
On my contrarian argument that we might witness a correction and dump under $40. This image is being shared in social media. This is Su Zhu, who is also known to say buy when he is selling and say sell when he is buying. He also likes to use his friends as exit liquidity hehehehe.

if this is going to happen before 45k and yeah I dont think this can be true but when after 45-48k ? maybe there is a chance that correction will come that low , bellow 40k once again.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin transaction fees? on: December 07, 2023, 08:39:09 AM
I was checking mempool and saw the transaction  fee sky rocketing. I am not sure what happened suddenly as these fees are way beyond anyone's imagination. Later on, I did found out that Binance has listed Ordinals (ORDI). I want to ask the community whether the severe high transaction fee occured because of the listing?

If you felt being robbed in November mempool so what more today and yesterday?

The Mempool is so congested  and rocketing to the lowest fee of 164 sat/vB and that is terribly high , that almost 1/4-1/3 of each transactions seems to be for the fee.

Was also waiting till when the pool go lower for me to cash out and take this advantage to sell and buy while the market is bullying.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 07, 2023, 01:09:05 AM
I have seen some facial expression gamblers that I am emotionally touched about and feels they have loosed more than they can handle and feels they deserves an condolence winning. While I empathic with him his amount of lost, I am then to consoling myself that someone on here has lost more than I do.

That's a wrong approach to gambling, if a gambler is playing with money that he can afford to lose, there's no need to feel sorry for them, I don't want people consoling me about my losses, that's gambling if your approach to gambling is for entertainment purposes only and you're not looking to make money, you will feel offended if they console with your losses.
Don't show people that you are sorry for your losses, so people will not console you, whatever the outcome show them that you accept it whatever the result is.
Admit what is your faith in gambling , each time we must be proud of the outcome even if we  are continuously losing because what I do believe is this that it will save you from chasing losses because admittance is the key to not become an addict.

many gamblers tried to  hide their gambling activities and some hide that they are losing so the chance is they will look for chance to win that money back.

Losses is part of gambling and actually that is the faith of majority but yes there is also small winning so either you are in the winning side(that rarely to happen)or we are in losing side? admit it and better accept it with your heart and understanding.
587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 07, 2023, 12:46:06 AM
So, true story it is. I went to twitter the other day and saw this message from Roobet:
and yes, it was added to my balance indeed:

You never have a chance if you don't participate, guys. Try your luck once in a while. Wink
That is generosity from roobet , Have missed checking my Rakeback as well but for now I am skipping to gamble in multiple sites concentrating to my favorite to cut expenses for the holiday season.
but indeed that roobet has this attitude that giving bonuses to their loyal players like yours mate.
but considering that I  have some spare funds now , and of course time? yeah will be visiting roobet again later today.

589  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 06, 2023, 09:09:49 AM

590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy on: December 06, 2023, 08:46:43 AM
If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy
are you planning to buy? or are you hunting altcoins to invest for the coming Bull market?

If yes then better to check all the answers here instead of being in hiatus ? because this sounds like a spamming ground for altcoin shitposters.

If I had $500  for investment, my decision has always been straight forward, all the $500 would be going to Bitcoin, most especially now that we are experiencing a little bit of bull run, and one of the most interesting thing is that this is the current highest price for this year. Just today Bitcoin has experienced 4%+ increase, how much more before the end of the year? To me Bitcoin is just the best coin to make your investment now, after all there are several coin which their price is tired to that of Bitcoin, so what's the point of investment in another coin when their influencer is doing just fine.
unless you missed checking what  section is this mate , though the question is general yet we are in altcoin section that I believe needs to be answered with altcoins as well.

Ethereum is for me , solely for ETH this time of before halving.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 06, 2023, 08:39:38 AM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.
yup but that is for  those Centralized casino that implements KYC process but what about those who are not? I mean those casino that Decentralized maybe that is somewhat we must face for some reason.
Quote
I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?
this will never happen if those casino will comply and act accordingly  I mean that they will follow all the guidelines government is imposing so they will not be the next target mof each government.
we knew how terrorist is acting these days and yeah this is what was the target of these tightness , also the hackers in online that uses same thing to hide their identity .

26M tokens added to rainbot best of luck bitvesters!

Bitvest is doing great Lighlord actively posting stuff like this and has an active signature that is expected to be going to be longer than the previous campaign, the signature campaign comes at the right time, just when the mixer campaigns are not allowed to come January 1.
I'm sure the 777coin will relaunch because of the success of Bitvest relaunch.
2023 is a great year for Lightlord his other project is doing good Eloncoin, if 777coin is relaunch he'll have three projects here what a comeback for Lighlord.

Yeah , there have been a couple of years that made everyone had a burden specially in Pandemic that there are so much for all of us and yeah one of those is lightlord that said to be a covid19 survivor and face a lot also in His business venture.

But look How big when he came back , with multiple business opening , but yeah there is another one that still in status .

____________________________________________________

Bringing 26 million tokens added for the rainbot is yeah something that their regulars will enjoy and will also attract us to take part .

so siguro depende nalang sa magiging action natin to.
595  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 05, 2023, 06:11:14 AM
Well, it's like what have been discussed here about 1xbet in my country, many still trust and believe in this casino, they have a lot of customers over here, and personally, I have never come across anyone complaining about being scammed or losing money unduly on the casino.
Infant, i myself have played on this casino and have withdrawn some multiple times without issues, but then, I still honestly will bot vouch for them since they could be selectively scamming some customers on low key.

So yeah, any gambler who is not confident enough should avoid both 1xbit and 1xbet, they are indeed under the same company.
You are completely right and I agree with you, I also have played multiple times on 1xbet, their online version actually, since I don't like patronizing offline casinos or betting agents, and multiple times I've won, I've always been able to withdraw without any issue, I haven't even done a kyc verification and they(1xbet) have never also asked me to do so before I did be able to withdraw, so on my side, they seem trustable, but like what you said that, you can't vouch for them since it's possible that they might be scamming people on low key, I think it's pretty the same for me, I also have never come across anyone offline complaining about being scammed by 1xbet, but I still can not advice new players to chose 1xbet since there are several other good and well trusted casinos around to chose from.

So very well, may be my opinion would have been different if I weren't so sure that the same parent company own 1xbit and 1xbet, so yeah, if 1xbet is scam, there is every chance that 1xbet might be engaging in scam to, if not now, possibly later in the future, so they should be avoided too.
I think that 1xbet changed their strategy in somewhere 2019-20. When someone would type 1xbet in Google, their result would be that 1xbet is scam company, scam bookmaker and etc but in 2019-20 1xbet started to become very active on Russian market. They opened tons of blackjack tables in Evolution gaming and put tons of money in marketing to attract Russian players. It seems 1xbet understood that honesty is the best policy, even if you want to make money.
By the way their past actions tells a lot about them. That's why I don't trust them and their sister companies. They created bet-b2b platform and created tons of scam casinos.
wow that must be a great strategy to fool people , changing the result in google search ? sad if this is really the truth then and also this same reason why there are so many victims from outside bitcointalk that comes inside just to claim their funds being scammed .
so this is how they truly wanted to victimized people and still pretending to be different site?
what i was wondering is how many sites being connected to 1xbet/1xbit that still existing .
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: December 05, 2023, 06:00:02 AM
I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.
What about those Millionaires or not Billionaires that still loves to gamble? we can also prove that there are famous celebrity that inlove in gambling.
Like Michael Jordan ,tigerwoods and even those popular rappers and singers that literally showing their passion and addiction to gambling , are they really in need of money to sustain their living? because I don't think so.
Quote
So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
of course , there are fewer rich gamblers than Middle and of course the lower class because most gamblers nowadays are those who have  not capacity to live luxurious that's why they are trying to win and get luck from gambling.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 05, 2023, 05:48:54 AM
https://www.livemint.com/market/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-surges-2-87-to-its-highest-level-this-year-11701429005470.html

Bitcoin has surged for 2.87% today and reached the highest level in 2023. Does this year has more surprises for us and we can break all time high of bitcoin ?
It has been expected to reach 40$k and above this December mate , though some believe it will take place in November but of course many have failed  Grin

ATH this year is 39k and still counting https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/  so I assume this week( as we are still in weekend) will have 40kish in the morning of Monday .
2.87% is still a little to 5 that i believe will seal the BULL run properly , How many times that we are in 30k  level but never break 40k since couple of years.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 04, 2023, 07:33:14 AM
There are some influencers that I am following who are often showing to the Public their bitcoin and other crypto maybe because they wanted to Lure more followers and maybe some will sign up to  their  crypto classes as they are offering a paid crypto knowledge sharing(some even pretending to be mentor)
but for me personally , I only share my assets to a few people and the first is My wife and daughter , and also my Mother and father .,some people that close to me also knew i am into crypto but never that i told them my assets.
It is for attraction why they're showing their Bitcoin holdings to the public. It's a norm these days on social media that they need to show off for them to get followed.
While the bunch of followers do not think of it, as long as there's money involved, someone's eyes is interested to look at the wealth of over people.
This is what influence and social media has done for the most.
Some of those who watched or love seeing the wealth being shared are people that wanted to have a inspiration (aside those greed people that loves seeing luxury and just dream of it)
because those who used as inspiration make their life grows as they believe that if you are looking for something to copy in life then better that this is overwhelming amount to push you through the target.
also this is why they are called influencer to influence people having a better life, while some of those are just want to show their luxurious life for own stupidity.
Not everyone has the same motive for holding bitcoins but my personal opinion is to share with your family because family is the closest when times are bad. If there is any danger someone in his family can easily use bitcoin. May cause harm to others no one else like the family would ever want to get in trouble for harm. Let's share with one of the family to eliminate their own problems.
our family is our defense system ,but some are greed and yeah these days Blood is not important now , but the desire to become rich and yes they will try taking your money from you.
599  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 03, 2023, 05:17:53 AM
Busted! Were trying to hunt a Scatter bonus on Gates. Around 2000 spins, did not get a single one. What a session, so bad, better luck next time.
Gates of Olympus? If in 2000 spins you don't get one, your luck is not good. How many bets did you play, if I may ask. Why not try your luck with the buy free spins feature.
If you play at the lowest bet with 2000 spins, I think that amount can be used to buy the free spin feature. Who knows, you might get some good luck there.
That is a large amount of Spins to spend in one slot game , My attitude is to try my first 50-100  spins in particular game then if find no Luck I am going to another one then try again , that's how i deal in slot games .
and I think that should be what most slot lovers do, though 2000 spins for how much bet each spins?
or indeed that is the main target is to gain free spins from the event so Hope the next try will bring Her winning at least not till 2000 tries.
and also interested in how much He deposited to partake in Duelbits giveaway.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: December 02, 2023, 05:10:45 AM

I have seen crack heads more than responsible with there cash, than gambling addicts, this is what make me to ask you guys this question, drug junks are more responsible than gamblers, I have seen a gambling addict who spend 200 grand in under one and half hour on gambling, I've never seen a crack head done such before, not even on drugs.

You have a valid arguments even better than Drunkard and Womanizer  but let me tell you this .
it is indeed that Drug addict are better than Gambling addicts but that is if they will stick into drugs + liquor + woman , even those 3 combined won't make them lose amount being spent by gamblers.

But sorry to call this but most  drug abuser that I knew is also involved in Gambling , because some drugs even bring them Positive views and vibes that encouraged them to try and enjoy gambling.
