If you hear voices often, this method is for you! The truly scary part to that is when you realize they are not only real, but also accurate

With the bitcoin price rallying like crazy it is am economically bad decision to give it out of hand. Nobody pays with gold either (because it is too difficult) but it still is worth a lot - bitcoin will be just like that until it stabilizes.
I think there always be markets where people will trade in bitcoin just because it has numerous advantages over other currencies. High volatility is just a minor inconvenience. If you look at the SilkRoad, they already found a way around this

How sustainable is this though? Are there any analyses out there about this crazy rise in bitcoin value?
I would like to hear some good arguments to persuade me this isn't a self-reinforcing bubble with nothing at the end of it except a loud 'pop'...

Convincing people it's not illegal? Smoke a joint with them first to ease their fears. If it's a relative, drink a bottle of quality vodka before the joint.
Yea, that ak-47 you got on the black market and paid with bitcoins may also help

Who me? I don't even use truecrypt. All my drives got formatted long time and that thing that looks like random data - it's just elecromagnetic field from my crt playing tricks on carelessly placed HDD's. Hell, I wouldn't even be here if my neighbor wasn't so kind to lend me his laptop once in a while

I think it deserves a bump

Now I wonder if there ever was a case in UK where court was not satisfied with the supplied passwords. From technical standpoint there is no way to prove that hidden volume exists
Actually, there's no way to prove it DOESN'T exist. You can prove it DOES exist by opening it up. If you don't have hidden partition, the prosecution (or interrogator) says you're just lying and you really do, and there's no way to prove your innocence. But the last time I checked it's *NOT guilty* until proven otherwise. If I say there's no hidden volume and they have no evidence that's a pretty lousy case in IMHO. It's the same as me saying prosecution was paid to put me behind bars. Just my word against theirs

I think we all know what the answer to this question is

Hey, some of us are also gun enthusiasts. And community activists, which is a good way to effect non-state organization. It might not be so bad. Religious gun enthusiast. You know I start to like you

can't see it working with bitcoin mining rigs unless this society is even more far gone than my paranoid mind is imagining ... unlikely, but I've underestimated the depravity of the "state is god mentality" before
Today a woman asked me if I installed google on her laptop
