there are too many doge coins. and the year of the dog will not bring the course up. doge increases when btc rises and doge falls when btc drops. It was 4 years and will always be like this. there are just too many dogecoins. that will not be supercoin in 100 years
DOGE was mined far too quickly and then abandoned by its creator. That is not good combination for any coin. 5% annual inflation on already far too big supply wont help it stability too. And where is Satoshi with his bitcoin? Which was initially mined centrally by only himself. Yet here's bitcoin today 9 years later, WITH inflation

Except that there is no indication that RLC rise is happening right now during this DogeCoin correction. Not just that... where's the volume . . . 1 Buy order at 1 sat

I've been dogecoin since 2013. but the course is still very low. If I had bought btc then I would be millionaire today. that was a big mistake in 2013. and I think doge will never be worth more than 100-150 satoshi because there are way too many coins. that was a mistake of the DEV in 2014
That's why we need limited supply. Coins with an inflation rate are no better than USD. People know that the FED will print more and more money every day/month/year and their USD will lose value so they dump their USD for goods. (that makes USD to lose its value even further) Same applies to Doge. You know that the amount of doge will be infinite. So people dump it for something with a limited supply. (btc, ltc, gold, iphone 8, Nvidia Gtx 1080ti or whatever) Well if you go by supply/demand principle, with 7 billion people in the world, and approx 113 billion coins in circulation, it's actually not a very large supply, which means not every person in the world can even hold more than 16 doges if distribution was equally divided.

Fellow miners look what I have found for you all, for anyone wanting to sell at 0.00000119 per DOGE! Didn't believe it myself either till I tried and have made over 273% profit! Also got a nice 0.1 BTC bonus for a promotion on new users they are having! https://0xchange.com/market/doge-btcGuys report this account/give negative trust ratings, it will help others/noobs to stay clear of these scams

I dont know why your targetting me or studly, I think you and your associates might need to do a little deeper research before you go around accusing people of stuff, if you want to talk to me, I'm always available on discord I honestly dont know where some of this comes from, try to be rational and reasonable. I dont have any power over CM, I cant get my money, or your money out, I'm just being hopeful that it comes back, we are planning(as a group) different strategies to ease the pain, though your not helping the situation at all. I bought all my Electra, majority of it from coinsmarkets, I always advised people to move their coins off, so maybe you were being dismissive, ignorant or stubborn? if you want to talk about it, I'm on discord, as for your detective work, you might want to give your magnifying glass a clean, because forget being on the wrong track, your on the wrong continent... nice "newbie" response, instead of saying someone's investigation is wrong, actually back up your rebuttal with proofs rather than words on thin air bud.

people who have been following this saga for the past cpl of months, what are realistically the chances for CM being restored with our balances intact? less than 5%? or is that also too hopeful?
I personally have seen one scam after another in crypto, and I'm sorry to say, but this one is another to go in that bag of scams. If any of you here know about mcxnow or Rawx (only two ppl ran that exchange), and sorry to tell you, it just doesn't take over month to fix an exchange.

From what I'm seeing or NOT seeing I should say is any code here that actually does any RPC checking of the wallets... just manually typed in some stats of a few coins... and "images" of green-circle.jpg to say they're online lol Any php guys here can further analyze this? Otherwise, sorry to say ... totally mocked up webpage with no actual coin stats.

Anybody consider that possibly the site was hacked, and now the hackers are just trolling with these "news" or headline updates on site's the main page....
Owners may be long gone by now.

Substratum has apparently done 2 coin "burns" since inception. However, why weren't the coins actually burned by being sent to a 0x00.. address, or using a burn function (which doesn't exist in the contract, an oversight?) ?
Instead the coins were just sent in a standard fashion to :
https://etherscan.io/token/0x12480e24eb5bec1a9d4369cab6a80cad3c0a377a?a=0xd41d37f9865cc121f71957e6eafb09cbdc98d6c3
Thus: Is there anyway to verify this Substratum address' private key isn't owned by anybody ? Cause sorry to say, this isn't "burning".
The team needs to explain/rectify this.

I think that the registrar is holding the Domain because of all of the complaints. CM can't withdraw the funds from the wallets because the registrar wont allow them access. It looks like a poor exit scam to me. They can't access the wallets because the host is holding them. All the complaints prevented them from making a clean exit scam. I doubt CM will come back up, which makes me doubt that anyone will recover their funds.
No, that would mean the hosting provider has suspended access to their server, which means they wouldn't have been able to update the news page of the site, furthermore the site would be completely offline since the server would be suspended as well, and that's not the case. you have it confused between the difference between a hosting provider and domain name hosting.

If you can compile the code, you'll be able to sync the blockchain and only take up a about 3 GB of space by using prune=2200 to the dogecoin.conf file. You just have to comment out this part of code in the src/init.cpp file: https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/10a5e93a055ab5f239c5447a5fe05283af09e293/src/init.cpp#L758#ifdef ENABLE_WALLET if (!GetBoolArg("-disablewallet", false)) { if (SoftSetBoolArg("-disablewallet", true)) LogPrintf("%s : parameter interaction: -prune -> setting -disablewallet=1\n", __func__); else return InitError(_("Can't run with a wallet in prune mode.")); } #endif }
and either you can delete those lines or comment it out by adding /* */ around that code so it looks like: /* #ifdef ENABLE_WALLET if (!GetBoolArg("-disablewallet", false)) { if (SoftSetBoolArg("-disablewallet", true)) LogPrintf("%s : parameter interaction: -prune -> setting -disablewallet=1\n", __func__); else return InitError(_("Can't run with a wallet in prune mode.")); } #endif } */
This is leftover code that hasn't been removed, before SPV functionality was implemented, but can be safely changed so that pruning can be used with the wallet.
