181  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 09, 2024, 02:09:02 PM

Does your “friend” bet on same matches as yours but on opposite side? Because there’s no problem if you both on same matches on same exact pick. But if you’re always have a contradicting bet then this will surely raise a suspicion for arbitrage betting which is not allowed in the casino because you can freely get rakeback and other passive reward such as airdrop and lvl up reward without losing anything.

But at least you should recover your initial deposit unless the other account successfully manage to withdraw the balance which cover your initial deposit. This story of yours about multiple account that involves family, friends and other relatives is the common reason of those players caught doin arbitrage bet and different kind of abuse.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Restricted games on one casino but playable to other one on: March 09, 2024, 01:59:42 PM
I believe this discrepancy on ToS depends on the license which the casino using since their location varies and it has different set of law. I notice that you use a mirror link of bc.game which probably the reason why you can access the casino including the games that is originally restricted from your country.

@Oshondy suggestion is on point since each casino ToS will govern and they can use it against you in the future once you win huge amount on game provider that restrict you from playing.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 08, 2024, 03:36:37 PM
Stress relieve isn't the initial purpose of gambling but complimentary purpose of gambling, if you want to relieve your stress, you can do it that with gambling alone because it's actually relative, there are some kind of stress that need beyond recreational activities to get relived of them so with such stress resulting to gambling wouldn't be a good enough solution rather stress therapy would help better but taking a break from the days activities could come along with gambling to relieve yourself of the stress you must have faced working that day or most kind of Minor stress.

The stress relief that comes with gambling is sometimes relative, and this is because if you are loosing probably you turned from gambling for fun to gambling to get a few box, you could actually end up stressing more because when you stake heavy and loose forgetting you were supposed to gamble for fun you end up building another stress.

Honestly, I never heard someone that successfully relieve stress through gambling. They are just doing this popular phrase to fuel their gambling whenever they have nothing to do. Boredom relief is more accurate than stress relief since gambling games has a house edge that will surely make you lose in the end.

Gambling is not designed to relief stress unless you have weird satisfaction of losing money which this case is possible for using gambling as way to relief stress. But in my long time experience playing gambling, I never kill stress playing even if I’m winning because there’s still part of me that is just not satisfied no matter how big money I can win when I’m stress out.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 08, 2024, 02:53:00 PM

I've purchased a Mac laptop that's way expensive than the average laptops I could easily get but because I needed what will work well for the kind of job I do, I had to buy it and I must say that the fulfillment out ways the negative thought of not to purchasing it.

That's one factor that lead me to always go for high quality and luxurious stuff after that moment.

Have you bought something that people feel is rather too expensive and that you could have purchased a lower version of it? What was your inexperience like after that?

On your example, you are mixing luxury to high quality because there’s a lot of items that is cheap yet provides a quality that same with luxury items. For example, LV bags is definitely luxury but there’s other manufacturers that can provide same quality materials in cheaper price because they don’t have the brand name. Luxury items become “luxurious” because of their brand and not only due to their quality. Luxurious brand mark up their items exponentially since they are confident with their brand.

With that being said, You should be aiming for high quality item not for luxurious item because other brand can give same quality and comfortable without paying more for the brand names. Don’t be a victim of marketing scheme. Not all luxurious item is high quality some them is just there due to their established brand.

BlackJack looks cool, but tonight I didn't have luck this evening... after 5-6 busted hands I decided to go all in, and I lost that hand as well, dealer won with 21. The only good thing is that I didn't have a huge bankroll, I played with SHIB.

By the way, Betfury Bot seems to be very interesting, I am still trying to figure it out... looks like there is some cool stuff that bot can do for us players. And the new wheel looks nice, I hope it will start giving some better prizes!

This is the only danger of playing house blackjack, You can be easily triggered of consecutive losses especially if the lose is consistent good hands of dealer such as 20 and Blackjack. This house blackjack is good when you are good on managing your bankroll because it’s very easy to go all-in on this game just like what you did.

I’m always a victim of this rush all-in whenever the dealer has a consistent good hands while your hands is always ranging from 16-12. Sometimes losing with 20 while dealer has a hidden blackjack makes me think that the game is rigged even on probably fair games that’s I only play now on live games so that I can see the cards physically.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 08, 2024, 12:48:27 PM
Do you think decentralized gambling dApps will eventually replace their centralized counterparts? If not, why? Which do you prefer? Centralized or decentralized gambling? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

Gamblers is now more confident with casino license than decentralized games since common gambler still doesn’t understand how smart contracts works and how to verify probably fair games.

Besides most of the cool games from 3rd party providers is from centralized casino. So unless decentralized games can match how cool the games on centralized casino, I doubt gamblers will choose decentralized over centralized casino. Most of the games on decentralized casino is more on common simple games. I’m not sure what’s the current game version they offer but I doubt they can match centralized games.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any meme coin has the ability to challenge bitcoin dominance ? on: March 07, 2024, 02:52:49 PM
Meme coins like Pepe, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu had a crazy week and some Bitcoiners might be tempted to jump ship for those quick profits. Bitcoin's been around, widely accepted and seen as a digital gold standard. Meme coins are flashy but Bitcoin's got that history and stability. It's like comparing a wild ride to a steady cruise. While meme coins make waves, Bitcoin's still the big ship in the crypto sea, weathering storms and all. The landscape shifts but Bitcoin's got that lasting power

There’s really a lot of crypto traders jump in meme coin recently since most altcoins and Bitcoin already reach the known peak. Meme coin grow on an insane level for a short period of time but correct harder too in short term.

There’s no way a token like this can rival Bitcoin dominance that is short term pump and dump. Even if we add the marketcap of meme coin in the market there’s no way for a token like this without any real utility can have the dominance like Bitcoin with a solid fundamentals. Besides token needs to have a sustainability in terms of price just to get the majority of the dominance.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 07, 2024, 12:24:54 PM
We care less about these people as they don't care about us as well. That is how bad the addiction affects relationships as many people will stay away from us even some of our family members and close friends. But we don't think about it instead, help ourselves to prevent from falling into addiction because many people will start to hate us if that happens.

I think this depends on the culture of your country because here in my country, Asian country specifically. You can’t continue your addiction without receiving heavy scolding from your family and criticism to your neighbors. You can’t become a gambling addicts here without noticing by others or being ignored since everything here can be gossip against you.

Actually being ignored when you have problem sometimes works well since you can’t affect them. They don’t think about your problem which means you’re the only one affected and not your family. On this topic, I’m skeptical why a gambling addict will show his problem on family while this problem typically being kept and not shown since it’s nothing to be proud of.   Huh
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 07, 2024, 11:33:37 AM
In the film "Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King", there's a couple whose man has lost everything in the platform (QuadrigaCX).

She forgives him: it seems to me that this case is different, because in the end he invested and was fooled, which could happen in any business. Nevertheless, as we often say, only invest in crypto what you can afford to lose. Gambling is more of a hobby and should be kept under control, except perhaps in the case of card games like poker, where you can become very good at it and make a living of it.

Losing on gambling is more disgraceful than losing your through investment because they have different purposes. Investment main goal is grow your money through buying assets without any house edge unlike gambling that is design for entertainment purposes only since gambling games has house edge that will make players in guaranteed lose over time.

Even I will do the same about forgiving my partner if he loss his money on investment since there’s always like that on investment unlike in gambling that it’s a natural phenomenon.
191  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: March 07, 2024, 10:28:47 AM

Sad to see this thread became active once they announce their departure of this forum. If this activity just happen when they are still operating maybe they consider to test out for more months to see if there would be changes.

But since the decision has been done so maybe the only thing done by people is to speculate whether if they came back again and compete with other top casino in this forum. But for sure once they see how big the market of crypto especially when they see a lot of demands maybe they would think about it and do more better on their next launch.

They are closing the casino, not the marketing alone I doubt that this activity on their ANN thread will help to change their decision because they can always start again with different approach if the goal is just the impression here in the forum. I think there’s a bigger problem inside of them.

We can use Betnomi for example, they close unexpectedly while there’s still a lot of active players and promotion happening. At least on Justcasino case, They do the closure professionally without harming players that trusted their brand. I’m sure they will come back stronger in the future.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 07, 2024, 09:26:27 AM
Anytime the price of Bitcoin skyrockets, there would be massive selling of Bitcoin and this practice(s) have always lead to the price of Bitcoin falling back afterwards. During the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs, it was observed that the massive selling of Bitcoin when the price got to $48,000 made the price to fall to $38,000, it was after the corrections that the price began to soar higher again till now that it has set a new ATH of about $69,210 and immediately, massive selling and withdrawal of Bitcoin was also noticed.

Wouldn't this continues practice of withdrawing and selling off whenever the price skyrockets going to slow the volatility of Bitcoin to continue skyrocketing? Since the price automatically starts experiencing a dip after every massive withdrawal.

It’s pretty nomal that many will sell their holdings of the price skyrocketing because it’s the perfect timing to take profit. I’m not sure how you do your trade but you should do the same if you purchased on the bottom and already profited a lot. Price will not continuously to rise since there’s always a trader that purchase on the bottom of the current price.

Those new investors that will enter on the current price will do the same if the price grow in the future above the current price. This is the normal cycle of trading. You should worry more if there’s no one selling even on price rally for a long time because it will form a bubble that will later on destroy the price once popped due to everyone take profit at the same time.

Do what you suggest if you just recently purchased and want to hold long term but this is not applicable to everyone especially those who are already in profit a lot.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 01:00:58 PM
AI has impacted almost all online businesses to major extent. Do you feel that there will be major impact of AI technology on online gambling industry as well ?
Gambling will always be a gambling. There’s no way for an AI to solve a randomness to determine what will the result for an RNG. I think AI can be helpful on sports betting area since it can gather all data available on the internet but still it can give you a 100% result.

I believe AI can only affect a PVP skills type game since AI will excel on this due to its consistent and accurate feature. But this AI will not affect the current luck based games since it’s pure random.
194  Economy / Gambling / Re: An open letter to Eddie from Stake with lots of shares on Reddit on: March 06, 2024, 12:49:21 PM
Has someone archived a letter? And who is Eddie? A user called Stunna? If Stunan is not Eddie, then who is Stunna? I'm just interested in.

I think Stunna is, or at least was, Steve. Which position he has at stake, I don't know. Maybe one of the partners or something. At least he is also acting as a VIP host (I also had him in the past), is always on the stake stream and has other important stuff to do for their operations.

IIRC Stunna is one of the founding member of Stake. He/she was with Eddie when they founded Primedice that later introduced Stake.com as casino extension since primedice is only dedicated for dice game. Stunna is the one that handling all forum matters related to primedice before way back when they still have few employees. I think he is now doing excutive role that’s why he is rarely seen here but I believe he and eddie is the co-owner of primdice and probably Stake too.

About the reddit post, too bad it's gone, would have loved to read it.

I have a glimpse on that reddit post but I can’t post here word by word. The letter contains about complaintbcomment how Stake promote their casino through influencers all over the social media.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 05, 2024, 03:25:37 PM
Therefore, before you go any further to start investing in a particular casino platform, try to reconsider the risks you will face.

AFAIK, Investing on casino platform(Casino that run for a long time with regular gamblers)  is much better than defi and other investment scheme available on crypto because at has an actual product that can generate profit unlike others that is just relying to others investment money to redistribute to other investors AKA ponzi scheme.

There’s still some decent casino that offers high confidence of investment. You just need to check the casino background itself to make your investment worth it.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 05, 2024, 02:56:28 PM
Bitcoin touched new ATH in 2024 of around $69000. There is fear in some investors that there can be a big correction from here. But, there are many investors who are still investing in bitcoin even if the prices are near ATH. What is your one primary reason to keep investing in BTC even at these levels.

I’m not adding more Bitcoin on my holdings but what motivates me to still hold my Bitcoin investments is due to the upcoming Bitcoin halving that always incorporates with massive price growth based on the history of all Halving happened in the past.

Bitcoin price cycle never been broken ever since and with the approval of ETF, there’s no stopping anymore for Bitcoin growth unless something major bad news occur which unlikely to happened now. To make it simple, I’m still holding because I’m positive that Bitcoin price will at least x2 the previous ATH because that’s what always happen.
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 05, 2024, 02:40:49 PM
What I had seen out there was that Bitcoincasino could receive players who had a VPN, I don't remember very well, but one day I saw it and it caught my attention, I wanted to ask that in the same thread but the truth is that it caught my attention. have forgotten, but if so they would have a lot of advantage over other casinos, I don't think of a big gambler who puts a lot of money in a casino, I learned that things shouldn't be done that way Because of my economic situation, otherwise I put in little money, that's enough to find what I'm looking for.

But that has to be read in the Tos, in everything that is necessary so as not to later be left with doubts or with claims that may not make sense and one will look like a fool for not reading the Tos, as has happened on many occasions, now I casino them They have all those Demands currently , therefore every time we go to make a claim we Must keep all that in our Mind.

I’m a little bit confused and a little bit migraine reading your post until the end what’s the real thought or conclusion of what you are trying to share here. Your post is very long but doesn’t give clear thoughts on what you are trying to say.

Are you pertaining to Bitcasino.io by any chance? Because this casino is indeed not strict with the use VPN given that it will not be use to hide restricted location.

You’re right if this what you really mean that it’s important to check the ToS personally rather than follow someone suggestion since this might cause a fortune if you win jackpot but later on the casino is really doesn’t allowed VPN.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: March 03, 2024, 02:58:36 PM
Maybe he is just one example that has come to the surface after dozens and even hundreds of people who have done the same thing, nowadays most gamblers choose the suicide option not because they lose, but if we explore their motives further then maybe debt is their main reason commit suicide.

Possibly since not all suicide is documented properly because some family wants to hide the fact if the reason of death is suicide more importantly it involves gambling. In our country culture, this will give shame to family reputation that’s why members always secret this information to the public.

Quote
From this experience I started to think that gambling actually causes a lot of problems noy just for us but also for our families.

Gambling is not the only one to blame because it’s just a game that involves money if you think about it carefully. It doesn’t force you to play to make you addicted. Only the human nature greediness makes it worse and blame all to gambling while they should be the one to be blame because they control their funds not the casino.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 03, 2024, 01:17:09 PM

LeBron breaking records is really fun because we are witnessing history in a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and we should cherish that. Not being a kj here, but the problem with LeBron breaking records is that the Lakers are winning those games. When he breaks Kareem's record against OKC, they lose. Then today, against Denver, they lost again. I am not saying that LeBron is the problem here; I think it is the Lakers' inconsistency. Maybe we can say that some of the Lakers players don't want to exert that much effort in these games because LeBron's record should be the priority, but it should not; they must eye for the bigger prize, which is the trophy.

Also, when was the last time the Lakers won against the Denver? The Lakers are 0-7 against the Denver since the sweep in the Western Conference Finals up to this season. They are getting outcoached once again in the 4th, which is also one of their problems in the WCF.

NBA is getting softer and less defensive as meta of every team unlike before which defense is priority and crucial to win the game. Right now, NBA is more shooting perimeter shots to win the games and leaving defense open and just recover to it through scoring. With this kind of playing style, I think someone in the new era can break records easily.

The only unique for LBJ is his great physique which is very impressive considering his age. Some basketball players with great talent will have multiple injury that affects tha5 game but Lebron is very good on protecting his body to maintain this kind of performance until now.
200  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 03, 2024, 12:07:21 PM

The good thing is that the pie they are sharing is a huge pie. The crypto gambling industry is already in the billions, and with the ongoing popularity of crypto, the numbers will just continue to grow. Each platform has its own way of introducing itself to the public, and the more they are eager to advertise, the more the industry will improve as a whole. This casino is quite new but is already gaining popularity here, and probably outside the forum too.

I’m surprised that they managed to land their promotion here in Bitcointalk while they already have strong marketing on social media. This only show that our forum is being valued even by casino that has strong marketing already outside here.

Truly as a result of the publicity and awareness, Metawin casino became much more popular that each gambler wants to get registered. I understand that social media is okay for advertising but I think this platform has a good advertising strength when it gets to do with online casino that involves Crypto currency. Every one individual or gambler here are conversant and farmiliar with crypto currency and coupled with the fact that the population here is in millions so that is an added advantage to take charge of.
Metawin coming here is never a mistake and I strongly believe the promotion is creating more awareness and publicity for the casino.

Aside from this, Bitcointalk forum is very good to increase Search Engine Optimization ranking of the casino which social media can’t do. I believe this is the main purpose of Metawin that’s why they expanded their promotion in the which is the home of top tier casino existing on crypto space.

I hope that they will start soon another exclusive promotion in games and round section of the forum because I didn’t win the last time I participate. This is one of the casino that is very generous for their promotion rewards so I’m very happy to be part of this history in the making.
