681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A typical weekend in sport betting-Why do gamblers still do sport bets? on: September 03, 2023, 05:11:34 PM
According to your reasoning, should we just give up on everything since life is unpredictable? Sports betting demands diligence. It's for people that dig deep, think critically, and grasp the subtleties. casino games? They are for individuals who enjoy simplicity and calm

The unpredictable nature of sports betting is what makes it so appealing. Sports betting is worthwhile because of the drama, highs and lows, and upsets that are inherent to the sport. Yes, today's weaker teams fell short. Then what? After all, it's just a game. The slot machines may be calling your name if you find the excitement of the pursuit too much to handle. That is not an offence

Yeah, He forget to consider that sports betting is still a prediction which not always the strong team wins against weaker team. I believe he is the type of bettor that always choose a match that has significant difference on strength that makes it easy to predict who will win. More on games with odds less than 1.5.

I understand his sentiment too if you are a player like him but nt all players bet that way and some preferred to bet on a match that almost even to have a better odds.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges which allow deposit/withdrawal without KYC on: September 03, 2023, 04:27:01 PM
Please let me know about Exchanges that allow deposit/withdrawal without KYC and their limits if possible.

KuCoin used to be the best Non-KYC exchange earlier. But they recently changed their policies I guess. Do check them out and if possible reach their support team. They will surely tell you what exactly required in order to trade in their exchange. Moreover I haven’t traded anywhere else to be honest. Binance, Kucoin and Okex were the ones where I have traded before and I can vouch for them. But before depositing funds anywhere do check their terms and conditions, so that in future you won’t face any troubles.

Kucoin already imposed mandatory KYC recently that makes them join the exchange like Binance that requires full KYC in able to use the exchange.

Huobi and Bitget are the current top exchange that still doesn’t require KYC but I’m not confident any of them since Huobi is owned by Sun while Bitget is using paid shill here in the forum to create fake interactions to promote the exchange.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: September 03, 2023, 04:22:42 PM
No star player is agreeably just a placebo effect on any team, and unlike Ronaldo and Messi who have influenced their new teams to attain new feats, they are expected to perform excellent service in the positions they are signed for and nothing less of that.

My question is simple, do star players really affect the odds of a bet, or wager or stake on a match, putting into consideration the four levels of contribution in a match, as I mentioned earlier?

Star player wouldn’t be called star player if their stats doesn’t prove their title. It’s not a placebo effect but rather a team can perform well if they knew someone reliable that will carry them to win since they will only need to support the star player to win.

In terms of odds, star player highly affect the odds since this player is typically dictate the tempo of the game and the team can’t replace the player which the gameplay revolves on him.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 03, 2023, 12:17:16 PM
Honestly, mate, I know about horse racing as we also have horse racing competitions in our country, but the lack of media coverage is probably the reason why I didn't develop a passion for this sport. Basketball has always been the most popular sport in our country, which is why I tend to focus my gambling on basketball, especially the NBA.

I'm just curious why it's not popular here considering it's part of the most popular sports to bet on.

https://www.pledgesports.org/2020/05/most-popular-sports-to-bet-on/

Exactly, this is same my point on why horse racing doesn’t popular worldwide. Also the investment for the horse racetrack is one of concern since only few can afford to host this game since the horse requires huge field to race compared to cockfight colliseum.

Raising and training a horse too is not an easy task which is why there's only few players interested to enter the competition. But with a good media coverage, I think horse racing might be popular again because this is a very exhilarating sports.
685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 03, 2023, 12:04:45 PM
Well atleast there is 400+ members.
Anyways i remember long time Ago most of money i have made when ETC and SOL was pumping...i made out of 10$ to 500$ and that's something from that day i falled love with trading.

400+ that doesn’t know each other and probably most of them are just dummy account to boost the page member. Wallstreet members knew each other personally and they are working closely.

I doubt that this group is serious and loyal to each other especially the one who will give the signal to buy. Trust no one in crypto because we are all aiming here for profit not to become equally rich. Even scammer Bitboy was kicked out from his own company.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 02, 2023, 06:19:14 PM
Unfortunately, it seems to me that such devices only partially block the access of children, and especially teenagers, to sites that are not intended for children.  In any school classroom there is always a computer genius, the same age as your children, who from an early age is well versed in how to get around all these protections.

Even without this othe children help. There’s a lot of available source in the internet to fix almost everything related to the gadget such as forum and youtube since internet gives the freedom to explore almost anything in the web.

A simple child restriction will only work for a short time because human always have the curiosity to explore those forbidden and try it for themselves. I were the parents, I will slowly educate them about gambling so that they can decide for their own that gambling is risky instead of giving them a restriction that will push them to explore more out of curiosity.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 02, 2023, 06:04:44 PM
There is a halving coming next year to which many people who know and have bitcoins have set a target of the amount they hope to have in their holding by the time the bull run begins.

Putting eggs on one basket is a very bad investment plan. Diversifying it on different asset is still the right thing to do even though Bitcoin halving is proven working in term of price growth. There’s still a chance that price won’t pump so making safe investments through diversification of assets is what I always do. I never combine the investment money from fiat investments and crypto investments so that I can make sure that I still have some investment left in case the other crash.

I’m investing more on stock exchange of construction companies here in our country because there’s a lot of development being mapped by the government and investors here. This is my other investment aside from Bitcoin investment.
688  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mixing coins through exchanges on: September 02, 2023, 05:33:21 PM
It is possible to mix coins through exchange ?

If i deposit from my wallet BTC to the exchange and then withdraw them to another btc address, will my coins be tracked?

It’s only possible to mix using exchange if you are hiding your transactions from someone who can’t force the exchange to reveal your KYC and internal transfer history since exchange use a liquidity pool that share with all their users.

But if your purpose is to hide from the government then Exchange is the worst place to mix your coins because they are centralized services which is regulated by the government.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagining what he will be like the last halving on: September 02, 2023, 05:29:55 PM
What are your thoughts about the future of bitcoin in times of the last halving ?
I am thinking about how many zeros (not decimals) it will be for the price of Bitcoin if ever it's still alive by that time.

I’m curious about this too since transaction fee is fixed in sats value while it’s equivalent value in fiat will grow exponentially in future due to the price discovery of Bitcoin.

I doubt people will still use Bitcoin if the fee will grow more zero in fiat value since this is not economical. Maybe there will be some adjustment in the future the amount of transaction fee in sats in proportion with the fiat value.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 02, 2023, 02:32:26 PM
In my humble opinion, Horse racing is not popular to me because this sports is not easy to follow unlike other sports which stats and livestream is available on many website.

I once bet on horse racing but have a hard time finding a live stream to watch the match online especially those horse racing from Japanese. I believe this sports will be popular if the streaming for the live match is accessible including the horse stats.
691  Economy / Services / Re: Purchase a theme from the Envato Market on my behalf. on: September 02, 2023, 02:29:14 PM
I will use bitcoin to pay you the theme price plus your fee. You must have access to any of the payment options listed below: PayPal, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

I'll give you the login information for my Envato account. You must sign in and pay.  Many thanks

I can do this using my paypal account but I don’t know how much fee I will charge so just give me an offer through PM.

Also, I just want to let you know that I will remove my paypal account on the payment option the moment I successfully purchased you the premium account to avoid being automatically deducted of the monthly subscription. Shoot me a PM so that we can arrange everything. I will not go first on this deal so which means that you will pay me first for the premium cost plus the fee(whatever you feel comfortable) before I will process the premium.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Socialtournaments-A way to stop gambling addiction on: September 01, 2023, 06:27:16 PM
I don't know if many of you knows SocialTournaments where they hold free tournaments with different types, maximum multiplier, total points score and other related slot machines tournament, they are managed by Pragmatic Play provider and it is a way to invite people to gambling but I see it as an alternative to people who are addicted, they can stop the addiction as they offer enough daily, weekly and monthly tournaments to keep you entertained without you spending any money and if you are in luck and get the biggest multiplier or biggest score you even win real money to your account which you can withdraw to your crypto wallets.

No, It’s still gambling which means people will always have the curiosity to try the real deal gambling to experience more profit instead of this small prize when you win on this tournament. This kind of tournament is also not in regular basis which means players can’t use this as an alternative for gambling addiction since you will need a consistent gaming to fight addiction,

I start on playing slot games that doesn’t involve real money just to try it until I become curious to try the real slot game after winning huge amount of play money tokens hoping that it will be the same. My curiosity and ambition push me to gamble, same with other players that will join on this kind of tournament.

I’m not aware with this tournament, Can you provide a the link for sample?
693  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Okbet.com frozen on: September 01, 2023, 03:49:53 PM
I made a warning thread about this casino few days ago on our local board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464308.msg62763252#msg62763252 when I experience bug on their game. It's too bad that my account automatically frozen when I withdraw now.
I hope the casino support isn't lurking around the forums stalking your review threads. If the forum account name is identical to your casino username, it may be a matter of personal sentiment so they freeze you for no apparent reason and deny your complaint at all costs. Grin

I’m not using same username since I register using the gcash app and it assign a random username for which I didn’t change. The sad part is my account was automatically KYC verified before I play since that’s their protocol which I ignore since Pagcor accredited.

They already shut the door for me to help after they ask me to provide a business permit for my business to verify that I’m not a government employee which is the case they are taghing to my account for unknown reason.

My account total wagering volume is not greater than 200$ and I only play for 2 days but they are asking a requirements as if I won a jackpot amount considering that my account is already KYC verified. This scam shit casino is worst than 1xbit casino to be honest.  Cheesy
What about their licensor, have they made any kind of response to your report? also, I am confused, how is the business permit gonna prove that you are not a government employee?

This is actually my point to them, How come determining that I have other source of income can verify that I’m not a government employee. This shit casino makes tons of excuses while the amount that we are talking here is not even on the minimum amount for the casino to suspect as money laundering. This casino surely doing some excuses to hold my withdrawal even with just small amount. Funny how they tagged my account while they have x1 wagering requirements on withdrawal while most of my games is just pure random bets.

Have you tried filing a police report? if you get the authorities to cooperate, I'd imagine your case gets more weight + priority to your local regulator.

Found an interesting thread and thought I'd mention since Gcash + gambling were indicated in this thread. The gist is, shady gambling websites also phished their users' gcash accounts therefore as a just to be sure precaution, I would advise changing your login information in gcash as well! see full article: https://www.rappler.com/technology/gcash-security-breach-phishing-online-gambling-sites-npc/

Filing a police report with this small amount involved will surely be ignored by police officers here. I already report them to their licensors but I don't have high hopes that this issue will be looked by them since this casino is paying big time for their license while my money involved is very small. This is how our government and local authorities works here.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 03:43:27 PM
As for me I dislike when gamblers complain of their losses, meanwhile you hear them complain when they are getting winnings.

What about you, what do you dislike ?

Showing an upset emotion is normal behavior of gambler after losses but complaining about it on a public space is really an eye sore since we all know that gambling is all about risking money therefore there’s a high chance that you will lose. Complaining about while knowing this facts is surely annoying especially if they are claiming that the casino is rigged.

I personally experienced being scam by a casino and that’s the only time I made complaint not whe I loss.  Cheesy

696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 31, 2023, 04:45:31 PM

Easy for the opposing team to predict what the team will do as they are focusing with Clarkson and, like what you said, tight defense makes
him to pass the ball or make a force shots.

With strong physicality, good outside conversions and ball movements, South Sudan beats the host team and ends the hope for the qualifying
for Olympic's birth.

Nothing to say as we witness the lapses and how the opponents find ways to take this win.

Agree. I’m already done playing the blaming game since other team really show dominance against us. It only means that the level of basketball in our country is inferior compared to the rest of the world except SEA country which the only country we can dominate.

It’s still a waste if we can get the spot for Olympic while we have that kind of performance since we will face much stornger country in there that will give us more shameful defeat. Coach chot is right after all that this is a good learning experience to wake up and adjust to the basketball level that we are playing on our country. Basketball is popular here but the game play is just the same since we are not applying system that EU and US using. Also our size and genes is very unfavorable to this sports when against country like US that has a bigger and quicker built.

Look at Kai, Has the height advantage but moves really slow compared to other player in NBA with same size.

trying to get through to our 24/7 support , but for some reason live chat seems to work like a dedicated frequently asked questions section  Tongue

Is there a way to get through to support in real time ??

Are you login on the Bitcasino? I try to use live support now and it's working properly but there's no agent available now to answer my question but still it's working fine as chat.

Maybe you are not login or try to type your concern and look for chat support button when it appears.
698  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: August 31, 2023, 12:40:54 PM
This is why there is no need to just get hyped at this moment, lets wait for the volume to slowly grow bigger in the future to do something about it. I believe that we can make it work one way or another and it should be something more important when it gets there.

Correct, most importantly is the casino is running strong that gives assurance for the token to be alive even with low volume. A one big update on the BFG token utilization will surely bring back interest from previous holders that is just waiting in the sideline.

We already witnessed what’s the potential of casino tokens to pump when RLB tokens released an update about their token after the fud from their license issue. Accumulating slowly or watch closely the token price movement is the best thing to do.
699  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Warning Scam] Okbet casino sobrang hassle on: August 31, 2023, 12:15:51 PM
Update dito.

Since FIBA Basketball World Cup started we should reactivate this thread. There are pretty good players playing for their national teams.

There’s already existing thread that is active with same topic here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5461543.0. This thread become dormant for a long time while the mew topic becomes active later than this. Much better to adjust and lock this thread to avoid split of conversation with same discussion.

Team USA is dominating their group because only Canada can give them a close match on this tournament.
