61  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 18, 2024, 11:40:23 AM
Not talking about Duelbits but more in general; but sometimes support can be a hit or a miss. I have numerous instances that the first agent couldn't help me out and that, when reopening the ticket, another agent could help me out. Having good costumer support is so important as it can make or break a casino.

This is correct, why do we need to rely on customer support if all the details we are trying to find out is already available publicly on the ToS. There’s a lot of incompetent support which might give you a headache once they provide wrong information or not even helpful.

Gladly on Duelbits, Support is always quick to response while they are always friendly to answer all of my concerns especially during the Christmas event on how can I claim my daily rewards of free spin which I forgot what game it was credited.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Projected how to spend gambling profits while the game has not played yet? on: April 18, 2024, 11:16:07 AM
There’s nothing on being optimistic about how you will manage the future profit of your gambling. The only problem on this story is he already committed while the result is not yet out. He should at least make his plan available to him only before he start committing with the potential money he will earn when his prediction works out.

I usually done this whenever I want to buy something before I proceeded to gamble. The only difference is I’m okay whether I win or lose since I can still purchased my desired item without the help of gambling profit. I’m just doing it to have a goal on my gambling so that I will not over committed to earn more outside my target profit.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 17, 2024, 05:10:14 PM
Have you achieved anything from gambling the short answer is yes but Not like the glamour thing like on the internet with million of dollar or something like that since I only bet small yes maybe I just win couple hundred and withdraw it.
In the long answer, I haven't achieved in gambling I believe If I totaled all my money maybe I'm still at loss at the moment hahahha.

It’s normal that you will not achieved anything financial on gambling because it’s for entertainment purposes only. Most of the time you will lose even if you won on some occasions.

As long as you keep gambling, you will just ended up losing even if you win big in the past since gambling games is designed to let casino win in the long run that’s why they are still in the business despite lots of players continuously playing and winning because there’s a lot of players losing more that cover their losses from the winning player that later on will come back and give back what they won.

I believe the most precious achievement we can ever get in gambling is only the experience of the thrill when we risk our money that’s why we should enjoy every single bet regardless of the result because that is what we paying using our losses.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Advice for a young millionaire on: April 17, 2024, 05:02:25 PM
What financial advice would you give to a young boy, probably, at the age of 18 who just received a whole lots of money from the inheritance of his late father who was a trader and multimillionaire in the textile industry?

The boy is the only child of the widower and does not seem to be interested in the same line of business and even when he does, he requires more maturity to be able to manage the business such as graduating from the college, etc.

Hire a professional financial manager and stop asking this crucial information that related to the fate of your finances. Asking someone anonymous online for what to do about your money is never a good idea because you don’t know the credibility of user here to give an advice.

If I will be on the boy situation, I will hire a financial manager or invest my money on trusted financial manager firms so that expert will grow it while I’m still young instead of investing it myself without any proper knowledge since I’m still young and probably greedy.

I will invest my funds on fund manager and choose less aggressive investment to make sure that will make profit with minimize risk while I’m still young.
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Moonbet Web3 Sportsbook & Casino | No KYC | Web3 Poker Now Available! on: April 17, 2024, 04:15:53 PM

It's strange that they are not active here. Anyway, they must be active somewhere Wink
Maybe they'll come back to Bitcointalk Smiley
They are listed on Bitmart. And it's true, volume is low there:

https://www.bitmart.com/trade/en-US?symbol=MBET_USDT&layout=basic

They only become active here when they have an active signature campaign which they occasionally open when they have a new promotion for the casino.

Their token is very volatile due to the low volume and liquidity. A few 1000$ can pump the price a significant percentage since there’s no much liquidity available on the exchange. I’m surprised that the token is still listed there while the volume is so low.

Maybe they come back here again if manager @julerz12 connect to them again.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 04:05:48 PM
I agree on both comment above for 76ers inevitably getting the 7th spot on the playoffs with Embiid coming back assuming that he will play same dominant as before when he was still healthy.

But, Playoffs Jimmy and Bam are something that we shouldn’t look down. They already done this before showing insane playoff performance even with the top teams on their conference. Since this is just a knock out round, I will choose the higher odds which is Heat since I’m not sure if Embiid is already properly tune up since he is just coming back.
67  Other / Meta / Re: Post per day/ per month falling. on: April 16, 2024, 12:17:24 PM
Those users that usually spam the forum with bunch of post above their average post just to get the campaign bonus is the main culprit why the post count decline.

Most of the previous campaign including mixers and Stake usually reward their members that contributed more(huge post quantity). Right now, most of the campaign doesn’t have this bonus system while Stake adjust their post quota that contributes a lot on the decline of post count.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: April 16, 2024, 11:25:44 AM

I had suggested my friend to quit gambling and I had feel that he totally get addicted to the gambling.Which was the cause for the many high risk to get into the complete loss. But he clarify me,he had loss the money because he had follow the same betting strategy with the changing algorithm of the gambling site. From his experience,I had learned we should not follow the same betting style for the changing algorithm.

This is the most bullshit excuse for his losses. Everyone knew that there’s no strategy that will work on gambling in long term while the gambling algorithm is completely random that’s why it’s very hard to develop a working strategy to have a consistent profit.

Quote
Now he had decided to start the gambling again with the loan money to balance the previous loss of 2000$.What is your opinion on this,I had suggested him to go to the regular job to reduce the loan in step by step to reduce the loan burden. But he had word of “We can earn,Where we had loss everything “.Share your opinion on this.

I will not be surprised that he will pursue more gambling to recover his losses since he seems doesn’t fully understand the reason why he loss is because no one can beat the casino no matter what strategy he is using. Getting a loan just to gamble while his family is already suffering financially is a suicide. He needs to set an appointment to psychiatrist ASAP.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden’s 30% tax is not welcomed by crypto industry on: April 14, 2024, 05:22:35 PM

Biden administration proposed DAME tax on Tuesday, which would charge Bitcoin miners a 30 % tax on the cost of the electricity, but crypto industries are not happy with this proposal, have shared negative opinion against this decision.

Tell me who’s miner will be happy for a 30% tax exclusive for them while every business on the world consume same energy that they are using to operate a mining rig. Unless a mining rig use different electricity that has severe effects that harm the environment.

This action is the way of government to fight the spread of Bitcoin since they can’t regulate it so they are just imposing unjust tax to slow down miners.

In my country, Tax is near to 30% for capital gains greater than 40K USD if user will declare their crypto assets to our tax agency. Our government is against crypto in general that’s why they are charging us unfair taxes even though they can’t execute it properly.
70  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: April 14, 2024, 05:01:35 PM
You can find their rules here - https://blackjack.fun/provably-fair/toc
I know that your question is ironic but you are right, they should put their rules on the game's page. For example, Evolution has live blackjack and game rules are available on the page. You have to click on round ? icon and you'll get answers to every possible question that you'll have about blackjack. I think that they should add a similar icon on their website where Blackjack rules will be written.
Btw I read your recent posts and your concerns are legit, considering them will only help the casino to make their service better, good.

This is my realization too after @Jackpotracer pointed out here. I didn’t notice it because I’m familiar on the basic rules of Blackjack but I decided to check all the house blackjack of different casino and I notice that they have rules and fairness option available on the game option itself and not pn the faqs.

I realized that he raised a valid point to Blackjack.fun for improvement since this casino main game is blackjack which is superb for me in terms of user experience because I played a lot on their house blackjack a lot.

71  Other / Meta / Re: Is gambling problem or anything related to addiction is an off-topic? on: April 14, 2024, 04:37:00 PM
Right now, the mods is not that aggressive on moving repetitive topic/useless topic on gambling board to off-topic. I'm not sure what’s the real reason but gambling discussion is now back with those topic that has similarities to the previous topic that move on off-topic lately.

I’m not sure if the mods will still take action soon. I will just watch for now and lock this thread since there’s no mass move of thread already happening on current topics on gambling.
72  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 14, 2024, 04:32:59 PM
Maybe some gamblers doesn't like 2FA because they don't understand it, but once they'll get educated, maybe they'll consider it.

Hopefully they'll be able to read our discussions here.

Gamblers usually want a quick access on the game that’s why casino usually offer an instant account creation or web3 connection for an easy access to the casino. This is the reason why some gambler doesn’t use 2FA to secure their account and just rely with their password. They are lazy to open the authenticator app then copy paste the code whenever they login or withdraw funds.

I like 2FA security because it can give you assurance that you will not gonna compromise even if you accidentally exposed your login details to scammer. Safety shouldn’t be considered as extra step because its our insurance to the money we are depositing in the casino.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: April 14, 2024, 12:02:56 PM
That's right, of course casinos will never spend the funds they have to give to other people and they are the ones who really benefit from the many players who play at their place and the winnings that some people get are only very small compared to the money they have spent at the casino so that the party who is really disadvantaged I think is only the gamblers who cannot manage their gambling so they spend too much money on the casino and use gambling as entertainment I think it will be better for our finances and we will not be addicted to gambling.

Casino spends their funds which you can casino bankroll. They are spending it whenever players hit jackpot or bets. They also have fixed cost from their operations expenses.

They are just recovering it through the lose bets of players wagering on their casino. It’s not always positive for the casino because some them experience bankruptcy if their operation cost is greater than what they can earn in their casino. So they are using their own money but it just easily replenished when there’s a lot of players losing money.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Short term Investors feeling cool with the centralized Blockchains on: April 14, 2024, 11:36:06 AM
Just like the popular saying on gambling there’s also a counterpart on it on investing which is invest only what you can afford to lose so that you will not feel the pressure of selling your holdings immediately whenever there’s a price correction sign.

Most of the bitcoin holders purchased Bitcoin using their life savings or other money with different purposes rather than investments. Because people will surely neglect the risk of holding assets on exchange if they will suffer more losses when still holding it during correction.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrity Poker Games: Publicity Stunt or Genuine Passion? on: April 13, 2024, 01:07:18 PM
Celebrities who are into gambling most of the time didn’t reveal it in the public and remains private, so I think those celebrities who are exposing themselves that they are into gambling is just like a passive marketing campaign or at least part of the contract. Once they have a good number of followers and they start promoting indirectly any gambling site, I believe both parties will benefit from it and they will not do it without getting anything in return, because their reputation are more important honestly.

It’s different on Poker games since they have a special table dedicated for celebrities or a celebrity joining on a casual today for a friendly game only. I think I watch several time a celebrity play the shark tank version of the poker which is fun to watch due to the additional punishment for bluffing and caught when the card reveal.

They might receive some guesting fee but it’s different than to the typical celebrity playing gambling in a casino for promotion just like Drake doing. On this case, they are actually just having fun playing real poker against other players.
76  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: April 13, 2024, 11:44:20 AM

Thank you very much for your kind answer and help to see their Blackjack Rules. Their page for their BJ game shows this, and unfortunately the BJ tournaments are now private, so we cannot see what rules they show, if any.

Since you are confirming that the rules are now published, I am proud to tell everyone that at least I have succeeded in getting the rules finally published. But as you can see in the screenshot above, a visitor cannot see the rules in full. Very unprofessional as Blackjack players and lovers will want to know the rules before they register to play Blackjack. I could tell you exactly what house edge they offer according to the rules you showed us. Thanks again for that.

I agree that they should at least put the link to the rules on the game itself even in the form of information button. I finally understand what you are trying to emphasize here since some Blackjack games have different rules in terms of when the dealer will stand or hit on soft 17 or not.

BTW, they also added the Provably Fair later, as it was not there when I played, so you can thank me whenever you want, as it was also added because of me.

Signature Spammers and Jackpotracer attackers are welcome to remain silent.

Cheers

It’s easy to become misunderstood if you started your criticism from a dispute of your bug finding before. At least your suggestions was being heard despite you and blackjack.fun have a negative arguments.  Cheesy
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: April 13, 2024, 11:38:49 AM

This has also reminded sometimes ago when a friend of mine told me that he has lost too much in couple of times in gambling because he has been engaging on too much risks of picking big odds all just so that he can have huge profits at his winning.
Ever since then, he said to have decided on picking low odds and accumulate the profits on a gradual process and yet he still lost even at the low odds.

He feels so frustrated and beginning to doubt that he does not think if there is ever going to be possibilities of winning in the gambling again.
I just smile because this is the same game who has been so comfortable in gambling simply because he could win then.
Now he feels the gambling sites is playing some trick on their games.

There’s a lot of gamblers think like this that they can beat the casino by applying some strategy that involves low and high odds in the process which doesn’t matter in reality since all games in the casino has a house edge which is impossible to beat especially in long term exposure on gambling.

In general, it’s impossible to beat the casino even using sure bets, arbitrage betting and other strategy that can guarantee profits because casino will surely seize your profit once they caught you doing this since it’s considered unfair for them if you bet without any risk.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 12, 2024, 03:56:14 PM

They are going to slowly decrease though. Over time, traditional casinos will eventually just fewer and fewer and may only exist in major cities where tourist travels a lot. It's going to be the place where people celebrate their stag parties and business success and then attendees are just going to stay on the casino til the night is over. Physical casinos will slowly die.

AFAIK even before, land based casino main target is huge city because that is the place which wealthy person usually leave or stay for work. Land-based casino customers target is still the same and they are still performing well even with the existence of online casino. There’s still a lot of new casino being constructed in our country after pandemic since there’s still a demand for this.

Online casino become a hit because it’s target audience are those people that can’t afford playing in land-based casino due to different reason but that doesn’t mean the old players of land based casino will choose online while they are already playing the upgraded version of casino experience.

It’s just the market for gambling industry grow significantly due to the existence of online casino while land based casino target market is still the same.
79  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: April 12, 2024, 03:29:52 PM
Many things have changed on Blackjack.fun, I haven't visited this website since Covid pandemic ended and I am very impressed, I wasn't expecting to see a complete casino. I was expecting to see an improved blackjack game app. Now there are Sports, eSports, Games, Live Games, slots, etc... added on the website. BlackJack game still feels the same (I bet the font is the same). Btw congrats on your achievement, this website grew from blackjack oriented website to a completed casino and most importantly the UI/UX design is different from competitors that gives blackjack.fun a unique vibe but I would love to see a light version of theme.

would you please so kind and tell us the Blackjack rules of their game? I could not see any rules and rules are very important IMHO

cheers

What specific rules you are looking for? There"s a rules listed for their house blackjack under their ToS https://blackjack.fun/provably-fair/toc>Frequently asked questions. Blackjack.fun BJ is a very typical game which has basic rules of Blackjack while 3rd party game rules can be read on the menu option of each game.

The website has indeed received a major update judging by @shield132 last visit to the casino.
Thank you for trying to answer my question but very interesting that after I asked few times to explain the blackjack rules that are used that I did not get any answer that will show and explain the rules that they use!

Does the support doesn’t point out to you their FAQS section since they specifically write the rules there for their house blackjack. I’m not sure if they just recently added it or not because it’s been a long time since my last game here but they are upgrading their website based on your criticism especially the probably fair feature on their blackjack which is visible now on the game.

Quote
To answer that they use basic rules doesn't tell anything. If you know the rules, why not write them here? If I were to offer a Blackjack game, I would use the rules that I think are best for me and show them to the players in all details.

Why are they hiding it?
I’m confused, here or in their casino because the rules is disclosed in there.

80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 12, 2024, 11:12:49 AM
NYK -2.5

This game is not anymore important for the Celtics, so I wouldn't be surprise if the starters will not play just like what the Clippers did, so I'm counting on the Knicks to win on the road.

Boston last 10 games is also not important anymore yet they are still playing starters with 100% effort to win the game. But the bookie is now giving 2.0 odds to Boston which is a clear indication that Boston might really not gonna play full force on their remaining game.

Boston last game yesterday against Bucks is a blast. They might consider resting on tomorrow’s match or they will use their remaining games as preparation for play-offs since they have time to rest during the play-in season. Nevertheless, I will bet on New York Knicks ML and not with handicap just in case Boston will seriously play this match.

They'll only be serious if the starters will play, if you aren't sure then just wait until the game will start and bet live. I guess -2.5 is just so easy, and once the starters will be announce out, that will increase to probably -5.5 or even more, so in my case, I would take it early and be contented on that spread. A win here will ensure the Knicks position to be at the 3 or at least at 4, still would be getting the home court advantage.

Boston started the game with their original starters but was still defeated by the Knicks. Yeah, the -2.5 is manageable for the Knicks since they are desperate to secure a position in the Playoffs for a better opponent for them to advance to the second round.

I feel a bit regretful for not choosing a negative handicap pick but still, a win is a win even though the profit is a little bit lower. I was a bit afraid at the start of the game when the Boston starter announced, but everything worked well in favour of Knick when the game progressed.
